Steve finally gets his RV.

It’s not a Winnebago, but it’s nice enough. Sleeps six if two sleep in the bunk above the cab and two sleep on the bed formed by the dinette converting into one.

Eddie comes along, and Steve doesn’t predict that Wayne comes along too. Eddie’s uncle doesn’t want him out of his sight. The government hush money guarantees that Wayne won’t have to work anymore, and Eddie tells Steve he’s glad because Wayne’s back and knees aren’t what they used to be. They don’t have enough room for all of the kids, so this trip is just Dustin. Claudia loves Steve and she trusts him with her Dusty-Bun.

They’d wanted Wayne to take the bed over the cab, but he opts for the couch, saying he doesn’t want to climb the ladder every night. Dustin calls the dinette, so that leaves Steve and Eddie sharing the over-cab bed. At least two of them snore, but they buy earplugs.

They head to Utah so Dustin can see Suzie.

Missouri and Kansas blow by in a blur of excitement. They point out every animal and oddity they see along the way, Wayne smiling at his boy’s enthusiasm.

Colorado is their first taste of the southwest. Eddie buys Wayne a bolo tie with a turquoise stone. Steve buys an amethyst ring for Robin, a rose quartz barrette for Nancy. They pool their money to get a nice southwestern-patterned blanket for Dustin’s mom.

Steve drives them up to Mesa Verde, taking turns as cautiously as possible. Dustin geeks out over the ruins and takes control of the map, ordering Steve from viewpoint to viewpoint like a very pushy tour guide.

The drive into Utah is beautiful. A gradual shift to huge red rocks. Eddie begs him to stop at a roadside attraction called the Hole N” The Rock and they take the tour there.

It takes them a while to get to Susie’s house in Salt Lake City. They stop a few times along the way. Eddie pouts at Steve at a fossil shop and walks away with a weird little fossilized creature that Eddie and Dustin inform him is called a trilobite.

When they get to Susie’s house she’s waiting outside reading a book, but she jumps to her feet when she sees Dustin. He twirls her around and they laugh together and Steve glances at Eddie and thinks that this is what he wanted all along.

Thoughts on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth [2 out of 2]

Refer to part 1 before reading please

The cast has seen improvements all around Brianna White’s Aerith was already an all time performance for the series and it being joined not only by Suzie Yeung’s Yuffie but also by John Eric Bentley’s Barrett was a great surprise and a huge glow up from Remake. It might be too early to tell but between the interview where they told her to tone down her acting because it was too good (her vomiting noises specifically) and the sheer strength of the cast this time around I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the performance of the year at The Game Awards later this year. As for Barrett the main factor is that Rebirth gave Bentley more to work with and he sure took advantage of it delivering a performance worthy of the nuance Barrett deserves. This is not to say the other performances where bad as Cody Christian, Britt Barton, Max Mittelman and Paul Tinto all did great jobs as Cloud, Tifa, Red XIII and Cait Sith respectively or the side characters like Caleb Pierce, Kayli Mills and Piper Reese all did fantastic jobs as Zack, Cissnei and Elena but we would be here for like 8 more paragraphs if I listed every performance[also wanted to drop here Matt Mercer and J Michael Tatum as Vincent and Cid to finish up the main cast].

Gameplay wise it plays like a faster version of what Remake was doing which is just an ATB version of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII’s combat which is to say it plays really good, the game now includes way more commands and allows you to stack even more wacky materia to make your characters as customizable as you can without dropping what made them unique and letting you work with whatever party you vibe with the most (Aerith and Yuffie is the best party and I will die on this hill), the second most important gamemode is the exploration section of the game which unlike 7 Remake or 16 is very open while still filling condensed unlike 15’s huge vastness this one is closer in approach to the always reliable Witcher 3 open world zones but that doesn’t mean it drops the basics of the huge open world trend, like many of its kind Rebirth has the infamous Ubisoft towers, (which hot take but I enjoy in a checklist sort of way) some random busywork and the third gameplay pillar minigames which there are a lot, probably too many to talk about here without making this longer than it needs to (which it already kinda is) but one I do wanna talk about is Queen’s Blood as its questline was a great little distraction with bizarre analogue horror elements that I didn’t expect from the obligatory FF card game at all while also being a somewhat fun game with some interesting strategic depth.

From here on out I’m gonna talk about the ending so skip from here to the conclusion if you want to keep reading spoiler free but otherwise. [First off the second visit to the Golden Saucer is great fun, this time the “date” goes fantastic as you visit Loveless, a beautiful rhythm game and the story of a knight fighting darkness to save his beloved accompanied by some of the best music the game has to offer and topped with a musical performance by Aerith with her singing voice being provided by Loren Allred who performs a gorgeous ballad to close out a contender for moment of the year, and afterwards if you upped your relationship to your date enough you get one of the “intimate endings” which are little character moments between Cloud and whoever he is with that I hope will be revisited in the third game as they are just wonderful. Afterwards we get a slightly better version of the Cait Sith liar reveal during the Dio vs Don Corneo tournament and soon we are, sailing through the Meridian Ocean chasing the turks with the help of Vincent to arrive at the fortress of the ancients, where another moment of the year takes place in the trial, a small section where we essentially make everyone face their worst moments again so that they may be prepared for what comes ahead (special shoutout to Yuffie’s Intermission revisit, it felt crushing in all the right ways),in general things were shaping up great and we were wrapping the most ravishing bow to finish up the gift that was the middle of the VII series, but then suddenly a dog arrived and bit everything, that dog is called the temple of the ancients. That final push started strong with the isolation of Cloud trying to save Aerith from the grim fate she is predestined in the original game and surprisingly succeeding in saving Aerith from fake Sephiroth only for what I can only understand as a convergence of timelines to start happening and switching our Aerith into a different timeline while leaving us with a dead one from another but I will get into that in a second, then everyone is able to arrive and they see the dead Aerith which prompts the start of the bossfight, an interesting detail is that everyone but Cloud starts with their Limit as they are fighting to avenge their dead friend while Cloud still needs to build it up since he is fighting to restore her and prevent Sephiroth from fusing the timeline, in a bizarre way Zack is also there for a bit of the fight until he gets separated into another world again while still being attacked by Sephiroth, what is curious is that for brief moments (synergy attacks in this case) Cloud can join Zack as a sort of projection without entering this dimension fully as well as fighting Sephiroth now in a white void instead of the usual dark one that represents his subconscious even being joined by either the summation of Aerith across all timelines or just our Aerith now aware of her role in all of this to finish the story of Rebirth. At the end we see that everyone Aerith was killed by Sephiroth except for Cloud who is still communicating with her from the other dimension (if he was losing his mind we would have the static and not the rainbow) while everyone else mourns her loss. This leads to the ending cutscene where Cloud and Aerith go their separate ways to finish the story and frankly I kind of hate it, Remake already had a decently open ending that needed some input from the Ultimania (a book about the game that Square Enix releases like a month after the game) to fully get and now it feels like they just doubled down and made the Ultimania a required part of understanding what is going on since everything is just very speculative and borderline impossible to confirm as a thing that actually happened. Maybe it will fix it and an explanation will be available online for people that finished the game to look up but it's still an incredibly scummy way to sell us the Ultimania and a blight in what was otherwise an outstanding game.]

Bringing everything to an end, I really loved this game, despite my issues with some parts of it, it's good to see that like with Remake, VII can carry the franchise while the main series struggles to turn out greatness again. The sheer love that was put into it can be felt all around and the team deserves all the praise they are getting, iIt was a great experience and I can't wait for the final one in a few more years.

Some thoughts on something we saw in S4.

Lots of keyholes and keys. 

Eden’s (Suzie’s sister), keyhole necklace. The keyhole shape clock at Ms Kelley’s house, which also has another curious detail. The number 7 that looks like an upside down 2. Possibly a reference to the two beings in the UD, Henry and the MF, or the days Max had left before the curse killed her. Or both. Also, the patch on Robin’s jacket when they’re at the Creel House. And Ms Kelley’s clock key necklace.

This made me think of two things.

1.  The Ghostbusters reference in S2 and the meaning of the two Venkmans. We know that Byler and Lumax have a lot of parallels and now we've seen both Will and Max being possessed/haunted by Henry/MF. And Steve and Dustin putting a monster in the Byers’ fridge is another clear reference to Dana Barrett, Venkman’s love interest, who saw in her fridge the monster that later possessed her. Will is Mike’s love interest, and he got possessed. 

And you know how the demon Zuul was called: the Gatekeeper. 

A creature that helps its master to invade our world. 

Will’s possession. Zombie boy. The UD shaped at the moment the Demogorgon got him. The parallel with Dana. Him coughing up a demodog that looks a lot like Zuul. Yep.

 2. The mention of stories where there are actual objects that the heroes must find and that can help to save the world

Maybe there aren’t real keys or keyholes and it’s just a hint at what the kids have to do. Spying on Henry, in his mind lair etc.

But at the beginning of S4, Eddie mentions two actual artifacts. The Eye and Hand of Vecna. Plus, in D&D, in order to become an undead, Vecna places his soul in a physical object, a phylactery, that can be destroyed. And if there’s an object that is important to Henry and that we’ve heard basically since S2, is the grandfather clock.

And in the last episode, Lucas is reading The Talisman, a story about a boy who must find magical objects to save his mother’s life.

So I wonder if there are, in our world, actual objects that can be used against Vecna...

Random facts about my Welcome Home OC sisters Lily and Suzie:

-Lily-

-Her design was inspired by a family member’s child (and for privacy reasons that is all I am revealing).

-Hilariously, both her name and her sister’s name refer to the flower ‘Lily’ and their parents were NOT aware of this fact until it was too late. (Not even I was until awhile ago).

-She is about five or six.

-Her favorite colors are pink and blue.

-Her favorite activity is drawing.

-Her best friend is Nate, who is the nephew of Suzie’s friend.

-Is absolutely that only kid in class that has watched Rankin and Bass stop motion and Jim Henson’s Muppets, and not just current animated stuff.

-Is sort of a miracle child because her parents didn’t have children for years between the two sisters. She was born when Suzie was in high school.

-Wally’s nickname for her–‘little miracle’ is because of the circumstances of her birth but mostly because she was the very first viewer he could ACTUALLY see.

-Wally is her favorite WH character. Barnaby or Julie would be a close second.

-If Lily was on the set of Welcome Home during its heyday (supposing that it WAS real of course) she’d either be a lucky audience member or guest child who gets to interact with the characters.

-If she was a puppet, she'd be a very light shade of orange with a bubblegum pink nose.

-Her use of Suzie’s laptop is only limited to how to play episodes of WH. Since she’s still learning to read, she can’t do much else with it.

-Speaking of, she is one of those kids who WASN’T given CGI junk to be distracted with as a toddler. Suzie prevented that from happening.

-Suzie gave her access to the Welcome Home show episodes and helped her get to the website that has them.

-For some reason, Lily was able to be seen by Wally. Had she not responded or called out to him, he would have acted more like how he normally acts in canon towards the sisters.

-She serves as a reminder as to what Welcome Home was intended for to Wally and the others–a show meant for children.

-As seen in a previous drawing, she has been able to sneak Wally in his canonical-sized puppet form to the real world. She has also taken him to school but quickly stopped after he bit someone who tried to take him away from her.

-The only place in the world of Welcome Home that she hasn’t yet visited is Home itself. There’s a reason for that.

-Suzie-

-‘Suzie’ is actually short for her full name ‘Suzannah.’

-Suzie is about twenty/twenty-one.

-Attends a community college where she takes art classes

-Is trying to get a degree that can allow her to work in graphic design or illustrations

-Her dream job would be to either be an illustrator or set designer

-Is part of the campus’ LGBTQ plus club

-Identifies as bisexual and may have dated a girl for a few months during her first year of college.

-If I had a voice for her, it’d possibly be similar to Barrett Wilbert Weed (best known as Vernoica’s actor from the Heathers musical)

-Favorite colors are orange and blue.

–One of her favorite films is Labyrinth. The slight irony of that is not lost on her.

-As revealed in a previous ask, Suzie’s scar was due to a large bird attacking her on accident as a child. She is terrified of large birds because of this, and thus is terrified of Poppy.

-Found the Welcome Home website with episodes (which of course is not canon).

-Like her sister, Suzie favors Wally. Her second favorite character would be Frank or Sally.

-If Suzie was on the set of Welcome Home during its heyday (supposing that it WAS real of course) and worked there, she would be either a set designer or would do art for promotional material. She’s not a good enough character actor to actually voice one of the puppets.

If Suzie was a puppet, she would be a very light shade of orange with a dark pink nose. She would also keep her scar.

-Suzie does find Wally ‘somewhat cute’ but wouldn’t act on anything given that it's genuinely hard to tell what his preferences are. (This is partly because I don’t think it’s entirely confirmed if Wally has any preferences or is asexual just yet as of writing this.)

-Fulfilled the ‘let Wally see by drawing his eyes’ by doodling him.

-It wasn’t shown yet, but she found out that Welcome Home wasn’t exactly a real show after she did a bit more research on it and found little to nothing about it.

-Doesn’t find Wally’s infamous wide-eyed-fourth wall breaking stare creepy. She’s more annoyed by it.

-Wally’s nickname for her would be ‘pretty angel.’ Whether it is a friendly nickname or something ‘a bit more’ hasn’t been decided yet.

-I think that–in addition to her being a good sister and a fellow artist–the fact that she’s assertive and not willing to put up with any B.S. after find out the truth is what makes her interesting to Wally. (Though the fact that he was slightly tricking her up until she found out didn’t help win her over).

-In this AU, Wally is probably about 5 foot 5/6 (not counting his pompadour), so if he was the ‘canonical human size’ then he’d be an inch or two shorter than Suzie.

-Had she did any responses to Wally during an episode and he spoke to her before Lily, it’s likely things would not have gone down well.

-Had she been exposed to OUR version of the Welcome Home website, it’s doubtful she would have let her sister near it.

-While it was a creepy coincidence since I came up with it BEFORE the July 2023 update, the blue flower in her hair for her WH world attire doubles as an important easter egg. Can you guess what it is?

-Like her sister, while she has been able to visit the world of Welcome Home (and stayed far from Poppy’s home for reasons stated already) she has yet to visit Home itself. There is a reason for that.

#86 Mary Anne and Camp BSC: Chapter 13

Karen and her snotty group of friends nearly ruin the camp’s circus performance and the BSC finally gets off their asses and does some babysitting.

We're greeted with this opening, courtesy of Mary Anne: “If the dress rehearsal is a disaster, that means that the show is going to be a success...Because the Camp BSC circus rehearsal wasn't just a disaster, it was a mega-disaster.” Which means one of three scenarios took place:

1. Claire's plan to do a cover of Suzi Barrett's Baloney Dance is blown when she uses real baloney and Dawn flips a shit and spends hours lecturing everyone about the horrors of meat and where baloney really comes from, leaving no time to actually rehearse.

2. Jackie Rodowsky, while spinning for his dance routine, knocks into Jamie Newton, sending him falling to the ground with a bump on his head, punches Charlotte Johanssen in the face, giving her a black eye, then bumps into the barn, causing the whole structure to collapse.

3. Karen and her little group, the kids who went to real circus camp and think they're better than everyone else, aren't prepared for anything and ruin almost every single act with their snotty attitudes and pretentiousness.

Yeah, fairly obvious what happens.

Vanessa's the ringmaster, wearing white jeans tucked into high black rain boots, a red jacket that belongs to her mom and a white t-shirt that says “Ringmaster” on it. Claudia helped her make it, so you just know it's spelled Ringgmastur. She also has a top hat made out of black cardboard and Karen and the real circus camp kids are probably disgusted by it.

Vanessa delivers her monologue, thankfully lays off the poetry but manages to throw in at the end “No matter how things go, I know that you will like our show!” Old habits indeed die hard. First act is the wild animals, and no, it isn't a reality show-esque peek into a Day in the Life of the Pikes.

The trainers are Nicky and Marilyn and both are wearing blue sweatpants and for some reason, sassy t-shirts. Nicky's says Because I'm the Boss, that's why and Marilyn's says I Brake for Chocolate. Maybe they borrowed them from Kristy and Claudia, respectively. The wild animals are Andrew (a tiger), Claire (a lion) and Alicia (a camel). They do animal tricks, including jumping through a hoop with red, orange and yellow crepe paper “fire” and Alicia jumps over some hurdles. Then Jamie steps in and does a tiger dance. I guess Mary Anne forgot to introduce him. The trainers give out treats and the rehearsal is, so far, disaster-free.

Whoops, spoke too soon! The dancing animals are next. Jessi choreographed their dance because that's her one personality trait. Since she's such a good dancer, she made sure to incorporate stuff the kids can do really well into the dance. Stuff we never hear about again, like Margo being able to turn “terrific” cartwheels and Becca's ability to walk on her hands. If you remember our snark on Little Miss Stoneybrook...and Dawn, Jessi said Becca has awful stage fright but I guess that doesn’t count anymore.

Anyway, Becca's dressed as a goat and Margo a bird. The other two kids in it, Hannie and Ricky, obviously have no idea what they're doing, having spent all their time and energy folding their arms and turning their noses up at Camp BSC, bragging that they went to a real circus camp instead of rehearsing. 

And the whole circus begins to unravel. Ricky screws up for the umpteenth time, proclaims that real animals wouldn't be dancing in a real circus anyway, and throws in the towel, Hannie following his lead. Becca asks them what’s the big deal and Ricky says, “No real animal in a real circus would ever do that.” Yeah, well in real life, two 7-year-olds don't get married on the playground to the strains of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star either. So shut the fuck up.

Margo tells them it's their circus and they can do whatever they want. Ricky calls their circus dumb and Margo responds with an “OH YEAH?!?” which makes it sound like she's ready to cut a bitch. Go Margo! 

But before Margo can lay the smack down on Ricky, Vanessa runs in and calls for a curtain, shooing the animal dancers out of the ring before it turns into a bloodbath. Dammit!

As they're ushered away, Becca asks the two snobs, in a “wobbly voice” if they know any of the steps and says in a very roundabout way that they ruined the act. Do the BSC do anything and tell Hannie and Ricky they need an attitude adjustment? No, they just sit there.

The clowns are next - David Michael, Matt, Carolyn, and Natalie. They do clown stuff in clown makeup and wave water guns around. Oh wait. Natalie's the only one not in a costume. Ok, did they all plan this out beforehand like a protest? We'll ruin the circus camp since it isn't a real circus like the one we were in. Kristy stops the music with a slam of her hand...she turns the tape player off, she didn't smash it, though that would have been hilarious. She shouts at Natalie why the hell she doesn't have a costume or makeup on. Yes, be assertive! For once in this godforsaken book.

Natalie responds, “It didn't look like a real clown costume. So I just never finished it.” What the hell? Might I add, Natalie Springer in the Little Sister books is this shy, wimpy girl with droopy socks who gets picked on a lot. She’s been ridiculously out of character this whole book. David Michael defends their costumes, saying they're real but Natalie ignores him. She probably tells herself she doesn't have to deal with this public school scum. Kristy, whose patience is starting to finally wearing thin, orders Natalie to go sit with Mary Anne.

But it doesn't stop there! Natalie keeps bitching on the sidelines, like an angry parent at a Little League game. As the clowns squirt each other with water guns and their makeup runs off, Natalie complains, “The water's making the clowns' makeup run! That's because it's not real clown makeup!” Real makeup still runs, Little Miss Droopy Socks. David Michael, in an amazing move, runs into the audience and dumps oatmeal all over Natalie and angrily tells her that's a real clown trick. 

Go David Michael! Now go dump it on your sister!

Kristy tells them to stay in character and the clowns finish their act, shooting Looks at Natalie the whole time. Can it get worse? It sure can, because guess whose act is next...

Vanessa announces Karen's surprise act - she's going to saw Nancy in half. Oh shit...she wants things to be real? Karen’s going to dismember Nancy!

Getting things off to a very obnoxious start, Karen says in her loudest Outdoor Voice, “THIS WOULD BE BETTER IF WE WERE A REAL CIRCUS CAMP WITH REAL PROPS! But we had to make our own. We hope the audience will understand.” So after the whole clown fiasco, you get this little brat trashing Camp BSC and the BSC themselves for hosting a crappy program. Do the BSC do anything to defend their honor? Of course not, Karen’s their Golden Child! They still sit there and do nothing.

Vanessa isn't standing for it though. She's all WTF because she's supposed to be the one doing the announcements. Uh, Vanessa, Karen tends to do whatever she wants when she's performing. Just look at her class Thanksgiving play. Karen fires back by insulting Vanessa's outfit, saying she looks like a bandleader in a parade, not a ringmaster, because she's holding a baton. WEAK. Vanessa, much like her sister, looks like she's about ready to attack Karen but instead explodes with “Cut it out, you two! Or you will soon be through!”

Karen then rolls her eyes at Vanessa. Whoa, that takes guts. I would never roll my eyes at a kid older than me when I was 7! She sticks Nancy in a cardboard box and soon there's thumping inside after Nancy climbs in. Oh no, she filled it with rabid badgers, who are now attacking Nancy!

Oh wait. No badgers. Two strange, lumpy legs appear out of one end and Nancy pokes her head out of the other one. Logan cracks up and Mary Anne tells us that they're stockings stuffed with toilet paper. Geez, Karen. I thought you were going for accuracy and real-ness. The legs wiggle to show that it's really Nancy and Karen pulls out a small saw, which she holds high in the air. 

Oh, NOW the babysitters react! They all jump up when they see Karen holding a saw but they wouldn't say anything when she was being rude to everyone? Kristy demands to know where she found it. Surprised and sheepish, Karen says she found it lying around in the barn. Nice, BSC! You're hosting a camp for little kids and didn't think to look around the barn for anything dangerous like a SAW?!

Also just need to echo a commenter from when I posted this on LJ. I don’t want to hear the BSC gush over how intelligent and gifted and smart Karen is again when the dumbass brought a REAL SAW to her circus performance, thinking it would be ok.

Kristy asks Karen what possessed her to use a real saw in a circus act and Karen responds with, I kid you not, “Pretend to saw people in half. Kristy! This is a REAL saw because you need REAL things if you are going to have a REAL circus!” No contractions, as always. And who the hell does she think she is, giving that attitude to her older sister, while in a subtle way insulting the BSC? I’m surprised Kristy didn’t do this:

Actually, I’m not surprised. No matter if it’s a BSC book or a Little Sister book, Karen Brewer is always getting away with murder.

Kristy takes a moment to collect her thoughts, then FINALLY says something to Karen and the circus snobs. It took you this long, Kristy? And even what she says is weak: “Karen, I'm glad you and your friends went to circus camp. But that doesn't mean you know everything about circuses. And let me tell you, a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.”

What the hell? Does the BSC not believe in yelling? Where's the, “Look, you guys have been nothing but rude and mean to everyone here, including me and the other sitters. Just because you went to circus camp doesn't mean you know everything. You owe us all apologies because you’ve ruined the circus performance.” There, I wrote Kristy's dialogue, thank me for my help in preparing the manuscript, Ann Martin!

Karen, ever the “it's my way or the highway” type, frowns at Kristy's words of wisdom. What a little brat! Mary Anne then finds her backbone: “Everyone who was at the circus camp learned things. But true performers always do what they are supposed to do. And you guys haven't done that. Now it looks like the circus might not go on.” Ok, she managed to get some guilt-tripping in there but why are they lobbing softballs? They don't have to pull them all over their knees and spank them but at least let them know what they did was wrong and has put the circus performance in jeopardy!

One of Nancy's "legs" falls out, breaking the awkward silence and the sitters laugh at it. And FINALLY, Karen says she's sorry. Nancy too. Yeah, you guys practically destroyed the circus and put a damper on the whole camp and now you say you're sorry? God, this book just made me hate Karen more than I already did. Kristy assures everyone that they'll try and salvage what they can in time for the performance and tells Karen ominously, “We'll talk later.” Which translates to “I'm going to give you another weak talking-to about how you should behave, then we'll tell Watson the Millionaire, he won't punish you and he’ll find a way to reward you somehow.”

The other real circus acts are failures too. Bobby and Chris do a high-board act, which they obviously didn't practice. Hannie and Linny attempt to have Noodle the Poodle do tricks - that falls apart too because Noodle won't listen to any of their commands. Linny tries explaining it away with “A real circus dog...um, takes a long, long time to train, I guess.” Was he not paying attention to what Kristy and Mary Anne just said? Well, he's made to look like a fool in front of everyone and all the Circus Snobs have been put into their places. Somewhat.

The BSC realize they have their work cut out for them between now and tomorrow, so Kristy calls an ~EMERGENCYMEETINGOFTHEBSC~ and they huddle together after telling the kids to sit down with their partners and be quiet. For the first time in, well, forever, Kristy asks the BSC “What are we going to do?” Since this is a BSC book, they all have ideas for how to save the circus. Mallory has an idea to fix the dog act, Mary Anne has an idea to change around Karen and Nancy's act and Logan says he'll fix up the high-board one. The show will go on!

The Babysitters' Club adaptation on Netflix fucks so supremely hard

One Jason Van Glass will be attempting to do 10+ hours of improv at The Clubhouse this coming Wednesday.

That might be breaking some kind of record. Even if it’s not, it’s an impressive feat to take on and he’s doing it for a great cause (collecting donations for the Southern Poverty Law Center) AND will have a great line-up of fellow improvisers joining him throughout throughout the whole run.
