It still needs a bit of perfecting, but I believe I have found my curly girl wash and style! This is so much easier than blowdrying it straight with a paddle brush. I don't have the time or energy for hair dryers in general anymore. I am low porosity with fine hair and medium density. Not sure about my hair type- looks like mixed type 2s with an underneath of 3a. Shampoo and conditioner - Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Leave in- homemade with water, Devacurl Light Defining gel, Giovanni 2chic Sleek conditioner. Curlypenny has a video on this (DIY Gel Spray for Frizz Free Curls) Stylers: Kinky Curly Curl Custard, Devacurl Volumizing Foam, Devacurl Light Defining gel, Hair RePear towel. My hair isn't perfect but it's a far cry from what it used to be. I'm so happy with the results so far! (Yes, my hair is dyed which isn't CG, but it is a semi permanent dye without ammonia or bleach. I'm a natural dark ash blonde so the black stains the hair and has become permanent over time)
