I’m in a backstory kinda mood rn

Based on @joyerisjoy 's Adina, I wrote this scene of her after the breakup with Lee.

Shattered

No words. She can't speak. Why the hell were her eyes getting misty? She retreated back into her room to hide, alone.

Her footsteps echoed through the now empty palace. Adina's wings drooped behind her, something weighing them down. She'd never felt like this before. So empty... So dead inside

Was this sadness? No. It couldn't be. She's Adina, one of the greatest seraphim in existance. There was no room for sadness. The seraph fixed her posture and gracefully finished the rest of the way to her room.

She longed to slam the door and curse Lee, but something inside of her just wouldn't let her. She should hate the mantis! But then why was she craving the touch of Lee's fingers on her skin?

Something cold ran down the seraph's face. Assuming it was a prank, potentially by a few apprentices, she looked around to find the source of whatever it was.

"Come out, appre-" She pauses. Adina's voice was hoarse and shaking. She looked down at her hands, which were just as shaky as her voice. One of them balled into a fist, while the other wiped the cold liquid off of her face.

Curiously, she licked the liquid off of her finger and swallowed it. Salty. That was the only way she could describe it. A shiver ran down her spine. Adina shrugged off the uneasy feeling and started walking to her bed.

She halted as she spotted movement from the corner of her eye. The female slowly and cautiously progressed closer, before realising it was her old mirror. A sigh of relief escaped her.

It was simply the old mirror from her childhood. Nothing to worry about. She looked herself over through the mirror. It was then she noticed the red around her eyes. Was she... Crying? She stared at the mirror, frozen in place.

A young, sobbing Adina stared back. Tear streamed down her face. "It's not fair... There's nothing wrong with me. I'm not demonic." The girl cried softly. "I'll prove them. I'll be the best seraph they'll ever see."

Adina stumbled backwards, her eyes wide. For as long as she could remember, that day was the only one she cried. And now Lee had done it. She managed to make her cry again.

The mantis might not have realised the effect her actions would have on Adina. The tears unlocked painful memories she had vowed to never remember. In a fit of anger towards Lee, the seraph took the mirror and shattered it on the floor, before sinking down in the shards, now finally letting the emotions flow out.

Lutual Statement

After a pretty rough week with a lot going on, the Lutuals have decided that moving forward we will be a bit more selective regarding certain things. We love sharing our characters and developing new and interesting storylines for people to read and interact with and want to continue doing so while protecting ourselves and our mental health.

Hate Speech - the Lutualverse is a fun spinoff of the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss settings and isn’t the place for social or political commentary. We’re just here for the various shades of queer relationships; if you’re not, kindly move along.

Spam - many Lutuals utilize their queues for asks and submissions; if you sent it once, we probably got it and will answer asks and post submissions in due time. Sending more than once will just confuse Tumblr and annoy the mod.

To better form a cohesive, consistent universe with multiple storylines, the current Lutualverse is a set roster you can find here, all of whom have been vetted as 18+. As the blogs, storylines, and shows are 18+, it is recommended that minors do not interact.

Heaven's blossom

Perach is the youngest among the seraphim. She was created in 2000 as a symbol of the new hope blossoming in Heaven. Perach's task from birth is to inspire winners and give them new meaning in life.

Adina, wanting to get closer to Sera, decided to take advantage of the little girl’s trust. However, Perach was smart enough (or Adina wasn't careful enough) to recognize the deception.

She was hurt by the betrayal of someone she considered a sister. So her pain and hatred grew on her head a parasitic flower that poisons herself and those around her. The pollen of this flower is hypnotizing.

Perach, being gifted from birth, easily achieved the title of full-fledged seraph, surpassing Adina in power and influence.

However, over time, the flower on her head continued to grow, as did her hatred of the seraph. Everything she does now, besides her main job, is ruining Adina’s life in the name of revenge for betraying her trust.

Canine sat in the tree, stalking their prey. The young seraph walked beneath the tree holding a little mouse by the tail. Canine leaned forward and wiggled their butt, curling their wings forward before…

[Lee woke up in the middle of the night in Adina's embrace and decided it was the best time to visit her new master. She carefully wriggled out of the seraph's arms, replacing herself with a pillow, and left the room to go explore the palace.]

Leviathan, having awoken from another nightmare, attempts to soothe themselves with a walk through the halls of the palace. Talking to themselves, they trying to work through the mixture of fear, anger and self-loathing.

They stop in one of the long hallways filled with paintings and watch as the paintings move slightly, swirling and twisting into distorted images. The worst kind of hell for Leviathan has always been the inescapable hell of their own mind and the night seems to fuel their personal hellfire.

Ava spoke out loud to himself as he walked through the alleyways. He remembered Sarai's schedule and knew that they would be picking up coffee for Sera at this moment.

Okay, not really. Lots of punching was involved...and Sarai ain't like that.

He worried if Sarai would forgive him after he blew them off. But she had to try. She told Sadie she would.

Sí Ava, ya can do it. Ava El Carbón doesn't run from a fight! -🚬

He was about to walk to Sarai, until he saw the familiar figure of an unfriendly Seraph bump into her.

Uh oh. Looks like they were arguing now. Better hide before she gets caught in the middle, and then she'd apologize.

He hid behind some trash cans and watched Sarai and the other Seraph talk.

Even as a guardian angel, Sarai was still not exempt from picking up coffee for the Council. She ordered the coffees, remembering the god-awful tastes of her superiors, and walked out the door.

She was distracted by a lot of things. One, she still couldn't stop thinking about Milan, who was now probably still with Adina.

((She wants to be with her? I shouldn't be so surprised. I could never compare. I'm not much.))

Second, Lana was bugging her - and not just by ignoring her helpful advice. She reminded her so much of someone - Ava, someone who she had also lost forever.

Lost in her thoughts, she bumps into a tall figure, whom she spills all her coffee over.

Sarai sighs as she leaves the office and carefully looks over the profile. It seems she was being assigned to a mortal soul on Earth. At least this would give her an excuse to be out of Heaven - there was far too much going on at the moment.

As she walks through the hallways, she spots the familiar figure of…Adina. Remembering the order, she backs off into a nearby hallway as her rival passes by. She watches her enter Sera’s office. What was going on?

Sarai was having a hard time. The disaster at the party on the Promenade was still fresh in her mind, and she could only dread what Sera had to tell her now.

*Luckily for Sarai, she has no idea of what happened to her yesterday. All Sera's attention was focused on Emily and Shamira Ass.*

She's a Seraph like her creation Sera & Emilie

She's a mother to all of the nuns who arrived in heaven and mother to all angels.

Her voices would sound like Mystic flour Cookie she have a same vibes like Mystic Flour Cookie.

But behind the facade kind smile is a sinister face, She's a leader of the powers that murdered all sinners for the good and she enjoys seeing sinners suffering every rings they go.

Wrath,Gluttony,Greed,Sloth,Envy and Lust every different places they go they are always targeted towards the sinners.

Adina made traumatic memories for the sinners past using her stole vestments wraps around them like the zoophobia version also she's the one who's own the court but her daughter takes over for her when she's busy

She's soft spoken but manipulative at the same time since she never forgives any sinners for their actions.

Exceedingly corrupted, Adina is an angel who has let her own twisted ideals of sin and evil corrupt her judgement, and cloud her mind to the point of madness. She hides her merciless and demented intentions behind a calm gentle smile. She believes that all sinful beings must be “purged” in order to be cleansed of their tainted souls. She basically wants to kill all she deems sinful, which in her mind is nearly everyone.

[Lee decided she needed a little distraction after thinking about her days on Earth, so she led Adina towards the first street food stand they came across. It turned out to be a taco stand. They walked in silence and still held hands, intertwining their fingers, Lee just enjoyed the moment with a big smile on her face.]

[As she led Adina to the stand, she noticed someone was already standing in line in front of them. Lee smiled even wider, realizing it was Ass with her girlfriend.]

Yo! I see someone here is also havin' a date with a seraph!

[Lee glanced at Adina, laughing awkwardly.]

Uuh, day. I meant day!

[She turned back to Emily and Ass, waving at them.]

Adina tensed at the contact. She had the longest fixation on Sarai, but none of that seemed to matter anymore. Despite herself, she had changed, and it was all because of Lee.

“Please shift back to yourself. Your original self. I want to see you. Not them.”

Her tone was dejected and awkward, as she was struggling to be sincere though she wanted to be.

Adina wandered into the beach hut to escape the crowds. It was hard enough to pretend to organize the event, never mind the terrible sex she had with Milan or the fact she’s never see her beloved spy ho again. She just needed to hide from the crowds (she was certain Perach and Emily was among them) for a while, until she could muster up the energy to smile again.

And then she saw her, in that striped 1910s swimsuit.

“Lee?”

[She jumped in surprise and her appearance changed several times - Adam, Vienna, Sadie, then her usual form again. Lee laughed nervously and immediately waved at Adina.]

[Haha. Ha. Ha... HOLY SHIT DIS IS SO AWKWARD.]

[She became even more nervous when she saw that Adina didn't have her usual smile on her face.]

Arion bit her lip, going through her hair with her hand and stood up. This is going to be an easy lay. Just a cute little serap- OH DAMN. She's actually kinda hot.

Oh, that pathetic lot? Fuck, yeah, let's bruise some egos!

Let's start at the figurative bottom. @ask-emily-em-emmy is kinda tied for the bottom of the seraphim hierarchy. She has a position, yeah, but it's one of service, beneath all the Winners, at their whims and mercy. Except, she's smart and charming and she's got the people of Heaven on her side in a way they'd never be on Sera's. I respect that she's aware of the power she wields, even if it takes a lot of pushing to get her to that point. She's kinda like Rosie and Cere, in an Overlord sense; she'll find a way to get what she wants, and everyone's gonna be willing to bend over backwards for her! 9/10, probably the best of the lot, if she ever decides to throw her weight around.

Now, the literal bottom, that's @seraphim-sarai. Stuck as an apprentice. Real shame, too; they're probably the most cutthroat in a way none of the others are. They're willing to hurt the ones they love to achieve their goals; that sort of blind Pride and ambition is something I saw a lot in... well, Val. Difference being: Sarai feels guilt. Probably the one thing that'll keep them from turning out like Val, too. Sometimes, it just takes a crumb of self-awareness. 8.5/10. Not gonna lie, though, I've been watching back some of their tapes. Bitch is living a telenovela and I am invested. Kinda rooting for Milan; I'm a sucker for the messy bitches.

There's a ton of seraphs, but which ones are interesting... ah! @seraphim-grace! Here's a bitch I wouldn't mind killing myself. While Sarai reminds me of the side of Val that made him a good Overlord, Grace reminds me of... everything else. Frankly, how anyone can find Heaven appealing knowing that she's there? Beyond fuckin' me! I will admit she's given me some interesting ideas for some horror and torture flicks we've got in production, so at least I'll profit off her. It'll pay for the therapy I'll need seeing what a chick Val is like. 2/10, how the fuck has she not been stripped down for parts?

And since the rotten apple doesn't fall far from the poisoned tree... @seraphim-adina. Honestly? I like this one. She's a lot like me: calculated, cruel, excellent at her chosen tasks... and a hopeless sap. Lucky for her, she didn't fall for a red radio bastard or get entranced by a... well... Lee was probably on the road to becoming something like Val, but steered onto a different course. 5/10. She's got a way to go before she can wield any true amount of power but she at least isn't afraid of what little power she does have.

Fuck, there's too many of these self important angels... wait, isn't there another little one... @seraphim-perach! Right, kinda peek in on her every now and again. Not much catches my eye; I think we've yet to see the juicy stuff from this one. But, for the scheming and excellent acting, I give her a solid 7/10. I see big things ahead for this one.

I'm capping it here with the top of the heap- the heap of shit. @ask-sera is the ringleader of this circus and the other seraphim's shortcomings are a direct reflect of her that she's too blind to see. Something I can admire about Charlie is that she doesn't, for a moment, misunderstand where the fuck she is. Sera's head is shoved so far up her own ass, I'm surprised she hasn't collapsed into a singularity. For someone so obsessed with purity and holiness, she's awfully blind to the dark filth surrounding her. But that's what Pride, Sloth, Wrath, and Greed can do to a person, when they refuse to acknowledge the Sin in their own heart. -10/10. If she was half the seraphim she thinks she is, she wouldn't be running a palace that harbors abusers.
