Welcome to Otasune Week 2020! This fandom event will run from August 1st to 7th. Each day of this week will have a specific prompt. With the announcement being today, that means everyone has approximately a couple months to work on a week’s worth of content. Click below the cut for more info!

Rules

1. Tag your content as #Otasune Week 2020 (or without spaces on Twitter). @ing us would be appreciated as well. We will like and reblog everything created for the event!

2. While fan art and fan fiction are inevitably the most common mediums for events such as these, fan works of any kind are allowed.

3. Only SFW content is allowed. If you produce NSFW content anyway, we will ignore it. Otherwise, most anything is allowed within reason. Triggering content in detail, such as gore, will not be promoted by this blog. Please warn for content dealing with any heavier topics.

4. Related characters such as Sunny, Raiden, Meryl, or whoever you want can be included in any works. Just keep the focus on Otasune!

Prompts

Prompt 1: Nature. Depict characters in the great outdoors!

Prompt 2: Blooming. Do you think love can bloom, even on a battlefield? This prompt is intended to portray Snake and Otacon growing closer in their relationship with each other.

Prompt 3: Protection. For this prompt, you might portray one character protecting another or characters protecting each other.

Prompt 4: Family. Focus on the familial dynamic. This can obviously focus specifically on Snake, Otacon and Sunny, but including characters such as Raiden or focusing on how just two people can make a family together would fit the prompt as well.

Prompt 5: Tension. This could range from an argument or (so long as it remains PG-13) sexual tension. Interpret it as you will, but so long as it can fall under some definition of tension, it counts.

Prompt 6: Travel. Whether on the road during Philanthropy era or all across the world in the Nomad, portray characters on some form of travel.

Prompt 7: Memories. With this prompt, allow characters to reminisce on the past, ranging from fluff to angst to anything in between, depending on your personal preference.

I'm so glad I discovered just how quiet and accurate standard velocity ammunition is out of my 452 Lux. Finally giving up on the idea of suppressing this rifle saved me a lot of time and money.

So I have a friend that is an Assistant Forest Ranger (or Ass. Ranger I like to say). Well over the last two years she became good friends with a ground squirrel during her coffee breaks, and named her Sugarbush.

One day she texted me yet another delightfully cute picture of Sugarbush With Her Own Tiny Ass SQUIRREL SIZED COFFEE CUP!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I made her a Sugarbush vector graphic so she can make tshirts or maybe a coffee mug…we’ll see, I have another special one in the works for the mug *shhhhhh*

*Sugarbush does not get to taste the sweet sweet joy of coffee, just nuts, in case you were wondering
