I have always believed that process is more important than results -MS Dhoni

Perhaps the most mysterious Indian athlete and respected personality around the world, MS Dhoni finally cut his boots from international cricket in 2020 . And that in its very own, inimitable way – without any noise. This element of his personality is what makes him special and unique - no noise, no fuss. Even when he made an impromptu decision to retire from tests, he did so without any noise. His characteristic calm demeanour has defined virtually his entire cricket career. He's received equal amounts of criticism and applause - scathing for his frequent creeping opportunities lately and achieving virtual demi-god status for winning almost every significant trophy under his belt - but what has never changed is his reserved attention to them. MSD reached the peak of his career through sheer acumen and brilliant leadership. He arrived on the international stage when veterans like Sachin and Saurav were on the wand, and Indian Cricket was going through a transition where MSD had to deal with reigns and keep the balance - regarding the seniors but also leading them. He gradually began taking control of the game from behind the wickets, and soon became the captain due to his excellent understanding of the game and his knack for intuitive playing. No matter what, MS never showed anything on the field. He had this unique property of absorbing pressure but separated himself from the result. His personality on the field was always the same - Zen. He was a monk who clobbered bowlers during death overs to gift India incredible victories, and his lightning-fast stumping and run out was just another example of his brilliance. His focus on the process rather than the result has earned him laurels and of course millions of fans around the world. What MS taught us was to believe in our abilities, to dream, and to rise high based on sheer hard work. When he arrived on the cricket field, people had hope. That some miracle would happen and it did – many times. Who can forget that he lost to Bangladesh with one hand and sealed the victory of India from the jaw of defeat? In the semi-final world cup match against New Zealand, wickets were falling on the other side, but he was still there in the crease, giving us a glimmer of hope. His unfortunate run-down dashed all our hopes, and it was hard to watch as he made his dreary return to the pavilion. In the 2009 India-Australia series, Dhoni hit 124 runs with just 107 balls in his second ODI, recorded 71 runs with 95 balls with Yuvvraj sigh and India returned home with 6 wickets. Third ODI. Dhoni won the first and only wicket in international cricket on September 30, 2009. He bowled Travis Dowlin in the West Indies during a match at the 2009 ICCI Champions Trophy. He topped the ICC ODI Batsman Ranking for several months in 2009. Australia's Michael Hussey replaced him at the top in early 2010. In 2012, Pakistan toured India in a bilateral series for the first time in five years. In the three-game ODI series, Dhoni scored India's top score in all three innings. But India lost Series 1-2. At the first ODI in Chennai, he helped India recover from 29/5 and posted a total of 227 with over 50. For the reason he lost, he played 113 knocks and

formed a record partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin. In the 2013 Champions Trophy, Dhoni became the first and only captain of the International Cricket to win all ICC Trophies. In the short rainy final against England, he played in the ducks and finished the tournament with 2 innings to 27 runs. However, his field placement and tactics were convenient, and the team managed to beat the opponent in 5 runs (D / L method). He was also nominated by the ICC as the captain and wicketkeeper of the "Tournament Team". India's preparations going into the tournament looked poor as India thrashed Australia's Carlton Middle Triangle series without winning a single match. Dhoni himself ran just 70 runs over three innings, averaging 23.34. India had won over arch-rivals Pakistan, South Africa (which they have not beaten in World Cup matches before), UAE, West Indies, Ireland, and Zimbabwe. In Eden Park against Zimbabwe, he hit 85 while chasing 288 and was unbeaten with Suresh Raina on 196. This is the highest score an Indian captain has ever scored on New Zealand soil. Beating Bangladesh in the quarter-finals, he became third and the first non- Australian captain to win 100 ODI matches. He shot a 65 against eventual champions Australia in the semi-finals as India failed to defend their title. Dhoni stepped down as captain of India in Limited Over Format in January 2017, just before the ODI series at home with England. In the second game in the series, he won 134 out of 122 balls. This included a 256-run partnership for the fourth Wicket with Yuvraj Singh. His 10th century at ODI was the first time in more than three years. He was nominated by Cricbuzz as the "Tournament Team" wicket-keeper at the 2017 Champions Trophy. He was also nominated by Cricbuzz at this year's ODI XI. During the fifth and final ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo in August of that year, he was Akira Dananjaya off the coast of Yuzvendra Chahal. MSD became the first wicketkeeper to stump 100 times over Kumar Sangakkara when he was confused. He reached the milestone of achieving 400 dismissals at ODI in February 2018 after Aiden Lamb was puzzled by the third ODI on his South African tour.

These few achievements of MS Dhoni tells us what a great leader and a sports person he is and he also taught us no matter how critical the situation is It can be dealt with a calm mind.

That's what MSD does to us. It will always be there. For what he has accomplished for his country and himself, is pure magic. Thank you MS Dhoni for all the memories. You play all the way to the end, but you shy away from the championship celebration and let the team celebrate. You take the heat and absorb so much stress. Roderick Strong won the Men’s Battle Royal

Undisputed ERA have experienced their share of setbacks lately, but Roderick Strong made sure Worlds Collide wasn’t one of them. Strong’s world-renowned ring conditioning helped push The Messiah of the Backbreaker past 19 of NXT UK, 205 Live and NXT’s best and brightest to prevail in the Men’s Battle Royal.

Just as Strong’s victory cannot be disputed, the mayhem that took place before his hand was raised cannot be ignored. The action erupted from the opening bell and rarely let up. The highlight-reel moments came in rapid succession and ranged from the convivial (Eric Bugenhagen gifting Matt Riddle an air guitar so they could rock out together at ringside) to the daring (Dominik Dijakovic inviting the rest of the field to “come and get some” after he eliminated Fabian Aichner and Akira Tozawa).

Superstars from opposing brands came into conflict, creating intriguing standoffs, such as when Riddle and Dave Mastiff plastered each other with strikes. The Forgotten Sons and Joe & Mark Coffey found strength in numbers, while other alliances were strained, as Rinku Singh found out when he was eliminated by his own teammate, the massive Saurav Gurjar. The bodies continued to fly until only four Superstars remained: NXT’s Strong, Riddle and Gurjar and NXT UK’s Tyler Bate.

Collectively identifying the 6-foot-8, 300-pound Gurjar as the next obstacle to be removed, Strong, Riddle and Bate all went after the big man. Gurjar shook them off and even booted The Original Bro over the ropes and out of contention, before Bate channeled his inner Big Strong Boi and muscled Gurjar out of the ring, ending the Indian Superstar’s impressive WWE Network debut.

From there, it was a mad dash between Bate and Strong. Both Superstars tapped into their reserves and clobbered each other with their signature offense as the WWE fans chanted “This is awesome.” After several close calls, Bate, who was on the apron, tried springboarding his way back into the ring, only to be drilled by Strong’s knee strike. The Undisputed ERA member quickly capitalized on the predicament and dropkicked Bate to the floor.

While it’s doubtful that Strong would consider the result a victory for NXT so much as a win for The Undisputed ERA, such semantics matter not. Strong once again shocked the system, but this time the jolt reverberated through the black-and-gold brand and beyond.
