You’re not sure why and how but you’re dubbed as The King of Hearts of your dorm, alongside Riddle who is the Queen

Unsure of what to make of this, you ignore it and continue to devote yourself to the Queen just as any normal person would sorry this is kinda satire

Riddle is simply your friend. You cherish him a lot and you respect him and his beliefs. Even when he overblotted, your faith in him is unwavering

Speaking of the overblot, after the whole catastrophe, you’ve grown a lot closer with the other card soldiers, along with the magicless kid named Yuu and their pet (Grim was his name?)

They would greet you from time to time, stop by to have a chat when they’re free and check up on the dorm

One day, they made an offhand comment about you and Riddle

“You guys are paving the way for the new generation of the Queen of Hearts and the King of Hearts. Though, I guess the King of Hearts didn��t really do anything anyway.”

First of all, what the hell are you talking about?

Second of all, you’d say you contribute much to the dorm. For Yuu to assume such a thing for you simply because some “past King of Hearts” didn’t do so is ridiculous

You don’t voice these things out loud and shrug it off as them saying random things again, or making some kind of reference you don’t get

And because, third of all, you realize they broke rule 228: they definitely picked a rose in your garden. So you go to kick them out before Riddle could find out.

All in the day’s work for the King of Hearts.

Leona Kingscholar — Zira

You could say you and Leona are tight - maybe not Ruggie and Leona tight, but almost

And part of that can be attributed to the fact that you may or may not idolize Leona. But hey, it’s not strange. If Jack can do it, why can’t you? At least it’s not on Sebek’s level

Plus, you deserve to have some pride in yourself for being one of the only people Leona confidently calls a friend of his

Though, one person has been persistent about being Leona’s friend - Yuu, the person who just spawned out of nowhere apparently

You’d catch them talking to Leona sometimes and to be frank, there are times where Leona is less annoyed than usual at their presence

One day in particular, the three of you are hanging around Savanaclaw’s lounge, when Yuu drops a bombshell

“Ah yes, of course, you two are exactly like Scar and his creepily-devout follower, Zira.”

??? Yes, Zira is (a variation) of your name but you wouldn’t call yourself “creepily-devout”. Also, who even is Scar?

Leona’s ears twitch in annoyance, either because he doesn’t understand what Yuu means or that he’s put off by their phrasing

You sit in silence, deciding if this is a topic worth asking more about or not

Curiosity gets the best of you - you ask them. They basically dump all the information they could onto you

Yeah, you still don’t get it. But whoever this other Zira is, they’re kinda cool honestly.

Azul Ashengrotto — Morgan(a)

A lot of people consider you one of Azul’s henchmen alongside Jade and Floyd - God forbid working to the bone every day for the Mostro Lounge, right?

But you don’t take it as an insult. It’s no compliment to be so loyal to such a capitalistic bastard (said affectionately) but it’s just another part of your life

Plus. You’re friends with the dude. His cunning nature is what you’re here for

Maybe sometimes you feel a little inferior to him since everyone lauds him as some powerful mage but you tell yourself you don’t need such prestige

Though even outside of work, sometimes you see that Yuu person loiter around the Mostro Lounge in search of Azul (and the Leech siblings occasionally)

So you decide to sit down with them one day and have a nice little chat when-

“So you’re the Morgana dude right? You definitely give off the vibes. Let me guess: you have a love-hate relationship with your stronger, superior boss?”

You have to do a double take at what they just spouted - where are these assumptions coming from suddenly?

Also your name is Morgan.

They laugh and assure you it’s only a joke and a reference to a movie they like since Azul and you have an uncanny resemblance to the characters in that movie

Even still, you can’t help but feel confused… no way they just go up to people and reference things they enjoy right…?

You try to work on your vibes starting the very next day.

Kalim Al-Asim — Aladdin

You’re somewhat of an enabler for Kalim’s party animal and reckless tendencies which Jamil doesn’t really appreciate but also you don’t give a shit

Who can say no to free food and music? Well, a specific amount of people but you’re definitely not one of them

Kalim is friends with everyone; or rather, he considers everyone a friend and that considerately counts you too

But you two really are though - after the party’s died down, the two of you would chat late into the night about everything and anything. And it works because he’s such a good listener

At one of his many parties, the Yuu person who’s apparently from another world comes to party along with you

And so you eat and dance as one usually would under Kalim’s rule, learning bits of information about Yuu along the way

As per usual, the party dies down so you, Kalim and Yuu take the chance to relax and have a concrete conversation

At some point, Yuu comments on your name (and apparent namesake…?)

“Wait, so your name is Aladdin? Like the thief guy who fell in love with the Sultan’s daughter? Feels kinda weird since Kalim kinda reminds me of the Sultan himself…”

Well, yes, your name is Aladdin although you just tell people to call you Ali but everything else they just said is completely false

You all laugh it off because the mood is appropriate for an elaborate joke as such but the next day, when you think over the whole interaction, you have to wonder what was going on through their head at the time

You make a mental note to see if you’ll ever fall in love with a sultan’s daughter.

Vil Schoenheit — Raven

You’re a little intimidated by Vil but you have as much respect for him as anyone does

And somehow, you manage to gain his respect too, though you are a mere spudling…

You try not to let it get to your head (especially considering he has more respect for some other spuds than you) but it’s no easy feat to get a compliment from Vil Schoenheit himself

One person in particular has been getting a lot of attention from Vil lately, you’ve noticed

This Yuu person has been stopping by Pomefiore a lot lately, ever since the weird invasion at school where a bunch of robot people broke into the school grounds

You don’t question it because they’ve been interacting with Vil since the VDC but the thing is Yuu has been trying to get to know more of the dorm members

And one day, they get to you finally

They seem normal enough once you two sit down to chat in the lounge—

“Hm, so your name is Raven? I think I vaguely remember a raven being in Snow White…”

You have no idea what that means and before you could change the topic yourself, Yuu dismisses it; but then the next day, when you were thinking about the exchange again, you get curious as to what a Snow White is 

So you start to scour the Internet for this “Snow White” and it manages to consume you for a few days until Yuu tells you that it’s just a movie from their world

You don’t talk to them for a few days.

Idia Shroud — Meg

You and the Shroud brothers are more like frenemies than anything - you three banter like old friends who know too much about each other

Other than Ortho, Idia does ask you for some favors a lot and you like joking that he’s drowning in debt when it comes to you

Sometimes he pays back by gaming with you, sometimes he pays with actual money. Good money at that. You don’t complain either way

One day you run another favor for him (which he promises more good money for) to send some stuff to Ramshackle

A person named Yuu and their only other dorm member Grim had sent stuff to Idia for repairing and maintenance - not that you care about the details. You’re just gonna get it over with

Once you reach their dorm, the first thing you’re met with are the two dorm members bickering over something. You chuckle; it reminds you of your conversations with Idia

You excuse yourself for interrupting and go to drop off their things on the table in the middle of the lounge

They stop bickering then and Yuu greets you momentarily before muttering something under their breath

“Of course the new Meg to the new Hades dropped off our stuff.”

You assume they don’t know that you heard what they said and quite frankly you don’t want to care much but you admit you’re a bit curious of what they mean

When you get back to Idia, you ask him to decipher that cryptic message

He admits he has no idea what they mean by that, simply tells you not to think about it and pays you with some good old cash - and some fun gaming time so you forget all about it later anyway.

Malleus Draconia — Diaval

You are one of Malleus’ loyal retainers - you were bestowed the honor of being his “wings” even whatever that means

But Malleus sees you as an equal almost. You are no servant and you have your own wings to tend to; it’s the stuff that would move Sebek to tears

You do see him as a friend mostly, even if at first you started doing so out of pity

But now you see him making more friends around campus and you can’t help but feel happy for and proud of him

There’s one friend who he seems to be around a lot - the magicless human named Yuu

It makes sense since he does enjoy taking walks around their dorm, even before they came to occupy it

One day, you three make the time to have tea together and simply talk. It’s all very pleasant when Yuu says-

“You know, don’t you think it’s weird how your name is Diaval and you’re serving someone who’s strangely reminiscent of Maleficent?”

Well, you don’t think it’s weird because you have no idea what they’re referencing and who Maleficent is - and Malleus seems to think the same, with the confused look on his face and all

Also as true as it is that you’re Malleus’ retainer, you don’t appreciate someone phrasing it as you “serving” him

Yuu apologizes for the comment and explains what they mean by it. You both still don’t get it but it’s enough to make you shrug it off

Sometimes Yuu would still make such comments, thinking you don’t hear it but knowing it’s not that deep, it doesn’t affect the three of you’s friendship whatsoever.

I was at the club on a Saturday, with the one boy I truly loved. We had been dating for around six months, and it had been some of the best time of my life. I was dancing on the dance floor, waiting for my boyfriend to get our drinks and come back. I watched as he ordered our drinks and began to wait for the bar tender to make them. He looked so pretty. I was already a little drunk but I was able to convince Bill that I was just going to have one more drink and then be done. Our hotel was right down the street and we didn’t have any plans for tomorrow, so I figured why not.

Someone tapped my shoulder. I turned to see a girl. She looked a little high, and her makeup was so cute and glittery.

“Hey girl! I think this is your wallet.”, she yelled over the loud music, pushing the wallet into my chest, forcing me to take it. Before i could protest, she disappeared into the dancing crowd. I looked around, a little confused. I didn’t even bring my wallet, so it definitely wasn’t mine. I opened it to try and figure out whose it was. I quickly found out why she thought it was my wallet. Where there was supposed to be an I.D, there was a picture of me. I was kinda drunk so I didn’t even process what was happening. I just wondered how this person got a picture of me. I looked through the wallets, only finding some credit cards and a little bit of cash. Then I checked the last little slot and found an I.D. I pulled it out and immediately smiled. It was Bill’s. How could I be so stupid? Of course it was my boyfriend’s. I put the I.D back in and then went to pull out the picture of me to get a closer look. I soon discovered that the picture of me was not just a single picture, there were many. Pictures of me playing guitar, doing my makeup, at the beach, laughing, sleeping, dancing, etc. my heart was so full of love for him. on the back of the photos, he wrote cute little captions and the date.

I put all the photos back into the wallet. I couldn’t believe how incredibly sweet my boyfriend was. I wanted to give him all the love in the world because he deserved it. He was genuinely the best thing that ever happened to me. I wanted to hug and kiss him into oblivion. I loved him more than anything, and it felt the absolute best to know he loved me too. I looked up to see him approach me with our drinks and his adorable smile.

“Hey, love, I have our drinks- wait I was looking for that!! I had to use the cash in my pocket for these!”, Bill exclaimed, motioning to his wallet. His smile was so bright and it made me feel all warm inside, knowing someone as beautiful as he was loved me.

“You keep pictures of me in your wallet?”, I questioned. His smile began to fade into an embarrassed look, like I had caught him doing something he wasn’t supposed to. His cheeks flushed and he looked down at his feet for a second.

“Yea.”

I gently grabbed his jaw and moved his head up to look me in the eyes again. I smiled so he knew that I wasn’t upset for whatever reason he thought I was.

“When did you even take these and print them all?”, i asked, petting his hair and gazing up at him.

“Oh, well, I took them with that digital camera I got for my birthday a couple years ago. And I’ve been taking and printing them for a couple months now, Tom had to teach me how to print them small enough to fit into my wallet. I had to buy special paper so that they would be shiny, y’know?”, he nervously chuckled as he rambled. I looked at him with pure admiration and love.

“Why do you have them?”

“Well, I just like to have pictures of you I guess. I wish you were with me all the time, but obviously you can’t be, so it’s just nice to have little reminders of you that I can take everywhere with me. It’s stupid, I know. When I’m at the studio all day, or when I’m on tour and i dont see you for a couple days, i just miss you a lot so I look at the pictures of you. Its kind of embarrassing that you found them…”, he said, clearly flustered.

“Bill, baby, it’s not stupid or embarrassing at all. It makes me feel so loved and so good to know that you like me enough to keep pictures of me in your wallet because you miss me or wish I was with you. I don’t think you understand how much I absolutely love you, and how badly I want to show you right now.”

A smirk grew on his face, especially at my last sentence.

“Finish your drink and then we are going back fo hotel.”, i said, taking my drink from his hand. I began to drink it, extremely fast. He watched intently, realizing exactly what you wanted to do. Bill chugged his drink too. I looked him up and down as he did so.

I grabbed his hand and lead him out of the club, he followed close behind like a lost puppy.

The cold whipped against our faces as we swiftly walked over to our hotel. We sped walked into the lobby, and despite how fast we were going, Bill still said hello to the old woman who sat behind the check-in desk. That’s just how sweet he was, practically tooth-rotting.

I pulled him into the elevator and pushed the button for our level. I looked over at Bill, who was clearly excited. He was swinging out interlocked hands back and forth, looking anywhere in the elevator but me. As soon as the doors shut, I pushed him against the wall and pulled his face down so our lips could meet. I was pressed up against him, kissing him hard. He squeezed my hand, which was still holding his. I heard the elevator ding so I pulled away. His eyes were full of desire.

I guided him over to our room, holding the door open for him. He mumbled a quiet, “thank you, baby” before stepping in. I was fast to go in too, putting the “do not disturb” sign on the knob before hastily shutting and locking it. I turned over to Bill, who had already kicked his shoes off and was now sitting patiently at the end of the bed.

I took my heels off and began to walk over to him, antagonizingly slow. I watched as his eyes scanned my body, chewing on his bottom lip. I climbed on top of him with each of my legs on the outside of his, straddling him. I put him hands on each side of his jaw and used my thumbs so caress his cheeks.

“you make me feel so good all the time, bill. you’re the most caring person I know. that’s why I want to make tonight about you. I want to take care of you and make you feel good, exactly the way you do for me. Can i do that tonight, please?”, I said softly. He swallowed hard and nodded quickly.

“Good.”, i smiled before leaning in and ever so gently kissing him. It was a kiss from pure appreciation. I deepened the kiss, using my hands to pull him closer to me, if that was even possible. I ran my fingers through his hair, tugging at it ever so slightly. I knew how much he loved it. I began to start slowly grinding myself against him, and in no time, I could feel a tent in his pants start to form. I loved how quickly I could make him hard. He pulled away, breathing hard.

“Please, I- I need you.”, he said in between pants.

I smiled and nodded. I got off of him and started to unbutton his jeans. I grabbed the sides and slowly pulled them down, revealing his black boxers that you could clearly see his erection through. It looked like that was already a little wet spot on them from pre-cum.

So, I watched the first episode of “Those About To Die” on Peacock.

I enjoyed it, and Im willing to do write ups if folks would be interested…

Since I wana talk about details, and I dont wana spread spoilers, everything is below the readmore.

What I liked: 🔵 And what I disliked: 🟠

Total Ranking: 8/10 - very good, worth the watch 👍

🟠 It dove into the Intrigue right away, which made it hard to watch while doing other things, but I can appreciate a show that grabs you by the shoulders and shoves you down into the couch to pay attention.

🔵 It wasn’t boring, quite the contrary, I felt fully engaged throughout the episode. Theres a lot of small moving parts to the story, and it orchestrates together incredibly well so far, even for Episode One. The writing is very well done, which is a lynchpin for me on a show like this. You cant pretend to be an intrigue type series without a proper plot. And, in my opinion, they’ve set their plots well right away. Tenax getting those shares in Blue was a great con, which had clearly been going a while, but we only saw the tail end of it. I see this little setup as a great look at how the writers DO their work. Connections matter, money does more than talk, and if you play the game wrong, you die. Don’t trust anyone.

🔵 I REALLY enjoyed the historical aspects of the first episode. Like, yes, this plot happened, its a historical fiction and a number of these characters exist in history, but its not just that. Its the small details, the different knives in different cultures, the veterinary care of race horses, the deities from more than just the main roman pantheon, the drinkware, the VARIOUS clothes from various cultures and climates…. And yes, women often went topless when they were a sxwrkr. Gotta advert.

🔵 ON THAT SUBJECT: can we talk about “3 sesterce… and Im tighter than both of them.” MY BOY, YOU ARE RIZZIN TOO HARD AND I LOST IT. Please, please let him be in future episodes. Omfg….

🟠 I am forced to concede the accuracy isnt PERFECT, the horses wore modern driving bridles to go with their ancient styled chariots. However, Im realistic about how many horses are trained today to pull anything without blinders, and how much safer modern bridles are. I’ll also note: I absolutely saw the animal handler grab the horse differently (calmly) before the riot surrounded it, then direct the horse to dance in the crowd. Great training with the horse! Bad camera angle. Lol

🔵 I also really like this cast so far. Everyone fills their roles incredibly well.

Hopkins doesnt even need an introduction, the mans a legend and brings all his experience to the stage with him every time. -chefs kiss-

Rheon was great in GOT, he plays calculatingly unhinged exceptionally well. But I wont lie, seeing him in a more commanding, level headedly calculating person?

Hashim….. HASHIM!!! Im SO excited to see where his character goes. We haven’t seen much of him in Ep 1 just yet, but he’s clearly going to be one of the main players. Im not familiar with him as an actor, but I’ve enjoyed his performance so far, and I REALLY appreciate the story being told.

Martins is also incredible. She does a fantastic job of knowing the danger her characters children are facing, but also knowing she HAS to play her cards right to save them. She personifies the strength and determination of a mother perfectly.

🔵 Quite honestly, I have to give points to that whole plot-line in general. That point of view is something we’ve had hidden from us (in America) for so long, that I think a LOT of people have… become calloused. I hope seeing it will potentially help others come to an empathetic understanding. This isn’t glossing over what happened, or whats likely to happen to any of the three children.

🔵 I also want to gush over actually SHOWING the wider Roman Empire, we get to see the direct effect of their influence in both Africa and Spain so far. Egypt was their bread basket, and without that grain, youve got problems. The Berber Coast has animals, and people they want, and we see money exchanging hands for the purpose of those ends. We see how the locals were told they’d be treated fairly, paid properly, and even eventually become citizens, like the Spaniards, only to have those promises thrown aside as soon as the Romans have better money to make. These people gave the Empire everything it wanted, but the Empire is never satisfied.

We also get to appreciate how far west the empire went when the Spaniards are trying to sell their horses. (Plot-bunny: Andies are dancing horses, exceptionally athletic, and a prime choice for chariots, though, a standardbred is the usual choice for modern cart racers)

🟠 I will say the CGI isnt the best. You can tell exactly when they change from live action to CGI. But this is a minor issue for me tbh. Its passable CGI, and they use it to avoid putting animals or people in danger which, obviously, I appreciate. A chariot wreck was shown, annnnnd it was pretty darn accurate to how messy those would have been. Not good times y’all. Not good times. Also, the ramifications of a major concussion. Oof. At least the guy would have barely knew what was happening? Still.

🔵 The sound effects were enough without being over the top. Often times when theres gore to show, theres all these extra squelching noises and gratuitous blood… not this time. It’s actually… pretty durn accurate. Don’t ask how I know. I don’t wana tell you, and you dont wana know.

Overall, it was a really solid first episode, and I plan on watching the rest.

i only VERY recently admitted to my best friend that i ship them and when i was reading house song i was going NUTS and i NEEDED to talk about it. so i ended up sending my friend a 10 minute long voice message going through the plot and how beautifully written it is and how its fucking me up!!!!!! im going crazy and shaking dean just SHOT HIS DAD!!!!!!!!! Ok! These are my top five serirei moments! I have taken into account the anime, the hot springs OVA, the manga moments that didnt make it into the anime or that havent aired yet*, the official art which probably isnt canon but i cant NOT include them, the fanbook and the omake that i have read ...

*i am an anime-only but i read spoilers so i have only approximate knowledge of whats going on manga-wise lol i havent read everything tho so my opinion is not as well-rounded as id like yet but i made an attempt with what i know thus far (which is enough tbh). i have spoiler warnings wherever i deem necessary but please tell me if i need to add something!! what i included from the mp100 fanbook doesnt contain any spoilers, most of them are related to what we've seen from season 3

Reigen seeing Serizawa for the first time is a moment ingrained in me because the very first thing that Seri did was protect him using his umbrella aka his only source of comfort and security???? while he went against the one person who he thought understood him??? i dont know if it was meant to be read as an exchange of sorts or as a metaphor or as foreshadowing or all three but it's so incredible..

(spoilers, probably? --->) i think in the manga at some point Serizawa got an umbrella and it was clear instead of white or any other color, so when he was using it he was visible and so many fans were saying that this is a metaphor for him not being afraid anymore and standing on his own two feet as a person :'( anyway this is sort of irrelevant but it's kinda related to Reigen too (i think the umbrella was a gift from him??) And the fact that in the anime he uses the cards Reigen gave him as a weapon opposed to the umbrella Touichirou gave him....... (<----end of spoilers)

the farting chair..... i cant like a pairing without them being absolutely ridiculous. Reigen doing whatever ridiculous thing he's doing and Serizawa being either "hm. sure." or "??????" is so funny to me. them going to the bar and getting drunk together and Reigen showing him a trick with Seri responding "i have a test tomorrow Reigen-san.." in contrast to what we've seen in the anime so far with Reigen being dramatic and actually impressing Serizawa is so good....... what do you mean this is more than one moment.......

this and the way they framed Reigen's wait-youve-never-liked-a-girl meltdown and then moments later showing him googling "how to ask girls out" must be an indicator for something (🤨🏳️‍🌈⁉)..... Also the way Reigen lets himself be a little vulnerable in front of Serizawa shows that he trusts him and that's weird since he is so guarded all the time while trying to show how great he is.. I like that he has someone he can share things with and maybe even be himself with

2. the famous moment they cut-off from the anime (specifically from s3e9) (after no3 chronologically)

when i first saw this i was so sure there was something going on canonically that will slowly unravel. i have only seen bits and pieces of the manga but i still feel there is something here. its a small moment and then it changes scene back to mob. considering this being a little later from no3 it makes you wonder if its building up to something or not?? (the answer is its not but still. behind the scenes maybe?) Moreover Reigen's desire to be a good partner makes me??? I cannot explain correctly what this makes me feel because writing this made me both want to cry AND want to make that one meme with timmy's dad (since it couldn't make it into the anime)

I first saw this a year or something ago and it still mystifies me to this day... what was the purpose of this? what is trying to convey?? is this supposed to attract the male-loving fans of mp100??? i literally cant NOT read this as gay... it makes me lose my mind every time i look at it. There are so many things i like about their dynamic and canon didnt show us as many things as i wish it did (how reigen employed serizawa, what happened when they went for drinks and ended up both drunk etc etc) I love them both and I'm glad that they got to meet and work together in the manga and i got to read about it!!

10. Is your OC sentimental or pragmatic? Do they keep mementos or only what they need to survive? Have they always been this way or did something happen to make them change?

Shua is definitively more on the pragmatic side... its just kind of like. Result of his upbringing I think he defintly has things/memories that hold sentimental value to him but also a big part of his life before meeting Jaehui was kind of. hiding the parts of himself that made him Unique instead of just Strong and Powerful so I dont think hed have any mementos that didnt hold any sort of purpose... like a birthday card his mom gave him would end up being thrown away vs the sword he was given when he joined the imperial knights. he doesn't really see the point of looking at a piece of paper and remembering someone you know

I keep wanting to be like It All Changes When He Meets Jaehui Though but tbh thats just not true. shua has loads of items and mementos all around him to remember jaehui by i dont think he'd save every little think jaehui'd give him. it also helps that jaehui isnt really the type to like write him notes and letters and stuff LOL

23. What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?

smile. Jaehui very much is in no emotion for 20 years hell so its hard to say This Emotion Specifically but i think the best answer would be any negative emotion besides like. general fear/anxiety is hard for him to process and express. since being adopted by his master he always has a pretty surface-level baseline amount of anxiety at being judged/scorned/abandoned which is what causes him to just bottle up and push aside all of his negative emotions. he tries his best to be the like picture perfect mage which means if he has any sort of problem he just doesn't tell anyone about it. and since he feels like he cant talk to anyone about it he also just chooses to ignore any negative emotions he has as well to make his life easier. like tbh even fear/anxiety its not necessarily that he can process them better so much as its such a normal state of being when interacting with nobles he doesn't even notice when it happens. its so much easier for him to be able to express his good moods because he knows theyre safe emotions to express vs any sort of bad mood people will judge him for it. before everything jaehui never really got angry the most he could do was annoyed not because there was nothing to make him angry but because he always felt that there was. no point

when tsuzuri joined the club she didnt know anything about school idols so kozue stayed up with her all night watching videos. the other day, kozue saw tsuzuri showing sayaka a video she had shown tsuzuri last year

ruri saw kozue doing the photoshoot for asagao reijou and kept saying she was so beautiful she looked like a hollywood actress. kozue says ruri is like kaho the way she exaggerates

kaho's asagao reijou unidolised is from story ep 9 part 2!!

tsuzuri is good at maths because the answers are already found. she just isnt good at things that dont have determined answers. shes thinking of tutoring kaho in maths using school idol metaphors

the movement of a school idol outfit can be broken down into numbers, so tsuzuri finds it strange that a girl who isnt good at maths can be so good at being a school idol (megumi??)

tsuzuri is trusted to do the fabric shopping 👍 sayaka will give her some ideas but tsuzuri gets to make the actual choice (kozue gets lost in the sales when she and tsuzuri go shopping though)

mirage voyage is a traditional song that tsuzuri wanted to do with sayaka. when sayaka asked if she could choreograph it tsuzuri "waited for the moon to disappear behind a cloud, then said with a face more beautiful than the moon, 'please do,' and smiled"

at the entrance ceremony, kozue was the representative for the new students so she was worried she stood out too much and wouldnt make friends. but now she has friends who all support her school idol activities and there are even some girls in the same year who call her kozue-sama

kaho and sayaka's soda cards are the time they went to the batting centre with ruri. lol

if you mix watermelon soda (tsuzuri) and soda (sayaka) you get purple soda ("sweet potato?")

tsuzuri likes vending machines. the lights are calming. she likes the bottles lined up in the same uniform waiting to be chosen by somebody

while stargazing with kozue (ep 9) kaho realises the traditional hasu songs (genyou yakou, mirage voyage) are so much about the stars because of the view they and their senpai can see from the hasu campus

kozue thought the others might be disappointed if they didnt get to play during the training camp so she brought a water gun with her lol

"cold things are for summer. warm things are for winter" <- tsuzuri likes that this is not only what she thinks but what everyone thinks

sayaka thinks kaho is like the sun and kaho often calls herself a flower, so sayaka thinks kaho suits the summer perfectly. she'll try to emulate kaho's summer vibes this live (secretly)

nagano isnt on the coast so kaho wanted to go the beach at least once during her three years at hasunosora, and she did it in her first year with her friends at her senpai's beach house!

vivid phrase tsuzuri and grace phrase kozue are the outfits they wore to promote the school idol club where kaho and sayaka first saw them perform!!

i have no idea how to take those early mirapa cards. are they just. fantasising about performing together. ruri literally is not even in the country at this point in the story

kozue: maybe it was fate. i dont know why, but when i saw kaho-san i thought to myself "im definitely going to be a school idol with this girl." theres still a long road ahead of us, and i dont know what will happen in the future, but i chose kaho-san, just as i chose to go to hasunosora. i will never regret that decision. when we stood on stage together for the first time, and i saw kaho-san smiling next to me, i felt a warmth in my heart. they say spring is the season of new encounters and the season of love, right? maybe i fell in love with kaho-san's school idol smile

the voice lines for the card of sayaka waking up tsuzuri for school are so long like a full minute longer than the others. its mostly tsuzuri saying how thankful she is she has sayaka standing by her and that she worried sayaka wouldnt know How grateful she is. so she gave her a nice acorn she found and sayaka gave her a cookie back

*tsuzuri gave kozue and kaho acorns as thanks in the main story too for making her realise everything sayaka was doing for her

they (ceribou + dollche presumably) all came up with the kunpuu no shirabe outfits together! the translucent fabric layer on top was kaho's idea

while kozue was making the kunpuu no shirabe outfits kaho kept leaving practice to check how she was doing and kozue thought she was like a puppy before thinking that wasnt appropriate for her to think as her senpai (lol)

sayaka (and kaho?) made the stage for scapegoat (and ouka ranman?)

tsuzuri often feels (felt?) lonely after a performance and it makes her want to do another show to feel the same emotions. kozue had to stop her from doing it the fourth time

sayaka saying she obviously cant know fully tsuzuri's greatness but she does want people to know the tsuzuri that she knows, and shes annoyed she wasnt able to properly convey that to kaho when they were talking about how much they love their senpai

tsuzuri didnt recognise herself in the photo of she and kozue from last year. she doesnt really remember her face since she only sees it in the mirror

tsuzuri said something about memories remaining in a form such as a photo, that when she tries to pull them out she can feel it in her chest along with other memories attached to it. so she knows that they happened. yet she cant remember her own face. if she doesnt pull the memories out theyll accumulate and get stuck. but if she keeps doing it she worries theyll fall apart and disappear

there are some memories she wants to disappear but even the ones she doesnt are at risk of disappearing. so she wants to make lots of memories that she does want to keep

sayaka's tragic drops card is probably happening the same time as tsuzuri's!! shes watching her stream :-)

@charles_gillespie well its finally happened, today was m’s first day of kindergarten :( she was so excited to go hang out with willow and ethan that she didn’t even care that she was staying there without me. no tears at all (from her, i was a wreck, sorry @owenjoyner and @mrcheyennejackson) so now i’m gonna spend the day wondering how and when she grew up from a tiny little baby to the little girl that went off to school this morning determined that everyone in her class would know the “right way to spell her name”

That bugged me too when I was watching, with the knee surgery, how far into recovery she was, and her scores at trials, it 100% makes sense why she wasn’t on the team.

But i can see where her family is coming from. I went back and watched the Olympic trials broadcast on YouTube. During one of her routines, a commentator noted that no one from the selection committee was watching her, and how weird that was.

I think both things are true, Maggie had a very slim chance making the team because of her injury but she clearly didn’t have a fair chance.

well the team isnt picked *just* from trials, or even from nationals + trials. it is (or was, before tom, lol) much more about the big picture. and the writing was on the wall and she was off the team before she even did her first routine at nationals. its not about giving a fair chance, she just didnt figure into the team in any way unless she was in her peak condition, which she was nowhere near in june/july 2016.

so no, they didnt feature her parents. the selection committee wasnt watching her on floor. i dont remember who was going on any of the other events, i should go rewatch too lol, but if it was one of the ones who was in the hunt for the 5th spot or an alternate spot, then of course they would prioritize watching them. its harsh but it just wasnt in the cards for her.

absolutely gets pranked by his groomsmen or w/e you wanna call em bc i think joe (and the others tbh) probably is like 'do you wanna be a part of this' regardless of gender. i'm not smart enough to detail what kind of pranks, but he does get pranked. frank is a little hesitant for a minute based on 'idk he seems nervous' the day-of but ends up going along with it. it helps lighten him back up.

this man makes his vows funny but then they get SO mushy. ppl go from laughing abt some joke he made thats between him and his partner bc he tells a lil bit of the story and then he gets all mushy

absolutely the kind of person who has like. specific choreography for the first dance. he wants to show his partner off and also he wants to show off

i mentioned joe in frank’s headcanons, so i have to mention frank here. frank gives the mushiest goddamn speech anyone has ever heard. he has SO much love for his brother and will embarrass him a bit but its all out of love! he’ll call joe out for things that he did growing up, or he’ll comment abt the cringey shit joe was into and did as a young teen, but then he starts talking abt sweet shit and how happy he is that his little brother is happy. he absolutely makes a comment to joe’s partner that “there’s no returns btw, he’s your problem now” but then wrap it up with “but he’s a good problem to have” or something.

also this is a VERY long headcanon!!

so last night vee got ill, he had been regressed in the afternoon with patton and he was acting much more fussy than usual - not being entertained by his cartoons, not having the energy to play with his rattle, pretty much constantly whining and pouting and he gets very wriggly when he's fussy

patton assumed it was because vee had been upset earlier that day. at one point vee started gripping his stomach, and patton assumed its because he was hungry and could smell the food roman was cooking

but when dinner came around no matter how hard patton tried he couldnt get vee to eat a morsel - he kept turning his head away from the food and whining. at one point patton and logan both managed to convince him to eat a spoonful but his face crumpled with a wince and it looked almost painful for him to swallow it. it was at this point logan noticed he had a faint sheen of sweat on his forehead

things fell into place quickly after that - logan checked his temperature and it was indeed slightly higher than was healthy, they noticed vee's hands were trembling and he was constantly on the verge of tears :(

while patton cleared away dinner and excused roman who wanted to go and craft in his room, logan took vee to his bedroom and tried to check for more symptoms, since vee was non verbal and unresponsive totheir questions. he tested his tummy by pushing it a little to see if the pain got worse when he released it (this is a test for appendicitis) but there was no reaction thankfully except vee being upset by logan not cuddling him. he checked his throat for any redness or infection, nothing.

vee's crying became more pronounced and eventually he was in constant tears, occassionally pleading 'mama mama' through sniffles and hiccups and whines of pain :(( Patton brought him a baby bottle of cooled tea made with fresh mint leaves since that is supposed to help stomach pains. though he left the room again since logan thought it was best not to crowd virgil. Vee's crying had dissipated but he was strangely silent and seemed almost loopy now. he only drank a little of the tea before he pushed it away with a gag.

logan immediately took him to the bathroom knowing what was coming, and sure enough vee threw up into the toilet, crying between gags. logan dutifully managed to keep vee in his lap the whole time and held his hair and rubbed his back, telling him he was such a good boy the whole time

Thankfully it didnt last long as there wasnt much in vees stomach to be emptied. he was shivering and sweating and flushed and had lost all energy. he wasnt even crying anymore, just whimpering under his breath. with a bit of a struggle logan managed to show him how to rinse his mouth out with mouthwash - though he had to hold vee over the sink and pat his back to make sure he didnt swallow it

during all of this patton wasnt able to help because of his heightened empathy, if he sees someone throwing up the likeihood is he will too and that wiuldnt be very helpful! so instead he drives to the store to pick up some medicine and ice pops - and comes back with half the store including some actual baby medicine smh - ((im actually begging u to read that linked post i think its so funny))

it was originallly meant to be logans night to put roman to bed but understandably patton took on that task instead. after roman was drifting off patton pokes his head into vee's room. he had hoped to find lo and vee asleep but they werent. they were lying in the dark with an in the night garden audio story playing on a portable speaker and with vees salt lamp and star night light lighting up the room in a soft glow.

logan offered a strained little smile and nod to patton as he stroked vee's hair and cuddled him close. vee was completely out of it honestly. his body was wholly lax against his mama, his lips were in a permanent pout and his eyes were puffy and wet. he barely even acknowledged his papa coming in, his teary eyes just settled on him for a moment then dropped back to the bedsheets without a reaction. he kept lifting his thumb up to suck on it but logan kept capturing it and apologising as he brought it away. Vee shouldnt suck on his thumb and logan doesnt want to give him a paci while he's ill. understandably, baby vee was completely miserable.

patton asks if logan thinks vee could handle a popsicle or plain crackers at the moment but logan disagrees. he doesnt expect either of them to get much sleep so he will make sure vee eats something in a few hours. with a gentle kiss on vee's forehead patton goes off to bed, confident that logan will be able to look after vee and will come get him if theres any issues

logan and vee really dont sleep much at all. Vee drifts off for a few minutes at a time then gasps awake from vivid fever dreams. logan keeps ice cubes in a bowl by the bed for vee to suck on if he needs to cool down and wraps a couple in a flannel to press to vee's head when his fever rises in the middle of the night.

around 3am logan jolts awake and realises he had drifted off. and vee isnt anywhere in the room. he panics momentarily, bolting up from the bed and dashing to the closet to see if virgil is in there - which he tends to do when he is overwhelmed - but then he hears sniffling from the bathroom.

he finds vee, no longer regressed, curled up against the side of the bathtub with his bangs clinging to his sweaty head. vee is the palest person logan knows but he looks positively grey at the moment

'can i help in any way?' he asks, aware that he doesnt need to baby talk at the moment but still eager to look after this bundle of miserableness

virgil just groans under his breath and clutches his knees to his chest. 'i.. i didnt know what to do with the..' he gestures vaguely to something on the floor

logan notices virgil, being not regressed anymore, had obviously wrestled off the diaper he had been changed into the night before and not known how to dispose of it

'its ok, ive got it' logan wraps it up in a bag and puts it in the trash can they have in the room for just this purpose

'sorry.. m stupid' virgil croaks

'You're not stupid.' logan says firmly as he washes his hands 'You're ill and probably delirious from the fever. it's alright virgil'

theres quiet for a bit longer, virge's head pressed against the porcelain edge of the bathtub likely in an attempt to cool his fever. logan stays there with him for a while just waiting. then suddenly virgil starts sobbing and buries his face in his hands.

'sweetheart, tell me whats wrong please' logan hurries to kneel beside him, lifting his hands away from his face. that wouldnt help the fever

'i dont feel well' virgil cries pathetically, tears rolling down his face.

logans heart breaks 'no, you dont. i'm sorry little one, i know its not nice'

at the nickname virgils thumb raises to his lips again, which logan hurriedly intercepts. 'i'll make you a deal, okay? you're allowed to use a pacifier, but you have to use the same one everyday until you are better. we will need to sterilise it every night too.'

vee sniffles and nods, then chokes 'm not a baby right now though'

'that doesnt matter. you dont need to be regressed to want one of your pacis, vee'

vee is unresponsive and starts scratching at his pyjama pants. logan gets a feeling he isnt saying something. then he notices virgil's pout is much more infantile than his adult ones. 'are you feeling little, baby?'

with a harsh shake of his head vee starts crying again. he whispers 'dont wanna be a b...' then cuts himself off and whimpers

logan cards his fingers through virgils damp bangs. he knows what virgils mind has jumped to. 'were you going to say you dont want to be a baby?' he lifts virgils chin up to look at him 'or that you dont want to be a burden?'

virgils pale lip wobbles 'same fing'

'no sweetheart, no no no,' logan sits on the tiles beside vee and pulls him into his lap. virgil goes willingly. logan rocks his baby as he says 'youre always always allowed to be a baby and its never ever going to upset your family. even if you're an adorable wonderful brave baby boy alllll of the time' he scribbles his finger on virgils rosy cheek and delights at the tiny smile it earns him. 'but especially when you're feeling yucky. you feel a bit yucky today dont you, little one?'

vee nods with a pout

'but yknow whats not yucky? softies and pacis and diapers and lots and lots of cuddles with mama' he holds virgil tighter to prove his point. vee sighs and drops his head to nuzzle against his mama's neck. logan feels he still has a slight fever. 'i know what might help you feel less yucky. does my sweet baby want a sweet ice pop?'

thankfully vee nods against his shoulder and grips tight onto his pyjama shirt, preparing for when logan lifts him up

he first makes sure to change vee into another diaper and even decides that he should wear one of mama's t-shirts as a light dress so he doesnt get as overheated by his pyjamas. at this point vee actually giggles for the first time pretty much all day as he feels the tshirt swish lazily around his legs. logan makes a mental note to observe whether little vee might want to try wearing dresses if the feeling sparks this much joy (at this point logan is unaware that vee has secretly been trying skirts and dresses in his room for months, and roman found out a few weeks ago, but vee isnt ready to tell the cgs yet)

by the time vee is in his diaper and mamas tshirt dress and has a paci and jiji clutched to his chest he is a lot calmer and happier. he's still very ill and exhausted and teary, but theres a tiny smile on his face instead of a pout. in the kitchen he picks a strawberry ice pop and it goes down well, logan convinces him to have a cracker too though vee is in such a young headspace by then that he is just sucking on it, which logan supposes is fine too

by the (real) morning vee is still regressed and has managed to have a couple hours undisturbed sleep. its not much but its better than nothing. logan didnt fare much better. by then vee misses his papa and asks for him and logan hands the responsibility over to papa patton, trustinf the other caregiver enough to catch up on a quick power nap himself

but yes, the main thing is vee thought being ill was a burden enough that he shouldnt be regressed too, but logan makes him see that its okay. vee is regressed pretty much the whole time he is ill over the next few days because its stressful and painful and its a lot easier to feel comforted when ur a baby

at times he almost kinda feels like a coach? hes very motivational too

asmo thinks it’s really a really pretty hobby and praises you when he sees you figure skating in a video

and naturally he has to help you pick a performance outfit before you do anything for him lol

you end up practically making an entire show on your own because asmo kept giving you costumes and wanted you to use them all

when he finally sees you figure skate right in front of him it’s a completely different feeling from when he saw the videos

he felt great when he saw you in the fits that he chose :’)

and then when ur finished he tells you that he wants to try doing stage makeup next time

every now and then you try teaching him how to figure skate and he does fairly well but he gets distracted when he sees his reflection so it’s a bit challenging...

he saw you stretching once and asked you about it

then he ended up joining you in your routine while asking questions about figure skating wow these boys ask a lot of questions huh

when you get around to showing him how you figure skate he immediately wants to try it out himself!!

but he didnt have any skating shoes that fit him,,,and the ice reminded him of bingsu/ujikintoki/shave ice/snow cones so you had to take him out for food afterward T-T

eventually he ends up training with you every now and then, and he’ll watch you practice in the rink whenever he can

he doesnt bombard you with questions and just lets you talk about it however you want while he drifts off to sleep smh

when yall get home he convinces you to take a nap bc he could tell that you were exhausted

and he said that just watching you made his muscles and bones tired
