The small cottage in the middle of the woods was lit up with lanterns, allowing a decent amount of space to be seen in the dark night. Something particular about tonight has been... strange.

A strange, dark figure has been standing in the same spot, staring at the cottage.

The young man that owned the cottage couldn't get a good look at the strange being, and had to look outside.

"Hello? Who's there?" he asked.

The figure didn't move. Although, it appeared to be shaking.

"Who are you, what do you want?"

No response. Perhaps maybe he needed to be a bit more welcoming.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he asked louder.

"S-Sir..." the figure spoke up. It had the voice of a young Australian man, smooth and low. "Please- Please help me..."

The young man opened the back door and stepped outside. "Are you able to walk?"

"Y-Yes," he croaked. The figure stumbled over to the cottage, and his face was lit up. He had honey brown hair and eyes, and his lips and cheeks were plump, with the detail of freckles on his cheeks. The boy was wearing no clothing, and was scratched and bruised up. He was no older than 15.

"Oh my God! Are you okay?!"

"I don't know what happened... One minute I was outside with my sisters... The next I was..." He was stumbling on his words.

"Please, come inside! I want to help you," the young man said, quickly walking over to the boy, helping him inside.

"Thank you, thank you so much..."

The young man ran to his room to grab some clothes for the boy. He decided to give him a pair of sleep pants and a tshirt. "You need to tell me what happened."

As the boy put on the clothes, he was shivering. "It's so cold out there... Thank you sir..."

"Come over here, sit down with me." It was time for some inquiring.

"Uh... Sure," said the boy, walking over to the living room and sitting down on a couch.

"How old are you, boy?" was his first question.

"15, I'm going to be 16 soon," was his answer.

"Okay, what were you doing out there, naked and alone at night."

"I had to get away from my family, I didn't want to scare or hurt them... It hurts, I miss them..." He lowered his head.

"Why were you scared that you were gonna hurt them?" The young man made a face.

"I- I turned to something... A wolf..." He seemed bugged out even by just saying it. His horror and fear was genuine.

"A wolf? Kid, are you being serious?!" His eyes widened.

"I know! I know it- it sounds crazy, but I'm not making this up! Sir you have to believe me..." he pleaded.

The young man looked at him. "When did this happen."

"Just a day ago... That's why I was naked. The transformation ripped all my clothes off..." He was embarrassed and his cheeks flushed.

"Boy, do you know what this means?" The young man sat down across from him.

"What?"

"I'll give you a new family." The young man smiled.
