#bg3 #tiefling #tw blood #c: Viivi #so I redid my bg3 character because I wasn't feeling durge that much. So now my sibling does durge and I regular tav Viivi #(changed her to tiefling for funs)#at least I meant to do regular tav but uhhhhh things have gone very unfortunately very fast #anyway. Viivi is an artist; she does painting sculpting poetry and some prose. Experimenting with this and that #unfortunately she is deaf which made making connections a bit hard in the fine arts world #fortunately she has a patreon with one very generous patron (she's fey warlock)✨ who has bestowed some gifts of charms for her #which have opened doors of many art galleries #She's not a fighter so although she is confident in her own lane she is also very aware of her mortality #so she avoided any fights she could #which might have saved her but also got her into the mess of her lifetime #you see she couldn't fight the entire goblin camp and their leaders. She would've just not survived that. So she convinced them #that she is a True Soul. She is good at convincing people. It worked. They thought she is on their side. Good #Halsin also though Viivi was on their side. Halsin attacked Viivi's party. Now Halsin is dead.#So Viivi and her group were still alone deep within enemy fort. Viivi made new plans. She frees the prisoner who says he will warn the grov #Good thinks Viivi now they know to flee. I will go to Minthara and tell we got the information from prisoner of the grove location #she will trust us and we walk off #when we get back to grove they have not fled and Minthara is at the gates #Minthara wants Viivi to sound the horn. Zevlor wants Viivi to sound the horn. Viivi asks Zevlor to please tell this plan in detail.#Zevlor says just blow the horn already. Viivi does that. Minthara thanks Viivi for leaving the gate open as planned #Zevlor does not thank Viivi for that. Viivi is confused as she did not leave the gate open. (for real the damn gate was left open)#So I did a Massacre.#now Karlach is gone Wyll is dead. Lae'zel is also dead #but apparently Minthara is ready to be very loving and sincere with Viivi. The most helpful person she has met in very long time.#Viivi might love her #so that is how she's doing.

#putting more lore about her in the tags #because I want to rant but I don't want to be annoying #ever since I made her I've just been doing runs with her because I'm attached 😭#and also I think the storyline for the durge is so cool!!!!#so basically her backstory is like #and don't. laugh... I'm not a dnd fan so I'm not sure what's accurate....#but I wanted her to be like the white dragonborn durge #so she's not actually a tiefling but meant to be like half human half white dragon #and she's a dragon sorcerer or whatever #so unlike a tiefling she is really. quite cold to the touch #she is chaotic neutral and ends up being redeemed #but once the new patch comes out perhaps I'll do a proper evil run #she has a sort of sorcerer / wizard rivalry with gale but she only argues with him to hide her crush lol #their shipname would be moonweave.... if you.... care....#oh also I headcanoned that she forgot her name after the nautiloid #she had a name given to her by her foster parents although she never really used it #so moon was the name given to her by her companions #because big. moon shaped eyes #gale reads to her and occasionally casts sleep spells to help her sleep through nightmares....#I like almost all the endings with gale so I imagine that they settle in waterdeep for a bit but also pick up adventuring again later on #or god gale cures her and makes her his chosen #thank u for listening. and now I will disappear into the depths and take my little brainrot with me

#bg3 spoilers #thoughts about media #this is so sweet. corydalis would cherish this present to the end of his days.#so nice of mirkon to say we killed the harpies in one blow!#we did not.#I couldn't long rest and reset corydalis' empty spell slots because the scene was glitching and the kid would spawn dead.#so i had to forgo the long rest and just fight them.#and then astarion and karlach kept getting lured by the harpy song!#lae'zel was the only one getting anything done!#and she sure as fuck didn't even want to be there!! i brought her to try and boost her approval...#but it's like. stuck at 6 or something equally abysmal because I keep pissing her off by being too nice.#I didn't realise there was an interaction between her and a tiefling in the grove in my first playthrough...she hated me more after that.#GIRL I'M NOT GOING TO MAKE ZORRU BOW FOR YOU!#like corydalis is a tiefling himself! be real lae'zel!#being nice to zorru got us the information we needed anyways...#astarion for whatever reason didn't complain even though i'm pretty sure being too nice in this interaction is supposed to annoy him.#i'm literally LOOKING for interactions to gain his disapproval!!!!!#BECAUSE HIS APPROVAL WON'T GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!#please my dearest I would like to NOT trigger your first romance scene too soon.#honestly if i could romance him without suffering through that again I would be thrilled. but it is not possible.#REALISTICALLY corydalis wouldn't even fall for his lying. he's ten times better a liar than astarion could ever hope to be.#and he's also extremely kind and caring! there's noooo WAY he'd let astarion's evasiveness slide unmentioned.#BUT ALAS. the game only permits you to avoid this TORMENTUOUS experience if you are playing karlach.#goblin camp is next though. imagined companion dialogue for my durge, Izar! more under the cut because i think about her 85% of the time these days.

Izar is my second durge, and knowing the backstory, I wanted her to be someone who you could learn has the leadership and organisational skills to spearhead a doomsday cult and world-ending multi-god conspiracy and be like... yeah. okay, that tracks. so while her low approval is very impatient, and you get the sense she isn't going to listen to anything you say, medium is when she starts to see you as an ally and possible partner in getting through this mess, but only at high approval does she see you as the leader, and someone whose advice she'll trust.

similarly, when romancing her, she starts out flirtatious but fairly distancing, but after she tries to uh kill you in act 2, your belief in her makes her strangely optimistic-- until she learns about her past in act 3. the more she learns, the more she fears her drive and ambition are inextricably linked to the urge. she's struggling, and tries to keep the focus on you to stop herself from spiraling into despair.

if she accepts bhaal and isn't being romanced, she leaves the party and goes to join gortash, and either has to be killed when you kill him, or is also killed by the brain when you all go to try and control it. if she's being romanced, she tries to kill her partner as a final offering and has to be killed.

if she rejects bhaal, she's adrift but happy: mourning her lost memories and capacity, but ready to start anew and to be as open and trusting with her partner as she can be.
