Having been raised in such an isolated, unique way, it's unsurprising how closely Zahrya clings to the concept of family. His own inspired him day in and day out, giving Zahrya hope for the future each time he looked into his children's eyes. All he wanted now was for all the elves to experience the same. "We have peace now, so we can all be so fortunate. What of you, Soranus? A life in service to all families except your own? It's not what I want for you. Now that you've returned, perhaps you can fall in love as I have."
Soranus could only imagine how jarring and blessed it must have been for Zahrya to have sung at those he deemed unworthy with his fertile song. The sort of union that Zahrya described was at least partly what Titania feared, that her kind would fall in love, and what few of them remained would dwindle out into the tributaries of other species. Soranus wasn't so critical, if the elves were to end then they were to end for something else; though the disquiet in him fed something vengeful in Justice. "You have a very blessed family, few are so fortunate."

Soranus was such a welcome breath of fresh air. Everyone else took the process of childrearing so lightly, but for Zahrya there were few higher priorities. Dawn was the herald of nature, and as its Chancellor he understood that reproduction and survival existed hand in hand. "I sung so many times with suitable and unsuitable matches yet only had fortune once. I took Laer's to the bass and was blessed with a most splendid daughter, but Alastor's physical touch gave me so much more. They may not be elves, but they are miracles regardless."
"Oh Zahrya," he touched the other's cheek lightly, so perfect and wholesome. "you mustn't be so critical, our gift of song is just as potent at procreating as any deep breeding." Intention was everything and Soranus would always be sure that those he came into contact with knew that should the need arise, he would be there to help them usher new life into this world. Soranus adored children, but more than that the future of the Courts as a whole depended on it.

Soranus knew what it was to be a dawn elve. For Zahrya, the concept was new and he was still acclimating to it. But he was their Chancellor and would have to do so quickly. There wasn't time to waste. "Then we'll dedicate ourselves to the goal. Together," he promises, returning Soranus' smile. "They will need our help. Perhaps a meadow with aromatic air to invite the elves for a frolic or a fountain overflowing with my nectar to drink from. If we can show everyone that deep breedings are more pleasurable than the fluid encounters popularized by the Sun Court, then maybe all of Audulë will value legacy as we do."
The notion that there would be more of them, more of the children, more among the courts- truly nothing could have made Soranus more optimistic. He could practically hear Justice rampaging within but instead Soranus took the chancellor's hands in his own and smiled. It felt unnatural now, like his face had forgotten how after so many years of sorrow, but Zahrya had always had his heart in these matters. "You couldn't be more right, I helped with the births of countless fey over the years, I'll be with them as they bring in the next generation as well."

Love, power, and freedom of self were all Zahrya wanted for his children, current and future. To have an elf as great as Soranus vowing devotion to them was a fortuitous sign, one that made Zahrya incredibly happy. "Please, I never want you to stray far again. It's not just me who'll need you..." Zahrya was too ashamed to admit how strenuous his first labors were. He pulled through, but not even the Titan had exhausted him as much as his younger two's birth did. "It makes sense that was the first in some time to grow new life, but these joys must be spread to the other courts as well and maybe beyond."
"That would be my greatest privilege, I'll watch over them whenever you need: they'll never want for anything, I promise." Justice would be quiet so long as children were around, the revenant had a longstanding disdain for youth. Soranus stepped forward and clasped Zahrya's hands between his own. The Dawn elf's eyes sparkled as he looked up at the great chancellor who appeared more as a deity than a simple man. "I can see the life growing inside of you, would you do me honour of permitting me to aid you as you bring them into this world?"

Bright eyes, shimmering hair perpetually swaying in a gentle breeze, and a nimbus of morning light all bolstered Zahrya's beauty to new heights, but he agreed with Soranus. Whatever glow he had about him came from the life he brought into the world and the prospect of creating more. "It really has been so long. So much has changed, but I promise that is not something I'll look away from any longer. I and my entire court will embrace every surprise wholeheartedly. Welcome home." Comforted by Soranus' sentiment, Zahrya returned his warmth with an embrace. "My children are my pride and joy. I would be honored if you held them even once."

"Why Zahrya you're-" Soranus' features softened as he looked upon the chancellor, the elf was radiating. Warm and glowing, he'd heard about the miracles that the chancellor had produced, even now as cold winds blew in from the mountains of the Lunar court, life was springing forth again. It was worthy of celebration. "Zahrya, you're glowing." Soft hands cupped the chancellor's cheeks, he was beautiful, perfect in every way. His mother would have been proud. "Can I meet them? Your children? I'm sorry I've been away I-" Changed. "I've missed you."
