He had observed you when you trained with the others. You weren’t too strong. But little did he know that it was only because you didn’t want to hurt your teammates.

When he was tackled to the ground he didn’t get why he was unable to get up

Didn’t want to admit defeat so he suddenly kicked you very very hard

Never actually apologized for anything

He did ask you for a rematch which he won

When you then quickly rose up to the top of your rookie class he challenged you again

He hurriedly took a step back. You were way too fast for him, he had realized. He was unable to form a proper plan before you swept him of his feet and pinned him down. When he laid on the ground he could only stare up in shock. A rookie? Beating him? He had tried to move you but you wouldn’t even budge a centimeter. He had heard Rodolfo just laughing in the background, as you saw him getting money put into his hand by a general. Did he just bet against me?!

He respected you more after that and just maybe for some reason you had training with him more often after that. At least 3x a week until you had private lessons with him.

3. Simon Riley ( Ghost ) 💀

Took over Soap‘s rookie training because he overslept

Beat up everyone

But you where a hard nut to crack

Your fight took almost half an hour

Was surprised to see you not getting tired from fighting for so long

Was most likely distracted by the fact that you managed to lay serveral punches

It was certainly not normal for a fight to take that long. When Ghost finally decided he was getting tired of it he had wanted the fight to end. It took him way too long to realize that you were also in for the end. Your last punch hit him like a truck in the face causing his nose to actually bleed. Not that you could see it. After that he proceeded to be harsh with you, always making you do more than the others. „Come on solider. You can do more.“ he had said while pressing his foot down harder on your back. Well if you could beat him … might as well do 100 pushups with some weight no. That ways maybe just his way of showing you his respect. Ever since you had one more dessert. Strange. Is that his way of saying sorry?

4. John McTavish ( Soap ) 🧼

Was not too good of a fighter anyways

Tried to simply mock you

You took that personal not understanding the joke

Your ego was one thing

He wanted to show you how to punch someone properly bc you have been doing it half heartedly

When he then said you should prove you learned it in a fight

It was time for revenge

He barely had time to register what was happening before you landed the „you should learn this punch“ in his stomach. He did teach it to you. Soap had fallen to the ground after and hit it a couple of times. Eating before fighting is not good kids. And soap learned it first hand. He would keep his distance afterwards but ofc after one apology you both would spar from time to time. What really stressed you out through would be when he let you fight against the whole 141 Team. „Are you kidding me.“ „No, no, try it simon.“

5. Kyle Garrick ( Gaz ) 🦜

So he gave him you as an opportunity to learn

Congratulations was all that followed. Gaz could not stop fawning over you after. Even going as far as to ask you for advice on his training. „Maybe we should train together.“ Yay. Training with your trainer. No stress at all.

OKAY sooo here’s the thing. It’s fuckin Ryomen my guy. Love languages almost require conscious acts of love, or to at least ya know admit you’re in love. In that sense, Ryomen doesn’t have a love language; he actively mocks the concept of “love languages” as humans refusing to accept the fact that their emotions are all just chemical reactions in their brain designed to make them want to fuck.

That being said, it's Quality Time. 

Ryomen’s love is always quiet. It’s him sitting in the same room as you while you read, casually talking with you while you do chores, or insisting on being in the garden while you tend to it because “It’s my (his) garden, I’ll be here if I want! Don’t think I’m here for you.” He absolutely is there for you.

His biggest act of love is letting you sleep in his room with him. That's quality time by definition my guy.

He genuinely gets so jealous when you spend time with other people because that's how he defines love. It's the person you want to spend time with (Don’t ask him about it, he won’t admit it) so you spending time with other people means you love them. And he can not handle the idea of you loving anyone that’s not him.

Remember when I said Satoru was like a cat? I take it back, Sukuna is like a cat. He wants to be in the same room as you but the last thing he wants is to be perceived by you.

He just wants to watch you read your book and not be grilled as to why he insists on being with you all the time. He’s clearly just, uh…enjoying the fireplace! Duh! Foolish mortal, why would he vie for your affections?...so, uh..whatcha reading?

He will never admit it, but his favorite thing in the world is to sit in the garden with you, listening to you talk about flowers while he pretends not to care.

This is followed closely by holding your close to him at night, whispering words of affirmation to you you will never hear when awake. 

I think that spending quality time with you is the only way Sukuna knows how to show love. I think he often gets overwhelmed by physical affection. He’s not used to it, and he didn’t immediately take to it the way Gojo did. Words of affirmation are out because he’s not a wordsmith unless he’s making threats. Can’t do acts of service because his ego would never let him do a favor for anyone else, and he can’t find any gifts that feel worthy of you- none of them feel right. So, Quality time it is.

Words may fail him, but he’s aware of how he feels. And the soft intimacy of listening to your favorite music with you, watching you hum along and dance makes him feel so viscerally raw, that it’s almost enough to make him admit there maybe more to love than just chemicals making you want to fuck. 

Should I just write a fic at this point? Maybe because GOD I am a fucking sucker for soft Sukuna. Yes I am aware I am part of the problem, I do not care, give me 2 weeks. I can fix him!

Just imagine stargazing with Sukuna for a second. it had been only a few weeks since the doctor had broke the news of your condition but it never got easier. it never got better because you knew you would not be able to make it out of this. you saw no light at the end of the tunnel. there was no end of the tunnel. just a void you’d keep existing in for ever and ever. you hated to think of it this way but you couldn’t help yourself. your permanent state of misery would allow you nothing else. 

your boyfriend on the other hand, he was a mess. he didn’t want you to go. no one did. his friends and bandmates had to comfort him so that he wouldn’t break in front of you. he didn't want to worry or scare you in the last moment of your life. even if you told him it was okay to cry in front of you, he refused to do it. if he felt himself letting tears slip, he would run away and hide from you. you just wanted to see him but he wouldn’t allow it. 

he took the opportunity, when he wasn’t crying, to take care of you. since your illness had left you confined to your bed, he would slip under the sheets next to you and just hold you. he wanted to provide as much comfort as possible. he knew you were feeling scared and didn’t want to show him. he would also do his best to make you laugh. he would prepare all of the best jokes for you and tell you when he got some time alone with you. he would also save all of the best tiktok videos and instagram memes to show you when he would see you. 

if there was something he hated more than your condition, it was the fact that he had to work while you were wasting away. he didn’t want to go to schedules and he made it very clear. the boys did their best to help convince their company to give him some time to spend your last days with you but they didn’t understand. they didn’t care. 

he would do his best to end schedules early so he could run off to see you. his favorite day was when he woke up to a group texts from his band mates saying to skip work and go see you. they would cover for him. that day, he left bed with a giant dorky smile on his face and it stayed there when he arrived to your home. he got ready and made sure to look presentable for you that day. little did he know, that day would be one of your favorite too…but one of your last. 

two days later, the nurse was there when he arrived after work. this was never a good sign because it meant something was getting worse. they were usually quick visits but…this nurse was supposed to be gone a long time ago. 

the nurse pulls him aside and gives him sympathetic eyes. “she’s going soon. please just prepare for a goodbye within the next few hours. i’ll stick around if you need anything.” 

he starts to fall apart from the inside. not showing it outwardly. he couldn’t. it was impossible to let you know what he was feeling. he didn’t want you to cry of be scared. 

he walks in the room with a big smile but it soon faded when he saw how your condition had worsened. you looked paler than usual, thiner, and more than he was willing to let himself notice. you had your oxygen rubes in your nose this time. you hadn’t needed them in weeks. it physically hurt his heart to see you like this. 

he sits next to you in your usual spot and smoothes a hand over your hair. 

“hey, beautiful. i missed you all day today. what have you been up to today?”

he look up at him with your sunken eyes. you looked red and puffy. “well…i’ve been in bed. i can’t exactly move from here, silly.”

he smiled at your name for him and rolled his eyes, “ugh i know. I'm so sorry. i wish i could take you outside. maybe some fresh air would do you good.”

he give him a mischievous smirk. “let’s sneak out. you’ll have to drag me out though. i can’t exactly walk.”

he sighs and looks at you with a loving smile, “just as funny as always. you know, no one will ever be funnier than you. you’re an actual comedian.” 

you don’t reply. you grab his hand and hold onto it, pressing it to your face. he noticed how cold your skin was getting and reality hit him once again. you were only on your way out. you’d be gone within hours, according to the nurse. had you know? had you been told?

he didn't ask. he didn’t want to know. 

he had one final opportunity for this and he was going to make it happen now. 

he uses his thumb to rub your cheek and you smile up at him. you look so tired. you were holding on just for him. you didn’t want him to see you go but you were getting ready to let go. how could you possibly tell him though?

he uses his other hand to reach into his jacket pocket. his clumsy hand searched and finally found what he was looking for. it was a small, simple ring. one he’d been wanting to give you for a while. now was the perfect time. you’d be able to keep it forever. 

he pulls the ring from his pocket and shows it to you. “do you like this ring?” you looked a little shocked but had a shy smile painted on your face. “of course i do. it’s pretty.” he smiles. “I'm glad you like it. it’s for you. i know we can’t get married now but when you’re gone and I follow you eventually, you’re gone be there waiting for me. right? we can get married then.”

you start to let tears fall. something you hadn’t done in front of him in a long time. you pull him into you with what little strength you had left and just sobbed uncontrollably. the nurse peaked in the check in but once they realized what was going on, they left to give you some privacy. 

once you gained your final ounce of composure, you looked up at him, “of course i’ll wait. there no one else i love more in the world than you.”

he slips the ring on your frigid finger and presses a kiss to your hand. “i love you.”

your eyes rapidly start to flutter shut. it was happening. your speech was getting slower and you stared up at him. “lay with me.” that was your last request to him. the last thing you’d ever ask him for. 

you got comfortable with him and finally started to let yourself go. you hated to do this to him but you know that he didn't care. as long as he was close to you. 

“i love you, beomgyu.”

the life slipped from your body and only then, when he was sure you were gone, he started to cry. it started with silent cries and escalated to desperate screams for you to come back. he’d never felt so vulnerable in his life. 

hours later, you were being taken away. he watched your body being hauled of the continued to let out screams and cries of agony. his bandmates had come to comfort him. they rubbed his back and wiped his tears but he still screamed and cried. 

that night, he didn’t leave your apartment. he didn’t leave for the next three days. he sat on your bed, crying. he wanted you back but all he had were your clothes and your other stuff. your scent still lingered about the apartment and he held onto it for as long as he could. 

his bandmates finally got him out of the apartment but he couldn’t help but take some of your things. 

a hoodie, your shared bear stuffie and your perfume. 

he missed you desperately. 

he’d miss you until he was finally with you.

they band together to hog them from everyone else. denmark is bouncing on the sofa just barely clinging onto his ability not to snatch, because nor and ice are locked in a tiebreak which has been going on for a full hour. he wants a turn so badly. nor and ice will deathmatch until they both starve to death or one of them wins, whichever is sooner.

who usually causes the fights?

norway. they both have low emotional intelligence but iceland is slightly more switched on (he's younger, he has younger friends). one might say he's securely attached. norway is very avoidant-dismissive attachment: he causes fights by getting too clingy, but sometimes also for being too distant and cold.

who steals the others' clothes?

norway steals everyone's clothes. iceland wouldn't want to steal norway's clothes. he doesn't even really like borrowing stuff off norway because you can never be sure if it's been washed recently.

iceland goes top bunk because he's ever so slightly shorter, and because norway doesn't like not being able to get to a door easily. nor also goes bottom bunk because he wakes up during the night a lot so it's easier to get out of bed and go for a wander without disturbing ice

lmao we all know it's nor speaking up for ice. it's not even a shyness thing, ice just hates being difficult with service workers.

gonna say iceland bailing norway out of jail. norway's been arrested for snufkin-style crimes (trespass, vandalism, grand larceny). iceland doesn't get arrested, partly because he's not the type to break the law and partly because there's like 4 police officers in iceland and he knows them all by name

that said, i did have a great story going with my friend anna (bruh idk what your tumblr is anymore, lmk so i can tag you) where ancient scandinavia (i.e. norway's mum) and he had a really fractious but interesting relationship. he always thought he was her least favourite but it was because she recognised he could use magic like her and wanted to make him tough. it was such a great story ugh, i should write a fic about it

Writing gives me the time and space to gather my thoughts. I use it as a practice in conveying emotion, which makes it easier to do so and thoroughly explain reasoning. I use writing as a base for learning human psyche, soul, mind and spirit which interests me deeply. I try digging deeper into feelings and actions - reasons why some are done and linking them together.

I pick muses based on some hint of personality trait I see of myself in them. I find myself often asking what I want so having muses that at least correlate to my thoughts are a better fit for me than just a choice at random. It can be big as the way they think or it can be as small as sharing a favorite drink. Exploring their interests based on their world and adding on to it makes it way more enjoyable for me to write, story and world building is important to me.

I fucking love everyone I have ever written and will ever write with. This has been nothing but a warm and loving experience for me.

My nickname is thanks to my father, who even though he named me one thing, found it often too long and switched it to another lol.

I go to at least 3 concerts every month. Mostly rock in genre if I get to chose but I never say no when friends ask. I will always be your +1 to any event.

Zero dude. Literally none. I just picked it up as a hobby and passed my blogs one year birthday last august. I have been truly active in the writing community for only half a year in total.

I go with the flow, I enjoy coming up with things on the spot. Diseccting my muses and throwing them into any type of situation just to write myself out of it. Or-... make it worse for them. Keep it interesting you know?

I write through and together with music, I let it guide me often. This is kind of the reason I am a slow replier, I have to really feel what I want to put down and then I can stick to it. valentine's day is coming up, so here are some nice little things we can do to pamper and show some appreciation for ourselves. i tried to think of free activities, because times are tough for us all right now. use whichever placements resonate for you, this is just for fun so don't treat it too seriously <3

aries: dance party! maybe it sounds silly, but moving your body (in whatever way feels best for you) can be really helpful. it wakes you up, helps regulate your nervous system, gets the blood pumping a bit and can be mentally uplifting. never mind how good it feels to blast some music and just let go of fear and inhibition for a minute...

taurus: spa session. this doesn't need to be a big fancy thing, but it's always nice to spend a bit of time pampering yourself. take a bath or shower, cut up some fruit, make a herbal tea or get a sparkling water, and then whip out some moisturiser or a deep conditioner. you could even make yourself a DIY face mask if you're feeling creative. paint your nails, listen to calming music, and just spend some time showing your body a bit of love...

gemini: start a diary. whether you get out that notebook you've been saving for three years (we all have one, there's no shame here) or just use your phone's notepad app, set aside a little bit of time to do some journaling. it's a really useful habit for a multitude of reasons, and you might find you feel lighter after you've put your thoughts to the page. going back through old journals can be affirming, emotional and even inspiring, so make sure to keep your writings safe...

cancer: get cosy! it's easy to get overwhelmed with life, especially when you can't get any time to yourself. so if you can, set aside a bit of time that suits you and just get comfortable. whether that's something like watching your cat play while you nurse a cup of tea, watching a comfort show with snacks and pjs, sinking into a book, whatever. do something that's just for you, and let yourself indulge a little bit...

leo: be nice to yourself. it's often easier to bully yourself than it is to be kind to yourself, but there's nothing conceited or big-headed about being proud of yourself and your accomplishments, acknowledging both your faults and your strengths, and treating yourself with the same kindness and respect you treat your loved ones with. in fact, it will help you to feel, think and do better, if you treat yourself better. so be your own biggest cheerleader, and take stock of the good in your life...

This one was written for an exchange and I don't remember the exact prompt, but I think it was about exploring the power differentials in the Akielon Court. I know Captive Prince is Not That Deep but buried underneath the id-fic and the enemies to lovers there's a whole lot about Damen as a self-absorbed young princeling and probably not a very good man who now has to reckon with What He Did To Others, and that awareness is very present every time I think about the pre-canon status quo of things.

This is a fic about the Jokaste/Damen early days; she's a minor noble who arrived to court and caught the attention of the Prince so what does the Prince's household do? Send her one of Damen's sex slaves so she can learn what Damen likes in bed. Damen has no idea this is happening, ofc. Things just happen around him that make his life easier. He's very present in the story even if not in the fic — this does NOT pass the Bechedel Test!! — and I think Jokaste is a bit haunted by this newfound knowledge. She's like, is this what Damen expects? Mentally calculating how she should behave. In my head, the Jokaste/Damen relationship included a lot of calculations and mental gymnastics on her side — studying what Damen wanted, understanding when going against expectations would get her noticed in a good way and when it might backfire, and so on — this is the beginning of one of those moments. Lykaios is just there! Which feels kind of depressing to type out but her role in this fic is to really Be There in the Sexy Lamp way, and kind of as a looming presence of Damen's role in everything.

Less than an hour before JD Vance and Tim Walz took the debate stage on Tuesday, Elon Musk hit pause on his usual shitposting of pro-Trump memes to send a more serious message to his nearly 200 million X followers.

“If you live in Pennsylvania and haven’t registered to vote, you only have 20 days left to do so!” he posted.

“Arizona’s voter registration deadline is only a week away!” he said in a second post a few minutes later.

Musk also included voter registration links for residents. By Wednesday morning, X’s metrics showed that those posts were viewed more than 30 million times, and the links received 1 million views each. Basically: A lot of people saw them. A lot.

It might not be 2008, Obama-style ground game, but it sure is something.

At the beginning of this election cycle, the Ronna McDaniel–led Republican National Committee was planning on building out a vast network of canvassers across the country, but plans changed suddenly when the Trump campaign took over the committee this spring. Instead of putting out the ground game themselves, they’ve dedicated their resources to combating whatever voter fraud they expect to encounter next month. Lately, the RNC’s been holding what they call “Election Integrity Zoom Seminars” instructing supporters on how to spot issues while poll watching.

And the Trump campaign’s been happy to outsource its get-out-the-vote efforts. The Musk-backed America PAC has taken the lead, hiring a few hundred canvassers in battleground states. Turning Point’s political operation is doing work in Arizona and Georgia.

Still, many GOP strategists fear it’s not enough, according to recent Politico reporting, and say they’re worried that Trump’s “paltry” ground game and get-out-the-vote efforts could cost him the election.

In the Politico report, Trump’s political director, James Blair, defended the campaign’s decision to invest less in IRL voter registration, saying that suburban voters, which have often been the focus of canvassing, are already more likely to vote. They just need, Blair says, to be convinced to vote for Trump.

As of this year, 42 US states allow online voter registration—including every contentious battleground state. Digital ads with easy call-to-action buttons linking out to any of these registration sites is definitely cheaper, and easier for the campaign and voters alike. Between Musk’s calls to action, Trump’s own missives online, and all of the campaign’s online initiatives with right-wing creators and influencers, voter registration is quite literally only a click away.

Perhaps even as a gift to Musk, Trump has effectively returned to X over the past few weeks, leveraging the largest online megaphone he’s ever had. On Tuesday evening, Trump posted a link to his campaign’s page asking for volunteers. As of Wednesday afternoon, it’s pinned at the top of his account. This could be the mark of a desperate candidate, but it could still prove to be very effective.

If the polls are correct, this election will be incredibly close. Trump’s base will likely turn out like they did in 2016 and 2020. The challenge is convincing nonvoters to turn out and boost the former president’s numbers. Many of these unlikely voters are young men; men aged 18-24 vote in far fewer numbers than older generations. To find and persuade them, Trump has worked with tough-guy and dude-bro podcasters and influencers whose audiences tend to be the exact people the campaign is trying to reach. Instead of one volunteer with a clipboard getting maybe a few dozen or even a hundred people to register in a day, these guys precisely reach millions of the voters the campaign needs.

In 2008, Barack Obama’s campaign transformed how elections are fought and won with its massive field operation across the country. At the time, traditional methods like phone banking were revolutionary. Now, no one answers their phones. If you’ve been reading this newsletter, you know the Kamala Harris campaign has done plenty of similar work online to what we’re seeing from the Trump team and Obama’s ‘08 campaign. The main difference, really, is that they’ve also invested in relational organizing, and are betting on the fact that a combination of random volunteers speaking with strangers, influencers posting to millions, and friends and family members reaching out with talking points will win November. Basically, Harris is casting a wide net while Trump goes all in.

Rather than hanging out at college campuses and grocery stores, it looks like the Trump campaign is betting on the internet to help them reach low-propensity voters. With millions of followers, and that sweet algorithmic luck, the Musk and Paul brothers could very well be Trump’s ace.

I honestly don’t have an OTP fkjdshf in any fandom. But ships I have with mutuals? Those tend to be my OTPs – but usually just with those people if they’re canon muses as I often become attached to people’s specific interpretations rather than who the muse are themselves. This can go into faceclaims too for ocs.

What are you willing to rp when it comes to shipping?

I think it’s easier for me to say what I don’t like when it comes to shipping. Highly toxic stuff is a big no for me personally since it makes me super uncomfortable and I feel bad writing it as a result of this, but other than that, everything is free game I guess??? I also don’t like Aged up muses like individuals who were like 13 or something aged up to 18 for shipping for a verse as that can stay 10000 feet away from me. So come at me with that and get a flat no and a block. I used to see this a while back in certain fandoms so maybe things are better nowadays....maybe.......

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

For immortal muses or muses with very, very long lives, this tends to be free game since as long as both them and the other individual share the same mental / physical maturity and they're adults then we’re good to go. For outside of this, five years is my max and anything above that is too much for me. This is different if both muses are older adults, though, as 40 and 45 become quite inconsequential.

Are you selective when shipping?

VERY. It’s one of the reasons why it can take some time for me to ship with someone in the romantic sense as I need to get to know the mun through ooc communication on the dash or through tags or something. I need to get a feel for those vibes. Since I don’t go into interactions looking for this, that also makes it take some time to actually get to that point. It’s rare for me to go outside of the slow burn period unless I know someone and we’ve talked a lot / discussed things.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they're considered nsfw?

For me, the moment a lot of touching starts to get involved is my cue that things are more than likely going to get pretty spicy from there and to get ready to slap that readmore / nsfw tag on there.

You can most certainly! Just don’t bring it up when we first start interacting because it’ll make me annoyed and that ship more than likely won’t ever happen. As I said, I don’t tend to be interested in ships much even with fandoms. However, I am fond of Ningguang and Beidou in Genshin. For Honkai, Bronya and Seele, and Natasha and Serval (I say that as if I have Honkai muses on here---). I like these in very specific ways and don’t tend to be fond of how fandom explores a lot of ships in general because I'm weird I guess FJHSJKFFS.

Hello! I'm curious about the 24/7 aspect of your relationship. This might be a silly or weird question, but do you like. Still do fun stuff with your partner? Like, watching movies and sending eachother memes and stuff. Is there constantly an element of power imbalance during this time? so i am very sleepy rn but wanted to answer this bc it was a genuinely nice and well worded question. i may rb with more info in the morning :)

first off, not silly at all! ik a lot of people have similar questions and i am very happy to respond (within my comfort zone obviously). 24/7 is kind of strange from an outside point of view, bc so few people do it, so it makes sense

we still do fun stuff! we watch movies, send eachbother funny posts, play games, etc. but it’s always with the context that i am his little brother. or for other parts, different relationships, but still the same dom and sub relationship. he can do what he wants to me (within limits we have discussed!) whenever, and he does tell me what to do, but we still have a lot of fun. sometimes he plays toys with me :) and i enjoy being annoying to him in a bratty way, it’s a kind of fun that is hard to get outside of this!

to add a little context to why 24/7 is right for me: i have found in past relationships that i am a bit uncomfortable with switching in the dom/sub sense or of “turning off” the dynamic, bc on a personal level, i desire a level of… consistentcy? that can’t be attained without it. no shade to anyone who likes that!! just not for me- i am both into domming and subbing, but i would be uncomfortable doing both with the same person. similarily, idk if i would be truly fulfilled in a relationship where the d/s is not always a factor. which somewhat lead me here tbh! my big brother and i have the same power imbalance always, just in different forms, which makes my need for consistency/stability very happy

our relationship kind of evolves with who we are at the time, but honestly, being 24/7 just makes it way better for me. absolutely nothing but positive changes. it requires a lot of trust and work, but there’s nothing more fulfilling to me than being his ngl. we’ve also moved in together and have figured out how to navigate that, and living together makes a lot of stuff easier, including this. it’s very hard to have 24/7 online… not that it’s impossible, we did it! but it isn’t the same thing.
