blocked by OP of course so I will post my response here thanks to @shoutydwarf for the reblog!
I'm the user OP is talking about and let me start off by saying as an abuse survivor myself, it is very problematic the implication that I am somehow engaging in any form of victim apologism and/or attacking an abuse victim as that is not ever something I would actively engage in privately or otherwise.
With that being said, the reason why the egg allergist community exists is specifically because of fans like OP, a self-appointed judge and jury who spends their entire 24 hours a day outright attacking, harassing and muzzling anyone who even so much as says anything slightly negative about a fictional character that they personally enjoy and have put their entire personality into defending online. Whew I wish black female characters had shooters like this... anyhow
OP has engaged in very problematic and racist behavior in the not so distant past and still today, that is likely why they deactivated their previous account where they spent their time being a pretty gross person in defense of a fictional white male character in just the screenshot below alone they implied that:
vivienne, a black woman, is a facist.. imagine calling a BLACK WOMAN a fascist because they think she actively put mages into concentration camps when no such thing happens if she is made divine--in fact morrigan says in the inquisition ending should she be made divine that mages flourish under her rule. She never even says that is something she will do anyway.
calling qunari and by extension the qun fascist when they are the only black/brown coded race... many forget this but gaider did refer to the qunari in the past as a "militant islamic borg" and OP just repeats that extremely islamaphobic rhetoric and anyone saying anything against that very problematic rhetoric is supporting fascism for some reason???

All in all, OP is not a good person and the way they hide behind buzzwords and specific types of rhetoric to trigger others all in defense of a white male character should very much illuminate that they are someone who does not actually care about abuse, racism, fascism etc because they only care about it when it is to defend a fictional white man against a few people who are even just mildly critical him in VERY SMALL invite only communities.

summary: you are professor sato's student and mina contacts you when kenji finds himself with an injured kaiju baby

you stood beside professor sato in the tube lift as it descended to kenji's basement.
you fiddled with the ends of your shirt, anxiety beginning to spiral within you by the second.
being at kenji’ house was something you never imagined would happen, especially after your not-so-smart first date. 
like kenji, you also had a legacy to bear, with your father as an expert mechanic, he built a titanium-alloyed suit with sato to fight by his side. and with him gone, you had to take on the mantle and the responsibility of protecting the city.
kenji knew you as his father’s student, slightly bitter that his father was spending time with someone who was not him.
but he couldn’t deny, you were a sight for sore eyes.
he would throw his words at you now and then, relishing in your sarcasm and remarks, falling more and more for your fiery demeanour and silver tongue.
and with you both fighting kaiju attacks together, it only pulled you closer to each other.
the baseball player won a bet against you, asking for just one date with you. 
you were skeptical about it, not wanting to get tangled in his spider web of messy celebrity life. but you couldn’t back off from the bet. a deal was a deal.
the date went surprisingly well, with you and kenji bickering back and forth about the most mundane things, just to get a rise out of the other. but as time went by, the sexual tension was increasing between you two.
you couldn’t deny it, no matter how much he annoyed you with his bratty charm. he was hot. 
the date was supposed to end with him dropping you in your place, but instead, you found yourself in his arms in the back of his car- naked, needy, and moaning his name like a prayer.
after that, he took you into your apartment and fucked you good, mumbling praises and promises as he drilled into you. the next morning, he left before you woke up, leaving a note saying that last night was fun. 
no calls or messages after that. he merely acknowledged your presence after that.and you were thankful for it. a bit.
part of you wished he would reach out and check in on you after that night. but you knew he wouldn’t.
it made you feel used and unwanted. took you quite a while to get over it, but you eventually did. 
you only took care of the fights he didn’t pay mind to. like the kaiju attack he ditched when the kdf intervened.
and now with the doom of meeting him again, your nerves were on end.
“fret not, dear,” professor sato glanced at your tensed state, “it will be alright.”
"professor, um, you still haven't told me why we’re at your son’s place. or what we're gonna do. or why you needed me out of all people-”
"i just need you to trust me on this, dear. you're the only one i do at this moment. can you do that for me?"
"you know i'm big on trust, professor, " i commented, shaking my head.
the lift stopped, and professor smiled, "that i do," 
when the lift doors opened, ultramn’s face was right on, big glowing eyes.
you took a step back with a yelp, “what the-"
"oh my-" ultraman gasped, “y/n�� hi,” he seemed to be dazed, breathless.
you nodded nervously, glaring at his metal head and glowing eyes, glad that you didn't have to look at his handsome face, “hi,”
“dad! what is she doing here?” kenji hollered, as if you were invisible.
you glared at him even harder, tilting your head to the side at his tone.
"i apologize for my son," professor told you, "kenji, this is my assistant and she knows best about kaiju infants,"
i added, "because i've studied about them.my entire life. what they eat, their life cycle, the metamorph-"
"okay, okay, got it yeah," he waved you off in a hurry, his voice laced with impatience and worry.
you were about to snap when a pained squeal rang out and you leaned past him to sneak a peak, but ultraman obscured your view.
“dad, i’m not asking for pain, complaints, guilt, or criticism. not right now. i just-” he paused, struggling, “i need your help. both of you,” his head turned to you.
when he moved out of the way, you saw it, a gasp escaping your lips .
a baby kaiju lying on its back in the middle of the room, its head resting on ultraman’s knees while he held it down, rubbing its head. a red beam blinked under its skin, signaling its distress.
"wow," you gaped at the kaiju baby, following after professor sato.
“she was hurt, dad. we were attacked, i don’t know what to do. she got loose. i-i should’ve been there,” kenji rambled, guilt evident as he beat him up for what happened.
professor sato examined her, running a hand over a scales, “incredible,”
i held out my fist, metal plates slipping over your fingers and crawling up your arm till your elbow. you held out a hand, shooting a scanning bean from your fist to examine.
“you brought your warsuit?” ultraman asked in wonder. he knew about your identity and was hoping he’d run into you in one of the fights.
“just in case,” you shrugged, eyes on the anatomy chart you had pulled up in front of you as the holograph blinked on the arm of the kaiju, indicating the site of injury.
meanwhile, professor sato ran a chem analysis of the tranquilizer that had hit her.
"oh, hello mina," you greeted the ai when it floated towards you, “it’s been a long time,”
"indeed," mina responded, "you look well,"
"thanks,"
the kaiju baby whined in pain, squirming. you rested your metal palm on its tummy, easing your way up and down on its body, "shh, hey, hey- it's okay, we're gonna help you, baby, mkay?” you cooed.
the kaiju baby seemed to somewhat calm down at your words, its body still trembling.
“is it a he or she?” you asked, tapping and prodding her arm juncture.
“a she,” mina responded.
"she's beautiful," you looked up at her in awe, “professor, i suppose she has fracture. there’s fluid build-up in her elbow. mina, can u confirm?,”
“yes, she had a mid-humeral fracture with associated hematoma,” mina added.
the kaiju baby cried out again.
“it’s okay, you’re okay,” professor sato uttered softly caressing her arm.
mina was filling in the professor about the analysis of the tranquilizer while you got a closer look at the baby, running your metal hand over her palm.
her fist closed around your hand, the kaiju baby cooing slightly. your heart melted at the action.
“poor thing. does it hurt too much?” you reached to touch her arm where she got hurt, only for her to squeal in alarm.
“it’s okay,” kenji soothed, “she’s-” he stammered, looking at you now fully and taking in your appearance and feeling somewhat flustered, “she’s not gonna hurt you,”
you spared a glance at him, turning away, your face turning red at the mere sound of his voice. pathetic, you scolded yourself.
“can you synthesize a 100 ccs?” professor sato asked mina. 
“yes, professor,”
“good we’ll need more,”
 “more?!” kenji snapped, “for what?”
“kenji,” “you may not agree with me on anything else, but right now, i’m the best chance she has. and with y/n, it will be easier. so please, please just let me help,”
kenji glanced at you, agreeing, “okay,”
professor sato held up a ragged bunny in the air. the kaiju baby beamed at it.
“dad,” kenjis sighed in nostalgia, “bunny?”
“it always worked on you,” he placed it on the baby’s arm. he notched his walking stick between her shouler and arm, making sure it was right. i nodded in approval.
i placed my hand on the kaju baby’s palm, “hold her tight, kenji,”
two mechanical arms appeared from the ground, grabbing onto the baby’s arms.
taking a deep breath, you mumbled along with the lullaby mina played in the back and pushed her dislocated bone into place. kenji turned his head away to the side, unable to watch while the kaiju baby screeched in pain.

you sat by the stairs of the containment unit as the kaiju baby slept in it, snuggling a half-crushed car.
you were watching the footage of the kaiju baby loose in the streets, observing its movement, behaviour—
“hey,”
you slapped your watch shut and looked up at kenji, blinking, “hi,”
your eyes locked for a moment longer adn you both looked away, feeling bashful and flustered. 
you felt him sit on the stair beside you and rest his elbows on his knees, fiddling with his fingers nervously.
“so, uh, how are ya?” kenji turned to face you, his hair falling all over his forehead.
you bit back the urge to brush them back, “fine. so how’s life being a single mom with two jobs?” you teased, hoping to ease the tension.
kenji gave a small smile, his chest rumbling with a groan, “exhausting,”
“i can tell,” you noticed the fading dark circles under his eyes, the fatigue in the paleness of his skin.
“watching me that closely, sweetheart?” he tipped his head to the side, leaning forward a bit, his flirty tone showing up.
“you wish,” you rolled your eyes at him.
“it’s good to see you,” kenji spoke genuinely, “after the last time we met turned into-”
“oh dear god-” you sputtered, “don’t just don’t,”
“was it that bad?” he seemed offended that you were shutting out that incident so quickly, “was i that bad?”
“no, no, ken,” i laughed carelessly, missing the way a shy smile crept up kenji’s face at your sound, “its just that,” you tried to find the right words, “it was amazing, but the days after that, not so much. we-”
“-drifted apart,” kenji completed, understanding now.
"yeah,"
“i’ll just,” kenji jabbed his thumb to the couch area and walked towards it, muttering and scolding himself for being so clumsy and flustered around you.
you smiled at his back, watching him sit down. you turned back towards the containment unit, watching the kaiju baby snore away.
you crossed your legs, getting comfortable, "mina?"
"yes?" the ai floated towards you.
"give me everything you have on the kaiju baby. and you might wanna get filled in on the kaiju anatomy and life cycle info i have in my database," you held up your watch for her.
“sure thing,” a mechanical arm took it from you.
"and also, could i get a cup of coffee, with three-,"
a cup was thrust beside your face to hold. 
you looked up and saw kenji holding one for you, having one for himself, “three shots of espresso. just how you like it,”
surprised but touched, you accepted it with a kind nod, watching him walk back to his father.
he relaxed back, leaning into the couch and spreading his legs apart shamelessly, one arm resting on the head of the couch.
you lips parted at the sight.
kenji did a double take and caught you staring, a grin quirking his lips as he did so. it only widened as he saw how you fumbled and turned away from him, finding your reaction adorable.
he couldn't believe how captivating you were, and he knew he was in danger of losing himself to your charm. 
 the way your hair draped over your shoulder, only if he could wrap his fist around them and pull you flush against his back-
“pure thoughts, ken. pure thoughts,” he chided himself, his mind struggling to process the mental image it created.
he silently chastised himself for letting you slip through his fingers last time, but he knew that he couldn't ignore you any longer. 
as he looked at you, he felt his heart skip a beat and he couldn't help but sigh, "sweetheart..." knowing that you were too tempting for him to resist this time.

In the wake of what's going on in the world, I see a lot of rhetoric that basically boils down to the idea that everyone has a responsibility to watch every bad thing that's going on in the world all the time. That awareness itself is a responsibility that everyone has always.
I'm not going to say that people do or don't have a responsibility to be aware of things, but I want to talk about how to take care of yourself and others while doing so.
For some context, I spent close to a year and a half reading about every terrorist attack in the world as part of my work on the Global Terrorism Database. It was 2015/2016, so this was the height of ISIS/Daesh, it was a major time for Boko Haram, and it was when there was a lot of political violence that we weren't sure how to classify in places like Yemen, Crimea, and Libya (stuff the GTD didn't know how to classify had all of is information recorded, and then it went into purgatory until someone above my paygrade decided what to do with it). What this means is that I was spending 10-20 hours a week reading about hundreds or thousands of attacks a month and, in my case, recording infomation about the type of attack and the type of weapon. Much of my life was reading terrible things.
Limit what you do in isolation. One of the worst changes for me during that time, mental health-wise (even though it was great for my commute) was when I went from working in-person to working remotely. With other people, there are ways to diffuse the pain. A burden shared is a burden halved and all that. That may mean talking about it, or joking about it, or finding some other way to engage with it that isn't just reading about the most horrible things in the world and then stewing in your own thoughts about them.
Find something to do that's totally unrelated. I highly recommend finding something to do with your hands, if you can (knitting, Lego, cooking, whatever), but regardless of what it is, you should have some time when you entirely switch away to something different. During a fair amount of my time with the GTD, I was also doing my undergrad thesis about terrorism on TV, so a huge amount of my life was about terrorism in some way. The only other thing I watched was Great British Bake Off, and I would just rewatch the episodes, over and over.
Be compassionate about how you share information and with whom. Use trigger warnings, and consider using consistent tagging on places like Tumblr so people can blacklist it if they need to. Also consider whether it's appropriate or necessary to share photos of bodies or other results of horrible violence. What is it accomplishing, to show that? Can that goal be accomplished other ways that don't require the equivalent of jumpscares of unexpected photos of dead or brutalized people? Are you just showing it because you think that everyone should have to see it? If you are showing it, are there ways to mitigate against harm it may do?
Do what you can to avoid an echo chamber. Sometimes, when everyone around you is upset or angry about the same thing, it just amplifies itself, and you all get angrier and more upset in perpetuity without accomplishing anything.
Work towards action. Watching terrible things happen for the sake of saying that you haven't looked away isn't as meaningful as taking action in some way. Write to your Congressperson. Donate. Do whatever is appropriate for the thing you want to stop. But penance via watching terrible things happen doesn't accomplish anything.
Recognize compassion fatigue and do what you can to mitigate it. If you spend long enough doing this, you start to lose context, and you start to become less able to have compassion about things. If you're reading about attacks with dozens or hundreds of deaths regularly, five can start to not seem like that many. If you're reading only about the worst suffering in the world, "lesser" suffering of those around you can start to seem unimportant and petty. Do what you can to mitigate that.
Be kind to yourself. You do nobody any good if you burn out. Look away, if you need to. Take a break. Do things so you can enjoy life, because otherwise you are just another person suffering in the world. Other people's pain isn't a hair shirt for you to wear.

It's horrible too if Jinx lives!!
OK, I guess we're doing this?
People keep coming at me for my post about Jinx dying being terrible writing and promoting suicide by heroics as a valid way out, and the argument is always "Actually, Jinx is alive because XYZ"
So let me makes myself clear : if Jinx lives, it's also terrible writing!!
Because for all intent and purposes, she DOES DIE! Even if she's alive and fucked off in that blimp, she's still dead to everyone who knew and loved her.
WORSE! Vi will go on thinking for the rest of her life that Jinx died because of her, or at the very least that she couldn't save her.
It's not for no reason that Vi has this scene in the cell with Caitlyn, where she says she always choses wrong. In the scene on the crumbling metal beam, Vi choses not to listen to Jinx!
People got in my comments saying I have no humanity for reproving Vi picking "Vander's corpse" over Jinx. But what we see happen is Jinx telling Vi multiple time to get away and how to get to safety, and Vi completely ignoring her to interact with Vander/WW, only for him to wake up, attack her, and force Jinx to risk her life to save Vi.
Vi made a choice, between more time with Vander and listening to Jinx, and the price paid in the end is Jinx dying.
What if she lived and escaped? Vi doesn't know that! Ekko doesn't know that! Or Sevika! Or anyone!
Thought exercise time: close your eyes and imagine a relative disappearing for your life after a lethal accident you're involved in. You never recover a body and never see them again. How do you feel about it? Mmh?
"Oh but Caitlyn sees the schematics that show a side tunnel…"
Firstly, Caitlyn was nowhere near the event, and she can't frame-by-frame the explosion as we do, so you can hardly claim she's looking for Jinx and not, for example, the arcane gem, or Warwick.
Vander/WW was shown to be entirely impervious to the bullets from Jinx's automatic gun. If anyone has a chance of surviving, it'd be him.
But do you know what? If Jinx is in that blimp, and Caitlyn then tells Vi, "From the schematic, I think your sister could have escaped" (ignoring entirely the fact that Jinx should be cut in half by WW's claws wrapped around her waist), then what would happen???
That would send Vi on a wild goose's chase!! How many years would she spend hunting through Zaun trying to find her sister? How many years until she starts resenting Caitlyn for giving her false hope? How many years until she's forced to accept Jinx isn't anywhere, and so must have died back then, and has to see herself as Jinx's killer all over again??
How is this good for Vi?

And Ekko? He pulled her out of suicide what? 5 times? Had some epic bonding with her painting all over each other, doing self-care and hair dyes and fixing a balloon so they could go on a big attack together.
Maybe he thought he could genuinely finally be close to his world's Powder. Silco just taught him the greatest thing he can do is forgive, and the girl he forgives fakes her death and runs away?
They're barely 20 ffs, Jinx would have plenty of time to struggle on the road to recovery, especially with his help. What if Ekko was ready to be there along the way with her? What about him?
How is it good if Jinx is NOT dead but has NOT told him? What difference does it make to him? She's dead for Ekko, and if he learns later on that she faked her death, all he'll know is that HE wasn't worth her staying. He wasn't even worth telling the truth to!!!
It's fucked! It's not healthy!! Jinx could have her ending removing herself from Zaun without having to fake her death.
But hang on, it gets worse!
Because it's straight up not good writing even on the meta level.
Arcane has millions of viewers. Nobody I know IRL thinks Jinx is alive. Plenty of people in my notes agree she's dead. Do you know what millions of people think? That she is dead!!! Because it's the TEXT OF THE SHOW.
Millions of fans will think Jinx was killed off, because they aren't willing to go frame by frame, extrapolating and make-believing their way into thinking she is alive. Most fans are normal people who aren't terminally online, theorycrafting all day long.
Most normal fans have moved on to watch Dune Prophecy or Sweetpea. And if Jinx comes out alive in another show, the "Somehow Palpatine Jinx returned" memes will abound.
Let's go over the common elements brought forth as arguments.
Jinx uses pink and blue in that bomb, and pink is how she gets away "quick".
No? The bomb she attached to Thieram in season 1 was pink and it was all for glitter and harassment. There is no strong canon association of meaning. If you watch frame by frame, there is a pink "light gleam" over the first blue detonation followed by a very large pink blast and ZERO smoke trails or anything indication someone getting away. Jinx uses the same bomb she used to kill herself very effectively earlier in the show, so we have no indication it wouldn't kill her here too.
We can see the inside of her bomb when she kills herself (with the two liquid vials) and it's the same she uses on Vander/WW and herself.

Besides, even if she used some part of the explosion to get away, WW's claws are around her like this:

She'd be bisected in half.
So some people say that means that Warwick is also alive and let her go! But no. That's make-believe. That's fanon, 100%. The TEXT of the show is that Vander is burnt away (we see the final image of himself burning up) and he has just attacked Vi, trying to kill her. We have no indication he'd want to spare Jinx here.
HOWEVER, he's literally bullet proof, so if there's anything we can conclude is that he's likely to be the one to have made it into a shaft and to safety.
Speaking of shafts: the next argument is that Caitlyn is looking at the tower's schematics to hint that she suspects Jinx lives.
Maybe, but you are reading a character's mind. We see her look at schematics while holding the monkey bomb head, yes, but you don't know what she's thinking, and if the show runners don't make it explicit, then Cait's thoughts about an explosion she hasn't even witnessed aren't worth much. She could think Warwick lived. OR she could think, despite not witnessing the fight, that Jinx lived. But she doesn't KNOW, she doesn't tell us, and so you are INVENTING the thoughts of a character to mean what you want it to mean.
This would be a lot more meaningful if it were Vi investigating this.
There's a blimp going away, it has blue smoke, and then it ends with a Jinx glitch.
No. There is a blimp going away, slowly, without any blue smoke. It's also THE EXACT SAME ONE that opens Season 1 act 1.

Instead of coming towards Piltover, it now is leaving over the sea. This can be fully interpreted as a sign that the hextech era is over. Blimps have to travel the old fashioned way again. It's also going away from Piltover/Zaun, symbolizing future stories taking place there.

Finally, the glitch is 3 frames long and spells "the End". IDK why the fact that it's a little Jinxy means anything to anyone. The end of credits for season 1 was Jinxy as well, and it could simply be about keeping the same visual identity and not a sign of Jinx being alive???
If I wanted to play subtext games, I could say "Wow Jinx writing "the end" would be appropriate if she were dead" and reverse the argument.
Finally, and the thing in most poor taste, IMO.
Jinx kills herself several times in the opening of the episode, and a sad emo song plays over it, with sad fucked up lyrics. Then Ekko comes and pulls her from this…
Only for that EXACT same song to be played while she and Vander/WW fall. They are both crying. Vi is crying and screaming while these lyrics are playing!!
If I could just lay my head down and rest. If there was nothing to fight or protect. Maybe then I could finally be free. Maybe death is like falling asleep. This world is a wasteland where nothing can grow. I used to have strength but I ran out of hope. I know it's my fault that I'm here all alone. This world is a wasteland. Please let me go. Go, go, go. Please let me go.
This is literally singing about suicide. When you say "Maybe death is like falling asleep" over the animation of a character pulling the pin, you are not dealing in subtext or metaphor of any kind.

One of the earlier shots literally has her framed in broken glass among shards that are WARWICK'S MAW. It's like a hint of her death being killed by him, furthering the parallel.

And I think it is in very bad taste to have suicide apologia music playing over characters screaming and bawling (Vi)

and a bomb goes off (with no hint of survival),

only for some of y'all to come around acting like Cait glowering at a blueprint and a recuring blimp all means Jinx is alive...
It would be grief porn on the part of the writers. It would mean slamming us in our feelings in a brutal way, in an ugly way, while playing a suicide song, only to turn around and say "Syke! didn't you get that Cait is suspicious about Jinx so it totally means it was all a fakeout?"
I don't want a fake-out at this point!! Why would I?? It's legit worse! Because then it means they couldn't spare 5min of animation time to have her rescued by Ekko and being on the mend with him. Even if she has a scene where she tells him "I need to leave. I can't stay in this city), at least it wouldn't be a cruel joke on the fans and the characters.
This entire ending means that either Jinx was better off dying taking out the mad monster made out of her dad with her (making her the ultimate dad killer, yay), or Jinx was better off removing herself from the equation SO THOROUGHLY that MOST fans believe it, everyone in world believe it, and the show offers no concrete textual clue for it.
It means Jinx didn't deserve/or wasn't able to get better. And so she has to die or do the exact-same-as-dying but kind of more fucked up somehow.
---
ULTIMATELY the message to impressionable viewers who struggle a lot with mental health and identified a lot with Jinx, are being told with soft sad music that yeah maybe dying is like going to sleep and your family should let you go, go, go, and that "leaving everything and everyone behind" is about the same.
It's fucked, and it saddens me that people are so focused on the "she lived" narrative that they miss out the fact that a hint she may be alive doesn't change the messaging.
And it saddens me knowing that if Viktor's arc ended with him being validated in feeling like his human body was "broken" and "inferior" and that his disability made him lesser as a human, people would have pitchforks and torches out.
Jinx's mental illness and struggles in interacting with the world were her disability, and she got fucking killed or wiped off the city incognito for it.

*Yandere Eli Jang would be obsessive, possessive and paranoid. Considering of all the gang fights he took part in and growing up in a abusive family. He saw the dark side of the world ever since he was young. And when he deeply loves you, he doesn't want to ever let you go. His another chance at true happiness and love, one he doesn't want to lose because he fears if he did. He would lose himself as well.
*He wants your attention on him at all cost, Eli can't stand the thought of you forgetting about him easily. He's also afraid that if you spend time with other people, you will leave him which is why where ever you go. You would always see Eli at least somewhere, whether it be at a park, store, restaurant, walking though the street, at the school hallway, anywhere--randomly coming up to you with his smile and then the entire day you end up being stuck with him. Even in the presence of your friends, the only one who he pays attention to is you.
*When it comes to him being obsessive, he always text you whenever the chance he gets. Asking you how are you, if you ate, what are you doing, etc. Eli also attempts to invite you over to his place under the disguise you be with him and Yenna but also to ease his worry by being aware that you're safe. But if you refuse, he would be respectful about it but the moment you step outside and at your desired location. He's going to be there, not in your sight but in the shadows and watching over you. He is also a stalker too but he justify his actions by claiming that it is done to protect you, and he's so quiet and sneaky. You will never know who is watching you everywhere you go
*But you do notice that anyone who tried to hurt you, whether it being a gangster or a normal jerk civilian. He either brutally murder them or leave them hospitalized. Depending on what kind of injury they inflicted on you.
*If it's a minor injury, then Eli will break their hand for touching you. But if it's worse that resulted you in a hospital bed. Your attacker will end up in the news, killed in the most gruesome way that will leave them unrecognizable. This is how overprotective and brutal he is and always will be.
*Eli would isolate you from your friends by making you go out with him and guilt trip you into saying yes and would even bring his daughter Yenna along so his family with you can be complete. But he does want children with you too but if you don't want any kids for any reason, Eli won't argue but would make you spend more time with Yenna to change your mind. You love Yenna and Yenna loves you too, because every time you meet her. You give her candies or toys and play with her.
*Family is everything to Eli, and you're part of his family too. Sally, Warren, Max and Derek will notice Eli's unhealthy behaviour and attempt to convince him of what he is doing is wrong but Eli resorts to guilt tripping them and explain it to them that everything that happened with Heather and resulted in her death. He didn't want to lose you in anyway and how madly he is in love with you. Even if you don't have any romantic interest in him.
*That's is when you meet and befriend Sally for the first time, along with Warren, Derek and Max. Eli has no problems with you going out with either of them, trusting them to take care and protect you when he's not there. But what he doesn't trust is your own friends, Eli sees them as incapable of being there for you if you're ever in danger which is why whenever you inform him that you can't hangout with him due to being with your friends. He will always secretly stalk you during your entire outing with your friends.
*Same thing with your family, but if you have a strong father who can fight well. He might consider ending his stalking whenever you're with your dad but then again, it is Eli who is more powerful and strong enough to beat and kill any gang member or equally strong opponents who pose a threat to you. So, he won't stop watching you.
*Due to his paranoia which leads him to a belief that without him, you will die either by his enemies, a gang fight you unwillingly got involved in or any type of accident. This fear overshadows all logic and rationality, resulting him to abducting you.
*Not caring that he is willing to take you from your own life just for his selfish desire that you will be with him and Yenna and for the sake of your safety. Because he knows that being around you will catch the wrong audience which is why after a week or later, kidnapping you is inevitable. Eli never wants you to suffer in anyway, he doesn't want you to go through a similar hardship like he endured.
*After being kidnapped, you're not allowed to step a foot outside at all. Because Eli doesn't trust you immediately, he knows that you will find a way to escape which is why he double locked the doors and windows around the house. He will only let you out when he has a feeling you won't try anything and when he does go outside with you and Yenna. His grip on your hand will be tight and strong to prevent you from not move an inch away from him.
*Life of being held captive is like Rapunzel's life but Eli's clinginess and desperation for you suffocates you. In the house, he doesn't even move away from you. And sometimes, you wake up in the middle of the night to find his strong arms around your waist as he sleeps. You never wanted to sleep next to him and Eli knows that so when you fall asleep first. Then he lays on your bed and hold you against him before closing his eyes.
*Even in his sleep, his iron grip on you causes you to struggle to at least move away from him to gain some space for yourself which ends in failure. And whenever you attempt to sleep anywhere else, you would always wake up to being on the bed; glued to Eli's side while he slept.
*Eli is very caring and and sweet to you, doing anything you asked him to do and buying you anything you want, you don't have to lift a finger because Eli doesn't mind spoiling you and would appreciate it when you help him take care of Yenna. Your sadness and anger affects him, when you quietly have a breakdown in front of him. Eli will always hug you, letting you cry your heart out until you feel better and then would actually take you outside to go on a walk with him and calm down. But Eli will never give you your freedom back.
*But if you're angry, he would try to understand you and compromise with you but if you're having none of that. Then when Yenna is asleep, Eli will become stern and serious. Even becoming mad at you as he explains why he took you and tell you each and every gory detail of the horrors he witnessed and experienced. And then questions you if you're strong enough to take care of yourself if you're in trouble. Eli will never raise his hand against you otherwise he will never forgive himself.
*Escaping Eli is very difficult too, considering he is Hostel's big daddy and there would be many runaways who would tell him where you ran off to. And when Eli does find you, you're going to be locked up for a month. Overall, Eli may be extreme with his love for you but he does take your feelings into consideration. As long as it doesn't require him to let you go.

patrick and the self-loathing… art being so insecure so sad… they’re both extra clingy to you that night, need you to make it all better.
and patrick the next day….. you’ve never seen him like that. neither has art. it’s so eerie. especially if like. you also grew up w them. idk. i looove a girl best friend trope. ANYWAYS!!! everything just feels so #off. poor sweetie patrick hates himself kinda, doesn’t know what to do
and if i said this all actually takes a huge emotional toll on you but you don’t say anything bc the two of them are worse off and you need to fix it………. if i said you fix everything for them and are their emotional comfort but end up breaking down yourself in a week because you didn’t talk about how you felt because that’s what you’ve always done with art and patrick……… its not entirely their fault, you just want to take care of them, but it’s been years in the making. years of mediating their spats, comforting them through break ups despite your pining for them, giving so much of yourself to make sure they’re okay and never voicing that you might need something in return. and now you’re navigating this new dynamic where suddenly you have the two people you’ve wanted most since you were fucking 12 years old.
you thought you knew what they needed, you thought you were equipped to handle anything they threw at you. you’d known them for the majority of your lives at this point, so seeing something completely new from patrick is terrifying. it takes days to figure out the root of the problem, days of walking on eggshells trying to get patrick to open up again. art is particularly needy because he’s just as scared as you are when patrick stops responding to your texts and spends more time out doing who knows what. you know he’s punishing himself, but you don’t know how to get him to stop. it takes locking him in a room with you and art to get him to talk, then it takes hours for the three of you to lay it all out. you address patrick’s self blaming and art’s insecurities, but you don’t say anything about how it’s affecting you. you don’t even think it’s affecting you at all - you just feel relieved that your boys have worked their feelings out in the open.
so, when things return to an improved normal, why don’t you feel better? why does it feel like there’s something gnawing in your chest? and— why are they looking at you like that?
“what’s wrong? are you okay?” they both speak at the same time, so you’re not even sure who says what, but suddenly, the two of them are on either side of you on the floor of your room with worry written all over their faces.
“what?” you hear yourself ask the question, but the words feel distant from you. like you’re watching yourself through backward binoculars. it’s then that you feel how wet your face is. you’re crying. you hadn’t even realized. come to think of it, you’re not sure how or when you ended up on the floor either. your tongue feels numb and you can’t stop the tears. you know they’re talking to you but you can’t hear them anymore. it’s like you’re being swallowed whole by a dark cloud.
the next thing you remember is an overwhelming sense of comfort. you’re laying down, pressed between two bodies. you know these bodies. art and patrick. your boys. you blink your eyes open, taking a moment to adjust to the light coming through your window. it hasn’t been that long, then. above you, art and patrick are sitting propped against your headboard and talking in hushed voices. yours cuts through them, though it’s still soft with sleep, “what happened?”
they look down at you and it’s clear how relieved that are that you’re awake. that you’re somewhat okay.
“we’re not sure, baby, but we think you might have had a panic attack.” patrick says, instinctively reaching out to touch you but hesitating, like you’re made of glass he’s afraid he’ll break. you gently take his wrist and bring his hand to your face so you can nuzzle into it. art wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you up so you’re curled up in his lap, patrick closes the gap where your body was between them and pulls your legs over his lap, so you all stay touching.
“this week was really hard on you, wasn’t it?” art asks quietly.
you think for a moment and your lip wobbles, “i just wanted to help you both. i didn’t think i needed anything else.”
“you did help us. so perfectly.” patrick says, his hand still on your face. “we should have seen it was taking a toll on you.”
“no, i should have been able to handle it. i always handle it.” you insist, tears threatening to fall again. you feel art’s arms tighten around your waist.
“you’re right, you always handle it - handle us - but we need to take care of you, too.” art says. “i mean, jesus, we put so much on you this week alone. we should have checked on you. we should have been checking on you for the last ten years.”
“you’re our girl.” patrick smiles, leaning closer to look you in the eye. “just because you can, doesn’t mean you have to do everything by yourself. we’re here for you, too, sweetheart.”
you nod, letting out a choked little sob, and the two of them are on you again, cuddling you, holding you as close as they can. you can hear the steady rhythm of their heartbeats, feel the soft rise and fall of their chests. you remember what art always asks when he’s being held like this and decide to test it for yourself, “i was good?”
the answer is immediate from both of them.
“the fucking best,” from patrick.
“so so good - perfect, baby,” from art.
warmth and love radiate from them through you, so much so that it makes you dizzy. you understand why art asks that question now.

Something I find interesting when viewing the two recent Dune movies as a whole is that initially, Paul is more than willing to use the prophecy and his visions for his own gain to convince Liet to help them, while Jessica whispers "careful!" at his side, and she later recommends they leave the planet entirely. But Paul decides they'll stay with the Fremen. Even at the beginning of Part 2, Paul is like "fuck yeah let's wage war on the Harkonnen" and Jessica is again counseling caution: "your father didn't believe in revenge." She goes through the Water of Life ceremony not because she wants to help Paul fulfill the prophecy but because she's forced to: do this or die. And even then, the old Reverend Mother had to use the Voice on her to get Jessica to drink.
That all changes when Jessica nearly dies during the ceremony. After that, Paul becomes more wary of embracing the prophecy, and she just throws herself into it. Paul nearly loses his mother (and his unborn sister) to a painful, agonizing poison - mere hours/days after losing his father and all their friends/allies to the Harkonnen slaughter - and decides it's not worth it. Meanwhile, Jessica gets a direct download of memories of millennia of oppression and goes "yeah let's burn everything to the ground."
It's an interesting, quick reversal at the beginning of the second movie, and it's great.

You make a really good observation about their reversal of positions--I had been struggling to figure out how Paul's line about "I must sway the non-believers" fit into his overall arc, but you are absolutely right that this feels like a continuation of how he talks to Liet. We're seeing the first stirrings of that little "maybe I am special" thought that later takes center stage.
For most of Part Two, Paul has several reliable counterweights pulling against that streak of arrogance and high-handedness that he's had from the beginning. Jessica almost dies drinking the Water of Life, which, like you point out, has got to make him think twice about encouraging people to believe in the prophecy. Then, he spends most of the movie surrounded by Chani and her friends and comrades, who seem the most skeptical of the prophecy and also aren't going to give his ego the time of day. And at the same time, he has an opportunity to pour his desire for revenge into collective political action that seems to be making a difference.
It's only when those countervailing forces start collapsing (the people who had started out as his equals are now becoming his followers; the Harkonnens attack Sietch Tabr and other civilian population centers, proving they are far from militarily defeated; Gurney shows up and immediately offers what seems like an easy solution to their problems that only Paul can access) that the little maybe I am special voice starts winning again.
As for Jessica, her journey doesn't get as much focus in the movie but it's also fascinating. She's a great character because she is so fucking smart at navigating power structures from what seems like an unenviable position. Did she have any choice about being sent to Caladan to become Leto's concubine? I am guessing she did not. But she sure figured out how to work that situation to her advantage. It happened that along the way she and Leto came to genuinely love and respect each other. But I'm sure she would still have figured out an angle even if that had not been the case.
In Part Two she starts out in a frankly quite terrifying position: she can undergo this unknown, dangerous ritual or die, and also possibly put Paul's safety at risk by raising doubt about whether he is the Lisan al-Gaib. But after she survives the Water of Life, she is launched into a powerful position in Fremen society and pretty quickly realizes she can use that to both protect Paul and get her revenge on the people who tried to kill her whole family. And unlike Paul, she is much more cognizant of the intergalactic power structures at work and aware that the Harkonnens themselves were a pawn in all this, so her target is the Bene Gesserit and the emperor.
I would have loved more time to explore Jessica's relationship to Fremen society and her POV in general. Because in some ways she becomes as Fremen as it's possible for her to be--she has access to thousands of years of memories of Fremen history and culture and politics; she becomes instantly fluent in the language and she is immersed in Fremen daily life in the sietch. (If there's one single thing I wanted more of, it was daily life in the sietch.) But she's still the same person she was, so she hasn't lost that ability to be ruthless and calculating and see people as forces to be manipulated. In Part One, her love for Paul and Leto provided an interesting counterweight to this that allowed us to see some moments of vulnerability from her (ie. she knows Paul has to undergo the Gom Jabbar test but she's terrified for him while it's happening). In Part Two she is so isolated for most of the movie (away from Paul; surrounded by followers who were never friends; I think we can all agree that talking to your unborn fetus doesn't really count) that we don't get a lot of these more unguarded moments from her. (I would have loved some Jessica/Stilgar action and it seems like the potential was very much set up for that, but I understand why they didn't have time.)
But in general I thought they did a great job of setting up this contradictory tension between Jessica and Paul, where they both want so desperately to protect each other and they both want revenge, but the way they each go about it ends up putting them in direct conflict with each other.

These questions about Lightning make me wonder what direction you plan to take it. I know you don't use the same things in every story, which makes them so delightfully unique. This is just my wishful thinking for you to explore the prophecy more. I know that in the books the power that defeats V is love, but for some reason I feel like there's something more to it than that. Harry is the chosen one, and that could mean so many things. Jamie, have mercy on me and please tell me something about this new story of ours 🥺🥺
omggg what me ramble about my the plot of a fic im not writing? Please
okay so
SPOILERS in case I ever do get around to writing Lightning
Here’s what I know so far about how the beginning of the fic is going to go (and I may, ofc, change my min entirely):
Harry, a young auror in training, goes back by accident, due to a dark ritual involving the ring, an illegal time turner and human sacrifice that he Ron and Hermione attempt to bust on their own, ignoring ministry protocol. Things go very awry, Harry ends up in 1950 ish, alone. Oh and he has a ton of gold, thanks to an interaction Draco that happens earlier that day - how lucky
Harry carries a terrible blood curse with him, and knows immediately that this shit is going to kill him and soon if he doesn’t seek medical help. But he also knows that time traveling like he did, no matter the circumstances, will send probably him to Azkaban, if not off as a test subject to the DoM. He knows they’ll look into his memories if he comes off as suspicious at st mungos, because it’s a real dark curse, and he’s a horrible actor and he’s awful at Occlumency and he knows it, so
harry concocts a ridiculous plot that allows him to pull out alllllll of his memories but with a plan in place to get them back after his curse is lifted, and sets things up so he wakes up right outside st mungos, where he knows they’ll take care of him
he is well taken care of, the poor lamb, to be attacked on Christmas Eve!!! and spends a few days there, maybe makes some hospital friends who have also had their memories fucked with
they assume he was the victim of some awful mugging, and that the perpetrator wiped his memories after and did such a terrible job and that’s why Harry can’t even remember his own name (they deduce his first name is ‘Harry’ only because he wrote it on the inner tag on his robe beforehand; a healer tells him that next time he writes his names on his personal belongings, he ought to put his last name, too)
but he still has his wand - how lucky! So they tell him he should go to ollivanders, as it looks like one of his (man remembers every wand he ever sold, ten galleons says he’ll remember you)
so Harry does, and the moment he asks, ollivander’s face goes slack - he’s clearly been confounded. He goes into a back room, hands Harry a moleskin bag, and bows him out of his shop without another word.
Harry goes back to the room he’s renting, and it’s NYE btw, and he opens the bag to find a shit ton of galleons and two vials, both glowing silver, one so bright it’s almost blinding. There is a handwritten note on each one. ‘Before you died’ and ‘after you died’
another note reads something along the lines of, ‘hi Harry, these are all your memories. I’m not even sure if you should take them all back or not; it might be better if you didn’t. It’s not often you get a chance to start over. But I know you - ha - so you’ll definitely end up taking them back. Maybe think about it first. It’s not great. I think I’d take the do over. really, think about it. Oh, and while you’re considering it - avoid Knockturn alley.’
harry does indeed find this all ominous, and assumes he must have been a horrible horrible person. He probably stole all this gold! What if he killed people for it! So he takes his sad amnesiac self down to the Leaky and starts to day drink heavily as the new year approaches
he is friendly with the young bus boy named Tom, who swears he’ll be running that pub someday.
as if gets busier later in the day, quite crowded, Harry gets more depressed. At one point, half the bar seems to cheer when a new person arrives. harry looks. He’s tall. He’s very handsome. He immediately makes Harry’s mind go on high alert and he’s instantly anxious and doesn’t know why.
tom the busboy tells him that if he keeps staring like that, the bloke is going to notice. Sure enough, he does. Harry looks away and is having a crisis (why am I staring at that handsome man? Why do I keep calling him handsome? Am I gay, and I forgot? Wtf is wrong with me)
so he goes to leave, but Tom the bus boy got busy, so he shouts to get his attention so he can say goodbye to his bestie. “Tom!”
”…Yes?”
wrong Tom. Harry is suddenly eye to eye with the very tall very handsome very scary man. He’s staring down at him, looking confused. “Have we met…?”
harrys body acts without his consent. He moves in ways he did not know he could move - in a flash he has his wand out, pointed at this man’s temple, has him backed up against a wall, his elbow across his throat, pressing on his windpipe.
about a dozen people around them are ready to kill Harry at once, but mystery tall man calls them off with the barest gesture. Harrys heart is pounding and he is having all these horrible confusing thoughts, like ‘should tear his head off, lock him up, stop him now, ruin him’
And he’s looking right into his eyes while thinking all these things, so TR is just drinking it all in, unbeknownst to him
Owner of the bar yells at harry. Harry, so very confused and too guilty and panicked to even apologize, just leaves. he goes somewhere far away for a bit… and decided to take the first vial of his memories then
mental crisis ensues
aaaaaaand I actually have a lot more than that semi planned but that’s the exposition 🥲

Valeria was pretty and (Y/N) wasn't going to deny it, no matter how much she hated it.
Her father had hired her a little over a year ago, she didn't know much about her, starting a conversation with her wasn't easy and she didn't seem to like her so much either, so she had just given up..
She was ex-military, that was all she knew about her, she was curious why she had abandoned that life and why she was now in charge of taking care of a 21-year-old girl who spent her days locked within the four walls of her room.
She remembered that night well because it was one of the few times she had gone out late with Valeria, she hated having her around all the time, but her father was an important man, in the past people had tried to attack her and her father was not going to risk it once again.
Then Valeria appeared. She was too serious, (Y/N) had tried to start a conversation with her more than once, but she just didn't seem to want to talk to her, of course, it wasn't at all for the reasons she thought.
Valeria liked her much more than she ever imagined, she simply decided to take her distance and do her job in silence.
That night something broke between them.
(Y/N) had decided to go to the mall, perhaps a little later than she should have and for that very reason, the sun had already set when she planned to return home.
Valeria was more tired than normal, although she tried to hide it, her expressions of exhaustion did not go unnoticed by (Y/N), who more than once asked her if she wanted to sit down and rest, but she refused.
Until at some point she couldn't take it anymore and simply plopped down on one of the benches in the almost empty mall. Valeria sighed exhausted and (Y/N) had to stop to look at her.
"I told you to come home two hours ago," she said in that tone of voice she always used after winning an argument.
"Who spends more than two hours at the mall?" Valeria asked irritably.
She never shopped that way, whenever she needed something new, she would go to the mall, go to a specific store and leave there in less than fifteen minutes. On the other hand, the girl next to her was the complete opposite.
"Why are you so tired?" she asked out of mere curiosity, she sat next to her and turned for a few seconds to organize the bags with her purchases before returning her attention to Valeria.
"I couldn't sleep well," she replied simply. It wasn't entirely a lie, but of course she didn't mention the part where the girl appeared in her dreams.
"Oh… You don't talk about yourself so much, do you?" Valeria shook her head and rubbed her face gently in an attempt to dispel her sleep.
"Why do you want to know about me?"
"Well, you're the only person I see literally every day and I don't even know your last name."
Valeria laughed lightly because she knew that wasn't entirely true, it was just that the girl was too forgetful to remember her last name, which she never mentioned often.
"Garza." she reminded her.
(Y/N) nodded and looked away, the tips of her feet moved restlessly, those seconds of rest had been enough to dissipate all her energy and suddenly, she felt like going home.
"What about your life in the army?" She asked.
Valeria thought about it for a few seconds, she never talked about it, and there was nothing to talk about, or at least nothing that she wanted to remember.
"We have to go, it's late." Valeria patted her leg and stood up from her place.
(Y/N) was confused by her sudden change of mood, she turned to take the bags with her purchases and walked quickly behind Valeria, trying to keep up with her, it had already happened more than once: when Valeria didn't want to respond to her questions, she simply began to walk quickly, and it was always difficult for her to keep up with her. Unlike Valeria, she had short legs.
"Hey!" she complained, walking faster.
Valeria didn't stop her pace until they were both outside the mall, she slowed her pace when they entered between the cars in the parking area, that was when she was finally able to catch up with her, just when Valeria was distracted by opening the car door.
"Why do you never talk about your past?" she asked. She thought that if she pushed her hard enough, she might know more about her, she didn't like knowing anything about the person who literally lived with.
"Why do you insist so much?" Valeria growled when the car didn't seem to want to open.
"Well, we live under the same roof." She shrugged, the grip on her bags starting to hurt her arm, but she didn't say anything, Valeria already looked stressed trying to fight against the car door.
Several seconds passed until she finally seemed to give up, she was tired and stressed. That was not her best day as a bodyguard, in fact, she felt like she was doing a terrible job, under other circumstances, she would have already been fired, but (Y/N) would never fire her.
Seconds later, Valeria gave up, sighed frustrated and looked at the girl next to her, who was leaning on the car, watching how the older girl failed when trying to get into it, of course she didn't mention the part where Valeria stopped in front the wrong car, she thought it was funny that she was so distracted.
Valeria's eyes weren't looking at her, she had a lost look and seemed to be thinking about something, (Y/N) was afraid to interrupt her until she finally reacted. She stopped struggling against the car door and turned to look at her.
"I've had some dreams," she admitted.
"About what?" she asked now with more curiosity, that explained her tiredness.
Valeria looked at her for a few seconds, she narrowed her eyes undecided about what she was about to say, what could she lose? Her work was unlikely, maybe just the little trust she had gained over the girl.
"About us" she spoke. She was silent for a few seconds before continuing, she wanted to see her reaction up close. "Kissing."
The girl opened her eyes in surprise, she felt her body tremble and forced herself to maintain her composure, she cleared her throat and stood up again, a smile wanted to form on her face, the same Valeria Garza admitting that she wanted to kiss her? Or something like that.
"And I was a good kisser?" She tried to follow her game, now she was more curious than before.
"I'm not sure." Valeria raised an eyebrow, she expected the girl to feel intimidated or scared, but she seemed to want to play along with her and she wasn't going to be left behind. "Would you mind if I checked?"
(Y/N) she tensed up completely, her breath hitched in her throat, was that a hint or was she just playing? If it was the last option, surely Valeria wouldn't try anything.
Then she shook her head in the negative.
And that was enough signal for Valeria to approach her, she put her hands around her hips to bring her closer and did not hesitate to press her lips against the girl's.
She didn't resist, her lips followed the slow rhythm that Valeria had begun to set, one of the older woman's hands slid to the back of her neck, bringing her closer to her, Valeria's lips felt so good against hers that she couldn't believe that they had spent so much time living together without having kissed her.
"Excuse me?" An unknown voice interrupted them. She separated from the youngest, who looked away from her embarrassed. "You're blocking my car."
"I'm sorry."
Valeria moved somewhat embarrassed, she was not someone who was easily embarrassed, but that time had been an exception. She took (Y/N)'s hand and gently pulled her in search of her car. The youngest giggled, she had never seen Valeria embarrassed or sorry for anything.
It took them less than five minutes to find the car, something they would have done well from the beginning if Valeria hadn't been thinking about the girl's lips on hers, their hands were joined in a different way, it wasn't like when Valeria took her hand to force her to walk.
However, that didn't last too long, Valeria needed both hands to open the car door and take the girl's bags, which she left on the back seat.
"Aren't you going to get in the car?" she asked, noticing that she didn't seem to want to move, she still felt a little dazed that her bodyguard had kissed her so suddenly.
"You kissed me." Valeria nodded and frowned in confusion. Maybe she shouldn't have done it.
"It bother you?" She was now confused. She hadn't moved away from her, she expected maybe a couple of smacks claiming that she couldn't kiss the girl she worked for.
“No, it took me by surprise,” she admitted. Of course she hadn't minded, more than once she had thought about how it would feel to kiss Valeria.
Valeria nodded, approached her again and gently pulled her to the car so she could finally return home, she was tired, they could talk about it later, although there wasn't much to talk about, she felt that that kiss was more than enough.
"We have to go" she murmured. She opened the passenger door so (Y/N) could get in, and she did so without saying anything.
Valeria leaned down to gently press her lips against the girl's again, before move away and closing the car door.
She remained motionless for a few seconds. She had done it so naturally that began to wonder if it would become something common between them, she didn't mind at all if she did.

🗨 Bojan Cvjetićanin, Joker Out: I wasn't at ease on stage for quite a long time
The calendar causes them a lot of issues, Bojan from Joker Out admits in conversation. In one year, the boys experienced things that most of us don't get to experience in our entire lifetime. How can someone avoid mixing up the sequence of events?! Bojan Cvjetićanin is currently in Germany with Kris Guštin, Nace Jordan, Jan Peteh and Jure Maček, where they are recording their third album.
In a long distance conversation he only confirmed his professionalism, which they agreed upon simultaneously with their performance at Eurovision. "We very quickly and unanimously decided to take on the rock'n'roll lifestyle properly; for us to enjoy it, for our fans to enjoy it and to be able to enjoy it for more than a month," Bojan says.
We're talking during your process of recording the album in Hamburg, just before that, you finished the tour. The band members really spend a lot of time together. How has your relationship evolved during all the years of being in a band?
BC: The current line-up is not the original one, we switched two members. But the fact is that the intense band life began two years ago, when both new members had already joined the band. So our common home, so to speak, has only existed for about a year. A lot has changed in fact. I believe we don't even notice all of it, nor do we think about it, because we are together all the time and we filter through the changes regularly.
If I look back, I see that the relationship between us became extremely, extremely tight and a mutual trust has been formed, which can only be built when you spend as much time with someone as we do with each other. The line between our relationships has been blurred. What I'm trying to say is that the line blurred between being a friend, a band member, a colleague, it all became one thing. We are essentially a sort of organism, which evolves and changes together.
The growth of each individual is very dependent on the other four members. We really have been through a lot together; even the biggest moments of shock, which influence our feelings and thoughts, happened to us collectively, we were never alone. We have become very dependant opon one another.
Your pace of life would firstly be ascribed to a professional athlete, rather than a rockstar. And to me it seems you have set out on your career in this way consciously. There's probably no drinking, late nights out?
BC: When we started the first two Europen tours it very quickly became apparent that what we are doing is a lot more serious than people would imagine. At least for us, this is the most fun job in the world, as we get to create and play music for the people who love us. And we love them as well. Together we share these lovely feelings, which is the coolest part of this job. If we want to do this long term and at a high level, we knew that we had to take it seriously.
When you have 22 concerts in one month, you of course think that everyone who bought a ticket to your concert deserves your best performance. When you're living at an extremely demanding pace for a month, late nights out and similar things are a completely unnecessary stress and distraction for your body. We very quickly and unanimously decided to take on the rock'n'rolll lifestyle in a proper way; for us to enjoy it, for our fans to enjoy it and to be able to enjoy it for more than a month.
In the podcast for N1¹ you openly talked about your panic attack. How have you been taking care of your mental health since that episode? ¹You can watch the N1 podcast with English subtitles on our YouTube channel!
BC: This happened to me last summer when, even though I was sick, we played five or six concerts in ten days. Tiredness and probably everything that had happened to us took its toll. After Eurovision, which ended in May, we didn't turn on the emotional part of our brain, because so many things were happening so quickly, we fell into work mode. The combination of all these emotions and events probably mixed together with tiredness and illness. I wasn't really at ease on stage and continued to not be at ease on stage for quite a long time, practically a whole year. But of course to a much lesser extent and less severely. The whole team made sure that it would happen as little as possible. The boys gladly took on the responsibilities for which my presence wasn't necessary and took that burden off my shoulders. I hardly had to deal with the logistics, the bureaucracy and I left it to those, who are better qualified for it. The boys in the band and our team always make sure that everyone feels at their maximum best.
On tours that are behind you, something really fascinating happened, the fans were singing with you in Slovene. We're speaking during your process of recording the new album in Germany. Does it even matter in which language you create music?
BC: On all the tours so far it turned out that for hour and a half, people are singing our lyrics. When some of our friends from Slovenia came to one of the concerts, they really couldn't fathom what was going on, because the people around them were talking in their own languages, but when we started singing, they sang together with us. On stage, we hardly hear any details in the pronunciation through all the noise, so we don't even have the feeling that the people who are singing don't speak Slovene otherwise. We felt very at home throughout all of Europe, which was quite magical.
Regarding the recording of the third album, the songs will be in the languages in which the idea for them was sparked. When it comes to the language in which the song is created, we really don't limit ourselves.
But I can tell you that the majority of the songs will be in Serbian and in Slovene, I doubt there will be more than two, maybe three songs in English.
Who is your favourite to win this year's Eurovision song contest?
BC: To be completely honest, I haven't looked into into this year's contestants a lot. I want to hear the songs for the first time when we watch Eurovision, which will be here in the studio. I was a host at the Eurovision pre-party in Madrid and there I heard some of the songs, but I consciously moved backstage to not hear them in their entirety. I want to experience it with a neutral outlook and base my opinion on what I hear for the first time, and not after I had been listening to a song for three months and maybe even met the artist in person.
But I absolutely strongly believe in our representative Sara. I know that she sings the song live really well. And that's very, very important. I know she has the stage presence, I saw the reaction from the public after her performance in Spain and that reaction was very positive.
For now, Raiven's performance is the only one that I saw in its entirety. I want to experience the rest when Eurovision happens.
How do you look back on your Eurovision experience after one year? You are in fact the first Slovenian representative that really took advantage of it in a completely different way.
BC: Eurovision completely changed our career and our lives. It's interesting that so many things happened to us since last year that we find it hard to perceive time. The calendar represents a big problem for us (laughter). We have problems evaluating what happened three months ago, what happened seven months ago and what happened two years ago. The events get a bit mixed up. If somebody told me that three years have passed since Eurovision, I would believe them.
We had a hectic lifestyle for half a year, we fell into an extremely unique universe, which you can only really believe if you're a part of Eurovision, or if you're an avid Eurovison fan who lives for Eurovision. And there's a lot of them.
Yeah, you fall into some kind of universe and you live in a bubble, completely isolated from your surroundings. We had a blast, we enjoyed it a lot, we met so many wonderful people. Since last year, we saw half of the representatives during the tours and all of them joined us on stage.
We know and we feel, that we did a good job. We are proud of what we have done, proud of what Eurovision enabled us to do. We worked really hard, all of it was very much filled with competitive spirit, but every single moment was worth it. When the opportunity for Eurovision presented itself to us, we knew we would take it full-on, or not at all.

“Hey.” 
“Hi angel.” With a worried smile, Leni watches Sarah prop her phone on something and rummaging in the space around her. She has her hair neatly wrapped in a towel; the bags under her eyes visible even from a mile away. “Whatcha doin’?” 
She flashes her a tub of sunscreen, “Skin care. It’s the only thing I can do without losing my mind.” Leni nods somberly, and watches her best friend apply a large chunk of cream all over her tired, but pretty face.
“Sar, you should really get some sleep.”
“I know. It’s just… it’s this place…”
“What place?” And that’s when it hits her. There was a reason why she thought the back of Sarah’s room looked so strange and yet familiar. Sarah’s back in her childhood bedroom. In Tannyhill. 
“Home.” She sighs, picking up her phone and giving Leni a small tour of the room they used to spend countless summer days in. On the bed, comfortably tucked under a pristinely white  duvet lies a very much asleep John B. When Sarah comes closer he stirs a little and that’s when the snoring begins. 
“Are you sure your childhood home is the reason why you can’t fall asleep right now?” 
Sarah snorts, her frown finally replaced with a wide grin. “If only.” With that, she moves their conversation to the large dining area downstairs. “To be honest, I do kinda miss it, but at the same time, I really don’t like being here.” 
“Maybe you just need time.” 
“Maybe.” Sarah bites the inside of her cheek, gaze stuck somewhere in the far distance. “Leni, he still owes people money.”
“Rafe?” His name comes out in the form of a croak. 
“Yes. That’s why he was in the hospital. Someone jumped him last night. He was out running and apparently this guy just attacked him right out of nowhere. Bashed his head with a rock… started kicking him… Leni… he could’ve died.” 
Leni opens her mouth to speak but no words come out. She’s been rendered completely speechless. Not only that, she also happens to feel the slightest bit of guilt, but not for what she did. That’s all Rafe’s fault and she feels zero remorse about it. Okay, maybe not zero; a part of Leni does feel kinda bad about the way things transpired in the end. Especially the part where she helplessly watches her best friend in the entire world lose sleep because her brother told some bullshit story. 
All because he wanted to protect Leni. 
Just like wanted to protect Wade all those years ago and suddenly, her guilt isn’t completely unjustified. 
She swallows. 
“Is he… is Rafe gonna be okay?” 
“Yeah. He only got a concussion so the doctor said he’s gonna be fine by tomorrow. He just needs to sleep it off.” A wave of relief washes Leni the second she hears Sarah say that. “And what about you? (“Me?”) A little birdie told me you and JJ were texting the whole night.” A mischievous grin spreads across Sarah’s entire face and fuck - Leni completely forgot to reply to his message!  
He’s probably sat at home thinking he crossed a line or something and that now she’s ghosting him. 
“Yeah, we were and then he sent me this text about how my pizza needs meat and I couldn’t figure out whether he was being flirty or just making a dumb joke so, I kinda ignored him for a second and went to cool my head off on Instagram and-” The image of Simon’s story flashes before her eyes. She should’ve blocked him when she had a chance; so many things would’ve been easier (or better said avoided) if she had done that. 
“And?” 
“Simon has a new girlfriend.”
“WHAT!?” Sarah’s face goes pale with shock. “But it’s barely been a month!” Leni nods, her eyes now slowly beginning to fill with tears. “You should’ve reposted JJ’s story on your main. Actually! -  you should post a photo of JJ like immediately! That’ll teach him.” 
“You’re right but… I don’t want JJ to think I’m using him to get back to my ex or something..” 
“Why would he think that? Don’t you like him?”
“I do! It’s just… I don’t think I’m ready to do anything with anyone just yet.” 
“I get it. Wound’s still sore.” Leni nods again. “You know what we should do? We should find the guy that jumped Rafe and hire him to do the same to your ex. Maybe that’ll teach him a lesson.”

When Leni arrives at The Wreck, Cleo is already there: sat on their table in the back while Kiara is running around, her hands busy with a tray full of orders. “Jesus what happened to you?” It was a question Leni expected to be hearing until the deep purple bruises slowly faded into a nasty yellow and then hopefully altogether. 
She smiles sheepishly as if what she’s about to say it’s truly mortifying and embarrassing and in hindsight - it is. “Long story.” A sigh escapes her lips in such a perfect way, you’d think she’s out here gunning for an Oscar. 
“I’m curious. Make it short.”
“Last night I found out my ex has a new girlfriend so I went for a run to clear my head but forgot to tie my shoelaces so I stepped on one and tripped and fell.” 
Kie’s face scrunches into a grimace. “Well that’s embarrassing.”
“Yeah.”
“But hey - at least you didn’t get jumped by your ex- dealer.” 
“My ex what?”
“You ex-dealer. Well, in this case Rafe’s ex-dealer. Who jumped him. Cause he owed money.”  Kie says smiling. The people she’s giving out their order to, don’t seem as entertained though. “Enjoy your meal.” She says sweetly before turning back to Leni, “Oh, by the way - Sarah said you’re looking for a job?” 
Leni blinks, “Uh, yeah.” 
“Come work for us. You’ll get so many free meals plus we’ll get to hang out like -  all the time.” In that moment she realizes just how hard it is to say no to Kiara. Especially when she’s smiling like that and even though working at a seafood restaurant wasn’t the fun summer job Leni had exactly in mind, it’s still a job and she could really use the money. 
“Yeah. Sure.” 
A squeal leaves Kie’s throat as she jumps, pulling Leni into a tight hug. “Awesome. I’ll go tell my parents! You have no idea how many brownie points you’ll be getting me by doing this Leni! I owe you!” 
With an equally huge grin Leni watches Kiara disappear behind the counter before finally joining Cleo. “Kie roped you into working for her parents?” It’s the first thing she says after their hug, forcing Leni to furrow her brows. “Don’t give me that face. It’s a good thing. I’m only saying it because she’s basically asked everybody and you’re the only one that said yes. Well - that’s not true. JJ agreed, but her parents hated the idea.” 
“Why?”
“Cause they don’t like him. I’m pretty sure they’ve always felt that way. I mean - why else would Kie be dating Pope instead of him?” Cleo’s eyes suddenly grow as large as saucers. “Shit. Pretend I didn’t just say that.”
“Say what?” An amused smile begins spreading in the corners of Leni’s lips all while Cleo actively avoids direct eye contact. 
“Just… are you thirsty? Let’s order something.” 
“Cleo. Look at me.” Cleo refuses to look at her despite the gentle tone in Leni’s voice. She’s too busy perusing the drinks menu. “I’m not gonna say anything. But I do want to know if there’s something going on between JJ and Kie.” 
“Nothing’s going on between JJ and Kie. She’s with Pope and JJ and I are part of the No-Love Club. The end.” 
“What the fuck is the No-Love Club?” 
With an earth shattering sigh, Cleo finally stops hiding behind the menu and faces her. “It’s this stupid thing Pope came up with when Sarah and John B broke up for a hot minute. The friend group got totally disrupted and one night he was like: ‘Swear no more inner dating! If you wanna hook up do it outside!’ and we were all drunk and sad and just agreed with his bullshit idea.” 
Leni blinks.
“So, wait… Pope and Kie are no longer part of the club?” 
“No they are. They just bend some rules.” 
“And each other.” 
Cleo grimaces. “Don’t put pictures in my brain.” 
“But why are they allowed to do the inner dating thing, but not … I’m confused.” 
“Me too Leni. Me fucking too.” It’s what she says, but the answer is right there - all over Cleo’s forced smile.

Rafe still hasn’t replied to her text. 
Obviously, this is something that shouldn’t concern Leni one bit and yet, there she is - obsessively checking her phone every ten minutes or so. Cleo and Kiara have been aware of this, after all it was one of the many reasons why she totally blanked out not on one, but two of their conversations and missed out on very important information regarding last night’s get together. 
JJ on the other hand, wasn’t so subtle. Not only did he make things incredibly awkward by refusing her hug with a fistbump, he also made sure to embarrass her by loudly asking whether she was expecting a text from her boyfriend. 
“Stop being an insecure dick!” She overhears Kie saying to him through gritted teeth - amongst other, unintelligible things - before skipping away with Pope for a lovely sunset swim. 
“Hey.” JJ plops right beside Leni. His voice is so quiet it almost sounds like a whisper. “Sorry for being a dick.” Their gazes meet. 
Next to her, Cleo shuffles. “And that’s my queue to leave.” 
The air between her and JJ is charged, but nothing like the kind she’s felt with others. With the corner of her eye, Leni watches him play around the sand with a stick; his long hair covering half of his face and suddenly she is hit by the strangest of sensations: she wants to run her hands through his hair. She wants to push it back; see just how far it’ll go and gaze into those blue eyes in the same way she used to gaze into Rafe’s last night. 
Rafe. 
Her heart skips a beat at the thought of his name and it takes all the power in the world not to reach for her phone and check whether he’s finally replied.
“I was gonna text you back, y’know. It’s just…” She awkwardly gestures at her bruised legs and sloppily places bandaids. “This happened.” 
JJ takes her hands into his own, carefully inspecting the torn skin on the inside of her palms before intertwining their fingers. “I didn’t take you for a clumsy girl.” He says, making her laugh and he squeezes her hand a little before letting go of it entirely. “It’s cute.” 
Their eyes meet and his are so… clear. Like the ocean on a beautiful sunny day; its color an enviable light blue and making Leni want to plunge in it without any hesitations. In a matter of seconds she can picture certain moments of her life with him; the early morning trips to the beach, lazy kisses that taste like warm beer and weed; the smell of sandalwood lingering on her skin and salt in her hair. 
It’s the perfect summer romance. 
The kind she’s dreamt of since she was a little girl and yet-
“Did you miss us?” John B’s voice cuts her daydream in half and Leni can’t help but think it’s for the better. Kie and Pope come out of the ocean and Cleo joins in soon after - her palms full of pretty shells. 
They huddle together by the growing fire: shoulders touching and legs covered in sand. Beer bottles start being opened and Kie has the summer nights playlist softly playing from one of the portable speakers Sarah took from Tannyhill and everything is just like it’s supposed to be except there she is again: thinking about Rafe. 
Why hasn’t he texted her yet? 
She looks over to Sarah, as if she could be the one capable of providing Leni with this answer and even though she might be, she still remains the last person Leni would ever ask about Rafe. And that’s when she notices; the distant look in her best friend’s gaze, the very same she would be a witness of every now and then and Sarah doesn’t have to say anything. All it takes is for the two to lock eyes and in a matter of seconds, they find themselves standing. 
“We’re… we have to pee.” Leni says sheepishly before reaching for Sarah’s hand and moving far far away from the others.  “Sar… talk to me.” She says as soon as they’re out of earshot and that single question is all it takes for her best friend to have a complete and total meltdown. “What’s going on?“
“I can’t do this… I can’t sit around and pretend I’m fine when my brother was in the hospital and no one seems to care! Like - they were literally making jokes about it! Saying he deserves it…” Well, he did kinda deserve it, but Leni would never ever admit this to Sarah or worse - tell her she is the reason why her brother got concussed in the first place. Although she does have the sneaky feeling that Sarah might end up siding with her once she finds out why Rafe got knocked by a rock in the first place.  “I know he’s a piece of shit, but he’s still my brother…” 
Nodding, Leni pulls her into a tight hug, rubbing soothing circles all over her back, “I know… I know…” 
“Wanna know the most fucked up thing? His ex was his emergency contact.” Sofia. The sole mention of her name makes Leni’s heart skip a beat and she hopes to god, Sarah wasn’t able to feel it. “If she didn’t have my number, I probably wouldn’t even have known he’s in the hospital. Like - you should’ve seen him Leni… He was so bloody.”

With Wheezie and Rose off to god knows where, Rafe is all I have left...” Sarah pulls away, her pretty face wet with tears. “You won’t judge me if I try to fix things with him, right?”

okay actually i need to ramble about taylor and her dad for like a bit cus its sooo much.
like okay listen listen listen: Danny wakes up early and he cooks breakfast maybe and then he goes to work and he does his job- and he's great at his job, in any world but this one, in any other brockton bay, he'd be able to afford to take taylor out of winslow or fix their broken step- maybe get her her like a dog or something (which btw would fix her) and y'know pay the bills and shit. but he can't in this universe because in this universe kaiju attack every 2 seconds and one specifically doesn't like people existing on coasts and like he's a dockworker or whatever so! so. so he works all day tirelessly just to not get his crew jobs or better pay because no one is going to sponsor the people working on a non-existent dock like its literally a graveyard! who would pay for this when there's an actual dragon man running around the city burning buildings down and an entire neo-nazi contingent of super-cunts nobody is going to do that. But this is his life. And he's stubborn and things had been better before so maybe they can be good again and he hates change and he doesn't want to have it all been for nothing and this is what he does. So he gives it his all. He stays late and he really only hangs out with his coworkers and he does have to pay the bills so its not like anyone could blame him. So he slams his head into the brick wall hoping it will break before his skull will and he misses so fucking much of what is going on in his daughters life! but it goes by so quickly, too quickly and by the time he's begun to figure out just how deeply and irrecoverably she's changed its way too late to just swing back in like nothing happened. He can't actually! They've both closed themselves off totally, her even farther than he has. but they're both stubborn, so stubborn and they think that if they can just hold on a little longer then things will be okay because things have to be okay because this can't be the rest of their lives! And Taylor really is her fathers daughter because she sees the way he bloodies his head on that wall and says fuck it all do you one better: this brick wall is going to break or i am! and if i do then i won't be around to care about it! And she's skipping class and spending nights somewhere else, sneaking out and of course he knows about it- of course he knows! What is he going to do though? confront her? and then what? what justification could he possibly have for that? to demand answers from her when she should be the one demanding them from him? he let her go back to the same school that nearly killed her! he let her drown without him when his wife died- didn't notice when emma broke her heart, didn't notice when she stopped loving english class or trusting adults or speaking without thinking 'stupid!' at herself reflexively. or worse- he did notice and chose not to do anything out of cowardice and habit and procrastinating guilt- like his daughters mental health was homework he hasn't handed in. But they both feel better, when they don't have to talk about it- and there's nothing morally wrong with skipping school or dropping out entirely but taylor used to like school but having an actual conversation with her about what exactly is happening in her life is something he takes half a zillion words to work up to and by the time he actually does he has to lock them in a goddamn room together- not because it's a good idea- if he knew more about taylor he'd know its a surefire way to freak her out- but because that's what he needs to talk to her.
and it just...deflates. she leaves and drops out of school and doesn't really talk to him again until brockton bay is like halfway underwater. there's no catharsis with him finding out she's Skitter, its not satisfying, not even in an angsty way- 'luke i am your father' -at least that's properly dramatic! It's just sort of an. oh. okay. fuck.
i dunno. this wasn't going anywhere. i just...man. they'd both kill for each other, i am confident in that much, but both seem to struggle pretty hard with the 'living for each other' part.

Oh look at me making another story idea or maybe a one shot? Either way here goes, you and Miguel were in a relationship for like 3 to 4 years you guys were going through some things because he had new job but he didn't spend enough time with you and always stressed from working but you understood but you also noticing that he was drifting from you and your relationship it also did not help that his new assistant who happened to be his brother's girlfriend Dana
(hehe same name as mine)
started to flirt with him a lot Miguel didn't take it seriously saying that you were being paranoid but one day when you come to his job to bring him something to eat on your anniversary only to see him and her getting freaky 😔 you pack everything and leave without a word just pictures of him and her together in his office left on the kitchen counter in your shared apartment.
you find out two weeks later that you were pregnant which freaked you out because you did not think that you could get pregnant you are always told that because of how your body was there was no chance if you ever having children then boom you find out that you're pregnant so you spend the whole entire year focusing on yourself and your newborn daughter which you named Gabriella O'Hara.
Again years later you than find out that your best friend Mary Jane Watson was getting married so you decided to come back home to New York for the engagement party and visit when you get there everyone is shocked and surprised and find out that you had a daughter you were in a not really good shape to really talk to anyone you basically just kind of stopped talking to everyone after the break up with Miguel and cheating so yeah this was their first time meeting your daughter they knew she existed just never got the chance to meet her face to face ( they video called ) you find out from Gabriel that Miguel and Dana were engaged not surprised just did not care (yes tf you do😭💔❤️‍🩹😭)
after losing your daughter in a crowd unfortunately she meets her father who is surprised to see a little girl that just looked like him but had your eyes and your nose that's when he put the pieces together (yeah you fucked up dude)
after spending a night with Dana he comes back to your shared apartment and sees the note left behind and the pictures of him in Dana together he freaks out tries to contact you but no avail tries to contact other people but they also don't know where you are and know what he did so even if they did know where you were they wouldn't tell them so yeah he was like in a really emotional state throwing things hurting himself he was just really pissed off
But you did not want him to know about you being pregnant and yeah I know it sounds bad but Miguel had really bad anger issues after getting his new high paying job which thankfully he started seeking help with after you left and he seeks comfort in Dana (idiot) which led to them being engaged, he was invited to Peter's engagement party that's when he met your daughter because she had bumped into him which wasn't their first meeting (Gabriella was playing a field with her soccer ball that's when Miguel saw her and thought she was a lost child and just started playing soccer with her Gabriella does mention that she did make a friend but you did not know that it was your ex bf,
Being scared you say your goodbyes quickly leaving the party Miguel chased after you trying to get answers but you were gone again, you had a panic attack ,
worried that he was going to take your daughter from you and he would fight for full custody which you wouldn't blame him for but you also thought it was unreasonable seeing as he showed little interest in having children mostly because of his past with his family but when you left he started fantasizing at the idea of you two married and having children he would have loved to adopt, so to find out that you had a daughter and kept it fr him broke his heart
so yes he now knows that he has a daughter and he might be fighting for custody if you are willing to agree to let him get to know Gabriella oh yeah and his brother knows about his daughter he kept it a secret, basically is petty revenge for yaknow hooking up with his girlfriend
now Miguel is trying to fix everything trying to win back your affection and apologize for everything he's done in the past which is just going to be really hard to do on both ends hopefully they both try to resolve their issues for their daughter's sake who just wants both her parents back together.
Drama and Angst y'all when I first found out about Miguel story I found out on tiktok that he cheated with his brothers girlfriend I was like wow bro that's fucked up and I haven't really seen anyone make any Miguel X reader cheating stories yet so I was like okay let's do this

hello hope you have a wonderful day I thought about that weird farmer story and I couldn’t not stop thinking about it and since it is the cursed day that monsters like to come out from you know what I mean Halloween , can I please have a spouse from each of starter valley and expansion and ridgeside village …Jio, finding the farmer sleeping in one of the forests Ponds unconscious from the event of the night while the water is mixing with the blood on their clothes , but as soon as they approach to see if the farmer is hurt, the farmer attack them before falling unconscious again .
and one more thing please continue writing those stories I cannot stop reading them and you’r writing style is wonderful and I hope you have a wonderful and spooky day.

Unfortunately, the Farmer managed to hurt Shane when he, all worried, was pulling his spouse out of the shallow pond. He didn't care about clay, rocks and all kinds of mud, but Shane involuntarily let go of Farmer when they, suddenly attacking, accidentally scratched him on the cheek with their fingernails. He isn't angry tho, just even more worried about them. Now he knows roughly what it was like for the farmer to drag him themself when he was near that cliff.....
Even in this situation, even after the attack, Leah has not lost her composure. The artist realises that her spouse is probably more frightened and confused than she is. Leah will quickly examine them, help them if there are serious wounds, and carry them on her back to at least someone's house. It would be easier to call for help there than in the dark forest.
Penny cried out in despair when she found her missing spouse unconscious, wet, all their clothes damp with mud and blood. And after they suddenly pounced on the girl like a predator, Penny screamed so heartbreakingly that anyone's blood would run cold in their veins. Both fell unconscious (Penny - from horror and shock). People will have to look for the two of them now.
Sam's reflexes are good. As soon as he saw Farmer in the shallow pond and ran to their aid, he bounced like a lynx away from the same Farmer, who woke up abruptly and attacked the confused Sam. Whatever happens, the young musician is determined to help them, even if it means risking his own life. He hopes he has the strength to quickly get his spouse to the Harvey's Clinic in time.
Who would have thought that Sebastian would unwittingly become a horror film character, as in "It Howls in the Rain". Spending an entire day searching for his missing spouse, only to find them near a pond in mud and blood, and then dodging them as they attacked him. But, fortunately for Farmer, Sebastian, even after the shock, will not behave stupidly, as in the same horror films, and will call friends and relatives, asking for help.
Haley froze in horror at the sight of her poor spouse, the way deer usually freeze at the sight of bright car headlights. The girl was paralysed with fear, though she realised they needed help. But no sooner had Haley pulled herself together than the Farmers began to rise from the pond: in torn clothes, wet and....? What was wrong with them? Why aren't they responding to Haley's call? Have they... fell again?! Now she finally came to senses and quickly ran over to them, checking their condition. She need to get her sister on the phone right away and call for help.
Emily couldn't stop praying to Yoba that Farmer would be all right. She was so worried her spouse had disappeared. Now, she finds them by the pond, soaked and bloody. Had they been attacked by forest animals? The wounds aren't too deep, so it's not serious. Of course, she was shocked by the Farmer's attack, but Emily thinks it's just the Farmer not yet realising what's happened. They probably mistook Emily for a forest animal and tried to defend themselves.
Poor Alex feels awful when he almost punched his already injured spouse in the face, but they gave him such a fright! Not only was he worried and digging through almost the entire Valley looking for them, but the Farmer abruptly stood up, all in wet clothes, and attacked him. Truthfully, the fact that they fell unconscious again didn't make it any easier on Alex's heart. Good thing Alex had nice physical strength, so it would be easy for him to deliver his love to the local doctor.
Fight or flight, fight or flight.... Abigail shouldn't have chosen any of these options at all! But after her spouse attacked her near that pond in the night woods, Abby couldn't help herself: her instincts kicked in first. Fortunately, the Farmer's attack ended as quickly as it began, and the purple-haired girl hopes she won't have to fight her own spouse while she's on the phone asking her friends for aid.
Yoba, pity Elliott's poor heart, he's almost grey with fear! All this time to look for his spouse who suddenly disappeared, and to find them here, in the woods, near the pond in dirty and wet clothes?! So now there's this sudden attack. Honestly, Elliott's whole life flashed before his eyes! He'll be screaming for help and waiting for someone to come to him and Farmer.
It was not enough that Harvey had had a mini heart attack when he found his beloved spouse in such a state, but he was about to have a real one when Farmer jumped on him like a wild beast. The poor man is trembling and worried about them, but when it came to treating the wounds, here Harvey showed all his cold-bloodedness. The Doctor realises that even though he himself is frightened by Farmer's physical condition (and maybe even mental), he must help them as soon as possible.
Don't panic.... Just don't panic. You have to give Maru credit, she held up well and didn't panic when she caught Farmer unconscious in the pond. There's a pulse, there's breathing, they even managed to come to their senses (even though they attacked her)... They're alive, and that's the main thing. Now Maru needs to give her dear spouse first aid and call Harvey to report the emergency. The main thing is not to panic...

Your thoughts on semblances are fascinating! Have you pondered the possible semblance our favorite war machine magical girl Penny might’ve had? If she’d had the time to discover it for herself. Thoughts on why she didn’t have a semblance?
i think the answer to why she never manifested a semblance is probably right there: she was built to be a weapon of war. the atlesian military built a robotic super-soldier and then gave it the soul of an idealistic young girl who just wanted everyone—including herself—to be safe, free, and happy. she was was kept isolated and taught to expect harsh rejection from anyone who found out she wasn’t a “real girl,” then murdered to make a political statement, then brought back and isolated again and made responsible for the safety of an entire city where civilian self-defense is criminalized. whatever her semblance might have been, penny wasn’t going to find it while being crushed in the jaws of that machine.
this is not true of every character, but it is true of a lot: a character’s semblance often reflects or represents how they deal with problems. when ruby’s on her game, she thinks miles ahead of anyone else and zips around obstacles like they’re not even there—when she isn’t, she falls apart and runs away. yang takes whatever life throws at her and finds strength in adversity through sheer refusal to give up. blake knows how to mask her vulnerability and retreats from things she isn’t ready to face, but when she is ready she’ll fling herself headlong at the problem with everything she has. jaune doesn’t care what happens to him, but he’ll do anything for his friends. ironwood will sacrifice whatever it takes to achieve his ends, no matter the cost. et cetera.
penny is a character so defined by the unstoppable force-meets-immovable object struggle between duty and desire, what she needs to do versus what she wants to do versus what she’s able to do, that i feel any semblance posited for her has to speak to that somehow or another to feel right for her.
how does penny deal with her problems? how does she try to extricate herself from between the rock and the hard place?
tries to have the rock and eat the hard place too, mainly. penny needs to be the protector of mantle and she wants friends, which the protector of mantle “doesn’t have time for,” so she tries to befriend everyone up and down her chain of command. but when the chips are down and penny has to make a choice, she chooses to do what she wants—holds her best friend in her final thoughts so she can say goodbye, rather than take the pragmatic/strategically correct option of giving the magic to weiss.
and. there is also: “let me take the relic to salem, and maybe she will call off her attack on the kingdom.”
penny is at best passively suicidal in v8 and i do think that influences her thinking here, but also—it’s safe to assume team rwby looped jnor in on what went down in ironwood’s office, including salem offering the terms of her siege, because oscar’s response (“i don’t think we can trust salem to actually do that”) suggests awareness of what salem said (“the people of atlas have suffered enough; surrender the lamp and the staff to me, and they needn’t suffer any further.”)
everyone else takes it for granted that salem is lying through her teeth. penny does not. she doesn’t take salem at her word either—maybe she will call off her attack—but she is the only character who even considers that salem might have been honest. as the winter maiden, penny is also the one who gets final say over whether or not that vault is opened, and it is her responsibility to decide. her instinct, in this situation, with this burden on her shoulders, is to spend a lot of time quietly thinking about it in the corner while everyone else quarrels, and then hesitantly question the assumption that salem cannot be negotiated with. oscar shuts that down and yang adds “no one is turning you over to anybody” (notice how penny goes from active subject to passive object there? “let me take the relic to salem” -> “no one’s turning you over.”) so nothing comes of it.
but it’s uh. probably not an accident that Penny Polendina is the first Good Guy to consider taking a risk on salem.
and i think it’s instructive to imagine how things might have gone if penny put her foot down and said no, let’s really talk about this. because “let me take the relic to salem” does not mean “let me deliver the relic to salem on a silver platter and then lie down for cinder fall to kill me” necessarily, penny is thinking in terms of a bargaining chip, and this is penny we’re talking about. penny is not a pushover penny is absolutely, one hundred percent, the kind of person who would have flown up there with the staff and very bluntly demanded to know Why Salem Is Doing This and Will She Really Leave If Penny Gives Her The Staff. and then done her level best to explode the whale if she didn’t find salem’s answers persuasive.
which—bringing this back to the question at hand—is sort of the distilled essence of how penny Deals With Things when she’s acting in accordance with her own best judgment. see also, amity, and “i can fix this,” and holding up an entire satellite on her shoulders.
she does not do half measures or harm reduction or damage control; she does i can fix this. she does maybe i can get salem to turn around and leave.
unstoppable force, immovable object.
so what’s her semblance? how do we convey this essence symbolically? (there is the obvious answer of just taking “immovable force” literally, but i don’t think penny would have a combat-oriented semblance for thematic reasons.)
have you ever heard of the pinocchio paradox? it’s a variant of the liar’s paradox (“this sentence is false”) occurring when pinocchio says “my nose grows now”—if it is true, then his nose does not grow, which means he is lying, which means his nose does grow, which means he is telling the truth and so forth. there is, i think, some appealing thematic strings to pluck here in that it’s a fairly common trope in science fiction for artificial intelligences to be stymied by liar’s paradoxes; penny, being a person, would not have this problem. likewise she is honest to a fault whereas pinocchio is, famously, a liar. and infinite regress is an unstoppable force of a kind.
what’s the immovable force? how do you solve the liar’s paradox? there are many ways, some more interesting than others, but one is to reject the bivalent logic and conclude that the statement is neither true nor false. take the excluded middle road. if the unstoppable force is true-false-true-false-true-false in a vicious spiral, the immovable object might be equivocation. maybe. it depends.
i tend to think penny’s semblance would entail splitting the difference in some form or another. the thorny piece for me is deciding in what form and context, because again i think for thematic reasons it can’t be combat-oriented. some way of refusing a fight is conceptually interesting to me; something like creating a space or a moment where violence isn’t just not the answer but isn’t possible. maybe a sort of reverse of gus caspian’s semblance, a wind that banishes volatile feelings and brings emotional clarity. an answer to “i do not like it when friends fight.”
