No, but the thing is, when I was reading Harrow the Ninth, I thought it was gonna be an Orpheus situation. I thought Harrow had fucked herself up as a means to an end, that she had a plan to bring Gideon back, that the lobotomizing and everything else was her way of getting into hell to get Gideon out.

It really made me feel some type of way when it finally dawned me that she never thought that far. I mean, you'd think it makes sense that, if GOD tells you something can't be done, you accept it can't be done, BUT IT'S HARROW WE ARE TALKING ABOUT. It is INSANE to me that she just accepted she couldn't undo Gideon's death.

The trauma of living in a death cult really got to this girl. She was so awash in it she couldn't even conceive of living a life with Gideon; a more acceptable death is as far as she could go. Absolutely insane. Harrow is not Orpheus because Harrow never tried climbing back up, she couldn't look back because she never got that far, she went into hell to sit there with Gideon forever, and it just didn't occur to climb back up the stairs.

Hi! this is kinda an art request if u dont mind. And it's angst related, can you draw like where wanda and cosmo obvs have seen for a while how (human) timmy has been treated by his real parents. I just want to see like the "last straw" which lead Cosmo and Wanda wanting them to make Timmy as their own. (IM HAPPY THAT TIMMY HAS A FAMILY THAT LOVES AND CARES FOR HIM)

Cosmo and Wanda have seen humans at their best. They've seen humans at their worst. They've seen anything and everything that they've gone numb and used to what humans get up to.

But nothing's shaken them quite like Timmy's case did. Nothing has ever made a Fairy feel such strong human emotions than what Timmy made them feel, on that one particular night.

The thing that broke Cosmo and Wanda was Timmy himself.

the sandra lynn / fig conversation is driving me Insane. fig saying that sometimes she doesn’t wanna exist as herself at all…not wanting to ask her friends how they see her (because she’s afraid to hear their response) saying that to someone she is a monster and she Cannot stop thinking about it. sandra lynn starting the conversation saying she needs to step up but is also simultaneously taken aback about what fig expresses and doesn’t know how to responds to it and suggests getting ice cream. sandra lynn saying “convincing people they deserve good things is really tough” talking about herself but how it also reflects fig. insane!!

Sirius was all but curled up on the floor, his shoulders heaving with sobs. Carefully, Remus lowered himself on the carpet by his side, delicately putting a hand on his boyfriend’s back.

“Padfoot…” he whispered.

“Why am I crying?” Sirius’s voice was broken. “I shouldn’t cry! I should laugh, I should dance, and celebrate! Why am I crying, Moony?”

Remus carefully passed an arm around Sirius’s waist, pulling him in his arms. Sirius went on sobbing against his neck.

“I’m not sorry,” he said, between the tears. “I’m not, and I never will be, and I’ll never miss her. I was waiting for this moment, I have been waiting for this my whole life! Why am I crying? Why, Moony?”

“It’s alright, my love,” Remus kissed the top of Sirius’s head. “Don’t worry about it. I’m here.”

As Sirius buried his face even more in his chest, Remus looked at the carpet, where the Daily Prophet lay abandoned, opened on the society pages and its main story.

Walburga Black died yesterday after a long illness.
