Popplio: Popplio's shiny is pretty consistent with the way the rest of the line is handled, and anyone who's been reading these reviews knows I love consistency. I like how the the ruff goes from a turquoise to a higher-contrast peach color, which compliments the pink of the nose nicely.

However, I will say that the body color is a bit too similar to the original, even if the hue has shifted to be less cyan. I would've liked to see the color here shifted more towards purple, which would've still been consistent with Brionne but been more noticeable relative to the original palette. Something like this:

Still, not bad looking overall, even if it's not that noticeable.

Brionne: Brionne has a really really nice shiny. The colors still look very natural, but it's easy to tell the difference between this and the original due to the main aquamarine color switching to a purple and all the lighter cyan accents switching to peach (making it consistent with Popplio). The purple, white, and peach go great together, and I like how the peach compliments the pre-existing pink nose and eye color. Honestly, I like this one better than the original.

Primarina: Keeping up with consistency, Primarina uses the same blue shift Popplio does. That particular color is still a bit low-contrast and I still would've liked to see it purple, but unlike Popplio it's not as big as an issue as the rest of the palette changes more drastically.

Once again, the cyan accents switch to peach to compliment the pinks, but it does something unexpected with the hair—instead of keeping it the same color as Brionne like the original, it instead switches to a blonde/yellow. This works really well; I like how it de-emphasizes the hair in favor of the tail, and the warm yellow compliments the extra peach accents and works well with the blue. Once again, I find myself liking this one better than the original.

It's my birthday once again, and now I'm 22! I was in an artsy mood as my birthday approached and so I decided to make myself a little present. In 2020, Popplio was the first ever Pokemon I had to my name, and I named her Jojo. This is the Pokemon that made me love the lil guys. This is the Pokemon that made me a trainer. There is no Pokemon more precious to me than Primarina.

So what better Pokemon to shiny hunt in SV with the Destiny mark? It took a while, but she came home. Her name is Jolie, and she is my partner.

On a side note, surely I will figure out Adulting 101 someday, right? 😅

Soothleo, the Fur Seal Pokémon

This Pokémon moves swiftly through the water, able to fit through small spaces using a spinning maneuver.

Soothleo is naturally curious and likes to listen in on conversations between other Pokémon, as well as humans. It can learn to mimic the sounds humans make to better communicate with them.

Soothseonne is able to see glimpses of the future, but it is never sure when the events it sees will come to pass. It likes to be prepared for these eventualities. Attempts to prevent it won’t stop the event from coming true.

Upon evolving, the visions it sees of the future will startle Soothseonne at first. It will need companionship for reassurance until it learns to control its future sight.
