Name translation doesn’t usually work that way, hence why regardless of what it means in its original language, we in English still call Jake “Jake” and not “Heelgrabber”. Moreover, as far as we know none of the canon Na’vi names really have “meanings” anyways; they're just nice-sounding collections of syllables.

The phrase “heel-grabber” would translate to something like tsunä niäyu, but it would be very strange to use that as a name.

If Jake were to get a truly na'vi name, not just a transliteration of his English name, what would you translate it as? Would it be a lì'fya translation of 'Jacob' or would it be a whole new name or would it be something else?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. To do something other than a transliteration of his English name would just be to give him a brand-new entirely separate name, which I don't really feel is necessary.

The canon Na'vi transliteration for Jake is Tsyeyk (J is a very tricky sound to emulate in Na'vi phonology). "Jacob" could hypothetically be Tsyeykop or Tsyeykap.

We wouldn't be able to know his full name in the Na'vi format without knowing his father's first name, which we of course have no info on. For now as far as we can get would be:

Tsyeyk te Suli [father's name]'itan

I don't think he actually goes by that though; as far as we can tell he's still just known as Jake Sully/Tsyeyk Suli.

Interestingly, when Tonowari greets Neytiri by her full name he still addresses her as Tskaha, not Suli, which implies to me that Na'vi probably keep whatever family name they are born with throughout their whole lives regardless of marital status. I assume this happens to apply to name formats too, thus Jake keeping his human format despite otherwise fully integrating into Na'vi culture.

Hi Gallus, I'm doing some worldbuilding and you seem like you could be connected enough for me to find an answer to the problem of dwarven agriculture. Many problems are created by the requirement of no sunlight, as even the common response of mushrooms still need light to break down decomposing matter as a primary energy source. Currently, we're thinking that they use a special type of mushroom that breaks down rocks in an energy-producing reaction, giving them enough energy to absorb nutrients and grow - this would serve a second purpose in explaining why building a massive hollowed-out mountain fortress doesn't produce an equally large amount of gravel.

Any thoughts? We're grasping at straws kinda lol

Well, some thoughts:

There's plenty of cave systems (especially Karst Systems) that are at least partially open to Sunlight- especially the kind that have rivers running through them, which is something else that's really helpful for agriculture.

For Example: This Cool AF Sinkhole cave in china that has an entire Forest in it

Now There's a view to put outside the city Gates!

Karst specifically is a landscape where underground rivers hollow out the limestone underground and then the cave roofs fall in. This kind of landscape answers your gravel question nicely: the hollowed out mountain does produce an equal amount of gravel, but the gravel turns up as the sandy banks of the river system hundreds of miles away.

So, there's your sunlight that can be used directly, or reflected or magically transferred deeper into the cave system.

Or they just put more holes in the roof! Unless your dwarves are also vampires, there's no reason for them to not hollow out a few Skylights into the mountain too.

But let's talk some other cave ecology and agriculture!

For starters, your dwarves could be sitting on top of a literal gold mine that would allow them to trade for a lot of needed materials and crops.

And by gold mine, I mean Salt Mine.

Historically, salt comes out of hollowed-out mountains and is worth more than gold.

Also something the humans have historically fought a bunch of wars over, so there's some free political tensions if you needed that!

I can also mean the possible fucking enormous piles of bat guano that accumulates in Karst caves, which is the world's most insanely good fertilizer, and ALSO something that has been worth more than it's weight in gold.

Speaking of Gold, another thing that often lives in sinkhole caves in abundance is BEES. turns out, limestone stalactites are a terrific place to build a hive that is difficult for predators to reach, stays dry and the stone substrate means the hives can reach many tons in weight before they start having structural issues. That sweet, sweet insect-derived liquid gold is already important to Dwarves in a lot of folklore- it's really hard to have a Traditional Dwarven Mead Hall without the honey to make the mead, you know?

So you got your mushrooms, you got your sunlight-grown sinkhole crops, you got your traded goods and you got your source of alcohol- the only thing really missing from an ancient food pyramid here is a staple carbohydrate. To that end, may I propose our good Peruvian Friend: The Potato.

Grain crops aren't actually all that nutritious and were kept around in ancient societies more as legal tender that kept the peasants busy, because wheat or rice takes months to grow, an enormous amount of labor to harvest, and wheat also needs to be milled before it can be turned into food- all enormously time-consuming processes that keep peasants busy and easy to rule tyranically over.

Potatoes though? Pop one in the ground in spring and you can dig up fingerlings all summer, and if you make potato towers, you can harvest up to 40lbs of delicious, easy-to-prepare-and-store carb out of a single plant- a real space-saver for the limited sinkhole skyspace.

If your dwarves have cheese, the potato makes even more sense, because Potato+dairy is the easiest, most nutritionally complete survival food there is.

Finally, consider: Dwarven Vodka.

This post is open for anyone to comment suggestions on, but that's my take: put your dwarves in a Karst-sinkhole cave system, give them a highly in demand resource like salt or guano, bees, and taters. Boom. Whole agriculture, economy and political scheme starters.

A/N::I got this idea from a character of janitor ai so credits for the inspiration: marshwa4! I don't have this story fully planned out but I know it'll work out and PLEASE TRUST ME IT LOOKS SUPER STEREOTYPICAL AND CRINGE BUT JUST READ THE FIRST 3 PARAGRAPHS ITLL GET BETTER‼️

REMINDER‼️ this isn't 100% historically accurate and should be taken with a grain of salt. This story is also set in the late 1800s to early 1900s specifically in Europe but if you want you can imagine it wherever else you'd like, it is a fictional story after all 💗

Park Seonghwa wasn't an uncommon name to hear around the kingdom. It was more of a fairy tale name than anything. Stories of his rebellious and vicious acts travel around villages and kingdoms quickly. He has been seen by many royalty and merchants but rarely caught. Officials estimate that he's killed over 400 people in his 2 years of being a pirate, with the help of his crew of course.

You were much too concerned with your citizens to care about politics and things. Being the second heir to the throne meant that you didn't have to worry about politics or officials, you were worried about your people. You were a big part of one of the children's schools. A few times a week you'd head down to the children's school and teach them some things about being a princess and simply just hang out with the kids. That was pretty much the entire highlight of your life.

Most of the time you spend in your castle. You didn't really have duties to attend to and you didn't have many friends. Most people your age were too scared to talk to you.

You sat in your room painting a massive canvas in a soft green dress, a little apron over your body to protect your expensive dress from getting ruined. You held your palette in one hand and the paintbrush in the other. You step back to look at the entire canvas, a sad sigh escaping your lips. Disappointment in your eyes. The maid in the corner comes to your side.

"Is everything alright princess?" She asks kindly.

"Yes, quite alright," you say as you put down your palette and brush. You take off your apron and hand it to the maid. "I'm going for a walk around the village," you say as you leave your room. You go downstairs to see your fiance and father talking by the doorway. You stop your hurried steps and go down the stairs cautiously and gracefully, switching your persona. "Prince Herrington," you say as you approach your soon-to-be husband. He bows to you and you force yourself to swallow your pride and curtsy.

"Where are you headed?" Herrington asks with his chin up, looking down at you.

"I'm going out to retrieve some…" you paused and tried to speak while looking at his dispiteful face. "Paint," you nod and Herrington looks at you suspiciously.

He stands to the left of the door and holds it open for you. You walk out with a respectful nod towards him before heading for the village streets. You gaze around the streets taking in the Seabreeze and fresh air. You stop by one merchant who seems to be painting. You look at his table to see paints and hand-carved palettes. Once he notices your presence he stands up and bows.

"Princess Y/N, it is an honor," he says as he sits back down. "What can I offer you?" He says eagerly with a smile. You spot one beautiful blue paint and pick up the bottle.

"Could I have this? How much would it be?" You ask kindly.

"Free of cost for royalty," he says with an eager smile. You look at the bottom of the bottle to see £1.75. You toss him two pounds before walking off.

"Keep the change," you smile with a gentle wave. You turn to continue your walk before bumping into someone, stumbling backward from their force. You dust off your dress. "Excuse me," you say with a displeased expression as you look up to see a tanned-skinned man with his hair slicked back. Your lips parted in shock from such an exotic-looking man. He looked down at you with a blank expression.

"Pardon," he says in a rough voice. He leans down slightly to reach your height. "My, aren't you a rare sight," he says as leans closer. Your breath quickens as you step back a little. He picks up an apple from the stand next to you. He takes an aggressive bite as he examines you. You're at a loss for words as he analyzes you, his gaze heavy and lustful.

"Y-You're going to pay for that right," you raise an eyebrow at him and he looks down at the apple, standing up straight again. He tosses it behind him and a short and scruffy man catches it, his teeth gold and rotted as he smiles at the apple.

"And if I don't?" He crosses his arms with a little smirk. You adjust your dress and try to stand tall to him. You open your mouth to speak before stopping. "Cat got your tongue princess?" He chuckles as he looks down at you.

"You will pay for it. I command you to," you frown and cross your arms. He puts his arms down and scoffs.

"You command me to? Oh~ I'm scared," he says as he tosses a few coins to the merchant who stands there distraught.

"You should be," you say before instantly regretting your words, realizing how stupid you sound.

"Oh you're so cute," he chuckles and your cheeks grow pink. His eyes flutter down from your pink cheeks to your neck. His smirk faded to a stern look as he followed the chain around your neck, to the top of your dress, his eyes ever so slightly peering down your dress. You cover your chest and look away from him. He puts his hand on your waist and pulls you close. You gasp and put your hands on his chest. He notices a ring on your ring finger, silver with a blue gem in the center of it. He lets go of your waist and grabs your wrist, examining the ring on your finger.

You look at him sternly and he looks into your eyes. His eyes suddenly avert behind you to see a few soldiers. "I look forward to this," he smirks when the soldiers come up behind you.

"Who is this?" Herrington says in a loud voice, trying to stand his ground. You sigh and turn around to look at your Fiancé. You force a smile as you look at him.

"He's just a man I bumped into by accident," you chuckle with an innocent smile, his hand still wrapped around your wrist.

"Let go of my wife," Herrington says in a strong voice trying to intimidate the man holding you. The man scoffed and let your hand down.

"I'm not your wife," you mumble and the strange man looks at you with curious eyes. Herrington grabs you and examines you carefully.

"Are you alright Y/N?" He says as he runs his hands over your body. You look away from him.

"I'm alright," you say in a lifeless tone. Herrington holds you close to him as a soldier points a gun at the man. You look concerned as they point the gun at him.

"What's with the guns~?" He mocks as he puts his hands on his hips. "I haven't done anything wrong, I paid for my food, I conversed with the princess for a moment, and now I'm on my merry way," he says as he turns around putting his hands up.

"He's right," you nod up at Herrington.

"He's armed!" Herrington calls out and gestures to the sword case on his left hip. The man quickly grabs the sword and points it at the soldiers. The dull wooden tip pointing to their guns.

"It's wood," he chuckles. "I use it to teach kids how to use swords," he laughs and puts the sword back in its case before walking off to find his crew of men who ran away earlier. Herrington encourages you to come back with him to the castle as he reminds you to never go outside without protection. As you walk back you look down at your ring, the blue gem glistening in the sunlight.

That night you lay in bed. Your hand is raised above your head as you admire the ring. A maid rolls in a tray with tea and biscuits on it. "I heard about your encounter with Seonghwa earlier today," the maid says as she waits for you to sit up. You fix your nightgown and look at her surprised.

"Seonghwa? Like the pirate?" You ask confused as she offers you the teacup.

"Yes, princess. I was told by Prince Herrington that he was holding you in the street, interrogating you," she says in a worried tone as you take a sip of your tea.

"He didn't seem like Seonghwa, I thought he was just some man," you say as you look at the specs of leaves in your tea. "He was very well dressed for a pirate," you explain before looking at the maid. She takes your cup and offers you a small plate of biscuits. "I guess that explains his inappropriate behavior," you sigh before taking a bite of the biscuit.

"Oh? If you don't mind me asking, princess, what did he do?" The maid sits next to you on the bed. You clear your throat and prepare to speak.

"He looked down the top of my chest," you say as you rub your upper chest and the maid's eyes widen.

"Oh my," she gasps. "How vile, I'm so sorry for you," she says as she places her hand on your leg comfortingly. You shrug and pick up the teacup. "Well, you need to get some rest for your big day tomorrow. I'll be in my room if you need anything," she says before wheeling the trolls back out to the hallway, closing the door behind herself. You finish your tea and look at the canvas in the corner of your room. How different things would be if you hadn't gone out today, if you hadn't got mad at your painting, what would've happened? You sigh blow out your candle and lie down.

Your mind races with the memories of Seonghwa. His eyes, his touch, his voice when he spoke to you, the way his body was drawn to you like a magnet, his lips inches from yours. You daydreamed about someday meeting him again...

“I still don’t understand why you need me to go with you,” Pez repeated, Henry in step with him as they approached the front door. “Because,” Henry explained, again, “We were allowed a plus one for this event and I don’t know anyone in my class yet and it’s awkward and this is my professor’s massive, elaborate mansion and… I need you.” Henry was rueful to admit the last part, but when it came to schmoozing older rich folk, Pez was his ace in the hole. He wasn’t even in the course with Henry, but had been won over with the promise of an open bar and canapes. While Pez dressed in a wildly patterned pair of tailored chinos and a practically neon velvet sport coat, Henry opted for a simple sweater and grey trousers. To be fair, Pez did compliment how “scrumptious” his arse looked in the slacks. Not that it mattered; this particular class was a small one and Henry didn’t plan to sleep with anyone he had to look in the eyes on a biweekly basis for an entire semester.

Yeah I really don’t know, and usually I’m pretty good at twisting characters into their darker, angst-iest selves for the purpose of upsetting, dd:dne AUs lol

I guess he could go down that path. Nothing’s impossible. Not the same way as Johanna, though.

I could see it happening in a Worst Fucking Timeline Ever scenario, where the world’s gone completely to shit, and he’s with a non-mage Rook specifically because she can’t use magic to protect herself the way he can. He’s terrified of death, terrified of her dying, and maybe he starts leaning on his magic in ways that feel justifiable at first but spiral into something darker. Maybe he justifies controlling her choices or manipulating situations to keep her out of harm's way, even if it means undermining her autonomy. (I’m using she/her pronouns here because I’m thinking of it strictly in terms of my own Rook rn and what I know of her character.)

But even then, it’d be such a stretch. His core values (his love of freedom, his kindness) are so central to who he is that it’d have to be a massive amount of fear and desperation to push him there. It’s not impossible, but it’d definitely be a “world’s gone to hell and taken him with it” kind of scenario. And even then, I feel like he’d hate himself for it.

I eat dead doves for breakfast, lunch, and supper and, quite honestly, I don’t think even I could write Emmrich as a dark version.

Anyway, this is just me rambling while I chop carrots for soup, so take it with a grain of salt.

I think given Andrew's position and how he grew up what he's done was very justified

I think the way that Andrew operates in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is justified given how he grew up and the positions he was forced to be in. +some theories that the mom had a bigger hand in forcing Andrew to raise her.

Maybe that's a hot take but lemme elaborate.

I see a lot of Andrew slander that I really disagree with

Given he was forced to look after his sister and manage her wellbeing from a very young age it was drilled into his head early on that Ashley is his #1 priority and to not do so would be to see Ashley scolded by the mom and in turn her yelling at you to take better care of Ashley. This feels hinted at in Progress Report 3 where it really comes off as such(although this scene could be anything so take it with a grain of salt).

Either way Andrew felt there would be repercussions for not taking care of his sister and things that are ingrained in childhood can have serious echo's in your behavior for the rest of your life.

Andrew's staunch supportiveness towards his sister can really be felt in conversations when Ashley is not with him. We as of writing this post have not seen Andrew ever once talk bad about Ashley when she wasn't around. Even going as far as to lie to others to protect her image. This can be seen in the dream Julia flashback where Andrew says Ashley was shaken up by Nina's death which is a complete lie, however, he just doesn't know how to break it to his "girlfriend" that he just prioritizes Ashley way more than Julia because of both his protective nature towards her and his developed feelings.

The two have mixed. Andrew not only wants to now protect Ashley at all costs but somewhere along the way he clearly develops strong feelings towards her and now he's willing to throw everything away for her at any moment to be with who he loves most.

With Progress Report 4 released we get a MASSIVE view into the circumstances Andrew started dating Julia. Rumors are spread about Andrew and Ashley, rumors we can all infer are not good for Andrew and Ashley's public image and so to get rid of them Andrew dates someone who looks like Ashley. Andrew doesn't care for Julia the way he does for Ashley because Andrew superficially dated Julia to get rid of the rumors. I speculate he even was somewhat trying to focus his feelings for his sister to someone he wasn't related to. Andrew probably thought of her as a way to void the rumors given how Andrew somewhat cares about seeming normal he might've thought this was a decent idea at the start of the relationship and as things deteriorated he started asking her to tie her hair up and look even more like his sister.

When Julia broke up with Andrew, Andrew didn't care. He wasn't upset really because he didn't need her anymore. Andrew had Ashley are in a spot now where they don't need to hide themselves anymore. Well lovingly they still are on the run LOL.

I mean just LOOK at Andrew's face at the end. That isn't "ooo pretty girl" That's "Kinda annoying but whatever I guess..."

The face and sigh at the end of the video is really what makes me think this.

That and Andrew's general tense attitude like Julia is just taking up his time, he doesn't care about other girls even though he's single.

He doesn't care because he has his Ashley. The only girl in his life he truly loves and the rest don't matter to him.

Andrew growing up in the position he did and his feeling towards his sister really put him in a pinch. He couldn't show his feelings and he was raised to care for her with his life. He couldn't let her go but he tried making the best of what he had until he was Quarantined.

what apple pencil tips do u use ?

i assume this is a follow up to this ask where i briefly mentioned i use custom tips. but yea, i use this guy:

i've been using one tip for the past 7 months and it hasn't worn down or broken or scratched my screen at all. i had been purchasing normal apple pencil tips beforehand and they wouldn't last even half that time (even after i took off my textured screen protector). and tbh apple pencil tips cost a weirdly massive amt so i'm pretty happy i found these guys :)

they do snap under a lot of pressure tho. found this out the hard way when i tried to smush my pencil into a case and the metal rod just. Broke? idk. i personally don't draw with a lot of pressure on my pen, so it hasn't snapped while drawing for me. if u know that u put a lot of weight on ur pen tho, maybe be careful lol

more on pressure. i've found that the pen pressure sensitivity is pretty good, but i also don't rely on that too much in my art so ehh take that w/ grain of salt... i def don't feel as safe pressing down hard to get thicker lines (due to aforementioned pen snappage :C), but i adjusted pressure settings in procreate and that made everything better 👍

Thoughts on Daggerheart!!

I'll admit I haven't really been following it until today, but after watching the videos released today I got very excited and ended up building a character and reading a lot of the book, as I am wont to do (might post about them later lol).

Now, full disclosure, I wouldn't say I'm all that familiar with the TTRPG space outside of D&D, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. That said, I've played D&D, Wanderhome, Alice is Missing, and the fan-made Hollow Knight TTRPG, and I've watched some AP of Kids on Bikes, Call of Cthulhu, Monsterhearts, and Candela Obscura, which is a longer list than I was expecting. Huh. Anyways, my thoughts!

I really like the duality dice! It's such an interesting way to do mixed success that incorporates story/character into mechanics, which is great.

Related to that, I also like Hope as a fluid resource, and I think that Fear is a nice way to both prompt GM action and to just create a fun sense of dread as the GM takes more tokens

The lack of turn order/action economy is... cool, and a really interesting idea, but my thoughts on this are complicated. As we're seeing in the oneshot right now, it really helps to keep combat as part of the story and give the players and GM room for creativity. (For example, Bunnie describing a counterstrike as part of her dodge, and being able to take it as soon as the GM's turn is over, as well as the tag team feature, which is very cool.) That said, I think this mechanic might not work so well with less experienced or less confident players, who might have trouble taking the initiative (heh) to act in combat (I know I certainly would if I wasn't playing with close friends). That's not really a criticism though -- this is a collaborative storytelling game, and part of playing it is making big moves and taking turns guiding the story. If that's not for you, then you might prefer a different system, which is fine! I think this mechanic has the potential to be really, really dope, but I also think it's the bit that has the most potential to go poorly in my eyes.

The art, design, and general aesthetic feel of this game are so unbelievably up my alley. I love it. That's all.

I'm excited to see that they're working on mechanics for playing disabled characters, but since they aren't out yet I can't really comment. (I did notice that the character in the bard art is in a wheelchair, which is dope.) Also, as others have noted, Daggerheart uses "heritage" and "ancestry" rather than "race", which is a small but good choice.

Personally, I also really like the choice to move away from precise measurements of distance and gold. This one is very much a personal preference, and I know some people will rightfully disagree, but I like it! As a DM, trying to determine the appropriate costs and rewards for things has always been a headache, and this seems much easier to manage; measuring distances with convenient and tangible measurements like the short side of a playing card or the length of a piece of paper also feels much easier to use.

The downtime mechanics are great! Each of the activities you can take prompts you to describe how you heal yourself or another, destress, repair armor, or prepare yourself for what's ahead, which really encourages quieter character moments both introspectively and with others. I'm a big fan of this. This combining of role play and mechanics is also present in other features, such as one of the major level 1 healing abilities, which is more effective if you spend the time it takes to cast learning something new about the person you're healing or sharing something about yourself.

I didn't look at this too closely because I was just making a character for fun and don't have a party to play with, but as part of character creation you're given questions about your relationships to your party members to answer. Wanderhome also has these, and they were MASSIVELY successful in creating depth and meaningful connections between players -- after our table's session zero I was already so invested in all our characters, and when we actually played them they really came to life. I haven't looked to closely at Daggerhearts version of this, but I'm very excited to see them.

The experience mechanic seems really fun and creative, and I especially like the idea of using a phrase rather than something specific. That said, when I played the Hollow Knight TTRPG, which also lets players create their own skills, the open endedness of it was more confusing than inspiring, and there was a lot of potential for a usefulness disparity between players. I do think Daggerheart explains it better, though, and limiting the use of experience with a Hope cost helps to counteract any choices that might be too broad, so hopefully it will work better

I probably have more thoughts, but it getting late and I have a headache, so that's all I'm saying for now :D

Overall, Daggerheart has combined a lot of things I've liked in other games with promising mechanics I haven't seen before, and I'm very excited to try it out. I'm now realizing that I just made a list of things I like without any negative feedback, which isn't what I wanted to do, but I'm not really sure what to criticize without having played it myself.

I'm most curious to see how the non-initiative mechanic works; it has the potential to be a really excellent solve for a major problem in D&D (plenty of people have talked about how initiative limits teamwork, can be boring when its not your turn, etc, so I won't get into it here), but I don't think it's a solution that will work for everyone. Of course, games can't work for everyone, and shouldn't try to. It's working really well on CR's oneshot as I write this, but making choices and sharing spotlight in TTRPGs is literally their job, so I'm not surprised this works for them. I could see this going really well with some tables I've played with, and really poorly with others. I'm still really optimistic, though; it seems like the kind of thing that with the right table could be really excellent.

it's more a feeling than anything else. like, something about his demeanor just seems off to me. you know when all your friends know and like this one person and then you meet them for the first time and you just don't get it? very that.

since he's so well loved i felt like i had to like him at first, but i quickly realised i usually only don't mind him in combination with other drivers i like, for example max, and even then he's just not for me.

the whole teeheeing about misogynistic jokes on podcasts and being so wildly ignorant about anything outside of his dude-bro-bubble despite being a grown man who can be expected to possess a reasonable level of critical thinking skills - and know how to use them - also doesn't sit right with me. (and while i am very aware he's by far not the only driver guilty of that, it feels especially prominent in him to me personally.)

[i also feel like people tend to overrate him as a driver. that's not to say i think he's a bad driver, not at all, but after 12 years in f1 resulting in 8 race wins, some questionable career choices and worming his way into a junior team at 34 years old, i'm just. not that impressed. however, i also feel like i have a lot left to learn about the sport and the drivers and am thus not the most qualified to talk about these things especially, so please take this last paragraph with a grain of salt.]

Theory Anon here again! Oh man lol I didn't even remember Henry was sick at all in Italy! It's def been a few years since I read the book, so take everything I think w/ a MASSIVE grain of salt, a whole salt lamp even SO IIRC, Henry and Bunny were childhood friends, weren't they? Or at least, they knew each other longer than the other's in the group knew one another I think? So there's like, an added layer of intimacy between them, so maybe during that time Henry had more resentment for him building up, constantly wanting Bunny OUT of his life but never really getting a well-looked upon chance to do so, but after having killed the farmer it was like, once that door was opened he couldn't shut it again, "Murder is OK!" Henry Winters lol, and maybe he needed Bunny to find the journal so he could tell the /other's/ that Bunny now 100% knows about the murder and they need to get rid of him, which gets them on his side and gets their support to do so ? I was always intrigued by their relationship because everyone who knew them always said they were best friends, and bunny was the closest person to henry and the only one who could make him laugh etc. yet henry always seemed so annoyed with bunny and i did consider there being resentment on henrys part but i came to the conclusion that hes just weird like that. I have seen multiple people say the same as u so maybe im in the wrong here! its just the way i interpreted it

I wholeheartedly believe that the others would have followed along with anything henry said (i think this mainly because thats exactly what they did LMAO) and henry knew this so i dont really see him orchestrating something like this just to convince them bc it wasnt necessary. henry had them in the palm of his hand and he was aware of this fact

I also think that while henry wasnt morally opposed to these murders (and he did feel some sick morbid excitement at carrying them out) he didnt WANT to kill bunny but rather did it because he was an inconvenience and to him it seemed like the best course of action.

I like what you said about the door being open and not being able to shut it again because i do think thats pretty much what happened. Henry said he felt alive for the first time after the events of the bacchanal and he definitely kept seeking that thrill but i think its more a matter of him playing god than not liking bunny (and i do think he cared about bunny)

Giving you my impressions of the s6 islanders so far, so that I can either say “I told you so” or otherwise give you permission to paint my face with clown makeup:

Application 1: Type A

There’s a reason she’s named Type A. People tend to not like type As. Yes, they’re a gem at work, yes, they’re hardworking and organized, but at the expense of others. She’s the bitch of the villa. Our main rival. Cold and calculated. She’s gonna stir the pot, get on our nerves, step on our toes. She’s coming into the villa with a plan and nobody’s going to stop her. If fusebox has a smidge of creativity, they’ll give her a redemption arc and mc will open her eyes, if not - she’ll leave the villa as a villain.

Application 2: Sk8er boi

He is sooo cheeky, I can feel him smirking and checking out the producer lady while being interviewed for the show. He’s a “living my dream” and “you can do whatever you want in your life” kinda person. He’s carefree and noncommittal. A flirt, a massive-massive flirt and he knows it, and he uses it, and it works. Probably a popular guy with his skateboard tricks to those who always wanted a “different”, rebellious, bad boy (?) kinda guy, hence the “situationships”. I’m not saying he’s a bad person, but he’s not gonna be loyal to a fault (unless mc changes him). I think he’s in for a reality check in the villa. I hate to say it, but he lowkey gives a bit Finn… (and yet I still want him lol).

Application 3: Tall gorl

A social butterfly. She’s a hairstylist, so of course she’s got people skills:) She’s the girls’ girl, very warm, very kind, very open and trusting. She jumps head in, straight into relationships and then she doesn’t know how to get out. She says she’s gonna play the field like hockey in the villa, but I highly doubt she’d succeed in that - she’s just too good for her own sake! She’s a good friend and won’t let anyone hurt those dear to her. She speaks her mind, but you know she’s always right. She gives a lot, but doesn’t get much back, I think people use her a lot. Friends to lovers, please and thank you!

Application 4: Jock doode

Jocks. Jocks are a peculiar breed. He can be either a himbo or a douche. There’s literally no in between. “We didn’t end on good terms” - I want to know why that is, what happened, who dumped who, I need the full story. The pottery and nan thing sounds cute, but the “easy-going happy guy” doesn’t really show through his application… Is he masking some past hurt? Is he trying to make me like him? Or is that just who he is? Hmm, I’m watching you Mr Wazowski, always watching. Call me prejudiced, but based on the countless romcoms that I’ve watched, I don’t trust jocks… Well, better to hope for a himbo and prepare for a douche😔

I give a massive side eye to people who go “no dude, I was totally banned for no reason!!”.

I’m sorry, but the majority of people I have seen get banned and then try and pull the “I’m innocent” card are the same people who have tons of wealth that would be excessively hard to get for a player that’s not dumping obscene amounts of irl money into the game… or buying gems from offsite. Like that F from earth with the g1 imp that got banned forever ago. They seem chill af in the g1 hell server, nothing against them personally, but I take every “No believe me I definitely got my millions of gems totally legit!” or “staff banned me just for moving locations!!!” with a microscopic grain of salt. 

I have a decent amount of gems (~250kg), own a few KS items, am constantly on different devices, use my college’s wifi sometimes, use my phone data sometimes, am constantly opening FR at different places, coli for… concerningly long amounts of time, and I haven’t been banned for allegedly buying illegal gems/botting in 8 years of playing.

Staff has even reversed bans before. Didn’t they reverse the ban on that one user who was trying to sell their imp scroll a few years back that got incorrectly flagged? I doubt staff wants to lose long term players over stupid shit, especially if they buy gems regularly.

TLDR: You’re more than likely not going to get banned for moving. Staff knows that the concept of moving houses exists lol.
