i have a rlly unique name for my frankly boring real name, but honestly it’s SO unique that i don’t even use my name online. but anyway a good equivalent to my name/nickname is my real name being (the equivalent to) Marcus and a nickname of Mars or something like that? if that makes sense. idk if that’s the best equivalent tho.

Do people feel like attached to their names? Is that a thing? Cause I really could go by anything I’m just used to the name I have. It doesn’t “feel” like me. Do people “feel” like their names?? I thought it was just a thing you go by, sort of like pronouns (though I am agender so that’s probably not a good example)

sometimes i get so caught up in my own aus that i forget that stuff i add into it isn’t canon. what do you mean the house of hearth kids under crucabena didn’t tend to use surnames to refer to each other, which is why ‘freminet’ is known as freminet despite that being a surname. what do you mean he and albedo aren’t like, incredibly complicated ‘cousins’.

Hmmm..

Part of me is tempted to change how I use this blog and my secondary blogs, specifically in the form of making this blog a much more “general/personal?/not for fanart”-type blog, and then actually going through with keeping different interests on different secondary blogs that are more directly themed around those interests (since I already have fitting URLs to use in a lot of cases).

I just think it might be better to keep different things more in their own spaces, so that I can have those spaces that are dedicated to them (like a Pokémon Reborn blog, and then a Kingdom Hearts blog, and so on). That way, people know what they’re getting when they follow me, and can also pick what sort of things they want to see by following the appropriate sideblog (which is easier than filtering out tags or something!)

I also think this sort of change is something that would make it easier to talk about my OCs and self-inserts (because I have a lot of them and I also like hearing about others’ but never feel very able to talk about my own here!), as well as perhaps live-blogging my own gameplay experiences more, because it’d be easier to do that on a blog that is already specific to the appropriate series. At the moment this blog is almost entirely reblogs, and it would probably stay that way, but it means this primary blog can be kept as more of a “whatever I want”-type space that then keeps all my secondary blogs more focused.

..I need to go have breakfast now, but I’m just wanting to put this out there as mainly a reminder for myself, and an opportunity for anyone to say what they think about the idea if they want to. Thank you for reading! Comments or advice are appreciated but not required~

Id say I’m neutral because making either pro or anti your whole personality is just weird. There are ships I don’t like but as long as it isn’t lolisha shit im not gonna fight over it. Ship what you like and be mindful of ones that make others uncomfortable and the language used and don’t be mad when people block or disengage with it. But also don’t harass people for what they ship the stupidity goes both ways.
