One of those situations

I apologize ahead for shit spelling and grammar just got wisdom teeth removed and on pain meds but cant sleep cause im thinking about this. One time I had a guy and his son come in to buy matching outfits. They waited because a pair of jeans didnt have a tag and i needed the correct one for inventory. Long story short manager forgets to hand me back other pair of jeans simple misunderstanding i dont notice and finish the transaction up. They call us up like “we dont have one of our items!!!” Dad comes in i hand him the pants apologizing sincerely for the mistake and he gave me such a dirty look like i was trying to steal them honestly im still mad a month later. But his son was 18 wearing a sleaveless hoodie in 40ish degree weather with weak muscles trying to look tough and he was 50 something wearing rock and republic jeans so not the biggest mistake in that situation.
