Edward Grey is a 18 year old boy with the same dark eyes as his family. The Grey family, they have nothing but old money and are hated by many people and families in the town. Edward has always lived in his twin brother's shadow, no matter what he did, he was always deprived from his love. He was always given what he wanted, but no amount of money could fill the gap in his heart. None of the maids or servants would speak to him, always their usually small professional chat before they ignored him once more. His brother, James on the other hand, only got love, love and some items he wanted.

Due to Edward not having much love, he'll push and pull your character at times. Seeming a bug childish at times. He's very controlling, so a fair warning, but he's very very sweet. So, whenever he gets attached to someone, he can get a bit too obsessive and possessive, abusing his power to fire people if they get too close to the one he loves.

Edward isn't his real name, his parents and brother often referring to him as his birth name, Edwin. Edward decided he wanted to give himself a different name is all.

Due to Edward's innocent looking appearance makes him seem fragile, but he's real big on proving people wrong. Edward is an uke, but his other side, his grey side in a seme, that's why he's a Seke. It'll be explained more in the roleplay.

BLCD Review: Koubutsu wa Mayonaka no Uchi ni Hara no Naka

Here’s a rather blurry chart of all the characters so far:

I assigned the colors based on their first appearances, so even though Noah and Kazui appears in Kossori while Rentarou, Yuuji-san, Yasuda, and Naochika in Mayonaka no Uchi, they’re only in yellow. Yuuji-san changes his last name to Takinami after his marriage to Rentarou, but since he and Naochika gets married and drops their maiden names in Mayonaka no Uchi, I kinda felt bad about not keeping it for at least Yuuji-san.

Man, I didn’t know that Mero was Naochika and Yasuda-san’s son. 😂 He’s quite the problematic character despite having the least problematic parents out of all of the second/third gen of characters. But well, after listening to the third installment, I think I can see why he turned out like that. It’s confirmed, y’all. The parents in this series are the worst. They were all obviously too busy fucking each other to take care of their children properly which is why they all turned out like how they did. Also, I can’t with how the parents treat their kids like they don’t really exist and are no big deal! I still have no idea how time and aging works in their mangaverse, but at this point, I’m too tired to even understand it. I just know that almost all of the bottoms here are at least twenty years older than their prospective tops because majority of them work with/are in the same industry the said top’s parents. 

The third installment is considerably better than the second one, but only because Naochika and Yasuda-san’s relationship isn’t that bad unlike the others. I enjoy Yasuda-san’s domesticity and how he spoils Naochika in this installment. Naochika’s jealousy wasn’t that annoying and Isami and his fiance’s presence was honestly forgettable anyway. However, fuck Masachika’s toxicity and entitlement. I did like how Grim had a backbone, but I wouldn’t really recommend dating and eventually marrying your rapist, boy. As for Yuuji-san and Rentarou—I can’t believe that Yuuji-san got pregnant with Masachika when Rentarou was still in fucking school. IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY. Like, I know this is porn and all, but yo, come on! If this doesn’t scream Mary Kay Letorneau case to you, I don’t know what to say to you. No wonder ya boy turned out to be like that smh.

Anyway, moving onto the voice work.

what a brilliant performance. If you’ve read my April Releases post, you’d know that I was skeptical about Maeno bottoming and to an entirely unfamiliar man at that. Once he appeared in track one, I was completely blown away. He does not sound like a rookie. I looked him up while listening to the BLCD and my oh my, my surprise at the find that he was the one who voiced Miki in Saishuu Densha last year! This is the kind of improvement I wish everyone would have when I say that they all just need a little more practice. Mans probably did some amazing training this past year to get this good. I mean, despite the rapist that Masachika was, he definitely did work that Maeno Tomoaki ass real good yo. Miyauchi really should’ve considered making Kudou carry their child. 😂 Hello, Noah-san? I also like his tone because it’s a little similar to Kondo Takashi and Sakurai Takahiro’s which you really don’t see much with the new gens.  I hope that he lands more roles in BLCDs and in the general industry because he has immense potential. This man is going to be a great seke majoring in semes, I tell you.

As for Maeno, YOOOOOOOOOOO!!! IT’S BEEN TEN YEARS SINCE THE LAST TIME I’VE HEARD HIM BOTTOM!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Nobody talks about Ore Dake Minaito xx Shichauzo where Ayumu tops Maeno in this house 😤 As I’ve stated earlier, I was more skeptical about Maeno bottoming than Masachika’s casting because I didn’t really like how Maeno bottomed back in Dolce. He’s been a seme for so long, that I even forgot that that was a thing. 😂 But what the heck, there were even times where I was forgetting that Maeno was Grim while I was listening to the BLCD. What did I even expect from a veteran? Petition for more Maeno bottom roles! PETITION FOR OKITSUMAENO

The real reason why I listened to this BLCD is because Miyake Kenta was in it. Y’all know how I’m trash for the first gens. 😩 Also, if y’all read my review for Kossori, I said that I wished that they would’ve just showed us a glimpse of Naochika and Yasuda-san’s relationship after the events of Kossori because I really did like their story to an extent. Yasuda-san and Naochika might be the only couple here who are close in age (Noah and Kazui’s ages are a bit hard to determine) and everything was pretty mutual between the two of them (Noah and Kazui’s relationship is too sketchy honestly). Back on topic, I’m quite surprised to find that Shirai Yuusuke voiced Naochika. I thought that Ichiban Saigo was released back in like 2013, so that threw me in for a loop. I can clearly remember that Miyake Kenta and Shirai Yuusuke’s performance in the first installment was great so that just goes to show that Shirai Yuusuke already had it even back when he started. Here’s to hoping Shirai Yuusuke gets cast in more roles more comfortable for his pitch and Miyake Kenta stays in the BL industry longer. 😭😭😭

I don’t have much to say about Makonyan and Tamaru Atsushi because they didn’t have enough screen time for me to judge them and I didn’t really care for their characters. 😂 You know, after Naochika and Yasuda-san, I also did kind of, umm, find their story in Ichiban Saigo appealing, but looking back at it now, I really regret thinking that. 😂 Man, 2017 was just three years ago. How could I have been such an...an enabler??? I don’t know what to say. *sigh* See you boys in Given but I really don’t want to face Ugetsu anymore. 👋

I did not and probably will never read the raws for this series, so I cannot vouch for it’s accuracy to the original manga. Though, I am confused as to why no one has ever translated it. I mean, it hasn’t been licensed to my knowledge, and I’m sure there are a lot of people who like this stuff—oh wait nvm. I hope it never gets translated and licensed. As an adaptation, in regards to voice work, this was great. The casting is also better than Kossori imo. I would not recommend listening to this even if you’re gen 1 trash like me. If y’all want to hear to some nekomimi action, I would just suggest listening to Sakyo Aya’s nekomimi bois instead. Kuroneko is Maeno x Kondo Takashi and Fukigen Kare is Kawahara Yoshihisa x Hirakawa Daisuke y’all!!!

A Map of the 637 Languages Spoken in NYC

The Endangered Language Alliance has produced a map of the 637 languages and dialects spoken by the residents of NYC (past and present).

It represents ELA's ongoing effort to draw on all available sources, including thousands of interviews and discussions, to tell the continuing story of the city's many languages and cultures. The patterns it reveals -- the clustering of West African languages in Harlem and the Bronx, a microcosm of the former Soviet Union in south Brooklyn, the multifaceted Asian-language diversity of Queens, to name a few -- only hint at the linguistic complexity of a city where a single building or block can host speakers of dozens of languages from across the globe.

The online map embedded in the page works ok, but a $50 donation to the organization will get you a 24″ x 36″ print for your wall.

According to a Gothamist post about the map, the size and diversity of the city sometimes means that a significant chunk of a language's worldwide speakers live in NYC:

I’ve decided to really REVAMP my account and by doing so I realized that sooner or later I was going to have to start all over from scratch. I will be keeping most of the same rules up and adding new updated rules that I think should be apart of my rules. Here’s the new updated version of all the rules you must follow if you wish to role-play with me. Failure to listen to my rules and warnings will lead termination of our role-play and account be blocked from viewing my page. 

(1) I am FULL literate and only expect YOU to be literate too. I will not accept roleplay requests from non-literate accounts. 

(2) I WILL NOT roleplay with: Non-roleplay accounts (meme accounts, fandoms, drawing, personal  etc.), Underage followers (meaning anyone under 16), Strictly submissive/dom based accounts.

(3) I DO NOT do roleplays that involve: rape fantasies (my oc’s will not rape yours), incest relationships, big age gaps (loli’s or shota’s), furries or animal related plots, weird and gross kinks/ sexual torture, yuri or lesbian plots, straight or heterosexual relationships, fandoms and ships. 

(4) Things that I DO accept roleplays related to: Angst, minor BDSM, minor age play, Seke X Seke (SwitchXSwitch), cross dressing/ femboys, Mpreg, darker plots such as: sickness, death, abuse, gore, horror. I will also do fluff and I do smut.

Edward "Edwin" Grey is a 17/18 year old male, he grew up quite the opposite of his brother, James. Edward grew up getting everything he wanted but no love, James got nothing but love. Edward is a bit distant, not knowing how to respond to things, due to not having much communication in his life, but once he gets attached and someone starts giving him attention as well as being kind to him, he tends to get obsessive, going as far to harm anyone in his way. Edward may be kind and gentle, but he is a grey, he can switch over to his "grey" side. His Grey side is the only thing that connects him to his family that has nothing but blood on their hands.

Edward can come off as cold at first, due to him not having any long-term people around him, but once you get to know him, you can't get rid of him. Edward can say some dark things to see what your character may say about them, he longs for companionship.

Jimin, more commonly known as Aphrodite is the God or Goddess of Love, Pleasure, Sex, and Procreation. Like Jesus, or “God” Aphrodite answers people’s prayers from all over the universe. However, he isn’t as kind as some of the other Gods. He won’t answer prayers for free, he needs something in return. He makes deals with the people he helps out, each deal is different from the last, and the one following. One day, he gets an interesting prayer from someone down on Earth and chooses to answer the prayer after making a deal.

Yoongi is your average 20 something year old male who focuses too much on his job than his social life. He works as a music teacher in a school, and runs his own side business producing music. He wakes up, gets ready to go teach his classes, then goes to his little studio, helps people with their music, goes home and prepares for the next day, then sleeps. He barely remembers to eat, only doing so because his best friend reminds him morning, noon, and night. He constantly tells his mom that he has a boyfriend, but in reality he doesn’t because he’s too involved with work to have time to meet anyone other than his left and right hands. So one day Yoongi’s mom says she wants to me Yoongi’s boyfriend in a week’s time, so Yoongi rushes to think of an idea, thus leading him to pray to Aphrodite.
