AHHHHH!!! FNAF CONTENT!!!
Have my art project!! Over 16 hours of work for this. I'm so happy with how it turned out!
The project was to do a sequence of drawings from most static to most dynamic. I got to use what medium and what subject to do so of course I went to my roots of FNAF digital art. And Bonnie of course is my favorite!
Here are the panels individually:

How Water Droplets Charge Up
Tumblr media
Rubbing a balloon on your hair can build a significant electrical charge. Water droplets have the same issue when they slide across a hydrophobic, electrically-insulated surface.  (Image credit: D. Carlson; research credit: A. Ratschow et al.; via APS Physics) Read the full article

There's no middle or neutral option. Which one calls to you? Which is more fun? Which do you find easier? Whatever your criterion is.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?
for dungeons meshis please
Hello my beloved partner, thank you for the ask!! <3
So, I have a bit of a confession to make. I ship Laios x Marcille--but only in the Golden Country.
Marcille is seen in the fandom largely as two things: the Complainer, and Falin's soulmate. While neither is wrong, I don't think she can really be both of these at the same time.
Marcille is, ultimately, a character who wants. She wants decent food. She wants Falin to return to the school. She wants her friends to outlive her. She wants Donato back.
Falin is the antithesis of this. Where Marcille has a foot in both Elven and Gnomish magic, Falin falls squarely on the Gnomish side. Instead of constructing a perfect dungeonarium, she fills her jar with the perfect conditions to let a dungeonarium construct itself. And when she finds her life is at its end, Falin accepts this, and simply does what she can to send her friends to safety.
Laios, on the other hand, has a lot of desire. He wants to eat monsters, for one. But more than that, he wants to exert his will upon the concept of monstrosity. In the back of his book he has sketched out his idea of what a perfect monster would be, and he fantasizes about designing a dungeon's economy to make most efficient use of its monsters.
He isn't static, of course. At its heart, the story tries to interrogate desire, and asks whether desire is an okay thing to have, and if/in what ways it is different from love. Falin loves spirits, and Laios loves and desires monsters, and ultimately he must grapple with the difference between those two things.
If Marcille grows, if she separates her desire from her love and weighs the two against each other, then she will have gone through her character arc and come out the other side a foil to Falin. But if she doesn't grow, if she doesn't change, if she spends eternity stagnating, Laios makes the most sense.
He is the default option, isn't he? They are the leading man and woman, and that's how these things usually go. The idea of never losing your loved ones is not so far off from the idea of a monster so perfect it can never be defeated. They do seem interested in each other in the Golden Country too. She blushes at his compliments, he uh.. is reminded of her by talk of milk. And they do have interpersonal chemistry--in fact it's the driving force of the series. And all it would take for Marcille to have a perfect happy eternal life with Laios is to not grow as a person, to keep her flaw of always always always wanting.
So Marcille complains, and that is her fatal flaw, which she must overcome in order to love things as they are, while she still can. And when she does this she will become Falin's soulmate and ideal partner. But before they can make a good couple Marcille must accept--and love--Falin for the precious mortal human she is.

Quote
The inherent tendency of the State is to concentrate, to narrow, and monopolize all social activities; the nature of revolution is, on the contrary, to grow, to broaden, and disseminate itself in ever-wider circles. In other words, the State is institutional and static; revolution is fluent, dynamic.

Fave J/C moment?? 👀
Whoa Nelly! No but o'course I adore all the choice moments where they hold each other's gazes, touch each other (hehe RESPECTFULLY OF COURSE), flash blisteringly-large smiles, or have dinner together- They're all awesome buuuut I can't really pick a favourite! So hard! I'm a weirdo and I latch onto things like when they both step into frame, cooperating in sync, without saying a word. The way they are conveyed, particularly in regard to their shapes within the screen, signify trust, comfort and a feeling of unity; and when they stand together I know everyone is on board.

^^^^^ SIGHhhh SO PRETTY I yearn over their relationship a lot, regardless of romance or not. Ideally, I'd like them to get together, but sometimes that doesn't unfold rapidly or without turbulence. Relationships demand respect, trust and friendship. They have those qualities and more, and those boundaries are at times challenged, and I think that makes them more complex and realistic.

Water Reduces Coffee's Charge
Tumblr media
Grinding coffee beans builds up electrical charge as the beans fracture into smaller and smaller pieces. A few drops of water, though, could cut the charge and improve the brew. (Image credit: N. Van; research credit: J. Harper et al.; via APS Physics) Read the full article

the way the storytellers in rimworld handle difficulty is so frustrating, as someone who really can't stand the combat but wouldn't mind stickier versions of the game. it would be nice to have a storyteller that doesn't throw raids at you as the primary escalation of difficulties, but will push the environmental issues more: more diseases, more blights, more hostile wildlife, more fires. more intracolony issues!
like, just getting a stable food pipeline set up for a large colony in the winter is plenty challenging and interesting, you don't *need* combat to have things to do, but so much of rimworld's "gameplay" centers around it, to my sorrow

idr if they ever actually say all the red liquid on lopah *is* blood but i like 2 think it is. altho w/ the fact it is the land of pulse and "haze" that implies a blood mist. which means blood rain could potentially be a thing in certain places there, if the topography allows it. i imagine lopah with mountainous regions so itd be more possible in my mindpalace. sidenote i cant get by thinking abt lopah w/o thinking about the game iron lung..
on the note of like i guess planet phenomena. love the idea of artificial geysers on daves planet that r like pipes & shit. also find the visual of a large lava whirlpool very cool, & cascading lava waves with a kind of tidal system that submerges/exposes diff areas temporarily... could be due 2 gravitational pull of prospit/derse/skaia depending on the rotation of the planet, or could be due to somethin mechanical on the planet itself. idk its fun to think of planets in da game as dynamic things instead of rly static environments
wish we got 2 learn more abt ppls quests & land's innerworkings bc rose's quest involved bringing back aquatic life 2 her planet, lowas has fireflies, jade's has hummingbirds, etc... so like. all sorts of shit could go on there w other ppls planets if it's relevant 2 their questlines... lots 2 think about
