We didn’t really care for Izutsumi

Woks of Life Spicy Beef Salad with garlic fried rice, sautéed sweet peppers, and fresh cherry tomatoes
#didn’t have time to partially freeze the steak so it wasn’t sliced as thin as the recipe but still great#loved the velveting + blanch method. usually i need some crisp in my meat but it was sooo tender i really liked it#doubled the marinade and sauce and served with a friend’s homemade chili oil#definitely a do again#food

it's never good for me to start talking about food. that being said, there's NO reason or excuse for british food to be undercooked and unseasoned 🗣️🗣️❗❗❗ LEAVE those roast spuds in the oven longer. and season them. well.

For a political campaign run off liking someone for "Saying what they mean", they get really bent out of shape when you give them your honest opinion of their candidate.

I may have gone slightly crazy at the grocery store yesterday.
#after a month and a half of relying on my mother for scraps#I fell into a hedonistic frenzy and bought steak and liquor and ice cream#cooked one steak in butter last night and served it in horseradish sauce#now I’ve got the other marinating in lemon juice and garlic and cumin and paprika#I’m going to make tacos with it#it feels good to be actually COOKING again#instead of just microwaving frozen burritos#because that’s all I could afford 😅

Just ate the juiciest softest most tender steak I have ever eaten in my life
#it was served with a hot stone plate you could roast it on the way you liked! I have never seen anything like that before!#the fries had parmesan on them! which was a surprise and not great!#I prefer my steaks medium well to well done so it's good mine was sooo tender and juicy it was not chewy or tough at all
