i wish we had better/more frequent and varied ace representation in media
#srsly why is it always like. okay this guy is SO EVIL and PSYCHOPATHIC he’s INCAPABLE OF MEANINGINFUL RELATIONSHIPS - here’s your rep!!#or ‘look at this supersmart nerdy guy he is all intellectual and has no need for physical relationships!!#and if there is any rep they are always sex-repulsed aroaces.#where are the romantic aces? the sex-positive aces?? the aces with a crippling fear that they’ll be forever alone because who would want -#to be in a relationship with no sex?#the aces in poly relationships. the aces that are exclusive with an allo partner#seriously why is there so little media depicting aces it’s truly bizarre to me#and the tendency for fandom to go [oh this character must be gay] when they don’t show attraction to the opposite sex - even when#- they haven’t shown attraction to the same sex either. Like maybe they’re just not interested in relationships?
