latest webtoon updates have healed something hidden very deep inside of me

everyone settling into the hotel and figuring out the unsaid rules of cohabitation like

1 - it’s okay for Angel Dust to leave work stuff lying around IF ITS WASHED

2 - if you want a drink you ASK Husk. If you want to die you mess with his drink display

3 - TV is timeshared and if Alastor wants to use his timeslot to turn the tv OFF then no you can’t watch it just because he’s not using it

4 - Niffty can pin up the cockroach kill of the week in the lobby for everyone to wince at but it has to be on the cork board Charlie bought for her and she has to take the old ones down first each time

5 - if you break it you rebuild / replace it. You do NOT upgrade it with weapons while doing so (Sir Pentious THIS MEANS YOU) 5b - as long as it gets rebuilt / replaced no one gets to make a huge deal over something being broken or blown up again (or at Sir Pentious for doing it)

6 - don’t move around the fucking lobby furniture without moving it back afterwards 6b - if it’s in your room then you can do what you want but in all shared spaces the furniture NEEDS to be kept tidy and in proper place unless you want to hear swearing and sounds of violence as Vaggie trips over and throws her spear into a wall in frustration again, ruining the paper 6c - every third time this happens everyone has to sit through another presentation by Charlie explaining how having one eye is different when it’s not huge and in the middle of your head and you’re not basically at ground level

7 - Charlie can sing but only between 10am and 10pm unless it’s an emergency. If she tries singing outside of that whoever’s nearest is allowed to GENTLY hush her 7b - if you hush Charlie at any other time Vaggie will chase you. 7c - the above is NOT a recommended source of healthy exercise (you will have trauma)

8 - and above all have fun and FUCK yourself!

New crack radiostatic theory: the fallout between them was actually entirely in Vox’s head, and as far as Alastor is concerned, they’re still friends who just enjoy messing with each other. To him, “Stayed Gone” was just banter, and he has absolutely no animosity towards Vox whatsoever. When the Vees inevitably start shit in season two and everyone expects him to deal with them, he’ll just be confused, like “Why would I attack Vox? That’s my bestie?” as Vox screams obscenities at him through the TV.

HH: Charlie's transformation

I'm done with this and im super proud!

I have been wanting to go Eldritch Horror with Charlie because of the potential of her being a Nephilim is HUGE (pun intended)

Also a little lore dump of my design decisions:

Charlie is a sheep/lamb here. I chose the Jacob sheep for her horns, in 100% reference to the Jacob from the bible that defied God.

The cracks on her main eyes are doll like!

Tongue is inspired by a snake (Lucifer's genes) but Charlie is more dragon like (again in reference to The Beast from the Apocalypse)

Speaking of dragon, she breathes fire like her dad! But her fire is hotter, hence the blue-ish tone.

She has a mane like a lion! I thought it would fit with her hair + the feline sound she does when her hand transform in the finale.

I dont think I have to explain the eyes but they are basically her angel genes + the demon genes being freed and expressing on her with this amalgamation.

I would love to do a full version of Beast!Charlie so i can show off more of the body horror going on her

Alastor and Lucifer having a legit musical battle over who's a better father to Charlie is something I never dared to hope for, right along with a little hint that Alastor doesn't actually think of the hotel as fighting for a lost cause, so thank you episode 5, I will be replaying you frequently

Episode 6, you hit me with so many levels of whiplash I don't know if I'll be recovered by next week

It's so important to me that we all understand that hell and heaven in the Hellaverse aren't like two separate territories with equal power in a war that heaven happens to be winning.

Hell is a territory that Heaven rules.

Lucifer may be the king, but that is a position he was given by Heaven, because they have the power and authority to place people in charge of Hell,

And it's all well and good he WANTS to do better as a ruler. That he takes it seriously, or did at one point and/or is coming around to it again in the show, but its a possition with only as much power as Heaven wants to give it, and they want it to have less power than the General of Heaven's army, because Sera listens to Adam before she listens to Lucifer.

Lucifer, an Archangel, doesn't get to make demands of heaven. He doesn't even try. He gets to ask Sera to please stop the genocide of the people he was told to watch over. He gets to concede when they say no. Because heaven just gets to say no, because they get to decide what happens in hell without taking into account the opinions of Lucifer, or the seven sins, or the goetia or anyone in hell.

We all get that right?

That Charlie and the other's defending the hotel wasn't just the citizens of hell going up against an invading army. It only counts an an invading army ans not the occupying force because they don't actually stay there year round

Hell didn't just win their first battle in a war that's been raging for millennia. That was the first time hell organized to fight back against their theocratic dictatatorship- if not ever, than in millenia.

That was act of rebellion.

That was Hell declairing independence.
