Idea: Mario and Luigi offer to teach Meggy how to use power-ups, since I'm pretty sure she actually hasn't used any before(outside of maybe Mario Kart items).

-They start out with a fire flower since it's similar enough to bomb-style Splatoon sub-weapons and burns are easier to deal with than frostbite(so no ice flower yet)

-Mario's a surprisingly good teacher

-Luigi brought a fire extinguisher because he Knows these two

-Meggy's surprisingly very interested in the whole costume change aspect(just because she wears the same outfit all the time doesn't mean she isn't just as invested in Fresh Fashion as every other Inkling)

-Maybe Emmy shows up to watch idk yet

🌸Meet Blossom!🌸

She is Mario and Peach's daughter😌❤️🩷 She's about 3 years old here. While she has her mother's eyes and nose, she takes on her dad's shortness🤭

I gave her red hair as a callback to when Peach's hair used to be red/ginger. I have to flesh out her personality more, but she is going to take on some of a mix of both parents' personalities😌

With her being the daughter of two Star Children, she will find out at some point just how powerful she really is when she realizes her dad's firebrand and mom's white/heart magic are coursing within her!✨️🔥

Hopefully, I can draw out some family pieces of her and her parents soon❤️🩷🌸

I was looking back through some concept art, and this particular picture on the wall caught my eye:

Here we have Mario and Luigi (pre-stache, probably in middle school) in front of the statue of liberty, with Luigi holding Mario in a playful headlock while Mario looks annoyed.

This got me thinking about how, despite being the most anxious of the two brothers, Luigi is shown as the most prone to prodding and teasing his sibling.

This is such a testament to how completely safe and at home he feels around Mario. I mean, even with other members of his family Luigi tries to be as agreeable and unintrusive as possible to the point that he can barely get a bite to eat at the dinner table.

But with Mario he can be truly himself: a little mischievous, a little annoying, and very physically affectionate.

My friends and I were talking about Mario being afraid of anything with portraits or (maybe mirrors?) considering he's been trapped not once, twice, but THREE times now. I think he'd have major PTSD moments and a little paranoia haha.

CoS: Thanks for asking. Yes, I am aware that in the current canon of the games, the Koopalings are not considered kids of the Koopa King anymore, but his loyal minions instead. I am aware this change was made around the time of Super Mario Sunshine, along the debut of Bowser Jr., more than 20 years ago. And No, I don't give s**t about it.

(Ofc, I'm talking about my personal Headcanon :P I love the current canon Koopalings and their personality, and I love them in any type of hc, be they Bowser's kids or not x3)

Thinking about how the force of Bowser's flames was strong enough to physically push Luigi backwards and that the heat was intense enough to melt steel.

Thinking about the look on Luigi's face the entire time, how hard he was struggling and how much pain he was in (that manhole cover was red hot, you can not tell me he wasn't being actively burned.)

But despite everything, Luigi gives his brother his best attempt at a smile, and recites with perfect clarity the reassuring words Mario told him three days ago when they were first separated.

"Nothing can hurt us as long as we're together." I am exploding

Look at how Mario has his hand practically engulfing Luigi's shoulder. Yes, Luigi has his arms around Mario too; but the way Mario is holding his bro is giving off such protective vibes. As if he's readying himself to spin them both around so he takes the brunt of the hit, and Luigi is safe.
