5.) What made you start your blog? Actually, this blog wasn't originally geared toward Red Dead content. Gasp! I know, it's shocking! LMAO. I created this little profile in my 4th year at college in the Fine Arts program I was in! We were tasked to post and talk about our artwork. Eventually, the blog went dead and I switched over my content once I really got into the Red Dead fandom. I didn't realize how many kind souls were on here 💕 Made me fall in love with the platform all over again!

15.) What do you think of when you hear the word "Home"? That's such an interesting question! Home is the mountains turning green with the first vestiges of spring. Little flowers abloom along the ditch-lines carved out along the back roads leading to someplace peaceful. Home is the feeling the clover beneath your bare feet as you catch your first junebug of the season. Drinking a cold glass of water as you shuck green beans with your Mamaw. The smell of burning jeans as your Papaw smokes out the beehives to gather the sweetest wild honey you'd ever taste. Home is getting together on Fridays to eat good food, talk with good company, and listening to bluegrass. Getting soaked in the creak catching crawdaddies with your cousins and getting that first sip of moonshine cough syrup that nearly knocks you on your ass when you get sick from being out in that water too long! But I think most of all, home is where the promise of peace is whispered through the trees and tasted in the labors of love from your family. 💕

20.) Favorite thing about the night? I love that time right after the sunrise sets, casting a faint hue of blue over the land before the moon rises and darkness settles in. Where I live, we have very little light pollution, so the stars are so bright and beautiful when it ain't cloudy. But I think my most favorite aspect of the night is hearing the swell of crickets chirping in a melodic symphony with the hoot-owls up in the trees.

Dude, I am so sorry! All of that was directed at the OP, not you, but I forgot to reblog from them instead of you! D: I'm so sorry for attacking you like that! I swear I didn't mean to direct all that at you, it must have been very intimidating to be faced with that wall of text, I'm so sorry.

And also, you're not wrong at all. This issue is basically all meaningless hypotheticals, we can all debate ourselves in circles until the end of the world, but we're not going to come to an answer with the information we have. There’s nothing we can use these arguments for, the only action worth taking is waiting to see what happens so we can get more information. Until then, there is no right answer!

And the OP was right, the fixation a lot of boobers have is weird and creepy and inappropriate in some cases. OP was just missing context that explained it, if not excused it. And I was very excited to give context haha

Anyway, I find the way the fandom is navigating this issue, and the social politics of it all, to be fascinating, so I love to discuss it. And I am way too invested in it and get way too anxious about it because I have no life. All that is to say, I actually really enjoy theorising and discussing this stuff, so that long reblog wasn't me being angry, it was me trying to figure out how I felt about it all myself, and the mechanisms behind what was going on. So again, I am so, so sorry for seeming threatening or like I was attacking you. You're not wrong! You don't have to take it back if you agree with OP, there's no right answer and I can handle people disagreeing with me KEKW. Also, I enjoy the contents of your blog a lot and have been enjoying vibing with you thus far. You are a poggers mutal :3

lmao yeah i get what your saying!! i have about 2 people irl i rant to and its a lot when you cant find people to talk to it about. you actually did change my mind on the subject and im totally chill with it. it is really interesting when you think about how things are so complicated over this one little thing and its crazy how different people interpret things!! but yeah, no harm done, im cool with people correcting me, having a different opinion, or changing my opinion. you're really cool and sweet and i hope you know that!

Name 3 things that make you happy. - Unexpected acts of kindness, like when someone stops you just to tell you that you look nice or when someone offers to carry something for you when you're secretly needing that help the most. - Finding ways to connect with your friends even if you're states or oceans apart. Recently, a friend of mine and I have been using the "start a jam" on Spotify and have been connecting over our music tastes in a shared session, despite being states apart! - Discovering a new favorite snack or rediscovering one that you loved as a child. Mine's currently those tins of Christmas Popcorn you can buy at Walmart LMAOOO! Something so good about gettin' that sweet and salty combo!

24.) What's one thing that you're proud of yourself for? That's such a good question! I think I'm most proud of continuing to wake up everyday in spite of the mental and physical struggle. It's difficult most days, but we're all here in spite of it all and that's something we should all be proud of :) 💕 Life can be hard, but it can be kinda cool when you can meet some new people once in a while!

I haven’t been on tumblr for quite as long as a lot of people but over several years I’ve noticed this interesting gradual sorta,, shift in the general culture? that it went from this mostly depressed, nihilistic outlook where people would regularly joke about hating themselves and being hopeless and depressed, to a wave of vehemence of “STOP hating everything actually the world is Good and you deserve love!!!” type posts, to now, where those aggressive ‘PSAs’ have faded away and instead I regularly see people romanticizing simple things like stars and hot tea and rainy mornings, and waxing poetic about their friends, and just trying to put love out there. and I don’t know exactly what that means (someone who knows more than me could probably say something smart about generational expression and trauma or popular perception of mental health and whatnot), but I do know that it makes my heart very full to see people learn to love the world and themselves by extension, and a whole userbase adopting healthier coping mechanisms, and therefore teaching the younger users to do so as well. I might just be following different people, but I really do think we’ve grown. everyone has grown. five years ago it wasn’t unusual for the next post on my dash to be a scathing commentary on why nothing matters or an anon ripping into someone they barely knew or someone complaining about how pathetic their interests are. now I have mutuals who get excited and spam reblog art of cows and friends I see tagging each other in pictures of frogs and strangers writing paragraphs about how much I matter. it makes me happy. idk. just an observation I wanted to make. I think people are good and everyone’s just trying their best at the end of the day
