Mikado had to fight the smile on his face as he clutched his dying best friend.  He fought everything inside of him that wanted to laugh. This was all some great drama. The sort they played on American TV shows or on Greek stages. 

           Masaomi's loyalty was hysterical. 

              Was he in denial over the source of his death? Or did it not matter? 

"You're not going to die, Kida-kun..." His voice sounded strained, a tear rolling down his cheek. "You're not. The ambulance is going to come and you're going to be fine." 

He tightened his grip. 

      True, he was the reason Masaomi was going to die not quite alone in an alley. That didn't mean Masaomi had to die in the arms of his killer. He could die in the arms of his best friend, the way it was always meant to happen. 

Of course he would always remember his best friend. 

     His favorite plaything. 

         It was to bad he had to die.

Character in general: Kida. Oh Kida. I wouldn’t love him so much if it wasn’t for his lovely personality and the fact he’s fun to interact with…How they play them: Good, I like your own interpretation of Kida. You concentrate more in his violent, wild side, and that’s one of my favorite parts about him.The Mun: OK SO we haven’t talked so much until here but I’m liking to see you on the chat and being able to communicate with you. You’re pretty neat and cute, so….

          Pathetic.

                    Mikado pulled out his phone checking the messages in silence.

You can never go back to the way things were once they were destroyed. But Maybe Masaomi was truly willing to live in a delusion to keep from being alone for the rest of his life.

"Kida-kun..."

          He didn't know what to say. Hearing Masaomi almost beg for him to stay was something more than unexpected. "Not long ago you were telling me to leave..." He looked back down at his phone before tucking it into his pocket.  

"Nothing's changed. I'm going to do this."

If Masaomi wanted to stay that was his choice. Mikado wouldn't force him to leave, and wouldn't leave himself. He would simply keep walking the path he had chosen.

     Pouring droplets drenched those cheeks, apparent for the sudden shift in moods. At      first, things were progressing well with the multiple murders circulating in this district.      Unfortunately a few of the officers were complaining over the assistance of a 'child's      cooperation' with the case. It seems she wasn't capable of handling the circumstances      despite her evidence drawing them near to possible suspects. Regardless, it was natural      to receive this treatment. Nothing the sleuth wasn't capable of handling -- or so she      wished to believe. Thank goodness the rain hid those faint tears trailing to her cheeks.      But no one could tell the difference. Just her luck . . . A man with blonde locks took      sight of the detective.
