basically Vox has been a regressor for a long time, since before Val was even around and shortly after they started dating he explained it to him and Val was like "hey I wanna try that too!" and Vox was like "great when I'm not regressed I can be your caregiver" but Val started expecting Vox to be big for him all the time and Vox doesn't ever get a chance to regress when Vals around

Even if Val isn't regressed he still reprimands Vox for regressing even though he pretended to be accepting at first and even tried it for himself

Vel babies Vox when Val isn't around but that's not often

Warnings: Mention of reader's teeth falling out (nothing too graphic), mention of blood, reader regressing out of panic, mention of going to the dentist, mention of pain killers, little to no dialogue

Summary: You find yourself having teeth pain and tried to not let it bother you so much. But when the pain becomes too much and one falls out, all hell breaks loose. Thank god you have your caregivers by your side.

Author's Note: Thank you so much anon for the request! This is adorable! I love it so much! I'm basing this off of what my mother used to do when I was a child when a tooth would fall out. This won't be too long so I hope I was able to make sense. (Also I did research and it is possible to keep your baby teeth. It's called Adult Baby Teeth. Isn't that crazy?!)

When the dentist told you that some of your baby teeth were going to take a while to come out, you weren't too bothered by it. It was something that you weren't expecting but took it in stride. Most of them had already fallen out and you were just waiting on the last two or three.

The boys were aware of this and made sure that they were there to support you. Whenever your teeth hurt, one of them would have some painkillers and something soft to eat. Today, your tooth was hurting more than usual. You weren't sure why and it was getting frustrated. It had been a while since your teeth had started to hurt and man, you were annoyed. You didn't want to deal with this aggravating pain. You tried to ignore it as much as possible but the frustration was only growing.

That's how your caregivers found you. Schlatt sighed and hugged you. "What's up buttercup?" He always seemed to read your body language quicker than the others. You buried your face in his chest and complained about your teeth. Schlatt nodded and rubbed your back. "Why don't we have some lunch? After that, we'll get you some meds." Charlie ran his fingers and offered to make sandwiches. You nodded and let go of Schlatt.

Ted had wrapped you in your favorite blanket and picked you up. You squealed, not expecting the action. The three were trying to get you to regress, to hopefully take off the edge you seemed to have. Ted took you to the couch and let you choose something to watch on the tv. You felt yourself slowly slip when Charlie came back with the sandwiches. The four of you began to eat but after a couple of bites in, your mouth felt weird. You moved your sandwich away and saw a tooth sticking out of it and blood on the bread.

A whimper left your throat as you felt the blood swimming in your mouth. Right before the tears started to fall, Ted noticed the blood and tooth on your sandwich. "Shit." He muttered, taking the sandwich out of your hands and picking you up. He quickly took you to the bathroom to wash out your mouth. Charlie took the tooth out of your sandwich and threw the now bloody meal away. Schlatt and Charlie rushed to the bathroom and helped reassure you.

All of this panic made you feel incredibly small and fragile. Big tears were falling from your glassy eyes as Ted inspected your mouth. "It was a clean pull. There is just a lot of bleeding. Schlatt could you grab a red popsicle from the freezer?" Schlatt nodded and ran off while Charlie stayed and played with your hair. "You're so brave, sweetheart. Your big kid teeth are ready to come in." Ted said, rubbing your cheek. Schlatt came back with a red otter pop already cut open.

You opened your mouth and let Schlatt hold it for you while you began to suck on the red ice. The cold treat helped numb the pain and soothed your soft cries. The three took you back to the couch and continued what you four were watching. You cuddled up next to Schlatt and played with Charlie's fingers. Ted played with your hair and casually talked about whatever you all were watching. The three would crack jokes and complain about inconsistencies. You didn't mind though. Their voices helped lull you to a comfortable sleep. Charlie was the first to notice you asleep and shushed the other two. One at a time, the three kissed your forehead. They turned down the tv and kept the bickering to a minimum. Hopefully, by tomorrow, you'd be feeling better enough to celebrate your tooth coming out.
