I gonna talk differently here so just skip it (lol) :

Anyone already watch Firefly anime video ? SO MANY SAMS THANK YOU VERY MUCH It's pretty sad, on par with Acheron which is good rather than dating with TB isn't. But then again I'm even more sure now, hoyo gonna kill that girl in next version !

The reasons why she need to die for real ? First and foremost, if not two dating scene with TB aren't make sense ! She's too friendly with TB for my liking which means TB and Firefly already meet as Stellaron Hunter (it's 99% sure, 1% just don't have any real scene lol) and it definitely sure TB is the one who tell her outside world. So if Firefly didn't die in bang especially without saving TB from danger, then all TB x Firefly hidden scene (lol) and her reasoning to die as human will be gone.

After finish watch the anime version, I had feeling "I still have one last role" vibe from it. She even wondering the same as Churin "why people live only to die later" question, so if hoyo decide her dead scene after saving Trailblazer and finally had an answer for that question, she's really complete as a character

And as I said in previous talk, there's must be a reason Welt came in Firefly interview. If it's about SAM (robot), then Silver Wolf should be sufficient. If from my side, I think AE members already acknowledge her as their partner.

IF after next version hoyo decide not to kill her (like making her in coma or something), then it's just means there's bigger power played behind the scenes (I mean whaler screams and money lol). And IF hoyo makes Firefly dying there, I gonna pull for her and abandon Jiao Qiu as my highest compliment on hoyo storywriter !

This chapter focused on Leo/Need again. Not disheartening anyone but L/N and additionally MMJ isn't that interesting to me which is the main reason my mood isn't doing good for this and stopped the translation (lol)

I basically just apologized because I was the og anon who mentioned the full leak the SH Sunday info came from was sus/heavily stated not confirmed from what I gathered online, but many people saw it, took it, ran with it outside of the full context and made it look more confirmed. It seems a lot has happened to your inbox since then so I hope it wasn't too much of a bother! I overthink these things...

honestly I have personally seen great reasonings both for and against the SH and AE for Sunday. I have faith that whatever they write for him will be great regardless, but I do hope it will be AE just to see him more x) I heard (I don't recall this being said in a stream but I may be wrong) that Shaoji's fave character from the cast IS Sunday, so I definitely think extra care will be given and regardless of where he ends up, the story will be satisfying.

And who knows... maybe he will be given the Firefly treatment where he gets a bunch of ads and additional screen time 👀 personally I'm anxiously awaiting his merch series. hyv never fails in that department (well, maybe they miss out on small seemingly better merch ideas but still lol). Like I bought some Aven and Robin merch and I am SO excited for future versions of those that will be Sunday themed (like light cone sand block). Plus his cute little nendo with Robin and oh boy I'm getting sidetracked lol

Personally I wasn't fully sold on the SH Sunday side until I saw a video on YouTube about it. All people talking about it really glossed over details and made it sound very circumstantial vs tailored to Sunday. I also do think that though Sunday has done some morally ambiguous things, I lowkey feel like he would still ?? can't think of the word but I imagine a version of Sunday almost clutching pearls because of the intensity of what the SH do sometimes. He viewed his ideals/methods as worth it, but idk if he'd feel that way about others' methods for similar ideals, if that makes sense. Either way, I'm excited for him to be a permanently relevant cast member. WE ARE IN THE FINAL STRETCH I CAN'T WAIT

IDK !! i still think sh sunday would be a fun idea BECAUSE of how he clutches his pearls but he's still there regardless bc elios plan to save the universe is pretty appealing... also adds the whole paradise thing in there too if that makes sense.... but again ae is also amazing for him so good for lil baby

Part Two (Stellaron Hunters)

Like the last one with the Astral Express, I am listing my opinions on aspects of the HSR designs, including things I kinda dislike or at least would change about certain playable designs in HSR to help myself with planning some of my own designs/redesigns for future art!

And I am so excited to get onto three of my favorite designs in this game!! The Stellaron Hunters are my babies and I originally was going to include them in the AE part 1 post, but sadly exceeded some kind of limit on the post while rambling about both of the groups designs, so they get their own post! And y'know what if that gives me more room to talk about them, I am not upset!

Ofc, Disclaimer: I am not a professional character designer, I'm not saying any of my ideas for them are objectively better or improvements even, nor am I bashing any of these designs. This is just my opinion and I like most if not all of the playable designs at the moment! I just have a few thoughts regarding them.

The List part 2:

Silver Wolf: I really like her design, I think honestly the Stellaron Hunters (at least for the trio, still forming my thoughts on Sam's) are easily some of the best designed characters in HSR so far. I do think out of those three designs though, Silver Wolf might be the weakest? Not that it's bad ofc, as I just said I think they're some of the best designs, but alongside Kafka and Blade, it feels like there's more that could be done with her design. They went ham on having so many like "Haha look she's a gamer!" details on her outfit that it ends up a bit eye rolling when you keep seeing all the details. The buttons hanging from her belt, the controller garter, the pattern on the fabric hanging from her hip for no reason, the power button logos on her her belt in multiple places and the strap that hold her knife, and that's not even all of them. It's just a bit much. Yes, she's a gamer, we get that. It doesn't need to be sprinkled throughout her design this much, at least not in this way. Because the way they did it, admittedly looks a bit gimmicky since it's only visual details rather than anything more is the best way I can describe it. I would maybe give her a few more items in place of all of these little things. Give her a visible earpiece, or some other kind of hands off communication device. Give her more devices if you're gonna have her adorned with all these straps, make them useful. Though I have two (maybe three?) other bigger ideas that could either work for changing her up physically, either separately or somehow together in a design. I'm stuck between the idea of giving her comfier clothes, both to reflect her more laid back personality and also to fit more so with what she does, or giving her more of a tech wear influence in her design, especially considering PunkLorde is meant to be a cyberpunk themed place. I feel like there's a better way to reflect that influence in her design. Also I dunno about you, but when I think cyberpunk I think of Neons a bit. I’m not saying turn her whole color palette that, but I think in a few of the patterns or in little details adding tiny touches of neon would look cool and help make her pop out a bit. (Sorry this ended up rambling, when I actually draw my thoughts for her, it will come through cleaner and clearer. Overall, I really like her design still even if there's a lot of details I would preferably change.)

Kafka: Kafka is one of my favorite designs, I adore her, I adore the spider, the web, and even the butterfly motifs present in her design. Her color scheme has a sense of allure to it if that makes sense, well balanced throughout her from head to toe. If I were to change something, it would be to make her design more show-y, a little more over the top. As it stands, Himeko has a more ostentatious design than her. Which feels off to me. "Oh but she's going on missions, taking people out, and collecting Stellarons. Her practical design makes sense." Very true, but also these missions aren't merely just missions. They are performances, displays of acting according to Elio's scripts in order to obtain the results he needs for the future. Kafka, of the rest of the Stellaron Hunters we've seen so far, seems to be the one that best fits into the role of Elio's dramatic villain/anti-hero. I mean just compare her presence in the Luofu quest to like Blade also in the Luofu quests, or Sam in the Penacony ones. There is a difference in dramatics and performance. She beckons the audience's (and law enforcement's) eyes towards her, as she strings them along with her schemes and plans. She is made to be the one in the lime light, delivering monologues and putting on the best show for everybody. When we look at the few missions of the Stellaron Hunters we’ve seen so far, Kafka does fit the bill as the star of his show, his leading actor in the role of the antagonist. As such, I think Kafka could benefit from making her outfit a bit more dramatic, leaning into the role she plays even further. Especially when thinking about how playing up that dramatized version of herself would work with the facade she's hinted at putting up. I do adore it the way it is, I just think more could be done with it. Lean a bit harder in, and by nature of making her more over the top, that could lead to the potential for a more interesting silhouette depending on how it's handled. Maybe even some more elements to influence like making it more over the top could be inspired from the Kafka Stigmata in HI3rd

Blade: I can’t lie to y’all. I think his design is close to perfection. I think it’s so well done (even though the silhouette could use some work? Depending?), it’s absolutely packed with symbolism. However, aside from just some silhouette adjustments, something I would change is the emphasis of how injured he is. The injuries he feels every single day of his life, that can’t heal because of Jingliu essentially overriding the default state his body is trying to restore. It’s a big thing in his lore, so much so that it’s been mentioned multiple times including in a main companion quest and literally up front show to us face to face. That cg of him with the sword in his chest feels like somebody stuck a sword in mine every time I see it, I swear. But design wise, I feel like this point about him and his history doesn’t shine through as well, and it feels like the gravity of that time isn’t properly portrayed in his design. Like let me emphasize, Bailu’s words might suggest that the default state for some of his injuries is literally open and bleeding so... And you might think “Oh that’s funny, when he’s literally covered in bandages like his arm and chest.” Well, I’ll one up you by clarifying if you look up his jacket as he runs, you’ll see his model has bandages ALL the way down his torso!! But the thing is, this is covered by his jacket. We only see his hand bandaged and a little peek at his chest, but his face? Completely fine. The rest of his body? Perfectly covered not showing anything. If I could change his design just a bit, first off, I’m making his coat more tattered and broken. Yes he gets his coat replaced at times, but that doesn’t mean we need to always see it in pristine condition. He’s a fighter, making his coat have tears in it, leave the edges worn down, more fabric than just his red ribbons to be frayed at the ends. In those tears of his clothes, either show bandages (left up to you whether to be seen as fresh injuries covered waiting to heal or more wrapped remnants of Jingliu’s slashes) or scars on every single bit of skin that manages to peek out from that coat. And for some flavor, add some scars to his face however big or small. There’s no way I can believe Jingliu killed him hundreds of times and didn’t at least once go for a head shot. I bet that woman knows the extent of his healing like the back of her hand, I bet she could answer my question about how exactly Blade’s body would heal if his limbs were severed. If he has some part of himself not covered, it should have evidence that he was harmed there! Never let us forget that part of his lore! NEVER!!

(I promise I’m totally not insane about him, what ever could lead you to that conclusion?)

I want to say, I will eventually update this once we have more Sam lore, perhaps I’ll include Sam with the Penacony characters post to make it easier or I’ll just redo the Stellaron Hunters post and revise and revisit my ideas for these three! As it stands, I want to wait until we have more Sam lore and more things cleared up about them before I jump into talking about the armor design or things I know from leaks until it’s been confirmed or disproven so I can give better my thoughts about the design in relation to the character!! Please stay tuned, I can’t decide if I should go for Overworld Belobog first because I have more clear ideas (including a rant about one specific character) or if it’s best to go to Herta Space Station first in order to just go in order essentially. Who knows ! Well! I hole you enjoyed this, I adore the Stellaron Hunters and any time I am able to talk about them I am very happy :D

Alert Theory!!! Luocha

I hope everyone did their companion quest for Luocha and actually got him on the Parlor Car because otherwise this is SPOILER.

To use with caution.

So, if you went back to check the video at the Commission you will get, first of the achievement for the hidden side of Luocha, and then this scene play:

So, Luocha got his coffin at his side (how? he went back to the inn to get it?) and he is also talking to it. That should be the Ambrosial Arbor?

So, what do we know about Luocha? Not much, he is a travelling merchant, so probably has a lot of names depending on the planet to make himself look more friendly. I don't know if there is a language barrier between the different planets, but definitely there is a cultural barrier. Maybe his name is too much different from the names used on Xianzhou that he switched on a more familiar name for his clients to use while on the ship.

We know, thanks to Dan Heng's side story, that Luocha was on Cloudport after it was closed for the emergency, and after Silver Wolf hacked our way in. Dan Heng found him alongside Sushang maybe 30-45 minutes after Stelle, March and Welt departed and met Tingyun that says "nobody else should be here", so he possibly came a little after the main team but before Dan Heng. If my reasoning is correct, Luocha didn't cause the Stellaron incident, since everything was closed because of the Stellaron Incident. Kafka asked the Astral Express crew's help because the Xianzhou had a problem with the Stellaron but it wasn't their (Kafka and Blade) fault (most likely they knew that was going to be a problem and needed the AE crew to be there for all the reason to get the MC powerful enough to fight Nanook).

But why was he in front of the Arbor before it was revived with the Stellaron?

He says "yes, none of this is our concern... The journey has only just begun to-" that can be read differently if you think he did revive the Arbor or not.

He didn't revive the Arbor: Luocha being there to do something about the Arbor being revived even if the conflict between the Sanctus Medicus and Xianzhou is not his problem.

He did revive the Arbor: the conflict between the Sanctus Medicus and Xianzhou, the problem the Arbor will cause, all of this is not his concern because it's only a step for a journey that has only begun.

If we take the complete phrase, the second option is the most likely. At the beginning I was thinking he didn't revive a thing and he was most likely a red herring to point the direction of the audience elsewhere, while the culprit did everything. But I find it's unlikely for Hoyo to do so, I mean, look at Dan Heng, we speculated about him being a dragon boy because there were hints about it and if we look now at certain promo images, everything fit. And here there are hints that says the Luocha did something on or near the Ambrosial Arbor, he is hiding something inside the coffin, and he is kind of suspicious even inside the Parlor.

So, he has sensed the Stellaron in our "possession" but it's different from the others Stellaron.

First of all, I don't think Luocha is Otto or Void Archives from HI3. There would have been an hint about it in his dialogue with us on the Parlor (since Welt is there!!) but nothing. Actually he doesn't acknowledge anyone in it, until we speak to him. The others interact with Himeko and Welt in some way, Luocha doesn't. Even Welt says it's possible that he is just someone who shares the same appearance:

and we have a very present example of this: Bronya Raad and Silver Wolf. Both share the same appearance but have different ages, different experience and different lives. Himeko herself is a different version of another Himeko, Seele, Bronya, Natasha... they all are.

From what I see, Luocha is marginally involved in everything in Xianzhou, but his appearance, the fact is hiding something, especially during a time like that, make him very suspicious and this could be something that Elio and the Stellaron Hunters are using at their advantage. He is also very powerful and most likely an ally than an enemy.

Basically my theory is that Luocha is a Red Herring, one crafted by the story so that we can focus on him and not on someone else. He is definitely hiding something but it's not related to this Stellaron Crisis. He managed to gain Dan Heng's trust so he was invited to the Astral Express (I absolutely think that The Astral Express got a consciousness and physically can stop people from accessing without an invite, different problem is when they are not physically there, like Kafka and Silver Wolf's hacking, or the Messenger for the Forgotten Memories) but he won't interact with anyone on his own.

What do you think? Is Luocha involved with this crisis or has a bad timing?

The Dragon Reborn, Chapter 36 - Daughter of the Night

(Crescent moon icon) In which, just what are you up to?

PERSPECTIVE: Perrin sticks his head quietly into several cabins, trying to figure out which is supposed to be his, until he finds an empty, windowless cabin. He hopes they're far enough down river to keep away from the wolves and the dreams they seem to bring.(1) Part of his mind is on Faile as he gets ready for bed, but mostly he's thinking about Elyas and how he managed to live without becoming all wolf for so many years. Perrin doesn't want to think of his life as a piece of iron only fit to smith into one thing.

He reaches tentatively for the wolves and finds the merest impression in the distance. Relieved, exhausted, he collapses into his hammock... and dreams of fog. Hopper appears out of the fog, seems to indicate silence, and gives an impression of wanting P to follow, so he does.

Hopper leads him to a gathering of Darkfriends, with Ishamael, who punishes one for letting "the boy" leave Tar Valon,(2) to the point he kills the man, and tells the others to "wake and obey", then sends them back off. For a moment, Ishy is alone, and then Lanfear shows up, saying he's making free use of her domain. Ishy says if she's claiming the domain, does she no longer serve the Dark One? She serves, but dreams were always hers to use, to walk.(3)

Ishy names her (striking fear into Perrin's invisible self) and says she always thought she was greater than she really was. She says she's as great as she is. What have his plans come to? Nothing, and Lews Therin walks the world again. He was hers before he ever met Ilyena, and will be hers again.

Ishy questions Lanfear's servitude of the Great Lord again, she confirms again, and they begin to disappear somehow. Hopper leads Perrin away, and P thinks he's going as mad as anyone ever has.

When they're away, Hopper says P had to see that, and when P asks how he can be here when he's dead, H explains that wolves are connected to this place, all wolves are here, all that are, were, or will be. Here Hopper can soar like a bird, and he does so. Perrin almost cries at the sensation of joy Hopper is conveying.

He turns to see if anyone saw him, and is transported well away, to see a circle of Myrddraal and men and women approaching Rand. Rand is throwing fire, lightning, bars of light like white hot steel. Perrin yells that more are coming, Rand snarls and throws something at him.

Perrin wakes, to a burn on his chest the size of a silver penny. He thinks he should tell Moiraine, but sleep carries him back to the bed until morning. He wakes with memories of ordinary dreams, and he actually feels reasonably well rested. He remembers making a decision before sleep took him, so he goes to find Moiraine, and tells her the whole dream.

She says he's not in any danger of wielding the One Power, but he does have reason to be frightened. But so little has been documented about wolf dreamers. Perrin says that at the very least Lanfear is free, and asks what Mo intends to do. Mo responds that she intends to go to Illian, then to Tear, and hope to reach it before Rand.

He asks if she'll heal the burn, and she says no, it's not serious, and it'll remind him to be careful.

He started for the door, then stopped. “There is one thing. If you knew a woman’s name was Zarine, would you think it meant anything about her?” “Why under the Light do you ask this question?” “A girl,” he said awkwardly. “A young woman. I met her last night. She’s one of the other passengers.” He would let her discover for herself that Zarine knew she was Aes Sedai. And seemed to think following them would lead her to the Horn of Valere. He would not keep back anything he thought was important, but if Moiraine could be secretive, so could he. “Zarine. It is a Saldaean name. No woman would name her daughter that unless she expected her to be a great beauty. And a heartbreaker. One to lie on cushions in palaces, surrounded by servants and suitors.” She smiled, briefly but with great amusement. “Perhaps you have another reason to be careful, Perrin, if there is a Zarine as a passenger with us.” “I intend to be careful,” he told her. At least he knew why Zarine did not like her name. Hardly fitting for a Hunter of the Horn. As long as she doesn’t call herself “falcon.”(4) When he went on deck, Lan was there, looking over Mandarb. And Zarine was sitting on a coil of rope near the railing, sharpening one of her knives and watching him. The big, triangular sails were set and taut, and the Snow Goose flew downriver. Zarine’s eyes followed Perrin as he walked by her to stand in the bow. The water curled to either side of the prow like earth turning around a good plow. He wondered about dreams and Aielmen, Min’s viewings and falcons. His chest hurt. Life had never been as tangled as this.

PERSPECTIVE: Rand, gasping out of sleep. His “old wound from Falme” hurts.(5) He realizes that must really have been Perrin, and agonizes that he almost killed his friend.

He hears horses, a dozen or so, and waits. Most of them are rough-looking men in armour, but one is an older woman in plain wool with a silver pin. Perhaps a merchant. She says she's used this campsite many times, may she join him? Sure, he says, but a breath behind that he's cut off her head, and is fighting the rest of them, turning his melted-off heron-marked blade into a sword of pure fire with the Power.

He mounts the woman's horse, then uses the Power to make the corpses kneel before him. This is how it's supposed to be for the Dragon, isn't it? He notes that he thought there were only ten men, but an extra one with no armour is kneeling in the line, a dagger still gripped in his hand.(6)

Rand lets them go, and rides the horse as fast as it will carry him. He means to get to Tear by the fastest and straightest way, if he has to steal and kill horses the whole way there. He will put an end to it there.(7)

(3) If you hadn't guessed by now, if I hadn't confirmed by now, would the way Lanfear talks to him seem suspicious to you? If she serves the Dark One, and this is the Dark One, she's showing an awful lot of sass right to his face. But of course, he's not. Poor Perrin just can't quite understand that. (4) Methinks the boy doth protest too much. Perrin, just ask her to step on you and be done with the agony and the self-denial, amirite? (5) OLD WOUND, kid it's been 5 months, not 50 years. (6) A Gray Man. Does this change your opinion of whether Rand overreacted in killing them all? (7) Well, I'm sorry to tell you, there are eleven more books in the series. I don't think anyone's putting much of an end to anything in this book.
