2 oz Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey

2 oz Kahlua Liqueur (coffee liqueur)

1/2 oz Vodka

1 oz Half & Half or Heavy Whipping Cream

Pour Skrewball, Kahlua (I used Cafe Bueno) and vodka over ice. Shake. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Pour in half and half. Swirl it up with a chopstick.

The original recipe said to smear peanut butter on the rim but I wash the dishes in this house and I don’t want to chew on peanut butter while I drink.

Would the Dude drink this? Probably. Will I ever drink another? Ehhh… It’s sort of tasty but the Skrewball whiskey is an odd addition to a cocktail and I’m not sure. I’m not living it but I’m not hating it either. I buy weird bottles and I’m trying figure out what to do with them and it was either this or a peanut butter and jelly cocktail and this one won. The Skrewball is VERY sweet, but maybe it’d be good with a Coke?

Next time I’m going to sort out the random bottle of Aquavit I bought. Suggestions for Aquavit cocktails?

something I did learn after some conversations and googling after this poll is that us whiskey haters aren't insane it does just taste like drinking a glass of jet fuel to us. bc it has to do with genetics and the amount of bitterness receptors you have. people with less often can't taste bitterness and these are the fuckers that insist whiskey tastes like caramel

I know we all give tumblr shit and it deserves most of it, but this site has never worsened my mental state about the world or encouraged me to act like in idiot in public for internet clout. There's no one picking apart my appearance, no over consumption pressure, and brainwashing.

There's no algorithm!!! I can control what I see and who I listen to, and I've found so many cool people! Just doing their thing, Showing off cool shit they like! Cool shit they made or did! Insane artists and writers who water the soul! People trying to spread accurate news coverage in disaster/war stricken areas! Beacons of humanity all over, brought together on this blogging site using Word of mouth to build a vastly diverse community. Granted there's the psychic damage of receiving world events through a destiel meme and crabs, but the point is. As much as I have hated tumblr in the past. I'm probably going down with this ship and it's crew till it crashes and burns gently into the night.

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.
