Got a new dnd character made for an upcoming game in spell jammer setting. Name’s Kel Neos, a young exiled prince who’s charismatic and cocky. Still a kid at heart, Kel doesn’t like to dwell on the stressful things in life and enjoys to make life just a bit easier on others if he can. He comes from a royal family who believes those they rule are meant to provide them with wealth and are nothing more than tools in their ever growing empire. Kel, however, doesn’t see people as such. Growing up he did not understand his parent’s views and failed to fall in line with their strict rules and way of life. Disappointed in Kel, his parents exiled him with the goal of hoping he’ll learn why they are the way that they are. Kel aims to prove to his family that there’s other ways to live and hopes to open their eyes to the possibility of spreading care and joy to others. This charismatic young lad knows little of how the world works, but the fun is only beginning.

Starting at level 3, I’m running Kel as an arcane trickster rogue with the idea of his spells being ways he can slip out of situations and his personality being more aligned to being carefree. Of course, he cares deeply about others and as such I’ve given him cantrips fit for entertaining people. (The idea of casting minor illusion to put a smile on passing children’s faces was a big check box when making Kel.)

im not all the way done with ep 2 of mismag but it feels like maybe magic broke because it needs the whimsy & imagination of the wizard world in s1. just the way aabria describes failures as like "you think of all the things that need to happen for there to be ice under this salamander" it feels like maybe too much 'common fucking sense' has thrown magic out of whack.

Running a D&D game and the players dun fucked up and got warped back 10 years in time while on a timed escort mission.

One guy is from the Astral Sea where you don't age or need sustenance to live. If they can't solve their time travel problem... they are going to stay there with him for 10 years and return to complete the mission later.

They are all chanting "SPACE PIRATES!" in the Discord.

It looks like my partner and I have to plan a bit of a campaign detour...

Alright yeahhhhh I'm on the pipelineeeeee I've been converted from just an evsam shipper to a full on pilotcule guy....... I cant keep ignoring the subtext I fear....... like YEAH the dog brain spell stuff and like.... EVERYTHING that happened there..... but ALSO Jammer grabbing evan by the waist (while he was fully naked???) and going "come with me if you want to live" and then trying to justify it by saying it's just the trope like okayyyyy and THAT'S the one you picked??????? i know what you are .jpg etc etc...... K and Sam flirting through the Greys Anatomy bit and K carrying Sam out of the exploding building...... theres more examples for all of their interpersonal relationships but im spinning too much dude......... epitome of sometimes u need a friend group thats gay as hell..... maybe the deep romantic bonds were the friends we made along the way....... ignore me bro im rambling....
