Suiryu x Chubby Reader

Summary: Never in a hundred years did you expect a man like him to like you.

Suiryu loved women. Loved to flirt and play. 

He went on more dates already than any other man of his age.

But as soon as he saw you, that all changed.

You were one of the nurses who helped him after Saitama saved him. He was at the hospital for a few days. Almost all of his bones were broken, so he couldn't do much.

Of course, other nurses offered to help him, since they all found him handsome. But he didn't care, from the moment he saw you, you were all he wanted to treat him.

How you met him was by pure chance. A colleague of yours called in sick last minute so you had to take over their patients, and one of those was Suiryu. The moment you locked eyes with him, you knew you were going to like him. But you kept your professionalism and delivered what was expected of a nurse. Even if he kept on flirting and joking with you, you never crossed any boundaries.  

And even though you were a bit shy around him, your duty was to help. 

"I don't know why you insist on me feeding you Suiryu, you are all healed now."

"I know. But I really enjoy your company Y/N." you smiled and feed him another spoonful of his lunch. "And tomorrow, when I'm going to be let off, I will ask you on a date. Think of your answer before please." he said. It didn't really shock you, you knew he was a flirt, but the fact that he chose you out of all the nurses, did. 

Tomorrow came quicker than you expected. As Suiryu was let go, you said your goodbyes at the front of the hospital.

"Be safe please."

"Knowing that such an amazing and kind nurse is waiting for me here is very tempting, but I do not plan on getting hurt. I plan on becoming a real hero, and man deserving you." you blushed a little.

"I like your soo Sui."

"So, will you go on a date with me?"

"Yes, I will." he was so happy, his smile lit up the whole entire world. 

"I will pick you up tomorrow when you shift ends. See ya'!" he said as he turned to leave. You were a bit disappointed that he left so quickly, but you were looking forward tomorrow. 

But before you could turn around Suiryu was right in front of you as he pecked your lips. He gave you a wink and waved goodbye.

You only stood there frozen. And you would probably still stand there if it wasn't for one of your colleagues yelling at you that your break is over.

ϟ Zombieman:

⌗ At first he would be surprised to hear that about you, he thinks that these are things that are said on the first date, but that doesn't bother him, the truth is, he didn't care about that fear you had.

⌗ Which he did immediately, when he heard you complain. Before sleeping with you, he would finish smoking his cigarette, thinking about what he did and how it affected you.

⌗ You would be mad at him for doing that. To which he apologized, hugging you tightly, whispering in your ear that he wouldn't do it again.

ϟ Stinger:

⌗ He would be attentive to what you said to him, he could be someone quite loud and energetic. But when it came to you, he gave you his full attention and was much calmer than usual.

⌗ Unlike Zombieman, he wouldn't try to show that fear, he wouldn't have doubts about you. I would believe you instantly.

⌗ But be careful, this young man, he hears that someone is making fun of you, because of your fear of the dark. You will have problems and many problems.

⌗ I would buy you a small lamp, you plug it in and it will shine all night. He wants to make a good impression on you. Though he had to admit the light was annoying, it kept him from sleeping.

⌗But seeing you resting, he couldn't help but smile. You went first, in the end he ended up sleeping with a pillow on him.

ϟ Garou:

⌗ At first he didn't pay attention to what you said to him. I would just say "yes, of course". He's busier reading the hero manual.

⌗ It was until they both went for a walk together one night, they were both very happy. But unfortunately there was a blackout. Leaving everything in the dark.

⌗ At that moment, you clung to Garou as much as you could, holding his hand tightly, your breathing was becoming heavy. Of course he realized all that, it was that he immediately remembered when you told him about your fear of the dark.

⌗ He may show a disinterested face when you tell him about it, but that would certainly not be the case. In his interior he would be thinking of the thousand ways in which he could help you overcome that fear or carry it.

⌗ I would have patience and absolute understanding with you.

⌗ When the two of you are in the room together, I would leave a lit candle on the bedside table. I didn't want you to be scared, so I would do my best to keep you as calm as possible.

⌗ But you would tell him that it is not necessary to put a candle, it would already be dangerous. Which would force him to install small lights throughout the house and obviously in his room.

⌗ He would fall asleep after you, he would wait for you to fall into the arms of Morpheus to make sure there were no problems.

ϟ Suiryu:

⌗ When you told him that you were afraid of the dark, he would think that was very sweet of you, as well as childish. But he would still take the matter seriously.

⌗ Although he seems quite carefree, he really is. He would be worried about you, he is someone with a lot of money, so he would have lights on all over his house. Of course trying not to be so bright as to let him sleep.

⌗ He always told you not to be afraid, that he was there for you and protected you. He is a martial artist after all, so you shouldn't have to worry about anything.

⌗ They slept with the door open, so that the light came in and illuminated the room, that made you feel safer.

⌗ I would tell you about your fear, maybe that way I would help you even a little.

⌗ Maybe he wouldn't hug you a lot when sleeping, it's not because he's not affectionate, but because he moves a lot when he's sleeping. But I would be attentive to your needs.

ϟ Charanko:

⌗ Charanko is a dough, without a doubt she would be the one who cares about you the most. I would treat you like a little child.

⌗ I would ask Silver Fang if he had any knowledge on the subject and if he could help him. Which Bang simply shook his head and advised him to investigate, as well as offer you his full understanding.

⌗ It would be reported as you have no idea. Damn it's so cute with you.

⌗ It would prevent you from seeing things that are scary, such as horror movies and stories of that style. Nothing to see scary things, no sir.

⌗ I would buy many little lights, to put on. That way you would be safe and you would feel good or at least that's what I thought.

⌗ I would give you lots of little kisses before going to sleep, while telling you that if something happened, don't hesitate to wake him up, as he loves you very much and wants you to be well in all areas.

Metal Bat: Metal Bat can’t stray far from his little sister, for more than one reason. He has to be there to protect her if necessary, and she’s a bit of a bossy-pants so whatever she says goes. And because of this, Bad has to have his little breakfast-in-bed surprise be at home, when Zenko is at school. He ravishes them with attention, more than usual since they rarely get time alone like this. He puts on a movie, tries not to burn the eggs and bacon, and always brings a small present along with him. This time, it’s a little teddybear. Cliche, he knows, but it’s something he’s always imagined buying them as a small gesture of his love.

Suiryu: Suiryu was hoping to win the tournament so he could lavish his s/o in the fanciest of vacations and expensive gifts. But after recovering from his attack at the hands of Bakuzan, Suiryu is humbled by his encounter and decides to enjoy life for what it offers him now, in the present. Luckily for him, it’s him and his s/o’s anniversary the next day, so sets out to make a grand breakfast for them both to enjoy together. He revels in the way his s/o’s eyes light up at the sight of the food and him, squealing with happiness. He’s learned that the small things are important, while money and fame can come after.

Saitama: This man is so goddamn lazy that even when he plans a breakfast in bed for his s/o, he orders the entire thing in (he can and will Postmate everything, right down to the orange juice). Saitama and his s/o usually wake up later than most, so he sets the delivery to be brought at around 10:30 or 11am. It’s right on time, and he carries everything to the bed, where a couple things are nearly spilled. His s/o flips to their favorite game show and they sit together giggling and enjoying themselves. Saitama doesn’t need a special occasion to treat his s/o like royalty, he kinda does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. :)

Amai Mask: Oh yeah, it’s gonna get fancy. Amai Mask spares no expense for his s/o’s birthday, and that means a glorious breakfast-in-bed at the fanciest hotel he can get. Not only is it a suite overlooking the beautiful City C, but it’s got every amenity they love. All Amai Mask has to do is give the call and the food is already on its way to them, being delivered right in front of them without him having to move a muscle. While they wait, the handsome boi takes this moment to give them a few gifts he picked out that they had shown interest in earlier before (oh yes, he listens and is observational). Once the food is there, it’s all smiles as the most relaxing birthday ever begins for Amai Mask’s s/o.

yoooo i'm super tired and exhausted rn but a random thought just occurred to me. i finished one punch man recently and - i 👏need 👏 content. seriously, i was scrolling through the opm tags and i hardly found much opm x reader fics for some of my favourite characters.

it's been on my mind to start writing for another fandom but i was apprehensive since i don't want to write anything else until i've finished posting all of my zuko x reader requests.

but... i figured it wouldn't be too much to announce that i'm willing to start taking requests. the wait time to posting may be a bit long but i'll definitely make it up to you my opm readers. 💞

@yonkochi​ Hi there, uhm I’m not sure what post that would be, must have been a very long time now. I have no energy to do any digging for sources or old posts in my current condition, but I can mention a few things that might be related to what you expected to find, and maybe someone else who sees the post will have the sources at hand or some clarifications to add and stuff!

Here goes:

- So, I remember that some time ago, ONE said on their twitter that they were ok with people shipping Saitama x Genos, or that they were ok with fanworks of that kind, or something among the lines.

- I can’t talk about Mob Psycho 100 because I’ve only watched the 2 anime seasons, but regarding One Punch Man, it seems very obvious that both ONE and Murata seem more than ok with queer people in general, as there isn’t only a lot of fanservice of all kinds but also a few canon queer characters in OPM (even if a couple of them aren’t precisely the best representation the LGTB+ community could get, but still, there are a couple others that are perfectly fine).

- There is also the fact that on many occasions, when the fans have gotten pushy asking if Saitama x Fubuki or Saitama x Tatsumaki (or Genos x the girls) is going to get confirmed already, Murata’s reply has always been “OPM is not a romance manga”. Hilarious that every single time there seems to be “romance” in OPM or characters crushing after someone, it’s pretty queer instead... to name a few examples:

---- Those male B Class Heroes crushing after Zombieman (during the first attack of the Monster Association, only in the manga, this scene was not in the anime or the webcomic). Ok, this scene doesn’t really confirm that those guys are gay for Zombieman, he’s really cool and there are many reasons to get overwhelmed in his presence, but still, in Murata’s and ONE style we never really see characters making those kinda faces unless they are crushing on someone or drunk XD

---- Lily crushing after Fubuki real bad

---- Mentioning that Okamaitachi and Puri are queer, just for the record. 

---- *WEBCOMIC SPOILERS* Feather thinking Erika is in love with him just for her to be like “Actually I have this giant crush on Tatsumaki you see”. Sorry Feather, you are a good lad, but that’s how things are ha ha.

- I know Amai and Genos and some others have many fangirls and I know Suiryu fucks his fangirls now and then but that’s it, crazy fangirls and hetero men acting like pigs are the only instance of hetero people existing in the world of OPM and it’s kind of refreshing to have the heteros be on the end of the jokes and ridicule and criticism so often instead of the gays (with the exception of Puri, of course).

I hope I worded this all nicely enough but to any readers, a friendly reminder that not only I’m dictating most of this and editing without hands is hell, English is not my first language.
