It had been a busy night at Decades and while she was having fun bartending and making a good amount of money, she also enjoyed the breaks she got especially when they were outside cooling her body down. With a cigarette hanging between her fingers, she walked outside and took a deep breath, taking in the fresh, cold air. Digging into her pockets, she realized she didn’t have her lighter with her. “Shit,” she mumbled to herself before seeing another person standing out there as well. “Hey, do you have a lighter by chance?”

no one: absolutely no one: these girls: almost immediate deep conversation. and scarlett of course was like hey a new girlie swirl who can tell me how pretty i am which initially put sofia off tbh. i swear its the fishing for compliments thing. she just DOES IT . BUTTTTT... while sofia was like ehhh i dont know about this girl . they immediately started talking about other things besides how pretty scarlett thinks she is so that helped them click. not every contestant is going to go for scar almost immediately but sofia gave scar a shot to redeem herself and she did. a plus. i think sofia dug her a littttttllee bit after that. scar has to back up her looks for real.she relies on them too much. just like her dad.

"surprise!" sofia said with a bottle of champagne in one hand and a bottle of tequila in the other. she knew how important this interview was to merritt, it was the job of her dreams and even though it was far away she hoped that she got it. it was a bit difficult for both of them to try and find something after school. thankfully sofia found something close to school with a handful of their other friends deciding to stick around and stay local. "i have a feeling we'll be opening the champagne…" she said with a smile and a small wiggle of her eyebrows. they had done the distance before from both of their internships and even though it took a bit of time for them to get into a schedule but she knew that they had both grown from them and could make it worth it. "if you're feeling ballsy we can still have the tequila but that's just in case they're making you go through another interview." the last thing she wanted was for her to get rejected especially since she knew how hard she had been trying and how badly she wanted this. as she took a seat on her couch in her apartment, she set both bottles down on her coffee table and gave her a wide smile. "c'mon i want to hear all about it. how did it go? did you have that same lady as last time? you said she really liked you."

Helia had kept her distance from the two new witches, though she'd send the Christmas gift package regardless, she simply could not help herself. It had taken a good number of days to get everything ready for everyone, but that didn't matter. She did it every year, and she would continue to do it until she was old and frail.

However, when she did see Sofia appear on the same street she was walking on, she couldn't help but notice a slight tension in the other's shoulders, and she couldn't help reaching for her in that moment either. Yet, before she got close enough to gently call out for Sofia, she stumbled over her own feet, hitting a trash can on the way down. There weren't any people around except for Sofia, and she was sure she'd made some horrible noises on her way down.

these types of events weren’t typically brit’s scene. normally she’d be seen in attendance only in the more formal type of gatherings related to her work. this party however was nothing of the sort. music blared in the background as nepo-babies drank, danced, and overall indulged in the finery that came with privilege. from rising stars to generational socialites, all of the ‘it’ people of the moment appeared to be in attendance. brit felt extremely out of place. sure she was doing well for herself but she wasn’t one of them, she worked for them. that’s the only reason she had been invited anyways; to dress the birthday girl. as her discomfort rose, the curly haired female moved through the heavy crowd, her hazy eyes scanning the crowd. it was then that she spotted a familiar brunette, sofia. the two had shared what brit considered to be a moment at a prior event and she hadn’t stopped thinking about her ever since. pushing her way through the bodies in her way, she called out to sofia with a hint of hesitation. “hey, umm, fancy seeing you here.” real smooth brit.

Jack chuckled softly and gave a slight nod. He knew that her ego was probably taking a hit, having to stay home and admit she was sick, and that was part of the reason he'd shown up as well. He came in and set the food on the counter before moving to sit with her on the couch, easily pulling her into his lap with a small laugh. "No, not dramatic at all." he teased before moving his hand to pet over her hair. "What hurts?"

Sofia liked to be in denial that she was sick, that she could move on and soldier through. But of course that didn't happen, now she was feeling sorry for herself at home in her sweatpants. She felt touched that he had gone out of his way to get her some food, knowing full well she hadn't had anything for over a day. "Oh did they now?" She asked and opened the door wider so he could come inside, collapsing back on to her spot on the couch. "I don't even think I could stomach anything right now. I just want to curl up and die. Not to be dramatic."

as much as sofia wanted to hide in her room at just the thought of another party, this time their house was hosting. after everything that happened with merritt, she assumed the two of them had left off on good terms. she spent the whole night there and even had the brunette walk her back home, promising that they would hang out to no prevail. she hadn't heard anything from her, and she asked many of her sisters if she was overthinking all of this to which they said she'd reach out eventually. it seemed like that never came, and here they were hosting their frat once again. maybe she thought they had too much of a connection, and merritt was just looking for something quick like everyone else. that thought lingered far to long in her head for someone she had only met once. finally she pulled herself out of bed and got dressed in whatever theme they decided on before heading downstairs.

the party was already in full swing once she came downstairs and similar to their first meeting, sofia had a beer in hand and decided to hang in the corner. every now and then she'd engage in conversation, but her eyes were locked on the crowd trying to see if merritt would show up. she was almost done sipping her second beer when she saw another mob of brothers walk in and quickly picked out the brunette from the crowd. her heart sped up as she tried not to stare but it was much easier said than done. there was a huge mix of emotions filling her, excitement that she showed up, anger that she hadn't reached out and had the nerve to show up now. her eyes flickered back down, hoping that she would come over and if not, that one of her sisters or her brothers would push them together.

ever since sofia was young she was lethal with a weapon. while it was very rare to see someone like her become a knight, without any family, without anyone else in her life she did not mind giving it all up to protect the kingdom. there were countless battles and stories that lived up to her reputation but sofia cared for none of it since she already knew how strong she was. after another successful battle, the king had kindly opened his doors for a feast, something that she would never say no to. singing, dancing, and celebrating after something hard fought seemed to make it all worth wild. as she was going to get another drink, she saw the princess out of the corner of her eye and could feel her body stiffen up slightly. she was by far the most beautiful woman she had ever seen, even the small conversations that they had made her tongue-tied which was unlike her. as she saw her approach, she tried to look as presentable as possible, hoping that she'd ignore the bruises and small cuts to her face. "princess." she said with a small nod of her head, already feeling her heart beat faster. "you... uh you look great this evening." she said with a nod as she tried to avoid her eyes. "please thank your father for inviting all of us for dinner... it was very nice of him, and thank you for joining."

Before we get into it i just want to thank you guys again for trusting Scar with your babes! I wishhhhh she could keep them all in and just be with all 18 of them even though i know two in particular that would be like..just let us out of here haha! some relationships never went beyond and you could tell it was just kinda a friend vibe and honestly Scar needs that as well. So even though it pained me to do it..some had to be eliminated just based off of no attraction to her whatsoever. That being said im sure a few of these guys will make some appearances down the line sharing their thoughts and having wee convos with Scar. I cant believe we started this in December and we're just now getting to the first elimination. My least favourite part. Thank you again for participating and sending Scar your loves. Anyways im putting in my ep 6 & 7 eve prediction now

Eve knows Oz is at crown point, but doesnt know that oz’s mom is there.

I think Sofia is gonna track down eve, and eve will spill about crown point. That leads to mama cobb being killed / hurt / attacked, and oz will take it out on eve for spilling

I specifically feel like theres a neat parallel to be drawn to the way Oz told on Sofia, not fully knowing the stakes. Even if he heard the whole convo, Sofia’s realization about Isabella, which is what really turns carmine on her, only happens in her head. Oz doesnt know about her mom.

Similarly Eve thinks its just Oz and Vic and the crew there, people who signed up to die for Oz’s ambition. She doesn’t know about his mom.

Eve’s relationship to Oz does kinda mirror Oz’s to pre arkham Sofia. They are friendly, even protective, but ultimately, transactional. Oz pays Eve. Sofia paid Oz. And both of them didnt think twice about dragging their employee right into a dangerous situation.

It only makes sense to me that they draw this parallel between Oz and Sofia here too.
