“Don’t be like that, Cissa, You can’t tell her!” Stefan’s rolled his eyes, as amused as he was by the younger girl’s excitement to finding out that he finally had Andromeda’s ring made. He could have kept it a secret of course, he had tried to, but when she asked him if he had received the ring yet he couldn't lie to her -- especially because even if he tried, he knew she would see right through him. Elodie, Bella and Cissa had all insisted they help find the perfect ring for Meda, and despite his protests, he had been outnumbered and he had given in to the wishes of his sisters. Narcissa usually kept her calm in most situations but not so much for this, which he understood, the elation he felt too was beyond anything he had known before. “She will love it.” she told him with a wide smile on her features, before she carefully handed the ring back to him. “Well, she should, you chose it.” he responded teasingly. “It was a group effort.” she insisted but they both knew she had the upper hand last week -- Elodie was too soft to even let her opinions known, and Bella knew nothing much about jewelry really, except making crazy human bone pendants apparently. He tilted his head to one side, the exasperation at her words obvious on his features, which gained a laugh from the younger woman. He was so glad that she was going to officially be his sister soon enough. “Thank you for helping.” He knew he would still be making choices wanting things to be perfect and losing his mind thinking about if he was doing something wrong had it not been for her, all of them -- this would after all, be one of the most important days of his life. He wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. “You are right, she will love it.” he had no doubt in my mind that Andromeda would say yes, and when she did, he will be the happiest man in the world.
