#keese draws #oc art #oc #pmd #pokemon #pokemon mystery dungeon #pmd oc #these guys are inspired by my usual pokerogue team #oh also imagine a question mark after every he/him I have the trans woman beam pointed at all of them #these are just initial concepts for the actual characters themselves now that I’ve developed the world a lil bit #but yeah these 4 were childhood friends who wanted to be in an exploration team together but had to split up for years #tart and quart both had to move away and cart ended up leaving his hometown to try and become a real adventure a few months later #cart and bart remained in contact for a few years before cart got caught up in some crime circles #he was incredibly trusting when he was younger so he got taken advantage of and ended up digging himself a deeper hole in an attempt to be #manipulative back and eventually he got scared enough that he tried to reach out to a guild and acted as a spy for them in turn for them #eventually helping to clear his name and allowing him membership #there were parts of the deal that were unfair and kind of shady but he was desperate enough to pretend he didn’t notice #after he joined he started immediately putting out listings for new team members and he fully planned on being super picky #but when two of his childhood friends applied he was over the moon about it #and immediately accepted both of them #now quart also applied because he had recently ran away from his old life and was desperate to have a new one #and he missed his old friends deeply so when he saw one of them actually managed to start building the team they all wanted to make he was #quick to apply even if he was rusty as hell on normal non contest combat #cart didn’t recognize him at first and mostly only let him have a trial run because he thought it was funny that an eevee of all things was #applying for a high level exploration team and he fully planned on telling quart off immediately afterwards #this ofc made quart very upset and angry but he didn’t try to clairify who he was because he just assumed that time had made cart into an #asshole which isn’t wrong per say but quart didn’t realize cart didn’t recognize him #it was a rough trial expedition but cart found himself actually quite impressed with quart’s slight of paw skills and his impressive biting #speed so he decided to give quart a real chance instead of a mocking one #eventually quart laughs for the first time around him and that makes cart realize who he is and that makes him feel horrible

I work really hard to keep my trauma from making me lash out at people. I'm aware in the worst way possible of how you can fuck people up by not working through your trauma and I know I'm not exempt from that, so I'm always trying to make sure I'm not fucking others [and myself] over like that.

But it's hard to tell sometimes, being as isolated as I am, what reactions are just trauma-based and what reactions are more stable and something to listen to more. It's not like I can ask most of the people around me [who aren't supportive] for feedback.

Which means some things I just have to puzzle over and endlessly wonder if my knee-jerk thoughts have any weight beyond my bad experiences.

It makes me wish we had a Trauma Jury, where traumatized folks could talk about situations and explain what they're feeling and other traumatized folks could advise them on how to handle it. So even people like me who don't have regular trusted people to talk about trauma-related situations with could have some help from other non-therapist people.

thank u! i mostly use ibis paint x and sometimes clip studio paint too! :D

i don't think i'm much of a pro to be out there telling on beginners but, if you're looking to improve in certain aspects, i'd recommend studying art fundamentals. i like searching for tips on youtube and i personally love watching pikat's videos; they give pretty solid, good advices for studying art :)

overall, i think the most important part about drawing is having fun, as cliche as this sounds, it's true. stressing over your art might actually bring down the quality of it, so don't worry so much about making masterpieces! do what you like! ^_^

#i wish i could at least afford to get noise cancelling headphones #those wont completely help me or solve my issues #i live in a place that is way too active for me who get so easily overstimulated by noise #like.. im like actually falling apart and im incapable of functioning like a normal person under these conditions lmao #i was abt to go into another rant abt it but theres no use i need to accept the situation #all i can do is to work towards a place where i have a job and money so i can move cities and apartments when i need to #this noise is killing me...#ear plugs dont work completely + it's not good for your ears to have smth inside of them all the time #trust me..... horrible things can happen to your ears 🥴#but noise cancelling headphones is better than being broken down by noise #then i could listen to ambience while studying/reading and music while on walks #i prefer natural silence :((( like soft noises in the environment #plus that isnt unhealthy for your ears... but it isnt possible bc im constantly on such high alert #and overstimulation bc CONSTANT FKN NOISE!!!!!!!!#then the alternative of listening to smth on noise cancelling headphones is better #but i cant afford it at all :(#the cheapest ones i can find are a little bit over 1/3 of my monthly food budget 🥴#and i ofc want them to be good enough that they work...#i dont wanna buy smth cheap that the quality is super bad or they break immediately #UGHHHHHHH i hte everything im considering just going deaf #but i wanna listen to music :(( and listen to threats. i dont wanna be deaf no #i just want some fkn peace and quiet

I mean, I like Daigo and Y3 but it's undeniable that a lot of the reason of MineDai being small is cuz Mine, Daigo and Y3 are generally unliked? Not like hated but like just not liked down upon the bigger side of the fandom.
