You weren't supposed to be here.

You had told yourself that. Over and over.

But the moment you saw the concert clips flooding your Instagram feed—Billie, dressed in that infuriatingly hot, tailored masculine outfit, sleeves rolled up, jaw sharp enough to cut glass, sweat glistening under the stage lights—You blacked out and somehow ended up in the crowd.

And now you were. Front row. Staring.

The bass thrummed against your ribs, the crowd moving like one frenzied organism, but you felt frozen in place, watching Billie shred her guitar like she was possessed. Billie’s head tilted back, lips parted in a blissful smirk, fingers moving effortlessly across the strings, veins on her arms flexing with every note. Her voice was gravel and honey, raw and deep, dripping with the kind of effortless sex appeal that made the entire audience scream for more.

Your breath hitched when Billie ran a hand through her damp hair, pushing it back in that cocky, careless way that sent the crowd into another wave of hysteria.

Oh, fuck.

A new, unfamiliar heat coiled in your stomach—burning, twisting, making you grip the barricade in front of you so hard your knuckles turned white. This was different. This wasn’t just Billie being hot. This was Billie commanding a stage, owning the chaos, making thousands of people desperate for her, even making you desperate for her.

And then, as if sensing you, Billie’s eyes flicked downward.

Straight at you.

You stopped breathing.

That smirk. That fucking smirk. Slow, knowing, arrogant. Billie had seen you. Had seen what this was doing to you. And then—just to kill you completely—Billie ran her tongue along her bottom lip, never breaking eye contact.

You lost it.

You turned sharply, pushing through the crowd, your pulse hammering in your ears, fingers shaking as you fumbled for her phone. You needed air. Needed space. Needed to—

No, you needed Billie.

You didn’t even hesitate before pulling up your messages and typing with shaking hands:

You: I hate you. You fucking know what you're doing.

You: Where are you after the show?

You didn't wait for a reply before storming off towards backstage access. You knew exactly where this was going.
