THE LUPE SHIFTERS

The Lupe pack started out as a family within the deep dorests of Maine about 300 years ago. Within those forests they were self sufficient, very rarely ventured into the city of Maine or its town, they held no need. Were able to live of the land, hunting and building their own shelters. Over the years they expanded to take in other shifters who happened across their haven, accepting them into their folds and becoming a family all the better for it. It wasn't unheard of for them to take in children who had lost their parents, nor was it uncommong for the Alpha to take on the children of shifters who had lost their lives to childbirth or other reasons. It wasn't even uncommon for children to be simply left in the forest interior by shifters who did not want their children. For the most part Jake was given these wayward children, they were more than just his brothers and sisters, in a lot of ways they became his children, even those who were of similar ages to him, as they grew, he protected them like they were his own. That sentiment has not changed over the years.

Mitchel Lupe / Tobias Sorenson - born 1867 - Furore Shifter

At 153, Mitchell is actually the oldest of the Lupe children, but is not their child by blood. Mitchel was once apart of a rival pack in Maine. The Lupe pack were able to overcome the rival pack, and took Mitchel in, along with several of the rival pack, and some other children. It was Mitchell who took Jake under his wing. Mitchel though has always struggled with the knowledge of being raised amongst a pack who all but wiped out his own pack. That the man who raised him as his son, the very man who killed his own parents. Always confused and uncertain with his life. He held love for his father, but also despised him for what he had done. Mitchel is the guy who Jake turns to for advice, doesn't always listen to him, but they are super close. Perhaps the closest of the siblings. Jake has always been the leader, but Mitchel and his word is always something that Jake listens to. No matter where Jake has led them, Mitchel, has always been there right at his side, following him without question. To Mitchel, Jake is the type of man that he strives to be, but also knows he could never reach. He's to much of a hot head, to quick to anger where as his brother isn't. They are in a lot of ways opposite to one another. But he is a good person with sound advice, he sees the world in ways that very few people actually does. Above everything Mitchel is the type who wants to be able to help other people, whether he's gone into the police force and is now struggling with the happenings around the world and losing his job, or whether he is in a similar field to his niece and is helping with children, or something else entirally is all open to whoever takes him.

Tavor Lupe / ronen rubinstein (none negotionable) born 1872- Bear shifter

Tavor is the identical twin of Adulf Lupe (on site) and like Mitchel they were adopted into the family. They were to young to know what happened to their parents, just shy of a year when the Lupe alpha found them. Tavor has perhaps always been the one who has felt the most pushed away from the family. He's always felt like an outsider, even with his own Twin. Nothing that any of them have ever done truly, but there were always those that were easier to get along with. The ones that others needed more attention than he did. So he never felt quiet as connected to the family the way his twin did. Truly the only one that he ever felt connected to, was his twin, and it always felt like there was this disconnected between them. Twins were supposed to be these super close people and Tavor never quiet felt that way. Always wondered if there was something wrong with him. He just doesn''t quiet feel the way other people did. When their father died he never felt it the way the others did, and when Due was murdered it never quiet affected him, even when word reached him about the death of his own twins mate and son he just never quiet felt. Tavor has always been more intune with the darker things of life, always felt a little more comfortable with things others shied away from. No doubt that has followed him well into adulthood and if he's inLA with the rest of the pack he know doubt has deep connections with the likes of the Black Market, or, if he's only just coming to LA then he's had connections with other such things.

Seethe Lupe / Barbara Palvin -born 1870 - shifter or Skinwalker

Jake and Seethe are exactly the same age, and were raised together as if they were twins, they did everything together growing up. They knew what the other one was thinking and were constantly getting into mischief together. It took Seethe a long time to learn that she wasn't actually Jakes sister, that they shared no blood and that her real family had never wanted her so handed her over to the Alpha of the pack to raise while they went on their way. Just a couple of shifters passing through Maine who found something they needed at the time. It has never truly bothered her that she isn't related to them by blood, they are siblings through and through and no one, not a damn person could ever argue that. They are the two who got into trouble the most, and if there was trouble to be had you can rest assured Jake and Seethe managed to find it. They were responsible for more than one grey hair on their parents heads thank you very much. Seethe is the very definition of tom boy and spent a lot of her younger years proving to her younger siblings that she could still do everything they could do even if she was a girl, not that they ever meant to treat her different, but she was the first girl amongst the boys, and she wanted to get rough and ready with them. She wanted to climb trees and rope swing and everything else they were doing, and when her brother, as they got older, started showing interest in cars and how they worked, she was right there at the side of him getting her hands covered in greese. In fact they both worked at the same garage for a couple of years in one of the towns they had settled in. This is something Seethe has never grown out of, shes the first to get her hands dirty, she is a fire cracker through and through, a little scrappy thing as well. For Seethe deciding not to leave with the pack was the hardest thing she had ever done, and while she hadn't found love persay, the pack they had joined was the first time where she truly felt like she belonged, and it was nothing against those who had raised her, and the idea of walking away from her family greatly affected her, but this was her home, and she knew it was, deep in her soul. With things in the world taking a turn though, Seethe has left her once happy home and moved to LA to be with her siblings. If war is coming she wants to be there, at their side. Protecting them.

Liza Lupe / Emily Didonato -born 1887 - shifter

One of the last adopted into the family, and that was more to do with the siblings who took her in, than anything to do with the man she would never call father. If it was down to him he would have turned her on her ass, whether she was just a little girl or not. Despite being the last to be adopted into the family, she was also the oldest to be adopted into the family. She was five when she was adopted into the family, and because of this, because she was older and because of how terrible things were around the pack at the time. She became so sheltered and so protected. Each one of her siblings did everything in their power to keep her hidden from how bad things were. Luckily for her, she didn't have to deal with the pack for as long as the rest of her siblings did. She had a year with a man who she knew nothing about other than how cruel he was to one of the men who had rescued her from the cold and bitter forests of Maine during one of the harshest winters. Because of this she will be the first to tell you that she is a princess, a spoilt princess, but shes not cruel with it, she just knows that she can get what she wants when she wants to. She can read her family like a book, which made hiding anything from her really difficult. So they do try and hide things from her that they think she can't handle, which is not always the smarest thing when it comes to her and her family. It was one of the reasons she decided not to follow her siblings on their constant moving about. She wanted to be able to spread her wings, she wanted to be able to find her feet without her families constant hovering, because if there is anything that her family knows it is that Jake is a hoverer, but so are the rest. What happened after she left them, when she left, is totally ipen to whoever takes her, but, like her sisters will make her way back to LA once all the shit hits the fan.

Maverick Lupe /Nick Jonas -born 1885 - Furore shifter

Mav is actually Jakes half brother dumped onto his lap once the child had been born and their father had tossed his mother out on her ear on fear of death if she were to every return.So Mav like the rest was raised by Jake and the older siblings. Mav is actually closer to Adulf than the rest of them, but, is also super close to all of his family, and made his way to LA with Jake, and followed Jake as well, mostly because he didn't want to be the burden to Adulf who was settling in with his new family and his new life. He didn't want to ruin that. He did have a tough start in his life, mostly because like Jake, he was targeted by their father. And he always wondered why his father had never just tossed him aside like he did his mother. Why he had made him stay. Questions he would never have answers to of course. They left before he would ever be able to ask the questions. He struggled to settle, he, perhaps even worse than Jake felt the hatred that came from their father, and while for Jake it was physical for him it was always more emotional and as a small child, that stuck, and stayed with him. Adulf was the one to suggest to him when they ere older, that he place his focus somewhere other than all that hate. Try and focus it somewhere else, suggested he get himself in the local gym and it spiraled from there. Joined various MMA gyms in different cities they settled and became pretty popular among the circuits as well. It has helped him immensely but he does still struggle with his self esteem. Its also worth a note that he and Rieka also get along pretty well as well, so much so that she has named one of her puppies after him, which is a big compliment. Along with this, whatever he does for a living (if he is no longer professionally working mma circuits), would leave him with enough time to actually take care of said puppies (note there are six in total).

Ryder Lupe /chris wood -born 1889 - Furore shifter/TAKEN

Ryder was actually found by Jake, he was injured, stuck in his wolf form and circling his fathers dead body. No one knows what happened, especially Ryder, or, if he does he has never been able to talk about it. Or, at all. Jake stayed with him for weeks, trying to get Ryder to trust him enough so he could return to his mortal form. That bonded them together more than simple siblings, Ryder views him as a father and Jake views him as a son. Their bond is unbreakable and undeniable. For the first several years Jake didn't think he was able to talk, the truth of the matter is, he can, he just chooses not to. He only talks when there is a need to say something. A man of very fiew words. Hes a very loyal individual, to a fault. He would die for his family, but especially Jake. He would put his entire life on hold for him, and its not unheard of for him to call Jake dad. Whenever Jake packs up, Ryder follows. He's a smart, and sensitive soul who is struggling under the oppression that is happening in the world, he doesn't understand all the hatred but it is also bringing nightmares back that he is desperately trying to ignore but can't so he's turned to sleeping meds etc to try and sleep and numb himself.

jeffrey dean morgan: Taylor Ryder.

taylor rider is a 57 year old restaurant owner. starting out with nothing from a young age being born from a teenage single mother. growing up it never was about what you had but what you did with it. his mother had did the best she could with the man and raised him to always never give up in life. a very respectful young man who had fallen in love with his college sweetheart in culinary school. the two married fairly quickly and began working on their large family. their restaurant was a family business that grew to the locals in minnesota and anytime you are in town you have to stop by kind of place. his youngest daughter however taking a path down one that would get her in a lot of trouble that eventually caused her in losing custody to her two twins who taylor now has custody of. widower for 9 years and now a currently single grandparent raising two small children all over again.

ronen rubinstein: Benjamin Solomono

benny was born 30 years ago to two of the most wonderful parents a kid could ask for. his mother was a horror moving star in the 80's but was quick to give it up the moment she had found out that she had grown pregnant with a baby boy, beckett. soon came benjamin not but one little year behind. giving up the lifestyle was easy for her to stay home and raise her children while their father continued to me an agent for local hollywood talent. ben's mother homeschooling both boys through their years until college made ben grow close with his mother. beckett always teasing him for being a mommy's boy but benjamin always owned up to it. he respected and loved his mother dearly and owed who he was to her. now the thirty year old man pursued his own career in directing but only minor film. he struggles knowing that a lot of the jobs that he lands come when they find out who his mother was which often upsets him. a true romantic at heart he still searches for the special someone to grow a family with.

katherine mcnamara: lilliana 'lily' nivola

born and raised in colorado, the twenty seven year old has never met her birth parents. growing up her adoption had always been open but her parents had thought it best to step away and leave her with a family who could give her what she truly needed. that they did her parents were two wonderful and loving humans who did nothing but support lily in every opportunity she had decided to take in her life. growing up she was a model student, straight a's, played in sports and even was on the debate team so getting into stanford was not surprising to her folks when she received the letter. however as much as lily had dreamed of going to stanford she just didn't see it as her true calling. she had went anyways and did two years until she had to do what her heart was pulling her to do. she packed her bags and left her family and friends for eight years where she focused the education system in cape verde and not only helped in educating but also the english language lessons to aspiring students overseas. now she is back in her hometown trying her best to find herself and her place since returning.

sophia bush: Freya Noelle

a few words come to mind when people think of freya. frazzled, impatient and not only a workaholic but a caffeineaholic. most of the people who know the forty year old know her as someone who is often seen on the surgeon floor and way too over caffeinated for her own good. a woman who had grown up independent and slightly guarded when it came to her personal life and heart. if she had invested half the time she did in her career she would have been married and with kids as her nana had always preached her to. though freya knew there was more to her than just a boring housewife who was used to make little carbon copies of herself for the world and her family name. working her ass off in college and then even harder to make a name for herself at the pediatrics hospital in central florida. although she spends a lot of time in the hospital and taking any shift she can possible get her hands on when she gets a call she often enjoys volunteering in the maternity ward as a baby cuddler. although she doesn't regret any of her life choices through her life the older she gets the more frey had wished she would have had a child of her own.

Theodore Allen ‘Teddy’ Baker is a twenty-six year old werewolf from New York. It was just his father and him for most of his life, his mother not in the picture. He wasn’t sure if she was gone or if she never really cared enough to see how he was doing. He tried searching for her, but he couldn't find her name. It was like that name or person didn’t exist at all in the world.

He is a full blooded werewolf, both of his parents being part of separate packs. His father always told him that his mother dropped him off at his dad’s fire station that he worked at with a note.  Once he did the DNA test and proved that Teddy was his, he named him, got full custody and brought him home.

His father passed away three years ago, which resulted in him moving to the island. He wanted to get far away from New York, missing him was hard enough, but seeing every memory, everyday was a nightmare.

Teddy likes to have fun, he enjoys life and he is normally one that will go to the bars and such. He is a firefighter, which is more of an homage to his father more than for him because he was the captain of the team back in New York.

His father had taught Teddy control from a young age and he does decently well, except that Teddy had a drug problem, resulting in him almost overdosing and ever since then, he has been having trouble controlling his shifts.

Teddy is sarcastic, angry and sometimes he can be a downright dick.
