surely cutting THIS out of my life cold turkey will be the magic key to fix everything
#every day I see people pledge to go on diets or weed breaks or what else#and surprise surprise it doesn't solve their underlying problems and just adds new ones#it's this weirdly medieval idea that any woe can be fixed by limiting yourself to the right restrictive diet#from Jordon Peterson to Ficino and even earlier still#yes go work out and drink raw milk or whatever it is they're pushing now#surely this act of self flagellation will cause the divine to absolve you#and before the piss on the poors find this#im not saying working out is medieval or cant be helpful
