Hey guys! I got a Spanish 🇪🇸 surprise for you today! After the last Spanish brandy that I tried was a bit of a let down, my friend @bevvietime recommend that I try this Torres Spanish brandy. I could not find the 20y Torres, but I tasted the 15y in Barcelona and loved it! And when I saw this 10y one in the duty-free I just had to get it 😁 This one is also very good! Double cocktail Sunday? Yes! Apparently, there's a thing known as a#challengecocktail . I was challenged by @garnish_girl to come up with a drink that involves sesame. I give you the: "Chain Letter" 1 1/2 oz Soberano Brandy 1 oz sesame seed syrup (toasted white) 3/4 oz lemon juice 1/2 oz Edmond Briottet Crème de Banane 1/4 oz Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur Shake vigorously, etc... Hey guys! Do you drink anything else other than whis(e)y? What else do you drink? What do you do when in a Spanish castle? You drink the king's brandy of course! 😄 Since am visiting Spain I thought why not try out some of the local stuff, so I tried this Carlos I Spanish brandy. I will be honest with you, I did not like it a lot. I mean, the Spanish have a lot going for them, sadly, this brandy was not very good, at least it was not to my liking. Though it is the Gran Reserva Brandy de Jerez edition (it's also an XO) it didn't work for me, it did not have that pop, that spice I was looking for. Many reviewers rank this brandy pretty high, but for me it didn't have that rich caramel and vanilla I was expecting nor the fruit zest. But maybe you had a different experience. Has anyone else tasted this one?
