last movie: oh man... i havent watched a movie in months. maybe i rewatched one of the spiderverse movies or something? lego batman??? i have no idea, i just dont tend to watch movies. i dont even think about it.

sweet/savory/spicy: spicy! i actually cant do anything too sweet or too savory anymore. i have severe first bite syndrome after having a tumor on my salivary gland, which means the first bite of anything is extremely painful, but doubly so if its overly sweet, sour, or sometimes salty. spice is normal levels of pain though :)

relationship status: going on a first date this saturday! im very excited to meet her in person after texting and calling for the last several weeks! :)

last thing I searched: "nice hotels in new york" because i want to travel again next year, but i dont like air bnbs and sometimes i want to be a bougie lil fuck. but not even i have expensive new york money so maybe ill find a cheaper travel destination lol.

current obsession: LOVED arcane s2. aside from that, i have to be the main fan of my own WIP original series bc it's not done yet.

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*

no i don't think so tbh. the avalance or nothing fans annoyed me a bit, the ones who got mad when an episode was a bit avalance light, but nothing could sway me from them lmao. i just blocked them.

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

i've done this one before but my second most hated one? gary being a secret alien. anti-semitism? kind of a weird choice? mean to my main man gary?? not it. maybe he could have had a cool secret. or maybe he was an alien / creature who fell in love with earth, but didn't kidnap sara. like. why did he do that.

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

mona my beloved <3 but i do think everyone on tumblr likes her lmao. maybe rip? he's an asshole but he brought a kind of choatic energy that i missed in later seasons.

12. Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

umm maybe sara's death / cloning? the arrow sara lovers Hated that one but i think it slaps in like, a metaphorical sense. sara, staring down at the person who she was, and learning to become the person she is now. i liked that. and it was a good twist!!

hey i'm so so sorry it's taken me Forever to answer this lol </3. i think i got this ask literally the night of the season 6 finale n i'm Just now getting to it after the season 7 finale. i hope this may still be relevant to you anon, and yess newly married avalance my beloved <3

-they both call each other wifey/wife All the time. it makes them both super giddy to think about the fact that they're Married now and that they're Wives. gives them both a warm fuzzy feeling to hear themselves say it/be called it

-they get even more touchy and physical after their wedding. they just love being close to each other and touching each other, even in the most innocent of ways, whenever they can. especially sara. she Loves holding her wife's hand literally any chance she gets

-not a whole lot really changes with them, because they've been together for so long and they love each other so so much but at the same time they can't shake the feeling of things being new and exciting bc they're!! married!! even w the situation of being stuck in 1925 Texas

-they talk about a potential honeymoon a lot, in quiet moments where it's just them. it's something to look forward to and hold on to while they're stuck in the mess they're in. they like to plan where they'll go and for how long and what they'll do (they end up laughing abt that part tho bc they Say they're going to do things but they both know they'll most likely be too wrapped up in each other to actually Do any of it)

-they try to take a couple of hours here and there, when they can, to escape into john's pocket dimension manor, mostly just to let themselves take a bit to relax and destress with each other, usually a healthy mix of cuddling, kissing and sex (and also napping, too. they're tired dammit they need a break sometimes lmao)

Oh, you sweet summer child, you must be new or fortunate enough not to have seen my salty tags when legends season 3 and 4 were airing I explained it better here, not eloquently, mind you, but a bit more in-depth. Basically it's just Very Bland and Very White, and not as progressive or feminist as the fandom wants it and paints it to be tbh. Sara hasn't had storylines or character development of her own since A/va got in the picture, she basically exists as another half of ava/ance and listen listen, i like seeing women kiss and be gay, that should've won them some extra points lmao, but them?? screentime would've been better anywhere else, their scenes are not particularly interesting and FAR from earned. A/va did NOTHING to either earn Sara's affection or the audience's. Also she's biphobic! maybe the writers had 'good intentions' but she still came across as very biphobic.

Anyway, this is a handy little exercise that does wonders for perspective: Picture a/va as a man...now all the abuse and belittling isn't so cute anymore, huh? now the fact that sara is reduced to nothing more that a/va's gf isn't quite 'the gays are winning' situation everyone seems focused on

anyway, thanks for asking anon, a good venting session does wonders for the soul, even if i'll probably never catch up on lot (good non ava/ance sara fics my beloved)

Even sister Tambi is there to lend some serious muscle. Issue #1 is on sale now.     5. Black Lightning hits all the right notes with Anissa’s storyline. This week on the second episode of Black Lightning, Anissa begins figuring out her newfound powers, and enjoys a passionate and playful scene with girlfriend, Chenoa. The super sexy and realistic scene was a big step forward for LGBTQ portrayals on TV and gave Anissa’s relationship the same weight that a straight character would have.
