Am crezut mereu că sunt o femeie puternică, dar am devenit cu adevărat o femeie puternică abia atunci când a trebuit să îmi şterg singură suferinţa de pe faţă, să mă ridic şi să merg mai departe.Până atunci mi-am permis luxul de a fi slabă în braţele cuiva şi mi s-a dat voie să am momente de răgaz. Dar când nu mai ai în braţele cui să fii slab? Când nu mai ai cui să îi spui ce te apasă? Ce faci când celorlalţi nu le pasă decât de ei? Ai avut vreodată impresia că tu eşti omul potrivit la momentrul potrivit pentru toţi, iar pentru tine nu e nimeni la locul potrivit atunci când ai nevoie? Atunci când nu mai are cine să fie puternic pentru tine trebuie să fi puternică de una singură. Atunci când nu mai e nimeni lângă tine să te ridice, poţi alege să rămâi la pământ sau să te ridici de una singură. lSingurătatea e cel mai aspru profesor al vieţii, dar te ajută să îţi afli limitele pentru ca mai apoi să te determine să le depăşeşti.Oamenii nu ţin cont niciodată de momentele în care le-ai fost alături, dar şi le-ar aminti cu lux de amănunte pe cele în care nu i-ai putut ajuta. Sunt persoane pentru care contezi exact atât cât ai ceva de oferit, un sfat, o vorbă bună, o consolare, poate ceva mai mult. Persoane care te lasă în spate şi îşi văd de vieţile lor atunci când ai cea mai mare nevoie de sprijin. Şi aşa se face că de fiecare dată trebuie să te ridici singură, să înveţi să o iei de la început şi poate să înveţi de ce e încrederea atât de scumpă!
