every so often i think abt the mountain of doomed timeline angel!belle corpses faye has left to rot in the dead world space of abandoned timelines. blue suns left to burn out on their own. they do not count they don't affect belle as she is [and inevitably fails again] and certainly faye doesn't shed any tears over them (tears are shed but only for her own doomed endeavor of guiding this obstinate child to the hallowed endgame) by motd faye has burned through hundreds if not thousands of incarnations of belle & the final marionette who made it, took her to the doorstep of moon-rest, now demands to know why she did it & belle is not asking abt all the dead versions of herself she has no knowledge of but faye is talking from the perspective of someone who has reset this (dream) game so many times it is no wonder she is so entirely detached and incomprehensible about it :>
