main takeaway from certain fan reactions to the finale is this:

the final scene with ankarna was so meaningful to the bad kids' arcs and how they made peace with being wronged by people they loved, and if all you can focus on is that the rat grinders didn't get much screentime, then you don't love dimension20 and you don't love this world: you want to be playing your own hs themed dnd campaign and you're mad the oc versions of the rat grinders you made up in your head acted ooc. these are not your characters and this is not their story.

I have to say I find the "what if predathos is just a mindless hungry being/just a baby" argument utterly irrelevant to any discussion. Like RIP to you, literally, but if a mindless entity or an animal capable of killing me were to try to kill me, while I would hopefully make an attempt to de-escalate or capture it or safely escape without doing any harm, I would also in fact not feel bad if I had to kill it to save my life. It's interesting on an academic level to consider whether Predathos could have been reasoned with or stopped in other ways, but I do not judge someone who has watched their family disappear into its jaws for saying "I'm not waiting to find out"

I'm live and let live for the most part despite appearances, but I have to say the damage fucking,,,, the slytherin skittles as a concept has done to other peripheral characters in the marauders era? Unmatched. Is it bad that y'all are making up headcanons about these characters? Admittedly no, you can do whatever you want forever just like me. HOWEVER Is it really annoying that Every Single Character has to have a knock off marauders friend group now? Yes. Does it annoy me that characters who could be so much more complex than they are keep getting used as fodder for relationship drama with fucking Jegulus of all ships? Undoubtedly. Does it piss me off to see characters, particularly female characters, w being used to prop up death eaters who frankly are not half as interesting? Very Much So.

there's so much cool shit happening in my life these days, this Saturday after going to the local farmers market, I randomly ran into 4 really cool and pretty trans women and got to add them on discord (and I think I'm mutuals on here with a portion of them now :3) and then today, a cool person who sometimes comes by the deli i work at told me about a burlesque show they'll be a part of (and possibly invited me to come?). and also that they wrote an outlaw ballad related to an emu that escaped from a local emu farm (I didn't know farms for those even existed?) and that they'd send me a link to the song at some point? also, I've got plans to go to a kink convention in January, maybe? life is cool :3
