ok this is gonna sound wild. BUT. Me and my buddy @honeycomb-ferret are attempting to start up a clangen universe vaguely based on cults and evangelical religion, each clan being a different denomination of sorts. Very religious trauma/how growing up under different religions raises many types of different people type framework on a clangen blog. Rn I have it set as four clans but as little as three and as many as can border one another is fine, I love working with others and sharing universes and creativity

I also want to make it clear I’m not asking for free art. It would be your clangen blog and your cats and game and final decision on everything, I’m just looking to work with others on a creative project because I love bouncing ideas off others and sharing worlds with people. #My clan is Pineclan. They live in Appalachia esque pine woods and are extremely evangelical!#Cyrus has Spiderclan and they’re very prophecy based. Demanding direct word from starclan(ie omens prophecies etc) to make any decisions #The leader cannot act starclans will. Only starclan #Also I was originally going on tree names but spider is different probably because they look down on those /other/ guys #My other main idea for one is hollyclan. Who puts a lot more value into formerly living cats as patrons in a sort of old catholic way #Or even like. Greek mythology esque perhaps. Idk! God I fucking CALLED IT the other day I woke up and realized “oh I think I dreamed about M last night, her parents must be thinking of having a date night and asking me to babysit” and then this evening I got the text asking if I could watch her Saturday evening

#this is a consistent series of events I have never dreamed of her and not heard from her parents soon after #but then this is also the child who had just learned how to speak and asked me if I remembered when I used to be her mommy so there’s that #again I’m not saying I’m psychic #but sometimes I be knowin stuff #and my dreams have a tendency to be slightly prophetic though in uninteresting ways #which is why I’m so earnestly trying to figure out what that stray kitten dream might portend because I don’t usually dream about animals #except for the time I dreamt about two dogs that looked like the two dogs we ended up adopting #so if I had a dream about a stray kitten showing up and our cat loving it and taking care of it….#I’m kind of expecting to see a teeny tiny fluffy grey kitten in the near future #I figured out the car trouble dream where I was worried about a sewing machine from a couple weeks ago…#I drove across state lines to buy an antique sewing machine and then that night my thermo control valve shit the bed #you see what I mean by vaguely prophetic in uninteresting ways #and useless at that #except in the case of clearing my schedule for babysitting #they’re good for that #psychic stuff

I am never sleeping over at my parents house ever again goddammit

#note to self #the bed that ‘the dog totally doesn’t sleep on’ had hair all over #I had to chase multiple spiders off of it #I woke up about 2 hours ago with my sinuses briefly clear and the entire room smells like cat pee #to the point where I’m scared I smell like it too #the AC went out but nobody warned me before I got here #the answer to that was fans and leaving the windows open #which was nice and quiet after midnight. but at 3:45? So Many Birds #I love birds and I’m glad they’re able to chat #but they are so loud here and I am so sleepy #and I can’t close the window cuz I need airflow cuz it’s so warm #the tv is loud as hell and I can hear it all the way in my room over the sound of birds #I went and turned it down once dad started snoring but when mom got up she turned it back up to watch a movie #AND because they have to deal with the AC repair guy today idk who’s driving me home/when #I love the animals and if I had a vehicle I’d love to adventure around town #but again: cat pee smell. I think I would die if i ran into someone I knew while smelling like cat pee #a lot of this stuff isn’t my parents fault but I’m a petty bitch and I’m very tired

Help I said I was gonna wait until summer to get a dog but there are dogs at a local shelter that fit all my requirements and they are so good and what if I just went to look. Just to chat with the staff about these dogs. And perhaps casually filled out an adoption application for one of them well I’m there.

#there’s nothing to stop me but common sense #and really it would be nice to get a dog sooner so they have more time to settle in before some of my trips this summer #but also I’m about to start spring term of classes which is likely going to be rough #but. I’ve already been thinking about taking some time off from school this term for my mental health #so like. maybe this timing would make sense #Augh they’re so good #there’s three dogs from the same litter #smallish shepherd mixes they’re like 35 pounds #which is a good size #and two of them look a bit like my childhood dog #they’re good with cats and with other dogs and all have pretty good leash and crate manners #the shelter said one of them is pretty vocal but the other two aren’t #and that they all are moderately active so good for hiking and running but also able to chill on the couch #Augh. I need one of them. please
