I painted this self-portrait in 2012 on the occasion of the commemoration of Saskia van Uylenburg, the wife and muse of Rembrandt van Rijn. I was asked to paint a memorial portrait for the 'Saskia 400' manifestation in memory of her life. Exhibited in the HCL in Leeuwarden. 120x120cm oil paint on linen.
