i do want to talk at length about how closely glitch’s behavior aligns with borderline personality disorder at some point ...
#she's not human and her experiences / traumas are obviously very extreme due to their fictitious nature#but at the same time it does manifest very similarly to bpd#her behaviours align very closely with what would be expected of individuals with that personality disorder#i've done a lot of research into how it differs from bipolar disorder and how childhood trauma tends to form it and how it affects the brain#so i'm very much hoping not to be insensitive about it!#as far as i'm aware a 12 year old girl is definitely capable of having this personality disorder#especially one who's heavily traumatised#her relationships and her manic highs slash depressive lows and narcissism and self deprecation...#her tendency to split on people over the littlest thing... she does have intense bouts of black and white thinking#her friendships form very quickly and become intense very quickly and she definitely tends to put people on pedestals#and favours a certain person more than others almost all the time before they do something to upset her#i think she genuinely has a personality disorder. like she's not human but if she WAS that's how it'd be described
