DDLC+ repurposing its intentionally kind of shallow characters into normal human beings for the Side Stories felt KINDA weird at first, but I came to really dig the shift in priorities, man!

Them rewording the “write the way into their heart!” slogan from the og into something suggesting more genuine self discovery as the point of the story over FEEBLE visual novel romance I thought was especially powerful <3
