you’re sprawled on couch, so naturally jj takes the floor — his back against it, arms resting on his knees as he stares ahead. the room is smoky, john b sure to complain about the the two of you stinking out the chateau with jj’s dealers special brand of weed you were trying, and jj is on his third ramble of the evening— your slow and hazy brain trying to follow along, watching the back of his messy blonde head of hair bob with expression.
“and like… talkin’ to people man, like actually having a real, heart to heart conversation with people was like woah, that’s like — that’s what life’s about dude. sorry,” he clears his throat, briefly twisting his body to hold up an apologetic hand. “dudette. anyways, i remember like bein’ at the beach, and i saw this dude who was just covered in bandaids, and i was like dude what the hell. like no judgment n’all but why are you covered in bandaids did you get attacked by a single piece of printer paper or some shit? and he was like oh dude, i pennyboard. and i was like pennyboard? dude i haven’t heard of those since i was like thirteen. they lowkey fell off. i actually had a blue one with pink wheels and—”
“jayj what are you talking about?” you lift your head from the headrest with a giggle, watching him swivel round off guard, blinking at you with bright pink scleras.
“wha’— i was… wait.” a grin spreads on his face and you swear its in slow motion, because half way through you start to smile ever bigger too, until the two of you are laughing. he turns around completely so he’s on his knees beside the couch, presses his palms into the couch cushion and lifts himself to hover over you. “y’know what? totally doesn’t matter. what matters is…” he drops a long kiss to your lips and it feels like heaven under the influence. “you, and that very pretty mouth.”
“you’re bonkers, jayj.” you hum, content.
“chh—yeah, bonkers for you girl.” he scoffs before accidentally tumbling on top of you. “oop, my bad.”

I love you too! okay no problem, this is my first time writing for a non-cis reader I tried reading fanfiction to get an idea. I really hope I didn't offend anyone, sorry for the squeaky scenario
Angst !
Tumblr media
Headcanon
•you are a perfect couple
• everything was going well, very well. Until he asked you to go further
• the scars from the operation are still fresh, you are ashamed
• you tell him no, he says he'll wait
• one day you were alone cuddling when he started kissing you
• you started to go further, you were confident until he saw
• you cried
• you told him that yes you changed gender, that it was complicated for you at the time and that now that it was done you didn't want to talk about it anymore
• he told you he wouldn't tell you about it, no matter how you feel he loves you
• it's so cute
• From that day on you were no longer ashamed with him and you did it several times each time he told you that he loved you and that you should not doubt yourself

IGHT DREAM PART 2!!!!!!! YAYYYYY IM ACTUALLY WRITING.
same warnings as last time: mentions of drugging, non/dub con (not a lot of negative internal monologue but reader is more physically against it), james is a softie (yandere kinda), use of toys, gangbang, blood, ya get the gist
p in v and all the good stuff will be in the next part! <3
sorry dudes, dudettes, and dudoes, got lost in the depression sauce for about since birth a month (??) and i have done no writing. buckle up buttercups cuz i am sleep deprived, lexapro-riddled, and fucking batshit.
Cowering seems like a pretty good move. I sit up and use my legs to scoot me closer to the wall, feeling the damp cement sting my bruises. I'm tired, sore, and ever so desperate. Confused, too. I feel 4 pairs of eyes watch my movements, observing, noticing, deciding. I don't get a moment to myself. Before I know it, two arms are under me, one holding my back and one under my knees.
"Sweet things' already tuckered out."
I hear the tiniest shred of sympathy in James' voice before I feel him walking. I open my eyes and see his face tilted up, navigating the room. He laid me down on what felt like the coldest metal I've ever felt in my life. At this point, I didn't put an ounce of energy into my movements. My previous orgasm and drugged state were draining every last ounce of indignance. I found myself staring at the concrete ceiling (I know, shocker), waiting for someone to speak, move, anything. My lower legs felt like wet bags of sand sewn to my thighs. They hung off the end of the table, swinging slightly, trying to find the floor.A warm hand landed on my shoulder, and then another. Others touched down on my thigh, gently, so as to not disturb my bruises. One of James' hands left my shoulder and held the back of my head so I could see my body, the back of neck prickling from the instant change in temperature. I could see Kirk and Robert with one hand each on my thighs, Robert on the left, Kirk on my right. They were both watching Lars grab a bag from across the room, a black, leather satchel.
"Angel's not gonna know what hit her."
Lars sets the bag down in between Kirk and James before squatting down, opening it, and pulling out what looked like a vibrator. Black silicone, with a gold ring separating the head from the battery and controller part. My eyes widen, and Lars laughs.
"See, just like I said."
The rest roll their eyes and chuckle, before their grips on my skin become tighter, pressing me down onto the table. The toy's buzzing echoed through the room softly. Lars walked to the end of the table before stooping slightly to press the vibrator to my ankle. I gasped at the cold silicone, my hair standing on end. I instinctively jerked my leg, hitting his calf. His leg immediately pinned mine against the leg of the table.
"Oh Angel, you don't want to know what happens to little girls who fight back," he cooed.
"It was an accident!" I croak, trying to keep still.
The vibrator carried on up my leg, drawing circles around my bruises before settling on my vulva. Before I knew what was happening, he cranked the vibrator to the highest setting, and set it directly onto my clit. My whole body jerked but was held fast by their arms.
"Uh! Fuck!" I screamed.
"Lil' bitch can't even take a vibrator!" Kirk laughed.
Oddly enough, his name for me hurt more than the vibrator. Tears welled, threatening to spill over my cheeks. My legs twitched as I screamed, trying to squirm away from the torture. You could barely tell I was moving by how hard they held me down.
"Fuuck! P-please! Stop! Stop!"
"Uh-uh little girl, you don't tell us what to do."
A smug grin flooded James face as he whispered in my ear.
"Fuck. And to think you don't want this." Robert said. He kept on hand on my thigh while he swirled his pointer finger over my stomach. He nodded at Lars, who shifted the vibrator up so my hole was on display.
"So wet for someone who's begging for us to stop," he mocked. He gently pushed his pointer finger inside, making me scream even louder.
"Oh fuck. So tight she would bleed around a fucking pen."
"That's right little girl, keep screaming for Rob." James said before taking his hand off my shoulder and sliding it down my stomach.
His finger soon joined Robert's, thrusting at the same time.
"If she's this fucking tight around two fingers, just imagine how tight she'll be around two dicks." James breathed. Just below the table, I could see his obvious bulge, looking like it was about to pop both the button and zipper of his jeans.
"There's our girl!" Robert said happily before pulling out his finger to shove in my face. It was covered to the bottom knuckle with smooth, deep blood.
"You a virgin, sweetheart?"
I could barely scream out a yes, but he knew from my shattered words.
"Oh my fucking god. Who picked this one out?" Kirk asked.
Robert raised his eyebrows at Kirk before laughing.
Kirk laughed out, "Props to you, man! Beautiful and a virgin!"
They ignored me as I groaned out, my throat burning from my screams.
"P-please..." Kirk looked my way as the other three continued their assault.
"Keep beggin' sweetheart. You look so fuckin' pretty when your mascara runs."
Over the next few minutes orgasm after orgasm was brutally pulled from me with just the vibrator and their fingers. When Lars finally backed up and pulled the vibrator from my tortured clit, I sighed so loud it sounded like a moan.

Perfectly Flawed - Chapter 18
word count - 2.5k warnings - none. Summary: Lina and Spencer hang out, take 2…
After 2 blissfully boring workdays, I awaken to a bright, cool morning on Saturday. As I go about my morning routine, I put some music on and sing along. After a shower, getting dressed, doing my hair, and a little bit of makeup, I grab something for breakfast.
Checking the time, I let out a happy hum, seeing it was only about 8:45. I finished eating breakfast and quickly brushed my teeth after, making sure not to drop anything on myself all the while. Then I head out and grab my shoes, looking over my outfit in the mirror.
Satisfied with how I look, I grab my purse and coat and start heading out. As I slowly walk down to the sidewalk outside, I pull my phone out to give Spencer a quick text.
Hey, Doc. I'm going to start heading out. Venti black coffee, right?
I had just gotten past the door of my apartment when I got a text back.
Yeah, but just in case I get there before you, a grande mocha is what you usually get, correct?
Eyebrows raising, I type out a reply and start heading to where we're going to meet.
Yeah. How close are you, Doc?
I start walking a little faster, just in case he's already waiting. As I start striding to Starbucks, I get another text.
I'm still on the Metro, so probably not as close as you are.
Grinning, I slow down a little, trying to think of what to text him, when I get another text.
Sorry, I guess I'm just really excited about going book shopping. Especially with a friend. :-)
Smiling down at my phone, I have to quickly side-step walking into a pole. I then send him a reply.
That is absolutely ok with me, Doc, no need to be sorry. :-)
Still grinning, I jog the rest of the way. As I see the door to the coffee shop, I hear a, "Hey, Lina." from behind me. Turning around, I see Spencer walking towards me, a tight smile on his face and hand up in a small wave.
Grinning, I say, "Hey, Doc. Guess you were closer than you thought, huh?"
Breaking into a genuine smile, Spencer chuckles lightly and says, "Yeah, I suppose so. After you." gesturing with his hand to go ahead of him.
Heading into the Starbucks, we get in line to place our orders. Looking at the students that are there studying, I sigh and say, "Oh, thank multiple deities that after next week, I don't have to do that anymore..."
Spencer hums and looks around, then back at me and asks, "Hmm, what, study?"
I nod and say, "Yeah. Well, unless I wanted to, at least." I stop and think, then continue, "And unless I needed to update my license, I suppose..."
Spencer is quiet for a moment, then says, "W-well, I could always help you with that. I-if you want..."
I giggle and say, "Y'know, I may take you up on that offer when the time comes, Doc,"
He smiles at me shily, then steps to the counter and orders. When he steps aside, I tell the cashier my order, and as I go to pay, Spencer says, "Wait a minute, you don't have to-"
"I got this, Spence, don't worry about it," I say with a grin, swiping my card.
The barista behind the counter says, "Man, I wish my girlfriend would do that every once in a while!"
Momentarily stunned, I look over at Spencer, who is also left speechless, then back at the cashier and quickly say, "Oh, no, no, we're just friends."
Spencer nods and says, "Y-yeah, we're friends, we're no-not together. Well, I guess we are together, as in our order, but not, um, not as in, like, romantically."
The barista, whose nametag says 'Jim', says, "Oh, really? Sorry, dude and dudette..."
When we walk over to wait for our drinks, I look over at Spencer and let out a giggle. "What?" he says, eyebrows furrowed.
I take a breath and say, "It's just...I can't recall the last time I've ever been called 'dudette',"
Forehead smoothing over, he lets out a chuckle and says, "Oh, yeah, that's...I can't say I've really ever been called 'dude' before, either."
We're still laughing a little as our names are called. We get our drinks and I wait while Spencer puts sugar in his coffee. "So, did we want to start, or should we sit down?" I ask as he puts a fifth packet in and stirs.
"Oh, uh, we-we can start, I'm ok with that," he says with a small smile.
As we walk out, Spencer and I stroll side by side, and I ask, "So, um, where are we going first?"
"Um, the first one we're going to is really close, it's called 'Storybound'. It's right down the street." he says.
"Oh, cool! Have you visited it before?" I ask, sipping my coffee.
He nods and says, "Yeah, I've checked it out once or twice. Can't say I've been able to get to it very often, but it's a nice shop."
"Here we are," he says while opening the door, and we head in. We see a display of books, and on the other side of the building, a little restaurant is bustling with people.
Looking over the book selection, I murmur, "I have a feeling the books we're looking for won't be here, these look more contemporary..."
Spencer hums and nods, eyes scanning the book covers. I look over the shelves, letting out a quiet, "Huh," when I see that Stephen King is releasing a new book soon.
"You find anything you like, Lina?" Spencer asks, walking over to me.
"Um, not so much, just noticing that King is releasing another novel soon," I say, getting a slightly confused look. "Stephen King," I say, and he nods.
"Oh, right! That makes sense," he says, gesturing at the poster, and giving me a tight smile.
I giggle, and we start walking out. "W-what?" he asks hesitantly.
I shake my head and say, "Nothing bad. I guess I tend to forget that most of what you read, there's no way the authors would be coming out with anything new."
As we head to our second stop, he says, "Hey, I read some contemporary books. Besides, there's a chance some of them might write something new, Bradbury and Vonnegut are still alive."
I chuckle and say, "My apologies, I stand corrected."
After a few moments, I ask, "So, this next place?"
He breaks out into a wide smile, saying, "Ah, now here, we'll probably find something. We're going to Second Story Books. It's a second-hand bookstore, so there's more of a chance we might find some of the books you're looking for."
I squeal excitedly, then say, "Sorry, I love old bookstores. I always feel a bit like an archeologist, like I might dig up some lost treasure of a book..."
He smiles and drinks his coffee, then says, "I know exactly what you mean. I-uh, I didn't really think I'd meet someone who felt the same way. About books, I mean."
I giggle and sip at my coffee, following Spencer to our next destination. Right before we cross the street to get there, we throw away our empty coffee cups. Then we head into the store, and there are books everywhere.
Feeling like a kid in a candy store, I dart from one bookshelf to another, just looking at what there is. After a few minutes, Spencer walks over, biting his lip to keep from chuckling, but failing. "I can show you where the genres you're looking for would be," he softly says with a smile.
"Yeah, OK! Lead on!" I whisper loudly, following closely behind him.
As we scour the shelves, I manage to find a paperback version of 'Picture of Dorian Gray'. I quickly show Spencer, and he smiles and says, "See? I knew you'd find something here."
I continue to search the shelves, running my fingers down the spines as I silently read the titles. I go through several shelves, and bump into Spencer again, who's carefully holding a book as he reads it.
"Oh, sorry. I, uh, I found something. Well, technically, I found two somethings, one for you and one for me. Uh, here, this was one of the ones you were searching for, I believe." he says, closing the book he was reading, keeping a finger in between the pages he was on as a bookmark.
He hands me a book entitled 'The Yellow Wallpaper and Other Stories', and I grin and thank him. As I put it with the other book I found, I asked him, "What'd you find, Doc?"
"Oh, um, a rare printing of War and Peace in the original Russian," he says, showing me the book's cover.
"Wait, you know Russian?" I say, then stop and continue. "I mean, I don't know why that would surprise me, it shouldn't..."
He gives me a small smile, then asks, "Oh, uh, are you ready to check out?"
I chew on my lip and tilt my head, thinking before I say anything. "I-I am, but I'm having a lot of fun, and I kinda don't want to head home just yet..."
He gives me a bigger smile, one that reaches his eyes, and says, "Well, it doesn't have to end just yet if you don't want it to. There's always more bookstores we can check out."
He flushes, looks away, and rubs the back of his neck while saying, "Or-or some other stores. Maybe grab lunch or something?"
Grinning back at him, I reply, "I'd like that a lot, Doc. Do you know of any other nearby bookstores we could go to?"
"I, uh, I believe so, unless stores have changed since the last time I looked at a map of D.C...." he says as we head to the register.
"Oh, uh, I'm afraid I can't help with that. But, we could still check, if you wanted?" I say timidly.
"I'm ok with a little exploring," he says as he pays for his book.
"I'm cool with that, I can't say I've explored the city a whole lot, so it should be an experience," I say, handing over my books to the cashier and paying for them.
Thanking them as they hand me the bag with my books, Spencer says, "I'm pretty sure there was one just a few places down..."
Following him, we walk a block down and find a place called 'Fantom Books', and head inside. As we look over the shelves, we find a bunch of different newer books and a lot of graphic novels.
I walk over to a display sign that says, "The Classics: Updated!" and start looking through the graphic novels there. I turn and say, "Spence, come check this out!"
He strolls over, looks at the sign, then starts looking through the books. Eyebrows scrunched together, he says, "I'm...not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, anything that gets people to read is amazing. But on the other..."
"It kinda wrecks it for you, huh?" I say, looking over at a few there.
"I wouldn't say wrecks it, but it's...not as straightforward a process as I'm used to," he says, then turns and gives me a small smile. "But like I said, if it gets people into reading, how could I complain?" he finishes.
I snort, and then a novel catches my eye. "Oh, no way, I didn't even know this was a thing!" I say excitedly, grabbing the book. "What is it?" Spencer asks, turning to look.
"It's Franz Kafka's 'Metamorphosis'. It, uh, when I was younger, my dad would have me do book reports when I got bored during the summer. I hated the writing part, but I loved the chance to read new books I normally wouldn't have. The last one I wrote before I went off to college was this one..." I say, trailing off, looking at the book and smiling.
I look up, and Spencer smiles, and I say, "It...holds a special place in my heart. It was kinda...the last 'kid' book report I had, I guess." I chuckle, then tuck it under my arm, and look through the other books there.
"Edgar Allen Poe...The Odyssey...The Illiad and The Odyssey...Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde...huh, Murder on the Orient Express." I mumble, holding the last one up to show Spencer, which causes him to grin, and I set it back down.
As I head up to buy the book, Spencer asks, "Hey, it's about lunchtime. Are you getting a little hungry?"
I chuckle and say, "Yeah, a little bit. What'd you have in mind?"
"I'm not really sure, but I know there are a few places close to here, did you want to continue exploring?" he asks with a small grin.
"Sound good, Doc. Lead the way!" I say, following him out.
We pass a few pizza places, a Thai place, and we come to a Chinese place, and I suggest, "Hey, what about there?"
He nods and says, "Sure, let's go."
We head in and order lunch, talking and laughing like we usually do when we have lunch. After we finish eating, we start walking, heading vaguely in the direction of where we started. About halfway there, Spencer asks, "You live close by that Starbucks, right?"
I nod, and he continues, saying, "Well, why don't I just walk you home then? Unless there was somewhere else you were going to go..."
I shake my head. "Nope, just going to do laundry. Luckily, I don't have to leave my building for that!" I say with a giggle. "So, yeah, I'm ok with heading home instead," I say.
Spencer smiles and softly says, "OK, then."
Grinning, I walk along with him. Making our way to my apartment, we continue talking, joking, and laughing. When we reach the front of the building, Spencer smiles and says, "I'm really glad we did this, I think I like just hanging out with you. Um, see you next week?"
I nod and say, "Yeah, I'm sure I'll see you at some point next week. Sorry again about missing out on this interview in Florida. But like I told Penny, after this week, and, well, I guess graduation day, I'm completely done. So, there's that to look forward to."
"Yeah. Good luck on your exams! If you need any help with studying..." he starts, and I laugh.
"I should be good. I'm usually good with tests, so it won't be a problem. See you next week, Doc," I say, bumping my shoulder into his with a grin.
He grins back, saying, "I'll see you next week, Lina,"
I wave as he starts walking away, then turn around and head up to my apartment.

"Can you hear me say your name forever"
Doctor Octavius x Reader
Summary: you've been kidnapped by doc ock to be his new assistant. You had a crush on him, when he was a professor and married, but then life happened, for both of you; today, you are not sure he is the same man you once knew... or is he?
Genre: angst, past trauma
The third chapter is here, my dudes and dudettes!!
It's been a rough month: I started my first job, I am finally graduating after years of studying and suffering and struggling. I might have found a road that I want to pursue. I don't think it will be my only path, I like to keep my options open, but I finally love what I have started (even though it can be hard) for the first time.
But now, lets get down to business! PART 2: Here
Update, a year later:
So, it's been a year! I landed my first job, I graduated AND I managed to finally live in the city! Am I living the dream my 16ish year old had? Maybe.
I definitely am more happy and somehow my life is coming out as something worth experiencing and living, and I really can say, for maybe the first time ever, that I am content.
But enough about me, finally the third chapter is here, written while I was technically working but when the inspiration knoks, you have to answer.
Enjoy ❤
You woken up to the sound of broken glass and forniture smashing. Your sleep was usually bad, but you barely slept in two days and this could no longer go on.
Feeling already your lower back protesting, you slowly approached the door, mentally planning how to address this situation. Knowing that the doctor is sometimes a bit unstable, you really want to risk your face for a tantrum? What if there was spiderman behind that door? She wanted to be free, didn't she?
Your hands trembled on the doorknob, pondering. Then, suddenly, all the noise stopped. After the longest count to ten ever existed, you open the door, fear and curiosity mixing in a strange way, making your body shiver even thought it wasn't could outside. You pulled the door and a galaxy of little glass pieces was waiting for your feet. The room was a mess, chairs everywhere with broken lab instruments and stuff. You put on your boots, preparing yourself to enter this mess, knowing that you could've just closed the door, none of it was your problem. Behind a table you saw the professor laying on the floor, his metal arms lying still at his side, and blood covering his hands.
"Doc" you carefully touch his shoulder, feeling the warm skin underneath. 'So he is warm after all'.
Suddenly, you hear him snoring. That's the most human thing he has done in days. Feeling a bit of tension fading away, you burst into a laugh, unable to stop. Otto slowly opens his eyes, but you find yourself unable to stop, and your soft laugh becomes hysterical, your vision blurred from tears.
"What's going on?" His imposing voice full the room.
"I-" You try to answer, but you can't stop laughing, and you can't tell if it's because you are amused by this insane situation.
Probably not.
A pot of emotions was slowly cooking for days, and somehow they found a way out.
"Why are you crying?" His voice was demanding, but a hint of apprehension was there.
"Really, I don't know" 'liar' you instantly think. You were scared to death by this situation, but you would gladly die instead of saying this in front of him, out loud. You had realized, before opening that door, that you were concerned and scared for him, but also because of him. You were falling, really was that simple but also terrifying. You know he doesn't believe you, but he slowly put his hands on your arms, almost scared you would run away.
"I did all this, didn't I?"
You nod.
"Usually, I wait for this episodes with joy, because my arms stay asleep for hours. I missed this silence in my head".
He briefly looked at his metal arms, permanently fused with his body. Your eyes linger on his chest, his scars, his hands stroking slowly your arms.
"I'm sorry" he whispers, his voice breaking.
You don't know how to respond.
"I'll take you back home" his hands grabbing your arms "now, before they wake up"
Your eyes goes back up, widening.
You want to speak, but he is already putting you on your feet.
"Doc" you try to speak, at least say something.
"What was I thinking? So much of a genius, and I take these decisions"
All you can think was that when a villain doesn't want you. Nobody wants you.
You already knew this, but every time someone reminds you of this, you die a little bit more inside.
Also, you were so sleep deprived that something breaks and you start crying, again.
Could this situation be more pathetic?
"You can't say here. It's not safe and it's not right for you" Otto kept saying while you were crying. The fact is that in your sad pathetic life this was the most terrifying and exciting thing that happened to you in a while. How sad your life must be?
You tried to keep it all inside.
"Doc I have literally nowhere to go. You saw my life and I suspect you choose me specifically for this. No one would come looking for me".
As much as those words hurt, they were true. Despite all his good intentions, he couldn't replicate to that logic. He could've be your best option to turn your life around, even thought he's one of the most dangerous man alive.
He stayed silent for a very long time, thinking about possible answers to yous situation. Eventually, he was defeated.
"As much as it pains me to admit this... you are right, and I am so sorry" you looked him in the eyes, and you could tell he was sincere. Not having a cacophony of voices in your head makes his face much more softer, and you could tell. But that moment soon vanished, and a new, heavy thought entered his synapses.
"I should be more careful with my children, they could be quite persuasive on a feeble mind. I must not hurt you, ever again" he took your hands, and you noticed for the first time that yours vanished inside his palms.
"Please, don't let me hurt you. Run instead if I can't no longer control myself"
You nodded, feeling a strange feeling in your gut. Something hot slowly pooling inside you. Just one simple touch of his hands, the intimate situation just passed... your mind started racing the second he looked you in the eyes, but you never dared to even master a thought like that.
And now, just like that, your body betrays you.
He was still looking in your eyes, hands hot on yours, his digits slowly brushing your skin. You looked down.
"I promise you that if things go our of hands, I will try to run. It might help me to have spider man number, you know?"
Your old weapon works again: in the blink of a eye you manage to shift the doctors attention from you to that spiderman dude, flying around and making a mess.
"Why would you want his number?" His eyes dark and illegible.
"You know, if things got out of hand... that's all, I promise" you chuckle, trying to keep the moment light.
He gave you a tiny smile, scoffing. "I really don't know what your generation is up to these days" he let go of your hands, trying to stood up.
"Well, If you want to stay here, the first thing you could do is tide up this mess"
"Excuse me?!"
"You know, my arms are stuck like this, they will wake up tonight" he raised his palms in apology.
"So your saying that on top of being an old scientist who is always complaining about younger generations, you are also useless?" You teased him.
His eyes darkened, his smile became a smirk.
"Watch your mouth, young lady. I may be temporary useless, but my mind works just fine"
You mutter an apology and start to clean up while he tried to balance his steel weight on a chair.
The morning flew like this, you trying to not cut yourself with all that glass from lab equipment and him gently reminding you that you missed a spot.
By 12,30 you were ready to kill him.
"Listen up doc, I am tired and hungry, so if you want to clean so badly that spot, YOU SHOULD DO IT YOURSELF" the last bit was just a scream, but he laughed.
"I strained you, didn't I? Let's make something to eat"
You rolled your eyes.
"You mean that I should make something to eat, because you are just a big tin of metal arms stuck in place"
"Hey, there is no need to be rude" he replied, and you could tell he was slightly offended and hurt by the situation. You, on the other hand, was not.
"Hope you fancy some curry with chickpeas, because that's the best thing I can make like this"
He smiled politely. "I will not eat that disgusting thing even if you make me"
"I beg your pardon? The master has requests, I presume" you bowed.
You were looking at the floor for two seconds, but for him it was enough. When you come up, his face was inch from yours, sporting a
mischievous grin. His eyes looked more dark and sharp, and you froze right there.
"Did you have fun joking about me this morning?" He asked, his voice deep and low.
You tried to speak, but your throat was suddenly dry. You just shook your head.
"OH darling, I think you did" his smile widened. "You see, my arms are made from a perfect material, resistant but weights like a feather" he gently brushed your cheek, his eyes lingering over your face and neck.
You felt all your blood rushing to your face but you were unable to even think about a clever response.
"Do you still trust me?" He asks.
You gathered all your energies in that answer.
"Yes"
"Then you are a fool" his hand reached your neck, gently squeezing. "I could simply decide you are nothing, and break you. In my endless research of perfection, I could hurt you. Is this the type of man you would like to assist?"
During this few words, his grip tightened. You could only master the breath to say 'yes' one more time.
He lets you go and air returns in your lungs. You take big gulps of air, still looking him in his eyes. You know that if you stop, this moment will never return and will be simply forgotten as part of this mad day.
"For a person this smart, this is a pretty bad decision" he lowered his sight. "Just... stay out of my arms reach, ok?"
You mentally ask yourself how long is in fact his arms reach, but you stay silent. You just nod.
He gives you a sad smile.
"Now, lets fix you something to eat that doesn't have strange spices in it, shall we?"

I'm Literally Right Here
Miraculous Ladybug | 2018 | 951 | Ao3
Alya slipped up, but it led to a rather painful conversation between our oblivious superheroes. And then a story gets told.
“Crap!”
“Rena why-” A flash lit up the area the four superheroes had taken cover in, leaving a very-civilian Alya Cesaire standing in the center.
“Crap. I should’ve seen that coming and found you separate cover. Sorry.” Ladybug winced. “Trixx, what do you eat?”
“I’m not in the mood for anything particular. Tikki’s snacks always look good though.”
“Right. I’m gonna sneak out and see what I can find. Carapace, Chat, stay here and keep an eye on her, okay?”
“I’m not a kid Ladybug! I-”
“I know you can help without an active Miraculous, but right now, we need to rest and recoup. Stay. ” Ladybug yanked her Yo-yo and flew up and out of sight.
Carapace slumped down against a wall, pulling his hands over his face. “Alya, I swear, if you climb up that fire escape-” Carapace didn’t finish, deciding to just let her know he knew her plan.
“Fine. But like, we are not to speak of this having ever happened, and we are not going to question Ladybug’s decision to give me a Miraculous. Okay? I’ve stopped actively investigating you guys, despite what it the Ladyblog says, and I’ve followed the rules, the entire time. Understood?”
“Good with me,” Carapace replied, pointedly not looking at his girlfriend. “I’d give myself a heart attack if it is brought up again.”
“And if I’m curious?”
“Chat Noir I swear if you don’t stop pestering her,” Carapace threatened.
“No, no, Carapace it’s fine. I guess with how many questions I would have if like, Ladybug ended up being Mylene or something, it should be allowed. But if I don’t like the question I won’t answer, okay?”
“Deal.”
“Okay. Number one; Why do you think LB chose you first? I mean, you’re awesome and all, but as the person behind the Ladyblog, it’s a big risk. What did you do to convince her you were trustworthy?”
“I wish I knew! I wonder about it all the time, but I can’t come up with anything! Maybe I passed a secret test?”
“What if she knows you in real life?”
“Nope. No way. I’d know if she did.”
“So secret test? I dunno. Ladybug and I had to pass one, but that was almost half a day before we were actually needed. I don’t think she’d have time to test you in half an hour.”
Alya stopped to think. “Maybe it’s because of how often I’m involved in Akuma attacks? I mean, I try to be helpful nowadays.”
“Maybe. I still think she knows you as a civilian and trusts you because of that.”
“Fine. Let’s say for a moment Ladybug is, who in my life would she be?”
Carapace raised his head to look at the two superhero fanatics as they gasped. Why-
“Nino!”
Carapace slammed his head back into the wall. Why? Why? Whyyyyyyy? Why him of all people? Why? “Dudes! What even?”
“It makes sense though Carapace! Nino knows be better than anyone other than Marinette! And obviously she’s not Ladybug, and Nino is like super chill and can work with anyone but Mnsr. Agreste and Chloe.”
Laughter started up above them, and all three watched as Ladybug slipped off the roof, laughing her head off. “Did you actually just say what I think you did?”
“Yes we did, Nino.”
Ladybug tossed something at Alya, before dropping to the ground laughing. “Nino? Nino? Oh my gosh!” She moved over to sit beside Carapace, obviously enjoying his pain and the other two’s cluelessness.
“Guys! Nino’s a Dude! Ladybug’s not!”
“Genderfluid is thing.”
“Based on whether or not a Miraculous is active?”
“Probably not. Darn it! Wait, LB! You’re here now! Why’d you pick me as Rena Rouge?”
Ladybug choked, grabbing Carapace’s shoulder with a painful vice grip. “What?”
“Ladybug, Dudette, I need my arm to not be dislocated.”
“Sorry Shells.” Ladybug looked between the other two in disbelief. “You want me to tell you why I picked Alya as a superhero?”
“Yes.” They answered in unison.
Ladybug’s demeanor changed in an instant. All humor drained from her face, and she curled in on herself ever-so-slightly.
“Fine. If you really want to know, Alya was my first choice, because she’d been in line for one since Stoneheart.”
“What?” Alya’s voice was scarily low,
“When the butterflies started taking people over, I thought I had doomed Paris. I thought I couldn’t do it anymore, or at all really, and I rejected my Miraculous. I put it back in the box, and decided to find someone else who could probably pull it off better. There were rumors of a new girl standing up against Chloe, and I decided to check it out. I enlisted a couple people to check your opinion on being a superhero, and then I dropped the earrings into your bag when we passed in the halls between classes.
“I thought that was that. You’d make a good hero, and you wouldn’t mess up.”
“Except, I never got the earrings.”
“No, you didn’t. You ran off without your bag, and when I found a panicking Marinette running around, and found you and Chat losing the battle, I stopped thinking. I put them back on, not planning on keeping them, but planning to clean up my mess.
“Then, after the confrontation with Hawkmoth’s head, and Stoneheart, and talking to Chat, I didn’t take them off again. But I still knew, in my bones if not my head, that you were a hero at heart. Even without a Miraculous you were. Of course I went straight to you when I needed backup.”
No one said anything for a moment, and then Alya rushed at Ladybug, and pulled her into a hug. “Thank you.”

"Is it too much to ask for a guy to pay attention to me the way Yvonne gets attention from Donatello?" She's gonna be needy & jelly, so here you go. ( 87 Irma for either of your boys. before I send over Foot!Leo later :'3 )
| muse interaction
Raph and Mikey were having around the news station waiting for April to finish up with whatever she's was up to in the moment so they figured they kill some time waiting around with Irma. But seemed the poor girl was lost and detressed over her own matters. Matter of the heart it seemed. They both knew the girl was just simply seeking out to find her "dream guy."
Considering how hyped the poor girl got when them, along with Leo, had acted as secret admires to her before only to build and give her false hopes. In the long run, guess thar wants enough to put of the flames of jealousy when Yvoone entered thier lives and seemed to bag a guy with in minutes of being in the country.
Even if it felt like some.bad sitcom epsiode.
"Is it too much to ask for a guy to pay attention to me the way Yvonne gets attention from Donatello?"
Mikey and Raphael shared a look between them a moment, Mikey's own expression fell as he quirked his beak and mulled the thought over. Raph gave a shrug if his shoulders towards them moving to open his beak. Michaelangelo thought perhaps Raph would have something to say that would make Irma feel better. Spread some light on the matter. He shouldn't give his brother that much credit.
Tumblr media
"Sorry sister you are barking up the wrong tree here" is all the red banded turtle tosses out. "I aint got the typical male gaze going on here. I perfee shopping the meat section."
Mikey simply stared at his brother and rolled his eyes. "Forget him Irma, Raphael only attracted to crazy."
Raphael offered no argument to the statement Mikey threw out, just shrugged up his shoulders and happily nodded. Why argue what was facts.
Tumblr media
"ignore him he's fruity than the produce section," Michaelangelo soon assured Irama, turning attention her way. "Irma your great though just haven't come across the right dude whose attetion your just gonna a nab right away I bet. Heck dudette I bet the right guy will just just." He trails off rubbing at his chin as he tries to finish his thought.
Raphael rejoing the conversation jumps in "a fella who'll go complete nuts for ya! I am that's how I am with my bab- with Casey I mean." He chuckles a little smiling at the mere mention. "He'll be totally head over heels for ya, everything will remind him of you, from the beach to air hockey tables." He sighs to himself
Mikey pushing him away to speak up once more "excatly I think?" Hard to say how much of that was just Raph being Raph, however. "But you won't have to work for it. ya don't gotta go chasing after someone just to get love from them, the right guy will just ya know wanna give that to you dudette. You follow?"

A few minutes after Adler leaves, some of you in the audience begin whispering amongst yourselves: "Is he gone?" "Yes. Did you swap his tie?" "I did. Are you sure this will work?" "Of course. That tie came from the Kringle himself. It bears an enchantment forged of pure Christmas magic, ancient and primeval. It functions as a tracking device. No matter where he hides, the Kringle will know exactly where he is. Not only that, but if he tries to pook at any point he'll be sent directly to the Kringle's workshop." "Excellent. And if this succeeds-" "The Kringle will deliver on his end of the bargain. Oscar Meyer Wiener Whistles for all of us." "But I wanted a bag of thirty silver pieces." "Quiet, someone's coming." The Guest Narrator enters and looks around.
Tumblr media
What up, my righteous dudes and dudettes? Whoah, man, you all seem like, pretty tense. Perhaps you are buggin' or illin'? If so, my bad. Sorry to leave you hangin' like that for … oh, however long that was, but I totally needed a minute to get ready for this gig. It's not every day a humble lowfolk dude gets asked to stand in for the king of the elves, you dig? Anyway, I'm totally psyched and pumped to be here, not to mention stoked as well. Who am I? My name's not important; you probably have no idea who I am anyway. Let's just say I'm a huge fan of Adler Young, and I've been like, following his story from the very start. It's a totally bodacious and rad, and perhaps even gnarly honor to be chosen by the big elf himself for this task, and I bet the rest of you wish he trusted you this much. I've got the book and I'll be reading from where we left off. Oh, and for like, the sake of total convenience I'll just stick with first-person narration since that's how this thing is written. Cool? Awesome. Let's get right to it then …
As the Ixies warmed up the witches, I risked a quick peek over the dolmen to see what I would be working with. They seemed to be pretty much exactly what I imagined: A group of awkward social outcasts wearing too much black and too much makeup. A few of them had really bad posture. Hopefully I could help them find the dignity and self-confidence they lacked.
"HARK!" one of the Ixies yelled. They all went silent as if listening for something. When did they have a chance to rehearse this? It was practically perfect!
"He approacheth!" another Ixie declared.
"Cheese it!" a third one exclaimed. "Fly, Sisters, fly! Woe be unto whomsoever is caught lolligagging!"
The Ixies all buzzed away into the bushes, leaving an expectant hush over the stone circle. This was too good! On a sudden whim, I asked the trees to start rustling as if in a stiff breeze.
"There's no wind," one of the witches observed.
"By the Bunny!" someone else whispered. "This is sooo spooky!"
Wait, was she genuinely getting scared? That wasn't what I intended! Time to get down there and start this meet-up properly!
I cast a bright flash-bang with a cloud of smoke in front of the dolmen, and immediately pooked in behind it, then strode forward through the cloud. I glamered my eyes to glow, and magickally amplified my voice to sound thunderous and impressive.
Tumblr media
"Who dares enter my domain?" I coughed through the smoke as a few butterflies flitted around me. "Who are you, that presume to be worthy to stand before me?"
"EEEEEEE!" one of the witches squealed in what might have been terror. "You spoke the truth, young Rebecca!"
"He's cute!" another one added.
"I need crusaders who are pure of heart and of noble of deed," I declared loudly, refusing to be sidetracked by their inappropriate remarks. "I see before me naught but witches and ne'er-do-wells whose hearts overflow with wicked desires!"
I was having trouble seeing, so I dispelled the glowing effect from my eyes and peered hard at my so-called coven.
Tumblr media
"You!" I bellowed, pointing at one and exerting Elfmind on her. "You were willing to sell your immortal soul just so you could bewitch some boy you have a crush on. The most precious thing any being has to offer, and you would squander it for a one night stand?"
The chubby vixen just grinned and gazed at me in gleeful amazement.
"And you!" I shouted, switching my attention to … was she a small bear or a large mouse? "You wanted to learn how to curse your mother's garden so nothing could ever grow there again. You would curse your own mother over nothing but a small list of petty slights?"
"Well duh," the mouse (or was she a bear?) responded.
This wasn't going quite like I had expected.
"You!" I yelled, pointing at the duck in the back. She flinched noticeably, and when I probed with Elfmind, I detected her inwardly reciting, over and over, the mantra "Please don't tell them my secret, please don't tell them my secret, please don't tell them my secret…"
"You harbor a secret so dark," I improvised hastily, "this hallowed place shall not be profaned by the utterance of it."
The duck seemed to almost go limp with relief. What was going on? They didn't seem all that impressed with my mind-reading and my moral judgements! I was at a loss here. There was no choice but to push forward with my performance and hope for the best.
"I am he who is known as LORD RANDALL!" I proclaimed. "I am an agent of Seeliness, and a devout servant of Lady Fuma! I require, nay, DEMAND that my disciples be the same, and…"
"Hey, sweet thing," the bent old opossum crone cackled. "You didn't read my mind yet."

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Glamstar Tales (Story 1): A New Home
Hello, Ry here, and welcome to my FNAF AU, so this is an AU that’s a cross between FNAF 6 and Security Breach, like an alternate telling like What If the Rockstar Animatronics (Minus Lefty) survived that fire, so enjoy
Story opens up right where Pizzeria Simulator ended, but this time, Rockstar Freddy woke up and notices the smoke
Rockstar Freddy: Whoa, whoa! Dudes and Dudette, wake up!
Rockstar Bonnie: Huh?
Rockstar Foxy: Yargh, what’s going on?
Rockstar Chica: Why wake us up Freddy?
Rockstar Freddy: The Pizzeria is on fire!
Rockstar Bonnie: Yo what?!
Rockstar Freddy: We have to evacuate!
Soon, the 4 Rockstars fled the Pizza Place, as the fire rages on
Henry Emily: *on the tape* Don’t keep the devil waiting old friend
The 4 Rockstars hurry to the doors for safety, Helpy also came along as he jumped on Freddy’s Back, as they escape just in time
Rockstar Freddy: That was close
Rockstar Bonnie: Our home.. Gone
Rockstar Freddy: Yargh… The Mediocre Melodies, Music Man, Funtime Chica..
Rockstar Chica: All of them..
Rockstar Freddy: Gone
Rockstar Bonnie: Wait, where’s Helpy?
Helpy: Right here! *he jumps off of Freddy’s back*
Rockstar Bonnie: Phew, what a relief
Rockstar Foxy: Now what do we do Freddy my captain?
Pickles the Parrot: Squawk! What do we do? Squawk!
Rockstar Freddy: Well, we gotta find a new home
Rockstar Chica: R-right!
Rockstar Freddy: Follow me
Soon, the Rockstars and Helpy all began to walk down the road, and away from the Burning Pizzeria as Fire Trucks arrive to put out the fire
Scene transitions to the 4 Rockstars and Helpy arriving at a nearby Gas Station
Rockstar Bonnie: Freddy, we’re a little tired, and besides, it’s gonna rain soon
Rockstar Chica: I agree with Bonnie, we might rust
Rockstar Foxy: You better think of a plan me hearty!
Rockstar Freddy: Alright, we’ll think of something
Helpy: Well there’s our ticket
Rockstar Freddy: Huh?
The 4 Rockstars see a truck, the trailer says Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex
Rockstar Freddy: Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex?
Rockstar Bonnie: Looks big
Rockstar Foxy: Yarg, it gets me vote!
Rockstar Chica: I agree!
Rockstar Freddy: I don’t know guys, it may sound
Truck Driver: Alright, that was a great rest stop, time to get to the Pizzaplex
Rockstar Freddy: We’re going there!
Soon, the 4 Rockstars and Helpy all got in the trailer, as the Truck Driver headed to his truck and drove off to the Pizzaplex
Rockstar Freddy: Once we get in this Pizzaplex, we need to be sure there’s no one else around
Rockstar Bonnie: Right
Soon, the truck arrived at the Pizzaplex and backed up to the loading dock, as the door to the trailer opened
Rockstar Freddy: Alright, go go!
The Rockstars and Helpy all got out of the trailer, right before the Staff Bots began to unload the trailer
Rockstar Bonnie: Yo, that was close
Rockstar Foxy: Yarg, I agree with Bonnie
Rockstar Chica: Me too!
Rockstar Freddy: Look, as long as we are here, we must stick together at once
Suddenly, Rockstar Freddy bumps into Glamrock Freddy
Glamrock Freddy: Hmm? Who’s there?
Rockstar Freddy: Oh sorry about that- *gasp*
Glamrock Freddy: What the?!
Roxanne: Freddy, what’s going on? *shocked*
Glamrock Chica: Do we have a customer- *shocked*
Monty: Yeah, is it show time- *shocked*
The Rockstars and Glamrocks all look at each other face to face
Rockstar Freddy and Glamrock Freddy: Oh my-

Fuuko : Is that so? I guess that apology cake's alright, but sure, I'll take it as appreciation, right after you help me out with washing my abs. My hot shredded abs.
*Record scratch*
Lain : How...dare you...!
Rei : *sighs* Can't we agree this?
Andy : Ladies, ladies. Be fair to each other and not go hostile on ourselves. We're all dudes and dudettes here. Speaking of dudettes, why isn't Julia coming to the Cheesecake Factory?
Fuuko & Andy : *realizing together* OH CRAP! WE FORGOT ABOUT THAT EXPLOSIVE THAT WE FORGOT TO THROW IT OUT!
*Meanwhile...*
Gina : Here, Julia. This is a birthday gift from Mrs Izumo. I hope she could clatter herself with those boxing gloves for the weight class.
Julia : Are you too sure about that? I gotta taste test it first. *About to taste the piece of the pie* Hold on, do you know what this really wanted?
Gina : What's that?
Julia : I could go for some milk with it.
Gina : Yeah, that's really cool. Just be careful not to get yourself hurt and make sure to not stub your toe to the--*Julia trips*
Julia : Oops.
*whistling*
Gina : *in slo-motion* Oh...SHIIIIIII-
*KABOOM*
Julia : I told you. 25 dollars for an explosive pie?
Gina : I did save a lot of money. *coughs*
Julia : Well, you're fired. *collapses*
Gina : I'm not even wearing shoes.
Julia : Then, you're rehired.
Gina : Actually, I do feel little about the shoes.
[Iris out]

Married?
A/N: This was based off of this post check it out. I hope I did it justice and y'all enjoy it. I will do a Part with Damian after this one.
@taewinterbear95 I hope you like it. Sorry it took me a while to write this out.
@maanae Here you go. I hope I did it justice.
@swaggermcjagger hope you like it!
~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~🧵~⚔~
Summary: Everyone finds out that Damian and Marinette are married and freak out.
It had been close to a year since the marriage ceremony between the heir of the League of Assasins and the Grand Guardian of the Order. Marinette and Damian have so far met twice in the time given that they are both straight out of high school and entering University. After the marriage ceremony Marinette had gone back to her usual days. Damian as well went back to going by his usual schedule. It was only at certain times that the two would call each other up and update the other on their everyday life. Marinette would tell him of the new design she has drawn up as well as the clients she is currently working with. Damian would tell her about his pets as well as the new rescues he has hiding from his father.
"Marinette are you ready to go," Adrien asked from her living room.
"Yes, I just need my bag," she said, grabbing her purse.
After making sure that the kwamis were safe and had their snacks the two of the headed out to buy some new fabric Marinette needed. Adrien had volunteered to help her carry the rolls of fabric and other stuff she needed in exchange for some pastries. The two of them chatted basically updating the other on their daily stuff. Once at the fabric shop Marinette made quick work on searching for the fabric.
"Who is the commission for this time," Adrien asked, looking at the colorful material.
"Uncle Jagged, he needs a suite for a wedding his is going to be attending," she said, finding a green material.
"Oh, my husband likes this shade of green. Maybe I should make him something," she said, picking up an emerald green fabric.
"Your husband? Wait you're married since when," Adrien said, shocked.
He tried to remember when Marinette had even started dating and nothing came up. No one had even mentioned her dating someone.
"Yes, I got kidnapped a while back by some assassins and was forced into a magical blood-bound marriage contract with their heir. We meet every chance we get and spare with swords and needles. It's pretty fun," she said, a sigh escaping her lips.
"Wait are you serious how come you never told anyone," Adrien asked, confused.
"It never came up," she said, grabbing some other fabrics.
After getting everything she needed they headed back to her apartment and dropped off her stuff. Chloe had called earlier complaining that they don't see each other enough and wanted to meet for lunch. Chloe had managed to take over her father's hotel and became a well-known businesswoman.
"Adrikins, Mari, you made it," Chloe greeted as the two of them walked into the hotel restaurant.
"Chloe, it's nice to see you too," Marinette said.
"Is everyone else here," Adrien asked, searching for the others.
"Yes, you two are the last ones," Chloe said.
Kagami, Luka, Nino and Alya sat at a table chatting before the other three walked to the table.
"I see you two finally made it," Alya smirked.
"Hello you two," Luka and Kagami greeted.
"Yo, Dude, Dudette finally," Nino grinned.
Adrien and Marinette took their seats and ordered food before catching up. Halfway thru the meal Marinette's phone went off.
"Ah, It's my husband I should answer this," Marinette said, answering her phone.
"Wait, did she say husband," Alya said, shocked.
"HUSBAND," Chloe gasped.
"Hello, Oh I see well I should have time off next week if you wish to come visit. I do not mind. I do have a commission I need to finish for Uncle Jagged. Oh then I shall see you in two days. Yes, I as well," Marinette said before hanging up the phone.
She looked up at her friends all of them with shocked and confused looks on their faces.
"Is something wrong," Marinette asked, confused.
"Since when have you been married," Nino asked, confused.
"I believe today would mark ten months," Marinette answered, taking a sip of her tea.
"How," Alya asked.
"Oh, I got kidnapped a while back by some assassins and was forced into a magical blood-bound marriage contract with their heir. Would you like to see a picture of him," she answered, taking out her phone and pulling up a photo of him.
"This is him; he is planning to visit in two days but would rather spend his time with me than with other people," she said, showing them the picture.
"Wait, Mari that is Damian Wayne. He is Bruce Wayne's son one of the riches man in Gotham," Chloe said, shocked.
"Leave it to Mari-hime to attract the rich," Kagami chuckled.
"Oh, I didn't know that," Marinette said.
"Do we get to meet him when he visits," Adrien asked.
"Of course, you are all family and he has to meet you sooner or later. Mama and Papa already love him," she answered.
"Wait, your parents already met him and know you are married," Alya said, shocked.
"Of course, who do you think supplies the kwamis with their snacks," Marinette said.
"Well, Dudette you sure know how to keep us on our toes," Nino chuckled.
They spent the rest of their day talking about how Marinette and Damian got to where they were and every other little detail leading to it.

Stranger Things - Argyle F! XReader
A/N: Disappeared for a lil while.... oops. Anyway, I'm back so enjoy a fluffy story about my favorite stoner <3
(In this story you're part of the Byers family and moved to California with them after the events of season 3)
El said it had been 185 days since she'd been with Mike, that meant it had been 185 days since you got to Lenora with the rest of your family, and 185 days since you had met the man of your dreams, Argyle. When Joyce ordered pizza the day you moved in you had no idea that you would open the door to the most attractive man you'd ever seen. His hair was longer than yours, you had never seen clothes like his before, he smelled like weed and body spray, and his voice made you forget what you were going to say to him.
"That'll be $6.75."
"OH- um what?' you said, hoping he couldn't see the blush spreading across your face. "I said that'll be $6.75 dude." he said again. You finally snapped out of your trance and handed him the eight dollars Joyce had given you to pay for the pizza. "Sorry um my mind was somewhere else, here, and keep the change." He handed you the pizza with one hand and took the money with the other, "Rad, thanks dude- oh wait, thanks dudette." Then he turned and walked off to his delivery van. You stood there and watched him, mesmerized by him again. You watched him get in the van and drive down the street, until Will walked up behind you, "Helloooooo, hey hey hey, Y/N!" You whipped around to face him, "Yeah hey what?" "Are you going to bring the pizza to the table?" he asked. "Oh yeah, sorry I was just thinking about something." Will rolled his eyes, "Yeah sure, "something"'.
In the last six months you had gotten a lot better at talking to Argyle, probably since he drove you to and from school, and because you walked beside him in the hallways, and because he gave you rides to and from work when you got a job at Surfer Boy Pizza. Today was the last day he was giving you a ride to work before he left with his family for vacation. You were just getting out of the shower when he pulled up in the driveway, he was unusually early today. You opened your window to yell out to him, "Just come inside! I'm nowhere near ready yet!" He nodded and turned off the van, so you shut your window and went back to getting ready. You could hear the front door open, and then Argyles footsteps coming down the hall. You started panicking, you were still in a towel, and he walks fast so you knew he'd be at your door soon. You started rushing and tried to throw on your clothes as fast as you could, you had on your pants and were about to get your work shirt on when the door started to open. "Hey dudette how long are you gonna take? I need to talk to you about somethi-" his eyes dropped to where you were barely holding your shirt up to cover yourself. "Oh I- um sorry bro I-" he tried to get an apology out but kept tripping over his own words. You decided to interrupt him, so he'd stop stuttering, "No it's okay, I told you to come in, I'll just go in my bathroom real quick." You kept your shirt over your chest while you walked into the bathroom, you could feel Argyle still staring at you as you walked away.
You walked out of the bathroom with your work shirt on, Argyle was still standing in your doorway looking at the ground until he heard your footsteps walking towards him. "Hey dude I- uhm I'm sorry I walked in without knocking first I probably should've done that." You walked to your bed to sit down, you picked up a brush and started brushing your hair hoping doing normal things would make all the awkwardness seem casual. "No, it's fine, really. I'm the one that told you to come in like I said before." Argyle walked towards the bed and sat down beside you. You started to talk again to break the silence, "So you said you wanted to talk to me about something? You know before everything got, well awkward." You put a laugh at the end of the sentence to try to ease Argyle, you could tell he was still nervous after walking in on you. "Yeah, I uh, I wanted to tell you something kinda important. Thats why I got here earlier than I normally do." He stared at the floor again for a minute before he continued. "It's not really the right time but, I wanted to uh ask you out on a date. But you know I'm kinda going on vacation tomorrow, so I was uh hoping we could go out when I get back." You froze, the hairbrush only halfway down your hair. You didn't know what to say. You had wanted this for so long but now that it's happening you didn't know what to say. You started freaking out inside. Why didn't you know what to say?? "Uh hey dudette?' You finally unfroze and pulled the brush down the rest of your hair. You breathed in, "Yeah I actually love that idea." You turned to face Argyle as he turned to face you, he slowly leaned in and put his hand on the side of your face and pulled you closer. You leaned in towards him and closed your eyes, then his lips met yours and you wondered if you were dreaming. You both sat there, lips crushed together for what felt like forever, until you felt him pull away. You pulled away at the same time and opened your eyes. He was smiling at you when you opened them, and you smiled back. But the moment had to end when you turned away and caught a glimpse of your watch. "OH GOD! Its 4:15 we're gonna be late!" Argyle's eyes got wide, "Oh shit." He jumped up and grabbed your hand, soon he was pulling you down the hall. Joyce was at her desk on the phone with a customer, and Will was on the couch watching TV. When he saw Argyle holding your hand his eyes got wide and his jaw dropped, then turned into a smile. "Have fun at work!" he called out with a wink. You told him to shut up as you closed the front door behind you. Argyle sped the whole way to the pizza shop, you didn't care how fast he drove today because you were still in awe from what had happened just minutes before. He pulled into his parking space, and you opened your door to jump out. He walked around the van to your side and grabbed your hand again. You were finally going to walk into work holding your surfer boy's hand.

A/N: BIG SHOUT OUT to my fellow Val lover - @kn0xley They are literally the best and were so kind in helping me with looking over this chapter and giving some awesome suggestions and feedback, cause i was ready to delete and start over. Thank you again @kn0xley!!!
So, here we are my dudes and dudettes. It's the confession!!!! ahhhhh!!!! i hope y'all enjoy cause I enjoyed writing this. and yes i did blast this song while I worked, thank you for asking. I have plans for more Val content that I'll share at the end. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy :)
Summary: Valerius has been rather nasty to you the past few days and you finally confront him.
Word Count: ~5,000
Arcana Masterlist
Warnings: SEX!!!!!!!! and confessions in the rain
------------------------------
“Amazing. What you just said was so asinine, I almost believed Edernton was speaking. If you don’t have any actual suggestions, I urge you to hold your tongue. We’ve already heard enough nonsense dribble out of his mouth today, we don’t need it from you as well.” Valerius stared me down from the bridge of his nose, waiting for me to refute.
His words cut through far deeper than they normally did, yet I wasn’t surprised by his ruthless behavior. Over the past week, he had become cold and rather vicious towards me. The sudden change was jarring and I wasn’t sure what I did to upset him. Anytime I tried to approach him, he would find some way to distance himself: A meeting he had to attend, a servant he had to manage, and even going as far as to say he had to assist Edernton with some policies. I tried reflecting on what I had done, but nothing egregious enough came to mind to earn this level of abrasive treatment.
“It was merely an idea, Consul.” I tried to ease him.
“And not a good one. Unsurprising though. You aren’t here for good ideas, you’re here to entertain. So, why don’t you leave until we need another magic show, Magician.” He sneered.
“Why are you saying this? Your hostility is unnecessary.” I wondered with a slight waver in my voice despite my best efforts to keep my emotions at bay. His eyes flickered before he shook his head, his jaw set.
“I’m merely stating the obvious. If you don’t like the truth, then perhaps you shouldn’t be here. This isn’t a place for the weak hearted and thin skinned.”
Since Nadia wasn’t here, the rest of the Courtiers were content with letting our disagreement play out. All except for Harriet, the recently appointed Praetor, who had been trying to please Valerius for weeks to earn his attention. Smelling blood in the water, Harriet’s back straightened as she smirked at me, licking her lips before she spoke.
“The Consul’s right. These matters are of the state, not for the next party. Why don’t you go cook up a spell to make Edernton less lumpen instead, witch?” She chuckled, the others joining in with her, while she watched Valerius for his approval.
Valerius, whose dark brows pinched in annoyance and his glare shifting to her, was ready to turn his tongue-lashing onto the middle-aged noblewoman beside him. I had enough though; my patience running too thin to endure any more of their ridicule. I stood, staring at Valerius as I did so, while a cold shift in the room made everyone fall silent.
“I’m sorry, Valerius. Truly. I don’t know what I did to warrant such cruelty from you. And I wish you would talk to me instead of treating me like this.” I held his gaze as he remained impassive and unreadable. I glanced around the table and stalked my way towards the door, “Since my presence here is unsought, I’ll take my leave.”
I threw the doors open and slammed them behind me with a blast of air. I paused at hearing shouting followed by glass breaking from behind the doors.
“Keep your sycophant, fat nose out of matters that don’t concern you. You worthless bootlicker.” Valerius’ venom-laced voice carried out into the hallway.
I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath to regain my lost control, then headed towards the gardens. This wasn’t the first time Valerius had made me retreat out here this week and I wasn’t sure how much more my heart could take. I focused the hurt I felt into growing the flowers and revitalizing the shrubbery, anything to keep the ache in my chest at bay. Just when I thought he and I were becoming closer, he had to go and do this.
My skin pricked and my bones were pulsing from an unknown flux in power. I scanned the sky for the source in my surge of magic to find dark gray clouds were swallowing the blue sky with the distant rumblings of thunder on the horizon and the air growing heavier with a damp chill. The storm would soon be upon me and I sensed it to be a mighty one.
“What were you thinking?” Valerius stomped up to me with his lips pursed and his nostrils flared. “Apologizing then leaving? Do you have any idea what you’ve done?”
I spared him a sideways glance before walking down the row of flowers, “No, but I’m sure you’re about to enlighten me.” I bloomed the white roses then smelt their fresh fragrance.
Valerius’ nose scrunched as he put himself in front of the flowers to get my full attention, “You can’t submit to them like that. To admit you’re nothing more than a party trick when you’re not, is-,”
“That’s exactly what you said I was.” I snapped. “What? Do you have a sudden change in heart now that we’re alone?”
He shifted his gaze to his feet with a grimace. Fat drops landed on us and he hissed at the cold water seeping through his dark beige robes. He looked up at the sky as he said, “We need to go inside before we’re soaked.”
I rolled my eyes then went back to tending to the flowers, “It’s just water, Valerius. You’ll dry.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.” He went to grab my elbow to take me back inside, but I stepped away from him with the hurt I felt coming forward.
“I should say the same to you.”
He flared out his nostrils and his upper lip curled, “What-,”
“I meant what I said in there.” I spoke over him. “I don’t know what I did to deserve your cruelty. And I’m tired of you avoiding me.” I sucked in a deep breath as I whispered, “I thought we were friends.”
The pouring rain and the occasional boom of thunder lessened the silence between us. He kept opening his mouth then shutting it when no words would come. He shifted from each foot while his brows furrowed. Another clap of thunder rocked through our bodies, making him wince.
“We can talk about this later. Come inside. This storm’s only going to get worse.” He said, his eyes watching the lightning arc between the dark clouds.
“Go inside then.” I huffed while motioning towards the palace. “I’m perfectly fine out here.”
His laugh was bitter as he said, “You’re being such a child right now.”
“And you’re being a fool!” I cried.
We stared at each other, lightning illuminated our faces, as we let ourselves get soaked from the rain. I could feel the hot tears between the mix of chilled rain and I bit my lip to keep my sobs at bay.
“Why do you keep doing this?” I whispered. “I don’t understand. Whenever I start to get too close to you, you shove me away. Why?”
His lips parted with intent to argue with my assessment, but no sharp or bitter words came. He grimaced as he stared at the storm above, “You are so naïve to think that in our line of work we can get close to one another. We can’t.”
“Why can’t we? What is it that you’re so afraid of?” I questioned.
His eyes widened, a flinch went across his stern features as if I struck him. His back straightened as he clenched his fists and looked down at me, “Why can’t we? Because I’m the Consul and you’re the Court Magician. We are in two powerful positions and to allow such pleasures between us, would mean opening ourselves up to ruin. Anyone could take advantage and wield what we have against us. Surely you realize that. You must know what risks there are for people like us.”
I shook my head, “There’s risk, yes, but there’s always a risk with anything. Especially with matters of the heart. You know that’s no reason though. There’s nothing stopping us except ourselves.”
He threw his hands up in the air with a bitter frown, “Gods, you never think, do you? You just rush in, with your heart on your sleeve, unprepared and ignorant to what could happen to you. Do you know the consequences of being seen together? Of what they’ll say?”
“I don’t care. I like being with you. But, not if you keep shoving me away like-,” filth.
I let out a bitter laugh when a harsh realization sank in me, “It’s me. You don’t want to be seen with me. Oh, how they will talk once they realize you’ve been around someone like me. Someone so beneath you. We can’t have that. Can’t be seen with some witch. Because that’s all I am to you, aren’t I? Some wi-,”
“It’s me!” He blurted out, silencing me with a shocked gasp. He turned away to avoid my gaze with a stiff upper lip. “You can’t be seen with me. You may not care what they say about you, but I do. If they saw you with me, they would never respect you. I can’t let you do that to yourself. Not for me.”
“Valerius.” I went closer to him and his eyes widened, his lips parted with a demand for me to stop which he couldn’t voice. His wet hair clung to the sides of his well-defined face and his robes were drenched. I stood within a breath of him as I said, “Let them talk. Let them whisper. Because I have no care for the words they say. All I care about is you.”
His lip trembled as I spoke, his resolve crumbling. “You say I’m a fool, when clearly you’re one too. You would resent being associated with me. To have your name dragged through muck.”
“What do you want, Valerius?” I asked, holding his gaze as he stared into me. “Tell me what you want. Not what you think is best for me.”
His mask slipped, revealing for a brief moment his true feelings. He closed his eyes as he whispered, “You don’t know what you’re asking.”
“Don’t let the fear of what may happen stop you. Because I’m yours, Valerius. You just have to want me too.”
The pelting of rain and rumbles of thunder filled the void as he struggled with his decision. I waited, keeping my pleas of how I so desperately wanted him at bay; how much he meant to me and whatever he decided I would love him, even if he chose to walk away. All I wanted was for him to be happy. His golden eyes hadn’t left mine, his features hard and fighting to not break while his breathing was ragged.
“Damn you, witch.” He muttered as his lips collided with mine like a crack of lightning.
The kiss was anything but gentle, with our teeth knocking and scraping against each other, and our lips cold and wet from the rain. I held his cheek to guide him to where I wanted, to ease his desperation for a moment. His hand found purchase in my hair and around my waist as we melded into one another. His heart was beating almost as fast as mine. His lips were warm and soft while his hold on me was strong to keep me close to him. Our wet bodies pressed against each other and I had never felt more alive than in that moment.
When we broke away, he stared down at me with panting breaths. He cupped my cheek and moved the wet hair stuck on my face away. His cheeks were dusted a soft crimson and a gentleness had soothed the sharpness in his features.
“You’ll come to regret this one day.” He warned.
I smiled while shaking my head, “The only regret I have is not doing this sooner.”
His brows raised in surprise, disbelief, and he kissed me again. A want was bubbling to the surface and he desired more. He laid his forehead against mine, his hand nestled where my jaw joined my neck and his other was wrapped around my lower back. He stroked along my cheek with the tips of his fingers while he calmed himself. A restraint was coming back to keep him in place and he broke apart with a sharp exhale.
“We should get inside.” He grabbed my hand then led me back into the palace.
Servants were unashamed in their open gawking as Valerius hurried us through the palace, our soaked bodies leaving a trail of puddles as we went. He didn’t stop until we were in his room and he pressed me against the closed door. His lips were back on me in heated kisses while he pinned my body against him. His tongue pressed into me then tangled with mine. He was coaxing moans from me with his burning touches along my back and hips.
“Have you put a spell on me, witch? To make me feel this way.” He panted.
I let out a slight chuckle, which sounded closer to a moan, “I was going to ask you the same.”
He groaned and he guided us in front of the fireplace, which I ignited to warm our soaked bodies with a flick of my fingers. Everything felt frantic, desperate, as if the moment would end soon unless we acted now. Perhaps it would. It made me want to sear this moment into my mind even more. The way his hands clawed and shoved away my damp clothes. How his lips never left mine for long and each kiss made my body thrum. I’ll remember most the way he looked at me with such a deep feeling I never thought he was capable of showing. And it was only for me to see.
My chest tightened from those looks and my belly coiled into a burning knot once we were both bare to one another. His slender hands moved over me and he pressed his cool, damp body against me with a hiss then a pleased sigh into the crook of my neck. He nipped along my sensitive flesh as he lowered us to lay on the ground. The firelight illuminated him in such a way, he seemed ethereal above me. His golden eyes like the burning sun and I was consumed whole by his light.
He watched me moan and writhe as he teased a finger into me. His finger swirled and pushed until I couldn’t take the wait any longer.
“Please. I want you.” I begged, my voice soft and wanting.
I could see a shiver pass through him before he gave me a fierce kiss. He eased himself inside me and we were both panting from the joining of our flesh. He never stopped looking at me through half-lidded eyes and he kept our bodies pressed together in a tangle of limbs. The knot grew tighter and I desired to be as close to him as I possibly could.
My magic seeped from my skin and interweaved with him, melding and uniting with his own strands of magic to create a bond. He shuddered and a whimpering moan left him as the bond consumed us with our combined feelings for the other. His emotions were powerful and raw, like a crashing wave threatening to take me to the depths of his vast being, and I savored every sweet moment of it. His beauty extended to every part of him and I wanted to scream praises to all the Gods for letting me experience him; to witness him not as Consul, but as Valerius.
The heat between us was overwhelming and I was getting lost in him. His faint smell of linen and rich spices clung onto him through the musk. His possessive touches squeezed whatever he could grab ahold of as he neared the edge. His luscious hair was falling into disarray and cascaded over me. I pulled him closer to capture his lips, my fingers tangling into his roots as I kissed him.
He moaned as he rutted deep inside, a warmth spreading within me which I welcomed. The knot snapped after feeling his release and I collapsed around him, earning a sharp gasp from him. He laid on me, out of breath and spent. When he did move, it was only enough to look at me. In the firelight, tears glinted at the edges of his eyes as he calmed his ragged breaths.
“Damn you, witch.” He whispered as his fingers brushed along my cheek and into my hair.
A laugh left me like a breath of air as I smiled up at him. I tucked away the long strands of his hair behind his ear then said, “But, I’m your witch, Consul.”
He closed his eyes and hummed, a soft smile formed as he said, “My witch. I like the sounds of that.”
My lips brushed along his cheekbones and down to his jawline, little breaths leaving him every time I touched him. He met my lips with his own, sending a shiver down my spine at how intense he kissed me. He shifted his body to lay to the side of me, still keeping us close together and allowing me to admire him in the fire’s glow. I traced the fine features of his face, enjoying the way he was smiling without him trying to hide it away.
His fingers grazed down my sides then back up again, “What will you do now, witch? Now that you have me in the palm of your hand, what will you do with me?”
I cupped his cheek, my thumb stroking his soft skin, “I never want to let you go.”
“Is that so?” He closed his eyes with a slight chuckle, nuzzling into my palm as he did so. When he opened his eyes again, he had a thoughtful look about him. I wondered what he was thinking of as he stared into my eyes. He kissed me then laid his forehead on mine.
“I’ve never felt this way before.” His admittance was quiet and if he hadn't been so close it would’ve been lost to the crackling of the fire and the pelting of rain against the glass window.
“Like what?”
His fingers swept across my cheek and tucked away my hair with a thoughtful glimmer in his eyes, “Warm. Every piece of me from the inside out feels completely consumed. Like my life was in chaos and now I’ve been thrust out of the storm into this calm.”
“Sounds like love.” I teased with a brush of my nose against his.
He pulled away with pinched brows as he shook his head, “No. That’s what Edernton says when they serve him roasted chicken for dinner. Or when I have a glass after a long day, or when Nadia is pleased with the spells you do for her. No, this feels more than that. So much more than just one simple word. This feeling I have for you is so fierce, to say it’s just love is simply untrue.”
I almost wanted to look away from his heated gaze as he spoke with such fervor. Lightning lit up the room followed by the boom of thunder so loud it rattled the windows. A warm smile came over me as I kissed his palm, “Then let’s not put it to words.”
A breath left him before he pulled me towards him for a searing kiss. I could feel all the emotions he’s kept at bay for so long all rushing to the surface, making me shudder. The soft whimpers and hitched breaths that left him made my head spin and my stomach flutter. I pressed into his chest until I was on top of him, his arms wrapped around me in a tight embrace.
It didn’t take much coaxing to have his member twitching and demanding entrance. To have him inside me again was like I was made whole and I wasn’t afraid to show how much I enjoyed it. With my hand placed on his shoulder and the other on his chest, I rocked my hips into a steady pace while I admired the handsome man below me.
His hair was laid out around him like a halo of black and gold. His pale skin, flawless and dusted in a light red, was glowing from the oranges and yellows of the fire. His full lips, swollen from our exchanges, parted to let out low moans. His golden eyes hadn’t left mine since we closed the bedroom door and I found myself getting dragged into their depths.
“Gods, you’re so beautiful.” I said.
He grinned for a moment before sitting up and shifting me to be on his lap, his lips landing at the crook of my neck. He met my rolling hips with hard thrusts and he trailed down my panting chest to capture one of my breasts into his mouth. I tangled my fingers into his hair as he massaged and sucked on me. He wrapped around the base of my skull to drag me down into a fierce kiss.
The bond we had created was ignited again, strumming between us with rampant energy. All of his touches were like a fire burning across my skin and deep into my being. His breathing picked up and his movements became more urgent.
He moaned into my mouth as we both were lost in the other’s bliss. He laid us back on the ground and kissed all along my neck and shoulder. His hot breath fanned across my skin while his hands ran along my back.
“You’re breathtaking.” He murmured into the crook of my neck. “From the moment I saw you, I couldn’t look away. And trying to stay away was impossible.”
“I thought it was because you were devising ways to get rid of me.” I giggled.
His laughter rumbled the both of us, a pleasant noise similar to a melody sung by bards, which made me smile. He squeezed me against him, “That may have been part of the reason. Foolish, now that I think of it. Should’ve known you’d be too stubborn to leave.”
“I don’t think you were trying too hard though. My charm was already wearing you down.” I giggled when he grabbed my hand to tangle with his.
“You devious witch. Should’ve known that was your plan all along.” He kissed the top of my hand. “I’m now helplessly under your spell.”
I kissed him then nuzzled into the crook of his neck, “As I am yours.”
The storm raged outside while he held me close to him, placing kisses on my hairline while keeping my hand over his heart and squeezing it on occasion. I would’ve been content with laying there with him for the rest of my days, if given the choice.
“We should go to the bath.” He purred once the fire was reduced to smoldering embers.
I hummed in agreement, “We should.”
Saying and doing were two different things though, and we were quite slow in getting ourselves untangled then dressed enough to be seen out in the corridors. He had my arm around his as he led me down an empty hallway towards a dead end. I was about to question where we were going when he guided us through the illusion wall. His smirk was obvious as he took us towards a set of double doors, leading into a private bath.
“Lucio would take me here whenever he didn’t want anyone to see us, or listen in.” Valerius answered the unspoken question.
This secret bath was similar to the bathing chambers just scaled down to only accommodate three or four people. The view was towards the Dark Forest, but the gloomy sky and pouring rain made it impossible to see far. I sensed the magic in the air, tingling my nose and tongue with every breath. The waters were steaming and smelled of roses, white petals floated on the water like they were just placed a few moments ago.
“It’s cozy.” I smirked over my shoulder towards Valerius as I let my robe slip off of me, pooling at my feet. I got into the warm waters and took my place on the stone bench facing the forest. All the while, I felt the heat of his gaze on me never once breaking away. I heard his robe hit the ground followed by him coming into the bath. He took his place next to me, kissing up my shoulder then my neck until he reached my lips. His kiss was soft, less hurried and hungry.
“This is nice.” I said against his plush lips.
“More so with you here.” He smiled as he kissed me again. He cupped water to let run down my chest and my back before saying, “Turn around.”
My brows raised at the playfulness in his voice, but I obeyed his command and shifted my body to face away from him. I felt his smirk on the shell of my ear as he whispered, “Do you trust me?”
A shiver went down my spine from both his question and his hot breath against my skin. I managed a breathless, ‘Yes.’, which earned me a soft kiss on my neck. He guided me back, easing my head into the water and cradling me over his lap while I floated on the surface similar to the petals around us.
“Close your eyes.” He whispered, a gentle smile toying on his lips.
I complied once more and the hand he had under my head began to massage my scalp. I hummed in appreciation from his tender touches and let myself drift away. He worked his fingers through my tangles without once pulling on my hair, taking his time to wash my hair as if it were his own. When he helped me out of the water to sit up again, I felt like I had been in a dream, my mind hazy and warm.
“Thank you.” I smiled at him while he cleaned my back.
He kissed my shoulder, “Take this as my way to make amends for how I’ve been acting lately.”
“Well, in that case.” I smirked at him. “Although, I must admit, you did hurt my feelings when you compared me to Edernton.” I giggled when he groaned at the reminder.
“That was… uncalled for.” He admitted.
“Very. So, I’d say you at least owe me dinner and a bottle of one of the merlots you have stashed away.” I winked.
He laughed, “A high price to pay to earn your forgiveness, witch.” He brought me flush against him and kissed me. He held my gaze as he continued, “A price I’m more than willing to pay.”
I turned around and sat in his lap, “Then let’s get you cleaned up, Consul. You look ragged.”
I helped him undo his hair, freeing it from any knots and tangles from our earlier activities. I admired the length of his locks by letting my fingers run through it. I summoned my magic to knead water into his hair, his eyes rolling back as I did so. The water caressed over him while I kept his mouth occupied with my own. I couldn’t get enough of him: his touch, his taste, his smell. By the time I was done washing him, my body was pulsing and thrumming for him. We helped each other out of the bath, exchanging long kisses and touches on the other’s bare body while doing so.
“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to your magic.” He said while I dried us with a spell. I bit my lip at all the ways I could use my magic on him, but I tucked those ideas away for a later day.
We headed back to his room, surprisingly unseen, and Valerius got us food from the kitchen delivered to us by one of the servants. We went through his expensive bottle of merlot and we were both feeling the effects of the day by the time we were done.
“Will you stay? For the night, I mean.” He stroked the top of my hand, his body rigid while waiting for my answer.
“I’ll stay as long as you want me.” I smiled, which he kissed me for.
We crawled into bed together and my body thrummed from being so close to him. We laid there, taking in the other’s presence in comfortable silence. Our fingers traced patterns in the other’s flesh while I thought of everything which led to this moment. There was a feeling of content in me, like I finally arrived at where I was supposed to be. Right here. In his arms. I closed my eyes and let my magic pull us into an all-consuming embrace. He sighed into me and held me closer to him.
“I was a fool for keeping you away for so long.” He whispered. “Now that you’re here, I never want you to go.”
“That’s a relief. Because I never want to leave.”
He kissed my forehead and with a soft breath said, “Seems we’ve come to an agreement then.”
I giggled, “Seems we have.”
He tightened his hold on me, like I would slip through his grasp if he didn’t hold me tight enough. “Dream of sweet things, my witch. For I know I will of you.”
“Then sweet dreams we’ll both have.”
I let the warmth of him guide me into a peaceful sleep. One with dreams of he and I. Together.
