Oh to be able to make the complex lore comic that lives in my head about the concept of fairies, anti-fairies, and pixies once being a civilization of one single species of fae that splintered both metaphorically and literally due to internal conflict

#Basic concept: one fae has their good and bad sides split into the fairy and anti fairy #While what remains (ie their more 'grey' traits) are left behind as a third being that's more of a Husk than anything #Pixies are kind of like the Kingdom Hearts nobodies in my head #None of them are directly associated or bonded to any single fairy the way anti-fairies are #They're just sort of a mixed bag of leftovers #Different from Nobodies in that aspect #The conflict that caused the initial split was the decision to stop doing harm to the humans through the planting of changelings #Which eventually evolved into a debate over how they treated humans in general #All desires to help and care for the human race was separated into fairies #While all desires to do harm was divided into antifairies #And then the left over unrelated stuff (like not caring about the humans either way and only being self interested instead) became the pixie #Unfortunately for everyone involved the split caused a severe decrease in magical abilities for all sides #Since it was really just one magic that was split into thirds #Having children was also banned at this point because there was no way of knowing if the children would be of one side #Or if they would be the original unsplit species #And there was concern this would cause conflict #I also like to think the heads of each faction erased the populations memories of their origins eventually #If only to make it easier to dehumanize the other factions and elevate themselves by erasing any associations with them #There are still some fae who exist who either were part of the split but escaped before they had their memories wiped #Or were never affected by the split and therefore still exist as the original form of fae #With all three 'types' of magic under their control #ANYWAY #fop a new wish #Fop #fopanw #fairly oddparents #fairly oddparents a new wish #A new wish

#elena of avalor #beauty and the beast #batbedit #disneyedit #eoa edit #belle x beast #estebalena #kinda but also not kinda #I think a lot about the fact that it's been confirmed that this is an intentional homage #like EoA series supervising director Elliot M. Bour was just like casually bringing BATB into things as an Easter egg #since it was his first job in animation #and like don't get me wrong; I LOVE that he did this. I just don't know how he expected anyone (i.e. me) to be normal about it afterwards #once you've introduced BATB; it ceases to be a fun and casual reference and just makes the literature major girlies go feral #i thought this was gonna be a quick and easy little project but it wasn't #the parallels are all there but they're in slightly different order in EoA than the original and the pacing for each reference is differen #so i had to determine which ones I needed to skip frames for and which ones to use all the frames #and then try to figure out the speed from there #the coronation day scenes were very hard to color because the grey skies and muted filter kind of whitewash the characters #like you don't even understand i added so MUCH vibrance and saturation to the 4th and 5th gifs but elena's skin still is just gray #and the coloring is still just a very very mixed bag #also i've realized that while I don't think it was an intentional reference in the same way BATB was #anna's sacrifice and resurrection from frozen is perhaps just as --if not more-- a clear parallel to the coronation day scene than BATB #so maybe I will do that one someday too?#once i psych myself up again to try coloring coronation day again #which i imagine will be awhile #these do not look like the same scene and pretty much the same scene at all even if i tried to use the same psd when i could #and edit them to make the coloring as close as i could

I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.

What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?

In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.

The chain as a whole would want to prove her right xD )#Once they're more comfortable in the house though I can totally see Wind and Legend making a mad dash for it while Wars yells after them xD #Wind probably ends up sharing with Four a lot since they're the littles #or Wind snuggles in with Wars Legend Wild etc #Wild and Twi/Wolfie have claimed the spot on the floor by the fireplace.#For inn rooms / castle rooms / camping - I tend to group them by how they're grouped a lot already #but a lil mixed up #Time - Sky - Wars are the good rest trio. they want a good night's rest please let them get their beauty sleep. often joined by Four #Wars goes between this group and wherever Legend is depending on how chatty he is that night.#Twi - Wild - Hyrule are snuggle/proximity buddies #Legend is attached to Hyrule's hip or sets up near Warriors to gossip and gripe. I can also see him setting up near Wild #in the eye of the storm as it were or just an interesting place to be. Wild and Hyrule can get to chatting about everything and anything #so if Legend wants background noise (Hyrule and Wild podcast omg)-#or a conversation he can be half a part of and jump in and out of while getting ready for the night or in the mornings-#this is a good place to be. add Wind and things get a bit more chaotic.#Wind gravitates to Wars and Legend too when curious and chatty. He gravitates towards Time when he wants something calmer.#Four tends to be near Sky or Twi or to Legend's group for the same reasons #I can see Four and Twi having a little book club going during downtimes where they talk about what they're reading. Sky likes to listen. <3 #Wind thinks they're nerds but so is he and he can't resist a good story so he orbits and sometimes settles in and peppers questions.#it's funny that Time Sky and Wars want to sleep the most but Legend follows Wars to chat (and ends up bringing people with him xD )#there could be some conflict there oooo #Twi is by Time #it's almost a circle but with clusters of sleeping bags near on top of each other and filling the gaps

I realized when scrounging around google images and pinterest that I dislike looking for outfit refs on it. I love my pictorial dictionary books I use for western inspired historical garb, if anyone has any recommendation for a non-western book about costume designs I would be very grateful ...

start of 2022 to june 2023 was the longest streak i ever went without going to the hospital outside scheduled appointments and not even a year later i have a nearly three week stint in the hospital and am back to being on a feeding tube 16 hours a day for the first time since i was a toddler. i usually joke about being disabled and stuff but this shit sucks. i hate that my health has just been insane since i’ve been in the womb and there’s absolutely no stability in terms of knowing how well i’m doing. stopped having hospitalized pneumonias when i was ten, then had one when i was 17 and like it’s been almost ten years but who knows!!! hopefully the next time i need heart surgery it’ll be a cardiac cath instead of open heart b it who’s to say!!! we never thought I’d be on a tube again but here i am at 26 and I’ve had two types just this month!!! all the doctors talking to me tell me how well i’m handling things and how complex my case is and how they hope they get me “back to normal” because i’m “just so young” and then just look sad when i say I’ve gotten used to this since birth. i’m just so fucking tired. this shit just doesn’t end y’know, you think you’re finally something close to normal and healthy and then you realize you were just going through a quiet period

anyway sorry for the vent post have a picture of my dear sweet friend pim pimling

#had a phlebotomist during my stay walk in and go ‘you’re too young to be here!’#and I try to joke and have a good attitude and just kind went ‘eh I’ve been in hospitals since I was a baby!’#and she just got quiet and sad and like. sorry. really wasn’t trying to bring the mood down #(she was right though. I was the youngest on the floor by about thirty years)#anyway one of my surgeons wants to present my case at a Gi conference so that’s fun #the thing is I have a lot of rare defects that aren’t inherently comorbid which is… complicated #I’ve had many doctors straight up admit they don’t know what to do with me #some of my disabilities are commonly comorbid but… a lot of them really aren’t. i’m just a weird mixed bag #and a lot of people even medical professionals have just never met anyone with some of my disabilities #they’re not like. ‘only a few hundred or thousand cases’ type of rare #but they’re ‘if you’re not a specialist you could probably never meet someone with this’ rare for some of them

My observation with Rivals 2 is:

If you're someone who plays and enjoys a lot of different platform fighters, then you'll probably really enjoy this game.

If you're someone who has only focused on one platform fighter before, you're less likely to enjoy it.

#PM players seem to be taking to it the most #Melee players like it too but you know Melee will always come first #Rivals 1 fans are a mixed bag since there's quite a few that don't like the gameplay changes #Ultimate players seem to be struggling to adjust to the game more than most #Brawlhalla and Multiversus players are just bewildered

hey sorry for the stupid question but what is the weather like in australia? I used to think it was really hot there most of the year but when chanlix or skz are filming in australia it's not that sunny and it's it doesn't look like it's really hot either lol

Climate change gets the best of us </3 skz has only ever visited Melbourne and Sydney, these are both south eastern states so unlike say Western Australia or the Northern Territory or even Queensland, we aren't as hot as they are- contrary to the image of Australia that tends to exist I.e literal desert in the outback, we get winter and we get rain, it's autumn right now and today's forecasted temp is 27°c so... that's not exactly cold, but it's not always hot? It's all over the place lol
