I wonder if when Jay Ferin was a little girl she wanted to be a navy soldier like her big sister. I wonder if her father wanted her to be one too, to continue their family’s legacy.

I wonder if that ever changed, if when she lost her sister she wanted to join the navy to take down those pirates that killed her, or alternatively she took the warning of Ava’s death as a call not to follow her footsteps. I wonder if her joining the navy was the last thing her father wanted anymore.

I wonder how long it took for Jay to notice the Navy’s faults. I wonder when she and Kira promised to change it from the inside.

I wonder if Kira looked up to Ava too, if she was almost their third sister when they were younger. I wonder if when Ava died, Kira could see Jay changing. I wonder if they talked as much as they would have as little girls leading up to Jay joining Chip.

I wonder if Kira training to be a Captain put distance between them, if Jay was afraid she’d lose her too. I wonder if they fought about the good of the navy, Kira believing they could change while Jay slowly lost faith in them.

I wonder if Jay has the heart to resent the Navy even now, even knowing they may be responsible for Ava’s death despite all she’s been told. Maybe she regrets not becoming a captain like Kira, instead having to justify her new life to her own family.

I wonder if Jay wishes she’d stayed with her mother to be there for her as her health declined. I wonder if she considered leaving Chip and Gillion once she found out, even now she’s tied to her crew.

I wonder if Jay had left with the Navy (like Condi considered leading her to do), if she would’ve joined them. If she would’ve fought beside Kira and her father and crossed paths with Gillion and Chip again. I wonder if she’d be unable to pick sides again, or if she’d be so stuck in place she couldn’t go back.

I wonder if Ava ever snuck off to meet Lizzie in Featherbrook, if Jay might’ve noticed a slight giddiness as she disappeared to a quieter side of the island.

I wonder if Jay hates Lizzie or not now, if she’s upset with her for not telling her about her relationship with her sister, but also Ava for not telling her about Lizzie. I wonder if she hates her for loving her sister and keeping her away from home longer.

Jay is such a cool underrated character I need to THINK ABOUT HER MORE!!!

Hello there, I’m in genuine need of more fandom / online friends so like, if you also want more friends, here’s some info about me and maybe we can be friends? <3

My names Jay, I’ve recently picked it for myself (and then realised I could have possibly had an even cooler name Bo which is the shortened of my middle name and now im cursing myself for not realising it sooner and questioning weather or not to do a switch cause idk if Bo or Jay suits me better?!!). I’m 20 and FtM, and I go by he/they pronouns primarily but I also don’t mind if you use any others :)

I’m also Australian so yeah idk if that’s a selling point or not

Oh and I’m labelled as queer, I guess, but dude sexuality is confusing. I’ve recently been going down the aromantic / asexual spiral of questioning but I’m so unsure of everything I really suck at telling the difference between platonic and romantic feelings. I’m also somewhere in the sapphic spectrum I believe. So if you can relate to this mindfuck in any way that would also be rad.

I write fan fic for the Marauders Fandom (sirius is my everything and I’m also a tall sirius truther) and also Stranger Things but primarily Steddie for that tbh.

I’m also in the Good Omens fandom, as well as a few others more casually and don’t write fic for them :) recently I’ve been starting to watch JJK cause my best friend is really into it

My favorite two movies of all time are Rocky Horror Picture Show and Cars. That probably tells you a lot about me to be honest so do with that as you will :)

My favorite musicians are David Bowie at No. 1 (my lord and saviour), Maya Hawke, Hozier, Radiohead (im not a red flag I promise), Conan (I’m seeing him on fri wtf), ooo and I’ll add SOAD cause I’m really into them this month. But it’s ever changing really and there are too many to choose from, I’d say they’re my most listened to though :) I am chronically listening.

Uh I’m gonna spitball some more facts about me this is kinda hard:

I’m the eldest of 4 kids 💀 one of them is 5 years younger than me 💀💀 the other two are 6 years younger 💀💀💀 (I love them sm the annoying shitstarters)

I love to draw and make art but I suck at anatomy and colour theory it makes me want to rip my hair out (and I wanna be a fan artist so bad)

I’m attempting to learn bass but I also cannot commit to learning the bass (I blame my sibling for keeping it in their wardrobe so I forgoet it exists)

I am 90% sure I’m neurodivergent I just cannot really afford to get that diagnosis rn ya know?!

I did ballet & dance most of my life 🤯🤯 (now I’m a bartender and my old ballet teacher is a regular at the sailing club I work and now I look queer and cunty as hell and every time she sees me she just stares in disbelief and fake smiles it’s hilarious)

I still sleep with my childhood teddy :( I love her she is my one thing I would save in a fire. Her name is charlotte and she’s probably 3 years overdue for a bath but I love her

I’m fucking weird about stars - the shape not the astrology - like I love them. I see them and I get very excited and I draw them everywhere (you can probably tell off all my master lists, they all have stars drawn on the title strips 😭) I just really love them they’re so cute. I almost named myself Star actually

I’m a sagittarius. I don’t know what that means but I know it means a lot of things to people so hopefully it’s good things!

My favorite colour is green but more so earthy and cool greens. I love a good scrumptious yummy green, something mossy something sagey. I have a green wall in my room and it’s very nice to look at.

I lived abroad for a little bit as a teen in Vietnam which was amazing and I’m planning to move somewhere abroad again next year hopefully (seriously get me the hell out of SA)

My biggest dream / goal / career choice for most of my life was to be an actor but now I’m just kinda existing with no real drive or purpose in life. But I might pick acting back up now I’m becoming more comfy with myself and my gender :) my dream role is to play Frank from Rocky.

i 10000% believe he grew way too fast so the first and second season he was like uncomfortably tall so he was clumsy. like hear me out

so he’d be around 6’1 or 185 cm by dragons rising?

actually this brings about my strong belief that the original four were about 16-18 as the show starts so for seasons 1 and 2 they were all going through puberty

for a hc about what scares him, there’s honestly so much to go off of.

you could say he’s scared of arid, dry places like the desert (if i’m right, that’s the part of the block he was in when we first see him post-hole in the sea?).

you could say he’s afraid of losing himself more than he already has. you could say he’s afraid of finding arlin in the hole in the sea and arlin already being too far gone. you could say he’s afraid to lose finn.

but these are boring

i think he has an irrational fear of clowns. it adds another layer to ep 53 which i think is fucking hilarious

and for appearance— I AM A WINGED FERIN TRUTHER !!!!

i like to think that all the ferins have very bright, prim wings that are very white (maybe even with hints of gold), but that drey’s wings are a darker brown/black.

i also like to think that he has a lot of moles n birthmarks.

i ALSO like to think that his hair’s grown out pretty long now, like probably at LEAST halfway down his back. everyone takes turns doing each other’s hair and he lets ollie practice braiding on his when albatrio are too busy.

and i ALSOO like to think he actually used to be far taller than jayson when they were kids, but stands at about 5’9ish now because he slouches a lot (to me, the ferins are a very tall family— jay’s like 5’11 in my brain). if he didn’t slouch he’d probably be at least 6 foot

OKAY ive been thinking about heights and I've come to some conclusions maybe.

Zane is round 6'2, Jay 6'0 because i SAID SO cole's like. 5'8-5'7. Kai 5'7, Lloyd 5'6, and Nya 5'5

(If i had to say for other characters, Wu's probably around Kai's height maybe a little taller so like 5'8-5'9. Morro's tall too he's probably between Zane and Jay. Garmadon...tall ass bitch he's like 6'6. Sensei garm is regular height but taller than Wu so 6'0 smth. Misako is like. Short. 5'4-5'3. Pixal....5'7-5'8?)

What is your headcanon regarding the height of all ninjas?

ty for the ask! my answer on this changes like every time i answer it, but rn :

- Cole is the shortest (listen, hear me out, what if he was just like built like a fucking boulder cuz earth powers. like yeah hes buff but hes also 5’2, a short king)

- Kai is second shortest (like 5’4, but he is constantly in platform shoes or heels, bringing him up to like 5’9, not to mention his hair making him appear even taller. We do not know how he manages to do ninja stuff in the shoes, but hes slaying so its ok)

-Nya is next, at about 5’5 (ppl are beginning to theorise that the reason Kai has those shoes is to appear like he is still taller than her, regardless im a lowkey short smith siblings truther)

-Jay is suprisingly tall, at about 5’7 (though his posture is so bad, he looks more like 5’3. vaguely insecure about his height, always has those things you slot into sneakers to make you look taller)

-Lloyd tall lol, its funny ok, tell me it isnt funny (like imagine in the tomorow’s tea episode he goes from like 3 foot tall to 5’9, and even then still gets taller, i’d say hes like 5’11 by sons of garmadon. And whole time hes still getting called shorty by everyone)

-Zane 6’0 cuz nindroid (Dr Julien was like ‘fuck it, if im making a robot it should at least be able to help me reach items on the top shelf’)

- and finally, Pixal 6’2 (Cyrus Borg had the same idea as Dr Julien, Pixal was allowed to be taller simply because Zane’s height was limited by the low ceilings that come with living in a tree like he and Dr Julien were)
