It's totally fine when they need more time or don't want to stream or whatever. But it would be amazing and taking a lot of frustration away if each of them - and not just Dream - could communicate with us.

Like if Sapnap would have said 'Guys, something important is coming up that will take a while and I won't be able to stream or do much of any other content for the while! Apologize! You will know as soon as possible what it's about!' (aka the hair transplant) and that would be AMAZING communication. either on a stream or on twitter or even youtube community notes.

George just making a short statement (when he doesn't feel safe even on either his private twitter or even sub twitter) that he's working on the other project and isn't really into streaming lately? Would be a very good and professional way to let us know!

And well Dream is the person from the example above lmao. He really should just actively talk about his project dropping when it does lmao.

Otherwise maybe a small twitter tweet here and there - be that on main or alt or private or sub - would be really nice or maybe a snapchat a week or a silly little tiktok or whatever. All this would help us as fans to understand everything better and be able to not get impatient and all.

Ok so this is gonna be kinda long so sorry for that anon.

I'm gonna be honest, I watched quackity before his dsmp era bc i watched the circle of Reddit react YouTubers he was friends with. But during the whole dsmp stuff I've only watched a couple of his streams and there aren't a lot of thoughts. I do think it's annoying how he still associates with the dreamteam though. He's a really smart and logical person, so he either genuinely does not believe the allegations, doesn't care, or has refused to get involved to the point where he doesn't know much about it. Idk which one it is. But all options are questionable.

Sapnap though. Hoooo boy. I was a sapnap Stan before all this anon. I was hyperfixed. I would watch every single YouTube video I'd watch all streams. I'd watch compilations. I followed him and all his alts on Twitter. I even watched the Valorant streams even though I think Valorant is one of the most boring things to watch ever.

I'm gonna be honest I disliked dream already. I knew about the republican Reddit account. I knew about the whole supporting trump until mid 2020 thing. I disliked him but had to put up with him for the sake of my streamer ig.

Then the manatreed stuff happened. The KKK edit came to light etc and I completely dropped all of them entirely bc the whole thing made me feel sick.

As for an analysis of his personality. Fair warning, I haven't watched any sapnap content since the manatreed situation happened.

But I'd say he has the potential to be decent, good. He has shown to be a ride or die friend, very caring. But he also is very ignorant and uncaring on a lot of topics. He is harsher towards women. The insults he uses when angry can be homophobic sometimes, aka the use of "cocksucker" or the time he called MCC "aids". It's probably from being a gamer since idk when. The online gaming community is very bigoted as we all know, and it's probably from how he was raised as well? Idk.

But like he's an adult now. His community contains a lot of teenagers who aren't cishet white boys who like saying homophobic jokes and giggle about it. He's had the time to adapt or even notice the things he says or does are wrong. He can and should educate himself and the gamer thing is not an excuse.

It's obvious he's insecure about shit a lot. And being a streamer doesn't help with that, but he overcompensates by being loud and trying to be extra manly ig. At least that's how I read his behaviour. Of course this isn't 100% right I can't read his mind. But like. Yeah.

The ride or die friend thing also kinda doomed him in this situation bc like. Idk. I think if you think rationally about everything that has happened. Would you really stick with a person like dream. Idk. Leaving behind friends is hard, especially since they've been friends for over a decade iirc but it doesn't make me feel any sympathy for him, bc the shit his friend has done is not some mild stuff either.

In general uh his actions are ignorant and harmful, he knowingly ignores everything and backs dream up at all times.

If he drops the Dt and gets some better friends. And also educates himself. He might become better. But like. Yeah that's not happening lmao.

okay firstly to premise, i think sapnap is a pretty shy guy himself. he’s absolutely the guy who refuses to correct a waiter after they read their order back to him wrong

so he would get it. i don’t really think he would try to push you out of your comfort zone

lets say you guys met in a csgo lobby lol. sapnap was practicing before a stream, playing with strangers, and you popped up

and you didn’t speak for the first like. five rounds. you were AMAZING with last minute clutches but you never spoke so people just kind of assumed you didn’t have ur mic on

except one round, sapnap lost focus and nearly ruined the round, forgetting to call out his location for a cover

luckily you came in with the clutch and shot the enemy before they could get to sapnap, saving the round

and so while in the lobby, sapnap turns on his mic and just “[user], thanks for saving my ass out there.”

and your voice just comes through, a little clipped and very shy, “no problem,” before your mic is muted again

sapnap ends up saving ur gamer tag and inviting you whenever he needs someone to play with or fill a lobby

this turns into playing every day, and you guys become rlly good friends thru the screen. you both keep to yourselves for the most part, a strict csgo relationship if you will

chat knows about you bc sapnap always has you on his alt streams to talk and hang out with him. surprisingly, chat is very protective over you and cheer you on even if you’re on a different team than sap

i imagine sapnap gives you his minecraft info and lets you go around the dsmp the same way dream lets drista hang out with his info

just... a stream where he leads you around and just talks to you in vc while you share your screen with him,,, and chat is like. sapnap you are so in love.

you spend your time in the smp making a cottage and a house for yourself. you even tame a cat.

(it’s the first pet on the server that sapnap doesn’t try to kill. that’s how chat knows he’s in too deep.)

and the thing is,, he wants to ask u to be his s/o,, but you’re so shy that he has no idea how you feel about him

you’re not flirty and you’re friendly with everyone, so it’s hard to see any signs.

so basically, dsmp has lore right? and in that lore DreamXD (XD) is a canon character, who is based off of Dream’s alt minecraft account ‘DreamXD’

DreamXD is known as the god of the server (he has OP lmao), and he as appeared in technos, foolishs, sapnaps, georges and wilbur’s stream in the past. his character is super cool. in the canon lore, dream and XD do not appear to know each other personally, but many people like to hc that they are siblings in the mcyt tickle community ( @covenofwives has a whole au about it) . i personally write them as non-related

GeorgeHD (HD) is what people believe to be George’s godly counter part (just as XD is to Dream), based on George’s old minecraft name ‘GeorgeeHD’. HD is not canon on the smp, and again, when you read tk fics on him, some people write him and george as siblings, others don’t.

Sapnap4K (4K) represents Sapnap’s godly counterpart, and is also not canon to the dsmp lore. there is debate on what 4K should be called (some call him ‘PandasCanPvP’ based on saps old minecraft name). @covenofwives and @error-pleaseleaveamessage-error have both written him with different names before. it’s all about interpretation, and just as with the other gods, some people headcannon 4K and sap to be related, others don’t
