I’ve noticed that my dad has started acquiring a sailor’s mouth in his old age, and I’m in my later 20’s

my dad has had a sailor's mouth my entire life. for a while he tried to keep me from cussing, and I didn't really start that much until he started letting me. I think i was a freshman so probably like 14-15, maybe a little younger?

Now both he and I will cuss all the time. But I still can't tell him to shut up.
