A very familiar courtyard
#on the one hand: interesting to see such a recognizable filming location#our tour guide mentioned that while the show was being filmed they of course had an incinerator back there#but they weren't allowed to talk about the production#so if any guests doing the gallier house tour asked what it was they had to just act like it was normal#which did crack me (and the one other person on the tour who was also an iwtv fan) up#on the other hand: i did know that the upper floor on the left side of the real house were the quarters where the enslaved people lived#but still very jarring to see it in person#the interview™#jo.txt
